COOLANT HOSES RELEASED AND RADIATOR SPLIT OPEN -- APPEARED WHILE DRIVING --- FLUID RELEASED ONTO WINDSHIELD
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 325I. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, THE RADIATOR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STOPPED AT A FUEL STATION, ADDED WATER TO THE RADIATOR, AND CONTINUED DRIVING. THE CONTACT DROVE TO PETER PAN BMW (1625 ADRIAN RD, BURLINGAME, CA 94010) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT A NEW RADIATOR WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON JUNE 19, 2019 BY THE SAME DEALER PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V273000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AND THE FAILURE OCCURRED EVER SINCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 136,000.
The contact owns a 2006 BMW 330XI. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V119000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms remedy not yet available.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 325I. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY OVERHEATED WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE HEATER SENSOR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND NOTICED ANTIFREEZE LEAKING OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE RESULTS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V273000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 146,000.
I HAVE A RECALL ON THE HEATER DEVICES, NOT QUIT SURE WHAT THAT IS BUT IT CAN CAUSE MY ENGINE TO OVERHEAT AND CATCH FIRE. I'VE ALREADY REPLACED THE COOLANT SYSTEM BECAUSE OF OVER HEATING I'M VERY SCARED OF DRIVING THE CAR. I WOULD LIKE TO GET IT FIXED A SOON AS POSSIBLE, ITS NICE CAR AND I'VE PUT A LOT OF MONEY IN IT ALREADY, TRYING TO KEEP IT ON THE ROAD,ITS MY WORK TRANSPORTATION.
OK SO IG WAS 1:30AM AND I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY THEN I START FEELING THE STEERING WHEEL KIND OF WEAR SO I WAS GONNA PULL OVER ON THE NEXT EXIT BUT J COULDN'T, CAUSE I LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR AND I CRASH BEHIND AN 18 WHEEL TRUCK SO I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL:ARM
THERE IS A PROBLEM REGARDING THE AIRBAG WARNING LAMP AND THE MRS SYSTEM. NHTSA RECALL 10025849 COVERS VEHICLES PRODUCED FROM 8/31/05 TO 4/26/06. MY CAR WAS PRODUCED IN 6/2006 (JUST TWO MONTHS LATER) AND IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM BUT IS NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL.
MY 2006 BMW 330I CAUGHT FIRE IN MY DRIVEWAY 2.5HRS AFTER BEING DRIVIN. THE CAR DID NOT INDICATE ANY WARNING PRIOR TO THE FIRE.

My car was just sitting in my driveway and my roommate noticed she said is there is your car supposed to be on fire and we went out there had to break the windows and it was already on fire and totally ruined from any repair. I didn't receive a recall until a year after it had already caught on fire. The car is totaled in my backyard. And is beyond repair because of the fire

I HAVE A 2006 BMW 330I E90, THE VIN# IS [XXX]. MY PCV VALVE HAS FAILED AND ABSOLUTELY MELTED THROUGH. THE PLASTIC HOUSING IS ENTIRELY MELTED, AND THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND WIRES ARE MELTED THROUGH. LUCKILY I LIVE IN COLORADO AND IT IS VERY COLD HERE IN FEBRUARY AND THE CAR DID NOT CATCH ON FIRE. I STARTED DOING RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET ON THE PART AND FOUND BMW RECALL 17V-683. I FOUND THE ATTACHED RECALL DOCUMENT AND HIGHLIGHTED THE RELEVANT SECTION IN GREEN, WHERE ON PAGE 11 ( OR PAGE 1 OF THE FAQ SECTION) IT SAYS THE RECALL IS FOR E90 MODELS PRODUCED STARTING IN JULY 2006; MY CAR WAS PRODUCED JUNE 13, 2006. I CALLED BMW CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR WAS NOT IN THE RECALL AND IT WAS A COINCIDENCE THAT THE EXACT SAME PART MELTED, AS WHAT WAS BEING RECALLED FOR CARS BUILT ONLY TWO WEEKS LATER. I DON'T THINK SO. HOW CAN BMW SAY THAT