DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY AT 60MPH MY SUNROOF EXPLODED. NO CARS WERE IN FRONT OF MY VEHICLE RULING OUT A ROCK. IT WAS COUPLED WITH A LOUD NOISE AND GLASS FALLING INTO THE CAR AND DOWN THE BACK OF THE CAR.
Code is coming up for passenger seat occupancy sensor which possibly affects airbag deployment in the event of a collision. It has been noted that the passenger seat occupancy sensor has been a part of prior BMW for 2008 and earlier.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 BMW 3281. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE ABRUPTLY LOSS MOTIVE POWER AND STALLED. THE CONTACT SATED THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC THAT PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND FOUND THAT OIL HAD SPILLED ONTO THE ECCENTRIC SHAFT SENSOR AND CAUSED THE ENGINE TO FAIL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED A TSB-10076476-5448 ECCENTRIC SHAFT SENSOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000.
The contact owns a 2009 BMW 335I. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle independently entered limp mode with the service transmission warning message on the instrument panel. The contact restarted the vehicle and cleared all warning codes before he resumed normal driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not under recall. A DTC reader determined that the cause of the failure was related to a defective fuel pump. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

There was no damage to the residence from the flames. The fire department was contacted and arrived to extinguish the flames. A fire report was made. There was no injury sustained. The police arrived and started an investigating however, a police report was not filed. The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the Vin was not under recall. The vehicle was deemed a total loss by the fire department. The insurance provider was contacted and informed the contact that fire coverage was not included in his policy. The contact mentioned NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) as a possible solution to the failure however, the Vin was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000.

RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING AND SOMETIMES WHEN STATIONARY MY CAR'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED GOING HAYWIRE INCLUDING MY GAUGES AND THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AS WELL SOME OTHER SAFETY FEATURES WITH TTHE SEATBELT WERE DISABLED WITH & WITHOUT A PASSENGER IN THE CAR. I KEEP GETTING A WARNING SCREEN THAT TREAD AS FOLLOWS: "RESTRAINT SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. FAULT IN PASSENGER-RESTRAINT SYSTEM AFFECTING AIRBAG, BELT TENSIONER OR BELT-FORCE LIMITER. CONTINUE TO WEAR THE SAFETY BELT. HAVE THE SYSTEM CHECKED BY THE NEAREST BMW CENTER." AFTER LOOKING ONLINE IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM BUT FOR SOME REASON MY VIN ISN'T INCLUDED ON THE RECALL.

The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V119000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000.
PASS. SEAT MAT SENSOR MALFUNCTION IT CRACKS AND CAUSES A SAFTEY ISSUE WHERE IF THE CAR IS TO CRASH THE AIRBAG WOULD NOT GO OFF ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN MY CAR STARTED TO LOSE ACCELERATION. I COULD NOT ACCELERATE UP AN INCLINE. THEN I HEARD A RATTLING. THE NEXT EXIT WAS A REST STOP AND AS I WAS EXITING MY VEHICLE FAILED AND SHUT DOWN. I HAD NO POWER AT ALL. I COASTED TO A PARKING STALL AND TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AFTER PARKING IT SAFELY. WHEN I OPENED THE HOOD THE VEHICLE WAS NOT HOT OR SMOKING SO I TRIED TO START IT. THE CAR STARTED BUT WITH A VERY LOUD KNOCKING AND RATTLING SO I SHUT IT OFF AGAIN AND PHONED THE DEALERSHIP. I TOWED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP OVER 30 DAYS AGO AND HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY THEM NOT 1X. I HAVE CALLED WEEKLY TO NO AVAIL.
I'M JUST RECEIVING THE RECALL LETTER THIS APRIL 2022. I'VE CALLED BMW TWICE FOR THE REPAIR AND IT'S STILL UNAVAILABLE. I EXPERIENCED THE ISSUE ALREADY 2 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING MY CAR FROM CARMAXX IN JUNE 2020 BUT BELIEVED I HAD IT REPAIRED BY PUSCHASING A NEW RADIATOR, COILS, WATER PUMP AND THERMOSTAT. I WOULD LIKE FOR BMW TO CHECK AND CHANGE THE CORRECTED PART OUT. I WAS ON THE FREEWAY OUT OF TOWN WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SMOKE WITHOUT WARNING WITH ME COASTING IT OFF THE FREEWAY AND NOTHING POPPED UP ON SCREEN THEN HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED HOME.

