TAKATA RECALL. RECALL ISSUED 5/23/2016. TOYOTA RECOMMENDS NO OCCUPANTS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL REMEDIED. NO REMEDY YET. WE FEEL OVER 6 MONTHS IS AN EXCESSIVE TIME PERIOD TO HAVE NO PASSENGERS IN FRONT SEAT AND NO REMEDY AVAILABLE.
TAKATA RECALL WE RECEIVED A RECALL FOR THE TAKATA AIR BAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IN MAY 2016. IT IS NOW DECEMBER 2016 AND IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. WE HAVE ASKED OUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP ABOUT THIS AND THEY STILL SAY THERE ARE NO PARTS.

TAKATA RECALL I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA EARLY JUNE OF 2016 TO STATE THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG HAS BEEN RECALLED AND THE REMEDY WAS NOT READY. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN HALF YEAR SINCE THEN, AND THE REMEDY IS STILL NOT READY. NONE OF THE DEALERS HAS IT. TOYOTA HASN'T SENT ANY FOLLOW UP NOTICE SINCE THEN. I JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA LAST WEEK TO STATE THAT THE SLIDE DOORS ON THE SIENNA COULD OPEN DURING THE DRIVING. MY KIDS SIT ON IT EVERYDAY, AND IT IS REALLY SCARY EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY TURNED OFF THE POWER DOOR FUNCTION. EVEN MORE SCARY, BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE AIRBAG, HARD TO KNOW HOW LONG TOYOTA WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS RECALL. CAN SOMEONE LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM WITH TOYOTA AND URGE THEM TO TAKE THE ACTION AND START REPAIRING ALL THE CRITICAL RECALLS? *TR

TAKATA RECALL - ISSUE REMAINING SINCE RECEIVING A NOTICE DATED MAY 23, 2016...ALMOST ONE YEAR. ALSO A RECALL INVOLVING A SLIDING POWER DOOR SYSTEM THAT WAS ISSUED NOVEMBER 22, 2016. NEITHER RECALL HAS A FIX AND BOTH ARE POTENTIALLY VERY DANGEROUS SAFETY ISSUES. I HAVE CONTACTED TOYOTA NUMEROUS TIMES AND THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE ALTERNATE, SAFE TRANSPORTATION FOR MY FAMILY, WHICH INCLUDES 3 YOUNG CHILDREN. I AM DRIVING MY FAMILY AROUND EVERY DAY WITH A POTENTIAL AIRBAG AND/OR SLIDING DOOR MALFUNCTION WAITING TO HAPPEN. IT HAS BEEN A VERY LONG TIME AND NEITHER OF THESE ISSUES HAS A DATE BY WHICH THEY ARE TO BE FIXED.

TAKATA RECALL I GOT THIS NOTICE IN 2016 AND STILL NO AIRBAG FIX. THIS IS OUR FAMILY CAR AND I'VE BEEN PUT OUT MANY TIMES WITH ONLY BEING ABLE TO FIT THE DRIVER AND 5 PEOPLE IN THE BACK.