BECAUSE MY CAR WAS BUILT TWO WEEKS PRIOR THAT THEY KNOW FOR A FACT, THAT A GOOD PCV VALVE WAS INSTALLED IN MY CAR? WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT THE BAD PCV VALVES ARE MELTING. AND I CAN CERTAINLY PROVE THAT MINE HAS MELTED. SO, A RESPONSIBLE COMPANY WOULD SEE THIS AS A SAFETY CONCERN AND NOT A COINCIDENCE. I GUESS WE WILL SEE HOW BMW HANDLES BUT SINCE THEY NOW HAVE DOCUMENTED PROOF THAT THIS ISSUE AFFECTED A VEHICLE BUILT PRIOR TO JULY, I URGE THEM TO CHANGE THE RECALL DATE FROM JULY 2006 TO JUNE 2006. BESIDE ME WANTING MY CAR REPAIRS COVERED, THERE COULD BE OTHER 2006 VEHICLES BUILT MID-JUNE THAT WILL HAVE THIS ISSUE AND SEEING THE AMOUNT OF MELTING THIS DID TO MY CAR, IT COULD CAUSE A FIRE IN THE VEHICLE AND CAUSE HARM TO INNOCENT PEOPLE. I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE THE CAR TO A BMW DEALERSHIP FOR THEM TO CONFIRM THE FAILED/MELTED PCV VALVE. I WAS RECEIVING A IMAGINE ON THE ON BOARD COMPUTER SAYING THAT MY HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING. UPON INSPECTION INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT'S CASING, I SAW THAT ALL OF THE WIRING'S PROTECTION HAD COMPLETELY FELL OFF (PROBABLY DUE TO THE HUMID SOUTHERN CLIMATE OF NORTH TEXAS) LEAVING ALMOST ALL OF THE WIRING ON BOTH SIDES OF MY HEADLIGHTS (DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE) COMPLETELY EXPOSED. THE COPPER WIRING INSIDE IS ALMOST ALL EXPOSED. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS CAUSING THE HEADLIGHTS TO SHORT AND LEAVING ME WITH NO VISIBILITY WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THIS IS A MODEL WITHOUT ANGEL EYES, SO MY DRL DO NOT WORK WHAT SO EVER. THESE HEADLIGHTS ARE COMPLETELY STOCK, SO THIS IS A FACTORY FAULT. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS. THANKS BMW FOR THE "FANTASTIC" ENGINEERING! SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER A RECALL.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE GLOVE BOX DEPARTMENT CAUGHT ON FIRE.
I WAS SITTING IN CLASS WHEN A RECEIVED A CALL THAT MY CAR WAS ON FIRE AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS THERE TO PUT IT OUT. THEY OPENED MY CAR WITH MY KEYS AND PUT OUT THE FIRE AS I RUSHED BACK TO MY HOUSE TO MEET THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE DAMAGE IS UNKNOWN AT THIS POINT ALONG WITH HOW IT STARTED. THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN FOR TWO DAYS AND WAS PARKED ON THE STREET OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE. THE FIRE STARTED UNDER/IN MY ENGINE AND THEY LUCKILY GO THERE FAST ENOUGH WHERE THE ONLY VISIBLE DAMAGE WAS SOME MELTING WITHIN THE ENGINE. THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN GIVING ME ANY PROBLEMS PRIOR EXCEPT FOR GOING THROUGH OIL A LITTLE FASTER THAN NORMAL, BUT IT IS HIGH MILEAGE SO THAT IS NOT A HUGE CONCERN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 325I. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR TWO MILES TO RUN AN ERRAND, THE CONTACT RETURNED TO THE VEHICLE AND SMELLED BURNING PLASTIC. THE CONTACT OPENED THE HOOD AND SAW FLAMES ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE BLOCK BY THE FIREWALL. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT RECORDED THE EVENT AND TOOK PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT'S HAND WAS SLIGHTLY INJURED, BUT MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT RECEIVED. BMW OF LOUISVILLE (4 AUTOCENTER DR, LOUISVILLE, KY 40299, (502) 287-1501) TOWED THE VEHICLE AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY AN OIL LEAK AND POWER STEERING FLUID. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONTACT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER HAD AN INVESTIGATOR INSPECT THE VEHICLE WHO CONFIRMED WHAT THE DEALER STATED. IT TOOK THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER FIVE WEEKS TO COME UP WITH THEIR FINDINGS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,262.