SENSOR WARNING STATES PASSENGER AIRBAG AND PASSENGER SEATBELT IS NOT ON. *TR
IT STARTED HAPPENING HERE AND THERE, WHILE NO ONE IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, IT IS SAYING SEAT BELTS NEED TO BE ON AND AN AIRBAG LIGHT, AFTER A LITTLE WHILE OF DRIVING THE AIRBAG LIGHT SOMETIMES GOES OFF BUT SEAT BELT LIGHT WILL STAY ON. EVEN WHEN SOMEONE IS IN THE SEAT WITH THEIR SEAT BELT ON - BOTH OF THOSE LIGHTS ARE ON SEAT BELT AND AIRBAG. I'M SCARED IF I GET IN AN ACCIDENT THE AIRBAGS WONT DEPLOY. I'M ALSO SEEING I'M NOT THE ONLY BMW WITH THIS ISSUE. WHY IS THERE NO RECALL WHEN THIS CAN COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE. NO CARS AIRBAG SYSTEM SHOULD JUST GO.
The contact owns a 2009 BMW 328i. The contact stated upon starting the vehicle, she saw smoke coming out from underneath the hood of the vehicle. The check engine warning light, the brake warning light, and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that upon turning on the air conditioner, smoke would come inside the vehicle through the vents. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where an unknown repair was completed; however, the failure persisted. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V119000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. The failure mileage was unknown.
I BOUGHT A 2009 BMW 335I OFF OF A FRIEND OF MINE KNOWING THAT THE CAR DID INDEED HAVE FEW ISSUES BACK IN DECEMBER OF 2019. WHEN I HAD RECEIVED THE CAR THE BACK LEFT STRUT WAS OUT. I REPLACED ALL OF THEM INCLUDING THE BRAKES AS WELL AS PREFORMED A SIMPLE SERVICE. I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR A DIAGNOSIS FOR THE CAR NOT WANTING TO START PROPERLY TO BMW FOR A PROPER CHECK UP. I LEGIT GET TWO STARTS BEFORE HAVING TO LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE BEFORE I CAN START IT AGAIN. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE AFTER WHAT I THOUGHT COULD POSSIBLY BE A STARTER ISSUE. BUT IT WASNT, THE CAR DOESNT CRANK; IT CLICKS ALMOST AS IF IT WANTS TO TURN OVER AND RUN AS A SELF SUSTAINING MECHANISM. INSTEAD I MUST LET IT SIT FOR A COUPLE HOURS UNTIL I CAN YET AGAIN START IT BACK UP AND ITS FINE. THIS CAR HAS MADE ME SIT AND WAIT COUNTLESS TIMES AT FRIENDS HOUSES AND PUBLIC PLACES. BMW TOLD ME THAT IT IS THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL AND CABLE FROM THE START PORT THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO CORROSION. THEY SENT ME A FULL INSPECTION SUMMARY AS A VIDEO FOR ME TO SEE AND YES THAT RED CABLE DOESNT LOOK TO GOOD BEHIND THE WHEEL WELL LEADING TO THE BATTERY. OF COURSE I DID MY RESEARCH AND FOUND MANY OTHER BMW'S ALIKE HAVE THE SAME EXACT ISSUES. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET $3000 FOR A PIECE OF HARDWARE THAT IS BOND TO DECAY. THATS A HUGE OBLIGATION FOR MYSELF AND A LARGE SAFETY ISSUE FOR MANY OTHERS. THIS IS MY DAILY AND I DONT WANT TO RISK ANYTHING UPON MYSELF OR ANYONE ELSE THAT MAY OWN THIS SAME MODEL AND OR HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AGAIN. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. THE DATE FOR WHEN IT OCCURRED IS THE DATE BMW SENT AN INSPECTION VIDEO BACK FOR MYSELF TO VIEW.
VEHICLE NEEDS AN AIRBAG REPLACEMENT, AND TWO ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FIXED. ONE OF THOSE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS MAY LEAD TO THE CAR OVERHEATING WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND A FIRE HAZARD. *DT I HAVE CALLED THE BMW ROSEVILLE, CA DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY DO NOT ANSWER. I AM CONCERNED BECAUSE I COMMUTE FOR WORK AND I ALSO DRIVE AROUND MY PREGNANT WIFE AND MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER.*JB
THE SEAT MAT SENSOR IS ALSO DEFECTIVE IN THE 2009 MODEL YEAR. BMW HAS INCLUDED ONLY 2007 AND 2008. WE CANNOT PUT A CHILD OR ELDERLY IN THE FRONT SEAT AS THE AIRBAG WILL GO OFF.
WHEN A PASSENGER IS BELTED - WITH CAR RUNNING/DRIVING - AN ALARM COMES ON - BASICALLY NOT RECOGNIZING WHEN BELTED. ALSO THE INACTIVE AIRBAG LIGHT IS NOT ON. WHEN NO PASSENGER, THE CAR USED TO LIGHT UP THE 'AIRBAG NOT ACTIVE' - IT NO LONGER SHOWS THAT (LIGHT IS ALWAYS OFF) WHETHER PASSENGER THERE OR NOT.
FUEL PUMP LEAKING GASOLINE LEAVING A STRONG ODOR IN THE CAR AND FOOTWELL MODULE IS BAD

