1.Passenger airbag- warning light gives me a daily message to service the airbag. I worry about whether the airbag will deploy at any moment or may not deploy if an accident occurs as I travel with my children daily. 2.Power steering- My power steering locked as I was driving 2 years ago. The auto shop has replaced/repaired the power steering system multiple times, however steering continues to whine and rub. 3.Trunk liftgate- The liftgate has abruptly lowered as my children and I have tried to get items in and out of the back. This resulted in one of them getting hit in the head. The back liftgate button has stopped engaging.
MY VEHICLE RANDOMLY OPENS THE LIFT GATE WHEN IT IS IN PARK. THIS HAPPENS BOTH WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING AS WELL AS WHEN IT IS NOT. I CAME OUT OF THE BANK AND MY TAILGATE WAS OPEN. I TURNED IT OFF AT THE SWITCH INSIDE THE CAR. IT STILL ATTEMPTS TO OPEN WHEN I AM IN PARK. I HAVE TO LOCK ALL THE DOORS TO KEEP IT CLOSED.
THE CAR WAS SPITTING D SPUTTER AND OVERHEATING ON THE MAIN HIGHTWAY... ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING A D IT SHOWED MISFIRES ON CYLINDERS 2,4,6.... THE PROBLEM IS ON GOING AND HAS HAD MY 2 YEAR OLD AND MYSELF SITTING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN 110 DEGREE HEAT INDEX WAITING ON A TOW TRUCK!. WE WERE DRIVING STRAIGHT DOWN THE MAIN HIGHWAY. THEN THE ACCELERATOR WOULD BE FLOORED BUT THE VEHICLE WOULDNT MOVE AT ALL. THUS I COULDNT CROSS THE LAST MAIN HIGHWAY TO GET HOME. IT SAID SERVICE STABILTRACT/ TRACTION CONTROL, WITH WNGINE LIGHT FLASHING... STILL ISNT FIXED
WE WHERE DRIVING THE OTHER DAY, LOST ALL POWER TO DASH CLUSTER. FOUND WATER IN FUSES UNDER GLOVE BOX ON PASSENGER SIDE. DRIED OUT AND GOT POWER BACK; BUT NOT ABS LIGHT IS ON AND IF IT GOES OFF WE LOSE ALL BRAKES. THE TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILITRAK SAY SERVICE AND WE LOST OUR BACK UP CAMERA AS WELL.
WAVE PLATE FAILURE AT 80 MPH (LEGAL SPEED IN SD). FORTUNATELY NO ACCIDENT OR INJURIES - IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE! TOW TRUCK DRIVER SAID THIS IS A COMMON GM TRANSMISSION ISSUE. APPARENTLY A KNOWN DEFECT AS GM ISSUED SPECIAL COVERAGE FOR THE VEHICLE TO 120,000 MILES OR 10 YEARS. THIS VEHICLE IS AT 11 YEARS, 2 MONTHS, BUT ONLY 55,128 MILES. MOST DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE AND WIDESPREAD ENOUGH THAT THESE VEHICLES SHOULD BE RECALLED.
CHECK AIR BAG MONITOR KEEPS COMING ON
THE POWER STEERING FAILS ON TURNS WITH NO WARNING. FROM WHAT I READ THIS IS COMMON ON BUICK ENCLAVES. I WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT FROM THE POWER STEERING FAILURE. ONCE I WAS ON A 55 MPH HIGHWAY CHANGING LANES WHEN IT FAILED, THE REST ARE USUALLY WHEN TURNING. MY MECHANIC SAID THE POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDS REPLACEMENT. *TR

THIS SUV IS THE DEVIL IT SELF. IS GIVING ME ALL KIND OF PROBLEM RIGHT NOW IT HAVE A LIMP MODE AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT WORKING IN ANY GEAR. THE SOFT CODES SAID P0171, P 0174, P 0420, P 0300 IS CRAZY. I HAVE CHANGE THE ALTERNADOR, THE PURGE VALVE, THE VALVE CANISTER ON TOP OF THE GAS TANK AND THE OTHER SENSOR THAT TELL YOU ABOUT THE FUMES OF THE TANK WENT FILLING. I ALSO CHANGE THE PCV VALVE ALL THE BREATHERS HOSES IN THE INTAKE HOUSING , I CHANGE THE TROUTLE BODY, THE SPARK PLUGS, THE COILS, THE INTAKE GASKETS, THE OXIGENTS SENSORS,THE BATERY POLES. AND THIS SUV STILL GIVING ME PROBLEMS NOW IT WENT TO A TRANSMISSION LIMP MODE AND IS NOT COMING OUT NOT EVEN IF YOU ERASE THE CODES AND ALL FUSES ARE GOOD.
OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON FIRST, THEN HEARD LOUD TAPPING NOISE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. PULLED OVER CHECKED THE OIL (FRESH OIL CHANGE THE DAY BEFORE) IT WAS STILL FULL. GOT THE VEHICLE HOME AND HAD THE CODES PULLED. THE DREADED TIMING CHAIN CODES OF P0008 AND P0017 AT 128,000 MILES ON THE CAR. MOST SHOPS THAT I CALLED WON'T EVEN TOUCH THIS BECAUSE OF THE EXTENSIVE REPAIR. THAT LEAVES THE STEALERSHIP AT THE PRICE OF $3000 AND THAT IS IF NOTHING ELSE WAS DAMAGED. WHY WERE THE 2008'S LEFT OUT OF THE BUICK TIMING CHAIN RECALL WHEN IT HAS THE SAME 3.6L ENGINE? THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BUICK. THIS HAPPENED LAST YEAR (06/2018), BUT I KNEW IT WOULD BE A COSTLY REPAIR, SO THE CAR SAT UNTIL NOW.
THE TRANSMISSION IS IN LIMP MODE AND IS NOT RESPONDING. I CALL THE MANUFACTURE LOW JACK SECURITY SYSTEM AND THEY SAID I NEED TO BUY THE INSURANCE BEFORE THEY CAN UNLOCK THE VEHICLE. I THINK THEY PLAYING WITH THE COMPUTER OF MY VEHICLE. MY CAR WAS RUNNING OKAY. NO I CAN'T USE THIS CAR ANYMORE!
MY TAILGATE OPENS ON IT'S OWN WITH NO BUTTONS BEING PRESSED WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED. ALSO THE TAILGATE DOES NOT SENSE IF SOMETHING IS BLOCKING IT FROM CLOSING IT WILL JUST TRY AND CLOSE ON THE ITEM OR THE PERSON

