HEADLIGHT WIRE INSULATION FLAKING OFF AND WIRES ARE SHORTING CAUSING HEADLIGHT TO GO OFF. WIRES SHORT AND ARCING. THE HEADLIGHT WENT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT NIGHT.
ALL WIRING WITHIN THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY IS DETERIORATING AND EXPOSING THE BARE WIRING INTERNAL OF THE ASSEMBLY. THIS IS CAUSING ELECTRICAL SHORTING, ELECTRICAL FAULT CODES, AND OCCASIONAL PERIODS OF INOPERATIVE HEADLIGHTS WHILE DRIVING. THE WIRING ISSUE WAS FIRST NOTED BY MY MECHANIC AROUND FEBRUARY 2019. I HAVE FOUND THRU MY RESEARCH FOR REPAIRS THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE WITH SPEED LIMIT 70 MPH, A WARNING MESSAGE APPEARED TRANSMISSION FAILURE & REDUCE SPEED. THE CAR SLOWED DOWN ITSELF WHILE ONGOING TRAFFIC APPROACHED EXTREMELY FAST. MY CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE TO THE 5TH OR 6TH GEAR. I HAD TO I GET OFF THE INTERSTATE AS QUICKLY AS I COULD. IN A PANIC I CALLED AAA TO TOW MY CAR. THINKING THERE WAS TRULY SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY TRANSMISSION, ALTHOUGH I KEPT UP WITH MAINTENANCE. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS MESSAGE THAT POPPED UP WAS INCORRECT. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY TRANSMISSION.
AFTER A RECENT HEAVY RAIN THE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL DASHBOARD INSTRUMENTS WERE ERRATIC, THE REAR HATCH OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM FAILED, AND ULTIMATELY THE REAR AIR SUSPENSION FAILED WITH THE CAR SITTING ON THE REAR BOTTOMING STOPS CAUSING DIFFICULTY IN CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE SEVERE BOUNCING. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVELED STANDING WATER IN THE SPARE TIRE AND BATTERY/ELECTRICAL AREAS AT THE REAR OF THE CAR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 530I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP WAS LEAKING OIL INTO THE POWER BRAKE BOOSTER. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS COMPLETED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO SPECIALIZED IN BMW VEHICLES. THE DEALER (GLOBAL IMPORTS BMW, 500 INTERSTATE N PKWY, ATLANTA, GA 30339, (800) 294-1853) WAS CALLED AND THE CONTACT WAS WAITING TO HEAR BACK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.

I HAVE A BAD BATTERY AND THE STERING WHEEL LOCKS NOW I CANT START MY CAR.
PASSENGER AIR BAG RESTRAINT LIGHT IS ACTIVATED.
MY COMPUTER IS SHOWING : PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAILURE. I CALLED THE BMW RECALL SYSTEM AND I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR IS NOT COVERED, HOWEVER, I FOUND BMW RECALL OF THE PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR E60 (MY MODEL CAR) CAN YOU HELP AND CONTACT THE BMW RECALL CENTER. THEY NEED TO EXPAND THEIR RECALL. IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE A CAR WITH FAILED PASSENGER RESTRAINED SYSTEM. I DID SUBMIT THE INFORMATION REGARDING CURRENT RECALL IN ATTACHMENT