2009 BMW 335I. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO DEFECTIVE INDEX 9 FUEL INJECTORS. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE INDEX 9 FUEL INJECTORS WERE DISCONTINUED. ALL 6 FUEL INJECTORS HAD TO BE REPLACED WITH AN INDEX 12. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED TO BE REIMBURSED THE REPAIR COSTS. *JS *JS
I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE 2 IGNITION COILS IN LESS THAN A YEAR. #1. WAS TOLD BY WARRENTY CO THAT THERE IS ALSO A TSB (TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN) FROM BMW RECOGNIZING A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAND OF COILS (BOSCH) THAT WERE INSTALLED FROM THE FACTORY, & THEY WANT SHOPS TO REPLACE THEM WITH AN UPGRADED BRAND (DELPHI). THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM WITH THESE IGNITION COILS. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR CHANGING THEM OUT?
AIRBAG SYSTEM FAULT DUE TO OCCUPANCY SEAT SENSOR P/N 65779153119. THIS SENSOR IS USED ON BMW E90, E91, E92, E93 MODELS FROM 2006-2012. BMW RECALLED ONLY 2006 AND 2007 MODELS IN 2014( RECALL NOTICE 17V428) THEN REVISED IN 2017 TO INCLUDE MORE VEHICLES. IN ADDITION, THEY ISSUED A SB -10056703-9690 IN 2017 TO EXTEND WARRANTY TO 15 YEARS FOR THIS SENSOR. SINCE THE EXACT SENSOR IS FITTED ON VEHICLES FROM 2006-2012, AND NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS HAVE REPORTED THE FAULT, I BELIEVE MY E93 SHOULD BE COVERED IN THE RECALL OR THE 15 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY. BASED ON RESEARCH, MANY PEOPLE HAVE RESORTED TO A BYPASS DEVICE. THIS EXTINGUISHES THE FAULT BUT PRESENTS AN ISSUE IF THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER IS AN INFANT/ OR UNDER 40 POUNDS. AIRBAGS WILL DEPLOY IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT AND DEATH/ SERIOUS INJURY IS POSSIBLE.
THE BATTERY CONNECTIONS IN THE REAR COMPARTMENT HAVE COMPLETELY CORRODED. MY MECHANIC HAS TOLD ME THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH MANY BMW SERIES NOT JUST THE 3 SERIES. WATER SEEPAGE APPEARS TO BE A SPECIFIC PROBLEM WITH FAILURES TO RUBBER GASKETS IN THE TRUNK/REAR LIGHTS IN THIS CONVERTIBLE. THE REPAIR IS $2,000.00 AS THE ENTIRE CABLE SYSTEM MUST BE REPLACED TO THE ENGINE AN 11 HOUR JOB. THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE BUT NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM A CAR THAT HAS BEEN GARAGED ITS ENTIRE LIFE. THIS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS MANY CONSUMERS ARE PAYING AN ENORMOUS BILL DUE TO BAD DESIGN, WORKMANSHIP AND ENGINEERING. THE DX OCCURRED AFTER MUCH INVESTIGATION AND THE INABILITY TO START THE CAR FOR 2 WEEKS AFTER $300.00 WORTH OF REPAIRS (NEW BATTERY, STARTER, RELAY SWITCH) THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT WE WERE LUCKY THERE WAS NOT A FIRE AS THE BOTH MAIN CABLES WERE ARCING AT THE CONNECTION POINT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 BMW 328I. WHILE DRIVING 68 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE "MALFUNCTION IN DRIVE" AND "MALFUNCTION IN TRANSMISSION" WARNING MESSAGES DISPLAYED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHCLE ONTO THE ROAD SHOULDER AND APPLIED THE PARKING BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED, BUT CONTINUED TO STALL. THE CONTACT'S FAMILY MEMBER REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V044000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 BMW 328I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. WHILE DRIVING 55 TO 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC CAME OUT TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AND WAS ABLE TO START THE ENGINE. THE MECHANIC LOCATED A LEAK AT THE TOP OF THE RADIATOR HOSE. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE RADIATOR HOSE, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED ON JULY 20, 2019 WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO LONG BEACH BMW (1660 EAST SPRING STREET, SIGNAL HILL, CA 90755, (562-427-5494) TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. THE RESULTS OF THE TEST WERE UNKNOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
WE PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE, MY HUSBAND HAD HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND THE CAR SURGED UP A CURB, HIT A SIGN AND THEN HIT A LAMP POST AND THE CAR WENT UP THE CEMENT BLOCK. I DON'T REMEMBER MUCH MORE, BUT THER INSURANCE TOTALED THE CAR AND I SUFFERED FROM BRAIN TRAUMA AND 3 BACK DISKS.
THE VEHICLE'S WIRING HARNESS WITHIN THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING ARE EXPOSED, IT NO LONGER HAS THE RUBBER COATING THAT SURROUNDS THE WIRES.I AFRAID THIS COULD CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT OR FIRE!