THE DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS WERE NOT PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

AT 146,938 MILES, THE ENGINE HAS DIED (PISTONS HAVE COLLIDED WITH VALVES AT TWO POINTS AND ENGINE HAS JUMPED TIMING). THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR THE SECOND TIME (ORIGINALLY REPLACED AT 56K MILES). THERE WAS NO SIGN ON THE DASH THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH EITHER.BUICK OFFERED NO HELP WITH THIS BEING SO UNUSUAL FOR THE ENGINE TO NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THE TRANSMISSION FOR THE SECOND TIME.
THE SUNROOF LEAKED INTO THE SIDE PANELS RESULTING IN ALL THE ELECTRIC BEING RUINED TO THE FUSE BOX. $5,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE. THE ENGINE NOW DOES NOT START.
WHILE DRIVING AND MAKING A TURN THE POWER STEERING FAILED TO FUNCTION. TOOK THE CAR TO A MECHANIC AND HE REPLACED THE RACK AND PINION AND PUMP. THE PROBLEM CONTINUES . POWER STEERING WORKS WHEN ACCELERATING AND STEPPING ON THE GAS. WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS OR ARE STOPPED POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK. WHEN MAKING A TURN AT AN INTERSECTION THE POWER STEERING GOES OFF AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO COMPLETE THE TURN. I READ ON LINE THAT OTHER 2008 BUICK ENCLAVES HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
WENT TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE FROM DRIVER SIDE AND THE DOOR WOULDNT OPEN. YOU CAN PULL THE DOOR HANDLE BACK BUT DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. DOOR WILL OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. ALSO, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG NOTIFICATION COMES ON FOR A WHILE BUT THEN WILL GO OFF PERIODICALLY. WHEN YOU START THE VEHICLE IT WILL SAY "SERVICE AIR BAG" (PICTURE ATTACHED).
THE POWER STERRING PUMP AND RACK PIONION IS OUT AND NEEDS BOTH FRONT AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS NEED TO BE REPLACE CANNOT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE RAN INTO A PARK VEHICLE NOW I AM BEING SUED
WHEN ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE REAR LIFT HATCH (USING EITHER MY KEY FOB, THE DASHBOARD CONTROL BUTTON, OR THE BUTTON ON THE REAR LIFT HATCH) WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED, THE REAR LIFT HATCH RISES TO NEAR THE TOP. IT SUDDENLY STARTS CLOSING BEFORE IT GOES INTO A COMPLETE LIFT POSITION. THE PART THAT MAY BE DEFECTIVE IS UNKNOWN. I AM CONCERNED THAT SOMEONE COULD REACH IN THE REAR OF THE ENCLAVE TO GRAB ITEMS, AND THE HATCH CLOSES IN ON THE PERSON BEFORE THEY CAN ESCAPE.
2008 BUICK ENCLAVE (RECALL# 14030)-FAILURE OF THE PASSENGER SIDE IMPACT AIR BAGS INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORKING. RESEARCHED AND DISCOVERED THAT GENERAL MOTORS LLC (GM) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008-2013 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE AIR BAG INDICATOR REMAINS ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY OFF AND ON WHILE DRIVING WITH A PASSENGER IN THE DRIVERS SEAT. THE AIRBAG SENSOR WILL NOT REGISTER ANY IF THE PERSON IN THE PASSENGER SEAT IS NOT OF A CERTAIN WEIGHT. THIS IS REALLY A DANGEROUS SITUATION GIVEN THAT MY TEENAGERS RIDE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT MOST TIMES. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY TO GET THIS RESOLVED. THIS RECALL IS IDENTICAL TO MY 2008 BUICK BUT YET NOT SHOWING FOR MY VIN.