I RECENTLY STARTED GETTING PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM WARNING MESSAGE APPEARING. AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE, I DISCOVERED 2006 525I VEHICLES HAVE A RECALL ON THE SAME ISSUE. HOWEVER WHEN I CONTACTED BMW, I WAS TOLD BASED ON VIN NUMBER MY VEHICLE IS NOT UNDER ANY RECALL EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SAME ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLES UNDER RECALL AND REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V428000 (AIR BAGS). CURRENTLY, THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS HARM TO THE PASSENGER IF INVOLVED IN ANY TYPE OF ACCIDENT, THEREFORE, MY VEHICLE SHOULD BE PART OF THE RECALL.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND MY TRANSMISSION HAS AN ISSUE AS IF IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AFTER RESEARCH I FOUND OUT THAT MECHATRONICS AND OTHER COMPONENTS TO BE AN ISSUE FOR INSTANCE IF YOUR TRYING TO PASS YOUR CAR STALLS AND SAYS TRANSMISSION FAILURE AFTER SHUTOFF MESSAGE DISAPPEARS CAR WILL GO IN LIMP MODE AND CAR STARTS OUT IN 2ND GEAR INSTEAD OF 1ST AND 1ST GEAR WILL ALSO LOCK ITSELF.....THIS IS DANGEROUS FOR A SUPPOSED HIGH END WELL BUILT PERFORMANCE VEHICLE. TRANNY HAS NO ISSUES COMPUTER DOES THAT CAUSES SHUTTER AND STALL LIMP MODE NEARLY COULD HAVE DIED

I'M CONFUSED AND UPSET ON HOW BMW CAN RISK SUCH A SAFETY ISSUE BY NOT INCLUDING ALL AFFECTED BY THIS ESPECIALLY MY YEAR AND MODEL CLASS BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUSLY AN ISSUE WE ALL ARE HAVING AROUND THE SAME EXACT TIME. WARNING LIGHT PASS. RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAULT IN PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM AFFECTING AIRBAG BELT TENSIONER ETC
I RECENTLY STARTED GETTING PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM WARNING MESSAGE APPEARING. AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE, I DISCOVERED 2006 525I VEHICLES HAVE RECALL ON THE SAME ISSUE. HOWEVER WHEN I CONTACTED BMW, I WAS TOLD BASED ON VIN NUMBER MY VEHICLE IS NOT UNDER ANY RECALL EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SAME ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLES UNDER RECALL. AS IS, THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS HARM TO THE PASSENGER, THEREFORE MY VEHICLE SHOULD BE PART OF THE RECALL.
WE RECEANTLY PURCHASED A USED BMW 525 I. AND IT SUDDENLY CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE MY SON CAME TO A STOP. HE BARLEY EXCAPED WITH HIS LIFE. THE WHOLE CAR WAS UP IN FLAMES. WE DONT KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM BUT IT WAS THE WORST THING THAT I SEEN. THANK GOD HE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE WHEN HE DID. WE NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HIS SAFETY IN THIS VEHICLE, BEING ONE OF THE TOP OF THE LINE VEHICLES!
BECAUSE OF POOR QUALITY OF FIBER OPTICS WIRING USED ON THE HEADLIGHT THEY TEND DRY ROT RESULTING IN A BURNT OUT HEADLIGHT. WHICH CAN BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD.
PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR FAULTY, AIRBAG DISABLED. FAULTS ARE SHOWING, AND WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER AND BMW USA, BOTH ACKNOWLEDGE AN ISSUE BUT INSIST MY CAR IS NOT COVERED. THE VIN IS NOT ON THEIR ROSTER. BMW RECALLED 200,000 CARS FOR THIS PROBLEM, IN THE SAME YEAR AND MODEL. I NOW HAVE THE ISSUE, AND IT IS A CLEAR SAFETY CONCERN FOR ANY WHO MIGHT RIDE IN THE CAR.
TAKATA SEAT BELTS ISSUE WITH FRONT PASSENGER SIDE.
WAS DROPPING OFF A PASSENGER AND WHEN I PARKED ON A CITY STREET .HE TOOK HIS SEATBELT OFF AND OPENED THE PASSENGER DOOR . WHEN HE GOT OFF THE SEAT I NOTICED TWO LIGHTS COME ON IN THE DASHBOARD . THEN THE NOTIFICATION CAME UP ON MY MENU SCREEN DISPLAYING RESTRAINT AUSTEN MALFUNCTION . I'VE LOOKED UP MY 2006 BMW 525I TO NOTICE IT HAPPENING TO ALLOT OF THE SAME YEAR MAKE AND MODEL AS MINE.