THE CONTACT REACHED OUT TO UNION PARK BMW (1900 PENNSYLVANIA AVE, WILMINGTON, DE 19806, (302) 658-7245) SEVERAL TIMES PERTAINING TO THE FAILURES. A TECHNICIAN WAS SENT TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THERE WAS AN INTERNAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO POTENTIALLY STALL AND/OR CATCH ON FIRE. THE TECHNICIAN INDICATED THAT THE MICRO-FILTER NEEDED TO BE CHANGED, BUT THE PART WAS NOT REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 325I. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PLACED A BRIEFCASE WITH A LAPTOP ON THE SEAT AND THE SYSTEM WARNED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WAS OFF. THE WARNING INDICATOR FIRST ILLUMINATED IN FEBRUARY OF 2018 AND FLASHED ON AND OFF. CURRENTLY, THE AIR BAG INDICATOR REMAINED PERMANENTLY ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE CONTACT MUST PAY FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED RECEIVING TSB NUMBER: SIB-01-09-14 (PASSENGER AIR BAG SEAT OCCUPANCY SENSOR 063) LIMITED WARRANTY EXTENSION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
BMW 325CI 2006 FRONT LEFT ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT WIRING DETERIORATES OVER TIME. THIS CAUSE THE WIRING TO CRACK AND FAIL. THE FRONT LEFT HEADLIGHT FAILED WHILE DRIVING, CREATING A DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR THE DRIVER AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD. WHEN THE WIRING FAILS THE DRIVER CANNOT DISPLAY TURN SIGNALS, USE HIGH BEAMS OR ANY HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS. BMW DOES NOT PROVIDE A SOLUTION OR HELP TO FIX THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AT NIGHT WHEN THE HEADLIGHT FAILED. THE PART IS THE FRONT HEADLIGHT IGNITER WIRING HARNESS. THE FAILURE HAPPENED INSIDE A SEALED COMPARTMENT AND IS NOT EXPOSED TO ANY OUTSIDE ELEMENTS. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE, A GOOGLE SEARCH WILL BRING UP MULTIPLE OTHER CASES OF FAILURE IN OTHER CARS WITH PICTURES. BMW 335CI 2006 REAR TAIL LIGHTS SHORT OUT FREQUENTLY WHILE DRIVING AND DO NOT DISPLAY TURN SIGNALS. A FAULT IS SHOWN ON THE DASHBOARD. THIS HAPPENED AT NIGHT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND DOES NOT GO AWAY. THE WARNING LIGHT IS ONLY DISPLAYED AFTER THE TURN SIGNAL IS TURNED ON. BMW 325CI A FRONT AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT WAS DISPLAYED WHILE DRIVING AND DOES NOT SHUT OFF. THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND DOES NOT SHUT OFF. BMW325CI A FRONT SEATBELT WARNING LIGHT IS DISPLAYED ON THE DASH PERIODICALLY AND DOES NOT SHUT OFF. THE WARNING SUGGESTS THERE IS A FAILURE WITH THE SEATBELT. THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION.