The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V676000 (Electrical System) however, upon picking up the vehicle and driving 25 MPH, the air bag warning light illuminated and the vehicle started making abnormal beeping sounds. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who informed the contact that he needed to purchase the parts to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The contact stated that the beeping sounds would stop and the air bag warning light turned off whenever he buckled the front passenger seat belt. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 95,911.
4 MONTHS AGO MY CAR STOPPED SUDDENLY MECHANIC CHANGED FUEL PUMP , COUPLE WEEKS AFTER THAT IT HAPPENS AGAIN I TOOK IT BACK AND THE MECHANIC SAID EVERYTHING IS OK , I WENT HOME AND TODAY I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED AGAIN, I WAS SO SCARED I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF YOU GOING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM
RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAULTY WARNING CAME ON
AFTER A PERSONAL INVESTIGATION INTO THIS ISSUE, BMW SEEMS TO STILL DENY THAT MY MODEL HAS THE SAME ISSUES DESCRIBED IN THE RECALL. "RESTRAINT SYSTEM MALFUNCTION!" APPEARS ON THE CAR EVERY 20 SECONDS FRIGHTING DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS THE AIRBAGS AND SEATBELTS MIGHT NOT WORK. THIS IS AN AMERICAN CAR CURENTLY IN CANADA.
RIGHT REAR TURN SIGNAL MALFUNCTIONING
THE TRANSMISSION HAS A STUTTERING IN IT FROM 20 TO AROUND 50 MPH, IT HAPPENS WHETHER YOU'RE SLOWING DOWN OR AT A STAND STILL AT A RED LIGHT.
THE SEAT AIR BAG SENSOR MAT HAS FAILED THE AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON.THE 2006 TO 2008 MODELS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM BUT NOT THE 2009.THOS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE AIR BAG WILL NOT DEPLOY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WITH A FAULTY SENSOR.CONTACTED BMW WILL NOT REPAIR UNLESS YOU PAY FULL PRICE.THIS IS A JOKE BECAUSE THE REPAIR IS 1500 DOLLARS OR MORE, THE CAR ONLY HAS 77000 MILES AND HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF. A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED BECAUSE THIS A SERIOUS AND COMMON PROBLEM WHICH IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR AND IS A HORRIBLE DESIGN.