MY 2006 BMW HAS AN AIRBAG LIGHT ON I BROUGHT IT TO A DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT'S THE PASSENGER SIDE OCCUPANCY MAT IN THE SEAT I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FOR A RECALL MY YEAR MAKE AND MODEL BUT WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID THAT I'M NOT PART OF THAT RECALL I WOULD LIKE TO GET FURTHER EXPLANATION OF WHY OTHER YEAR MAKE AND MODEL THE SAME AS MINE IS UNDER WARRANTY AND I'M HAVING THAT PROBLEM AND IT WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED FOR IF I HAVE MY SON IN THE PASSENGER SEAT IN THE AIRBAG DOES NOT GO OFF AND HE DIES HIS BMW RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT
I'VE BEEN TOLD BY TWO EUROPEAN CAR REPAIR COMPANIES THAT 2006 BMWS ARE FREQUENTLY NEEDING THE AIRBAG CONTROL MODULAR REPLACED. THERE IS AN INTERNAL ERROR ON THE AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT- CODE 93D7. THIS PART HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED, AND BECAUSE OF THE EXORBITANT PRICE, I WAS TOLD THAT MANY DRIVERS CHOOSE TO DISCONNECT THE AIRBAGS. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! IS BMW REPORTING THIS ISSUE? I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND THEY SEEMED COMPLETELY UNINTERESTED AND/OR UNWILLING TO DOCUMENT MY COMPLAINT. MY VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AT THE TIME THE WARNING WAS DISPLAYED.
COMPUTER DRAWING DOWN BATTERY AND CAR WILL NOT START SEEMS TO HAPPEN MORE WHEN IT'S DAMP AND RAINING THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON BMW WOULD LIKE $2500. TO REBOOT COMPUTER I THINK ITS A SCAM
THE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON IN MY VEHICLE SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN NOVEMBER 2016. DURING MY STATE INSPECTION IN OCTOBER 2017, MY MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THE OPERATION OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND IT CANNOT TELL WHEN TO DEPLOY AIRBAGS IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. I BELIEVE THIS PROBLEM HAS ALREADY BEEN IDENTIFIED IN A A RECALL APPLICABLE TO THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR AS MY VEHICLE (RECALL 17V-428) BUT MY VIN IS NOT SHOWING UP AS ONE OF THE VEHICLES DETECTED.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL DEALER (BMW OF BROOKLYN, 622 2ND AVE, BROOKLYN, NY 11220) TO BE REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V4728000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED AND THE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED; HOWEVER, DUE TO DEALER ERROR, THE AIR BAGS WERE DISABLED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO CALL ANOTHER DEALER. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
THERE IS FUEL LEAKING FROM THE MAIN FUEL LINE TO THE FUEL RAIL. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS UPON RESEARCH I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH MY MODEL WHICH EXPLAINS WHY BMW'S CATCH FIRE. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THEY FIX THIS PROBLEM?
THE CAR SUFFERED A FAILURE OF THE "FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANCY SENSOR MAT". A RECALL(13V-564:) WAS ISSUED FOR THIS MODEL BEGINNING WITH CAR MANUFACTURED AFTER DEC 1, 2005. MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED BEFORE THIS DATE, ON 9/3/200, AND THEREFORE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE ISSUE I AM HAVING IS THE EXACT ISSUE IN THE RECALL. HAVE ANY OTHER OWNERS OF PRE-DEC 1, 2005, MANUFACTURE CARS REPORTED SIMILAR ISSUES? OTHER RECALLS OF THE SAME ISSUE ARE 17V-428 AND 08V-384
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 530XI. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS HAVING THE BATTERY CHANGED AT THE LOCAL DEALER, THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER (EAST BAY BMW, 4350 ROSEWOOD DRIVE, PLEASANTON, CA 94588) DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION MAT FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V428000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,000.