FUEL LEAK COMING FROM THE FUEL FILTER / FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, LOCATED INSIDE THE FUEL TANK. THE PLASTIC COVER WHERE THE PRESURRED FUEL LINE IS CONNECTED CRACKS CAUSING THE FUEL TO LEAK. I NOTICED THE ISSUE DUE TO A STRONG FUEL SMELL COMMING FROM THE LEFT REAR OF THE VEHICLE. I FOLLOWED THE SMELL AND IT TOOK ME TO THE FUEL TANK ACCESS UNDER THE REAR SEAT ON THE LEFT (DRIVER) SIDE. THAT IS WHERE I NOTICED FUEL ACCUMULATION OUTSIDE THE TANK. THEN I PROCEED TO START THE ENGINE AND CLEARLY NOTICED THE FUEL LEAKING FROM AN SMALL CRACK ON THE FILTER (NOT THE FUEL LINE). I STARTED A RESEARCH ON THE SUBJECT AND I FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINS ABOUT THIS ISSUE INCLUDING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE ON MANY BMW MODELS. ALSO FOUND THERE IS AN ACTIVE SAFETY RECALL FOR SOME VW MODELS WITH THE SAME SITUATION. THE PARTS FROM BOTH VEHICLE BRANDS ARE PRETTY SIMILAR AND THE PARTS ARE FROM THE SAME SUPPLIER (VDO). I JUST NEED YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THIS AS A SAFETY CONCERN BEFORE VEHICLES START CATCHING FIRE. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER. IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, ON NOVEMBER 10, 2018, AT NIGHT I WAS DRIVING MY 2006 BMW 330CI CONVERTIBLE, AND WHEN UPON ENTERING AN ENTRANCE RAMP FROM TOMBALL PARKWAY ONTO BELTWAY 8, I SUDDENLY NOTICED A METAL POLE THAT WAS RESTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY, IN AN ATTEMPT TO AVOID IT I BRAKED AND WHEN THE CAR BECAME STATIONARY, THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT HITTING ANYTHING WITH MY FRONT BUMPER. MOREOVER, I STRONGLY BELIEVE RECALL 15V318000 AND RECALL 14V348000 THAT WERE INSTALLED AT MOMENTUM BMW ON MARCH 9, 2018 WERE DEFECTIVE MODULES OF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM, INCLUDING THE PROPELLANT IN THE AIRBAG INFLATOR BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHILE MY CAR WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP. IN ADDITION, I ALSO SUSPECT THAT THE DELAYED DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS DUE TO THE MALFUNCTION OF THE OCCUPANT-DETECTION SENSORS IN MY SPORT SEATS. TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, ON NOVEMBER 10, 2018, I WAS DRIVING MY 2006 BMW 330CI CONVERTIBLE, AND WHEN UPON ENTERING AT 40 MILES PER HOUR AN ENTRANCE RAMP FROM TOMBALL PARKWAY ONTO BELTWAY 8, I SUDDENLY NOTICED A METAL POLE THAT WAS RESTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY, IN AN ATTEMPT TO AVOID IT, I BRAKED AND WHEN THE CAR BECAME STATIONARY, THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS DID 'NOT' FULLY INFLATE WHICH SEEMED TO FUNCTION WITH A 'SAFETY-RELATED DEFECT.' MOREOVER, I STRONGLY BELIEVE RECALL 15V318000 AND RECALL 14V348000 THAT WERE INSTALLED AT MOMENTUM BMW ON MARCH 9, 2018 WHICH REPLACED MY TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS WITH ANOTHER SET OF TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS CONTAINED A 'SAFETY-RELATED DEFECT.' AS A CONSEQUENCE, I SUFFERED A CONCUSSION AND EYE-RELATED BODILY INJURIES FROM THE CRASH. IN ADDITION, ON DECEMBER 10, 2108, BMW OF NORTH AMERICA SENT AN ENGINEER TO HOUSTON, TEXAS TO INSPECT MY VEHICLE, BUT THE COMPANY WILL 'NOT' PROVIDE ME