BLOWER MOTOR WIRING CAUGHT FIRE AND SPREAD THROUGHOUT REMAINDER OF CAR. INITIALLY SAW SMOKE COMING FROM VENTS WHILE VEHICLE WAS COMING TO A STOP IN A STAPLES PARKING LOT. FIRE SPREAD INTO ENGINE AND INTERIOR OF CAR, BURNING MY HAND AND BRINGING CAR TO A TOTAL LOSS. EXISTING RECALL NUMBER: 17V-676
TAKATA RECALL-I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR THE AIRBAG RECALL AND THE BMW OF SOUTH ATLANTA REPAIRED THE DRIVER SEAT-I THINK. WHEN I LEFT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF LIGHT WAS ON AND I ASKED ABOUT IT THE TECH SAID IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT YOU DON'T WANT TO SCHRAPNEL TO HIT THE PASSENGER. FROM THEN ON THE SEAT BELT SIGN STAYED ON EVEN WHEN SOMEONE WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT WITH THEIR SEAT BELT ON. I TOOK MY CAR BACK IN LAST WEEK FOR THE WARNING LIGHT AND WAS TOLD IT IS A SEAT SENSOR AND WOULD COST $1,400.00. DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE AIRBAG RECALL? IF THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND IS A FAULTY PART WITH BMW THEN WHY AREN'T THEY RECALLING AND REPAIRING?

I TOOK MY CAR TO A BMW DEALERSHIP IN CANNONSBURG, PA. HAD NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER DROPPING IT OFF. I HAD DRIVEN 3 HOURS TO GET TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE RECALL. BY THE END OF THE DAY I RECEIVED A CALL TELLING ME MY CAR WAS OVER HEATING AND NOT DRIVABLE. HOW IS THAT MY RESPONSIBILITY? WHEN OBVIOUSLY I DROVE IT A LONG DISTANCE TO GET 3 RECALLS TAKEN CARE OF. I WAS TOLD THE WATER PUMP, I THINK WAS NOT WORKING? IT WAS WORKING WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF? IF IT WAS OVERHEATING I COULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT. PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT OUR TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I NEED MY CAR AND I'M REGRETTING TAKING IT IN FOR A RECALL NOW.
MY CAR HAS BEEN HAVING SERIOUS ISSUES. OVER HEATING, SMOKING UNCONTROLLABLY,UNABLE TO USE AIR/ HEAT CONDITIONING DUE TO TOXIC SMOKE COMING THROUGH VENT. LIGHTS SIGNAL, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, AND BRAKE LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF. I FEAR FOR MY LIFE AND HAVE BEEN CAR PULLING DUE TO MY CAR ISSUES. I FEEL AS THOUGH, MY CAR IS AT RISK OF CATCHING ON FIRE. THE CAR HAS EVEN SHUT OFF 5 TIMES DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE SMOKE. IN WAS TOLD BY MECHANIC THAT I WOULD ONLY NEED TO PRESSURE WASH THE ENGINE AND IT SHOULD BE FINE. I HAVE HAD TO PULL OVER BY THE HIGHWAY. I HAVE WASTED SEVERAL DOLLARS DUE TO THIS MATTER WITH MY CAR. ITS PAINS ME DEEPLY THAT I'M HAVING THESE ISSUES WITH MY CAR. I HAVE WORKED VERY HARD TO GET IT. I'M AT A LOSS FOR WORDS WITH THIS MATTER.

TAKATA RECALL FAULTY AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT DURING MINOR ACCIDENT CAUSING NO DAMAGE TO VEHICLE. IMPACT OCCURED FROM FRONT OF VEHICLE AND AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AFTER VEHICLE WAS AT COMPLETE STOP AFTER ACCIDENT CAUSING NOSE DAMAGE AND BURN AND BRUISE ON LEFT ARM. IRREGULAR DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAGS BECAUSE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG AS WELL AS THE STEERING WHEEL AIR BAG DEPLOYED. NO ONE WAS SEATED ON PASSENGER SIDE AND THE DRIVER SIDE VEHICLE SIDE AIRBAG WHERE I WAS SEATED DID NOT DEPLOY.
FUEL INJECTORS BEGAN LEAKING AND HAVE BECOME FAULTY CAUSING MIS-FIRING. BMW HAD A SIMILAR RECALL INVOLVING CARS WITH THE SAME MODEL YEAR AND ENGINE AS MY CAR BUT HAS REFUSED TO CLAIM IT WAS ALSO INVOLVED IN THE RECALL.