BRAKES ARE NOT WORKING (STALLING) AFTER FULLY STOPPING AND REAPLYING BRAKE AT A LOWER SPEED. BRAKE PADEL IS BECOMING VERY HARD AND EVEN WITH ALL FOOT FORCE BRAKE PADEL IS NOT BEING DEPRESSED. I HAD MY KIDS IN THE CAR WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I READ IT ONLINE SIMILAR PROBLEM ACCURED IN OTHER BMW MODEL AND RECALL BULLETIN WAS ISSUED. THIS ISSUE IS VERY SERIOUS AND I'M WILLING TO LET INVESTIGATORS CHECK MY VEHICLE IF THEY WISH TO CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM. ENGINE OIL FROM THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP MAY ENTER THE BRAKE VACUUM LINE, POSSIBLY ALLOWING OIL TO ENTER THE BRAKE BOOSTER. IF ENGINE OIL ENTERS THE BRAKE BOOSTER, IT MAY DAMAGE THE INTERNAL RUBBER MEMBRANE, CAUSING IT TO DEVELOP LEAKS AND POSSIBLY IMPAIR THE BRAKE POWER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM. THE BRAKES WILL THEN ONLY FUNCTION WITH INCREASED BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE.
MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG FAULT LIGHT WENT ON. THR DEALER , BMW OF CHARLOTTESVILLE REPLACED THE FAULTY PASSEBGER SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTION MAT AT A COST OF $867.05. I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM YOU AND YET MY VIN NUMBER DOES NOT SHOW UP. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS TO ME? IT LOOKS LIKE I SHOULD BE COVERD GIVEN THE MODEL YEAR AND GIVEN THAT MY CAR CLEARLY HAD THE DEFECT. IT APPEARS MY VEHICLE SHOULD BE COVERED AND THST BMW SHOULD REIMBURDE ME.

LAST JULY 2017 MY PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG/SEATBELT WARNING LIGHT WAS ON AND CAUSE WAS FAULTY PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTION MAT. . IT WAS REPLACED AT THE CHARLOTTESVILLE BMW DEALER ON JULY 18 2017 FOR $867.05. YET THIS 2006 MODEL IS SPECIFICALLY THE MODEL WITH THE DEFECT AND IN THE RECALL. MY VIN IS NOT SHOWING THAT I AM ELIGIBLE FOR A RECALL, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS, AS OBVIOUSLY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED, SINCE THIS IS THE SPECIFIC DEFECT FOR WHICH THE RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED, AND THIS IS THE SPECIFIC YEAR AND MODE BMW WHICH HAS THE DEFECT APPEARING. BROKEN HEAD BOLTS AT 85K MILES IN NORMAL USE

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BMW OF HOUSTON NORTH IN HOUSTON, TX WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER DETECTION MAT WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V428000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 158,000.
I HAVE AIRBAG LIGHT AND MOST ARE RECALLS ON SAME MODEM . MY CAR DIDN’T GET A RECALL
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 530I. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT MENTION ANY RECALLS FOR THE AIR BAG FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTION MAT HAD TO BE REPLACED AS IT WAS DEFECTIVE. THOUGH NOT IN PREVIOUS RECALLS IN SIMILAR BMWS AND SIMILAR YEARS, THE ERROR PRESENTED A SAFETY ISSUE THAT WOULD DISABLE THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAGS AND INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY DURING A CRASH. WITH THIS ERROR, I WAS FORCED TO REPAIR THE SEAT MAT AND EXPENDED $1.5K TO REMEDY THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THIS SEAT MAT ISSUE IS A KNOWN BMW PROBLEM THAT BMW AND NHTSA HAVE NOT ADDRESSED. VIN: [XXX]. MY BMW APPEARS TO THE HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR, BUT THE VIN ISN'T INCLUDE IN THE RECALL LIST. KINDLY REQUEST RECALL, AS THE VEHICLE HASN'T BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, BUT PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT REMAINS ON.
HEAD LIGHTS ANGLE LIGHTS WIRES GETTING VERY DRY FROM THE HEAT OF THE LIGHT AND THE INSULATION COMING OFF THE OPTICAL WIRES, LIGHTS GO OUT, POSSIBLE SHORTING AND BECOME VERY UNSAFE.