THE DATA ANALYSIS OF ITS FINDINGS, AND IT CLAIMS THAT THE COMPANY OWNS THAT PROPRIETARY DATA. MY VEHICLE IS CLEAR OF LIENS AND IS PAID-OFF. MOREOVER, ON JANUARY 10, 2019, THE COMPANY STATED IN A LETTER THAT THE TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS FULLY DEPLOYED; HOWEVER, THIS IS A FALSE STATEMENT BECAUSE THE TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS DID 'NOT' FULLY DEPLOY, AND MY PASSENGER AND I WERE SHOCKED OF THIS MALFUNCTION. AS OF TODAY, BMW OF NORTH AMERICA CONFIRMED THAT THE TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS WERE REPLACED WITH ANOTHER SET OF TAKATA RECALL AIRBAGS. WHY WERE THESE AIRBAGS NOT REPLACED WITH AN ALTERNATIVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER? IN CLOSING, CAN FEDERAL SAFETY OFFICIALS INSPECT MY VEHICLE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS BECAUSE BMW OF NORTH AMERICA IS 'HIDING' THE DATA ANALYSIS FROM ME? THERE ARE PIECES OF THE GLASS SITTING ON THE ROOF OF THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS FINE DEBRIS COVERING THE OUTSIDE PORTION OF THE GLASS, SHOWING THIS DID NOT OCCUR WHILE DRIVING OR FROM ANY EXTERNAL CAUSE. THE TEMPERATURE IS IN THE LOWER 90S AND NO ONE ELSE WAS HOME OR HAD ACCESS TO THE VEHICLE.

THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN A MAJOR RECALL FOR MOST 2006 326XI MODELS THAT NEEDS TO BE ALSO EXTENDES TO MY VEHICLE. IT IS OBVIOUSLY AN ISSUE ON OTHER MODELS, AND THE MANUFSCTURER NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS BEFORE PEOPLE ARE HARMED SINCE BY DEFAULT THE MODULE ASSUMES NOONE IS SITTING THERE AND WILL NOT DEPLOY.

I GOT IT BACK TO FIX ENGINE ISSUES AND THE DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK, EXCEPT THE DRIVERS SIDE, WHICH I CAN DO WITH THE KEY LOCK. OTHER THAN THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IN THE CAR THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE GOING IN DUKE STYLE THROUGH THE WINDOW OR THROUGH THE SUNROOF OR SOMETHING.
I JUST HAD MY 2006 BMW 330I REPAIRED DUE TO A STEERING WHEEL LOCK WARNING LIGHT WHICH APPEARED ON THE ODOMETER CAUSING MY CAR NOT TO START.THIS OCCURRED WHEN I WAS READY TO LEAVE THE PARKING LOT AT MY JOB. THE CAR WOULD NOT START AND THE RED STEERING WHEEL LOCK WARNING LIGHT WAS ON THE ODOMETER. THE SHOP REPLACED THE BATTERY AND IBS SENSOR CABLE. I DROVE THE CAR FOR ONE DAY WITHOUT ANY WARNING SIGNAL AND WHEN I ADJUSTED THE STEERING COLUMN BY RELEASING THE LEVER, THE YELLOW STEERING WHEEL LOCK WARNING LIGHT LIT UP ON THE ODOMETER. THE REPAIRS COST ME $1,391.82. THIS CAR ALSO WAS IN THE SHOP DUE TO A RECALL ON THE AIRBAG ON THE STEERING COLUMN. A LOCAL BMW DEALERSHIP REPLACED THIS PART TWO MONTHS BEFORE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK OCCURRED. WHAT OTHER PROBLEMS WILL I HAVE WITH THIS BMW SERIES? I BELIEVE BMW SHOULD REFUND MY MONEY FOR THESE REPAIRS.

DEALER INFORMED THAT THE MODULATOR CONTROLS DEPLOYMENT OF AIRBAGS AND THE DEFECTIVE MODULATOR COULD CAUSE AIRBAGS TO NOT DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, INCREASING RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY. THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES 30 SECONDS AFTER IGNITION INDICATING A DEFECT IN THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM.