WHILE DRIVING ON A STRAIGHTAWAY ON THE EXPRESSWAY WITH A PASSENGER WHO WAS ADJUSTING THE SEAT, WE HEARD A LOUD BANG LIKE A ROCK HITTING THE GLASS, BUT THE NOISE WAS IN THE CAR AND SEEMED TO COME FROM UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, MY DASHBOARD LIGHT SUDDENLY INDICATED THAT MY PASSENGER AIR BAG HAS MALFUNCTIONED.
MY BMW WAS PARKED OUTSIDE A RESTAURANT IN OVERLAND PARK, KS, AT LUNCH TIME ON MARCH 7, 2017. AUTO WAS LOCKED AND ALL WINDOWS AND SKYLIGHT WERE CLOSED. WHEN I RETURNED TO MY CAR AFTER LUNCH, THE CAR WAS UNLOCKED AND ALL WINDOWS AND SKYLIGHT WERE OPEN. THE KEY WAS IN MY PURSE AND WAS UNTOUCHED. POSSIBLE THEFT ATTEMPT?
THE WIRING HARNESS INSIDE THE HEADLIGHTS IS CRUMBLING AWAY CAUSING LIGHTS TO INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORK. THE WIRES SPARK WHEN THEY TOUCH TOGETHER. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SCHOMP BMW (1190 PLUM VALLEY LN, HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO 80129) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG SEAT MAP OCCUPANT LIGHT WAS NOT WORKING. THE IDRIVE NAVIGATION SCREEN GOES OUT AND KEEPS FLASHING. AT NIGHT IT'S A BIG DISTRACTION - AS IF A FLASHLIGHT HITS YOUR PERIPHERAL VISION INTERMITTENTLY. THERE ARE MANY WHO HAVE FACED THIS ISSUE OR ARE FACING THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN MY VIEW. I THINK IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT WE, AMERICANS HAVE A SHARP BITE AS FAR AS FOREIGN CAR MAKERS CREATE EXPENSIVE REPAIRS DUE TO ITS OWN FAILURES. THE MAIN ISSUE IS THAT IDRIVE CONTROL - AC - RADIO - NAVIGATION AND VERY IMPORTANTLY HEAT AND WARNING MESSAGES. WITHOUT IT WORKING YOU CAN'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG UP TO A GREATER EXTENT. MOST OF THE CARS IMPORTANT ASPECTS ARE CONTROLLED BY THIS COMPUTER BASED SYSTEM.
THE BRAKE LINES RUSTED THROUGH AND LOST FLUID VERY QUICKLY AS I WAS DRIVING. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO A GARAGE, DRIVING VERY CAREFULLY. WHY ARE THE BRAKE LINES MADE OF A MATERIAL WHICH RUSTS? THE GARAGE TOLD ME THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE UNTIL THE BRAKE LINES WERE REPLACED. THE COST WAS $491.88.

THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS NOT ABLE TO START WITHOUT RECEIVING A JUMP. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRES CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY WERE BURNED. THE CONTACT STATED THEY WOULD TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
MY CAR HAS BEEN LEAKING ENGINE OIL FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS. AFTER I HAD IT CHECKED, I WAS TOLD THAT ONE BOLT ON THE ENGINE WAS BROKEN. I FOUND THAT THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED COMMON. I THINK BMW SHOULD SOLVE THIS PROBLEM THROUGH RECALL, BECAUSE THIS PROBLEM IS A MANUFACTURE DEFECT.

I HAVE A 2006 BMW 525I AND RECEIVING PASS. RESTAINT SYSTEM MALFUNCTION AFFECTING THE AIRBAG. THIS IS A PROBLEM BMW SHOULD SERVICE AS THEY ARE FAMOUS FOR THESE MALFUNCTIONS. IT IS DANGEROUS AND ITS RUINS THE INTEGRITY OF THE VEHICLE.