MY RADIO AMPLIFIER SUFFERED WATER DAMAGE AND 2" OF WATER HAS POOLED AFOOT OF MY VEHICLE FLOOR. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN PRESENT AS OF MARCH 2018 AND HAS RETURNED FOR REPAIR EVERY TWO MONTHS SINCE TO DATE AND IS THERE AGAIN TODAY. THIS ISSUE IS NOT ABLE TO BE RECTIFIED NOR SOLVED. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND FOUND FLOODING AND WATER ACCUMULATION ISSUES ARE A KNOWN, COMMON AND REPETITIVE ISSUE WITH THIS MAKE MODEL AND YEAR. THIS WILL RESULT IN ELECTRICAL AND MORE SIGNIFICANT POWER, AND OPERATION PROBLEMS. A REPAIR, FIX COMPENSATION AND DEEP CLEANING IS NECESSARY.

THIS BLIND SPOT IS ACTIVATED WHEN A VEHICLE OR PEDESTRIAN) APPROACHES FROM 120-140 DEGREE ANGLE- OR RIGHT HAND SIDE CROSSING MERGING INTO TRAFFIC OR APPROACHING THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE TO PROCEED ACROSS TO THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PULLOUT INTO TRAFFIC WITH TWO WAY PASSING VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS, I STOP AND OBSERVE TRAFFIC, A CAR ON THE LEFT IS APPROACHING THE BUICK IT DISAPPEARS INTO THE BLIND SPOT WHERE BY ASSUMING ALL CLEAR TO PROCEED TO CROSS LANES OF TRAFFIC TO BE STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET BY THE SURPRISE OF A VEHICLE AT THE FRONT CORNER NOSE OF THE VEHICLE. A NEAR MISS LUCKILY IF NOT AN ACCIDENT. IF AT A 4 WAY STOP AT TIMES WHEN THE STREET DOESN'T LINE UP PERPENDICULARLY BUT SLIGHTLY ASKEW, A VEHICLE IS INVISIBLE UNTIL IT IS NEAR ACCIDENT. COUNTLESS TIMES IT IS THE OTHER VEHICLE THAT STOPS SHORT OF MY OVERSIGHT DUE TO THE BLIND SPOT. A REPAIR OR FIX IS NECESSARY!! THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR MANY YEARS, I JUST DID NOT KNOW THE APPROPRIATE VENUE TO VOICE MY CONCERN AND ISSUE.

TRANSMISSION HAD AN OVERHEAT INDICATION ON A TRIP. HAD THE TRANS FLUID REPLACED, CAR WORKED FINE FOR ANOTHER 1K MILES. CAR WOULD THEN NOT SHIFT PROPERLY, NOR COULD IT BE SHIFTED MANUALLY, TOOK IT IN. TECH FOUND A WIRING CONNECTOR WITH BAD CONTINUITY, FIXED THAT. CAR GOOD FOR TWO MONTHS. TRANS BEGAN SLIPPING BADLY AND WOULD ONLY GO INTO THREE GEARS, COULD NOT DRIVE OVER 30 MPH ON THE FREEWAY AFTER A 65 MPH CRUISE. TRANSMISSION REQUIRED COMPLETE REPLACEMENT AT 158K MILES. COST $4,285.00. COME TO FIND OUT THIS KNOWN DEFECT HAS HAPPENED TO THOUSANDS OF ENCLAVE/ACADIA/SATURN SUVS SINCE 2008. SOME WITH AS LITTLE AS 20K MILES, OTHERS UP TO 200K MILES. OF COURSE, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THIS. THIS IS A SAFETY AND DRIVABILITY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AND THE OWNERS COMPENSATED FOR THEIR REPAIR COSTS. INSANE!
WHILE DRIVING IN THE CITY THE RPM'S WAS FLUCTUATING FROM AROUND 2,000 AND 3,000. AND ALSO GOT STUCK IN 3RD GEAR. ONCE CLEARED THE CODE IT WORKED A LITTLE, ONCE TRYING THE GEARS IN LOW THE CHANGING IN GEARS WAS MORE SMOOTH.

VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED USED IN 2010. FIRST HAD PROBLEM WHILE SITTING STILL AT A RED LIGHT. ALARM BELL RINGS STATING STABILITRAK TRACTION CONTORL SERVICE, POWER DOOR LOCKS AND UNLOCK, SPEEDOMETER MOVES OUT OF CONTROL. WHEN WE TRY TO DRIVE POWER IS SLOW AND ENGINE PULLS HARD, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. WE TOOK IT TO DEALER AND THEY KEPT IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. THIS HAPPENS EVERY 3 TO 4 MONTHS SOMETIMES LONGER. WHEN VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF IT SEEMS TO RESET ITSELF. THIS SEEMS TO BE A GM PROBLEM AS I HAVE LOOKED ONLINE AND FOUND SEVERAL OTHER VEHICLES ALL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THERE NEVER BEING A FIX FOR IT. AT NIGHT WHEN I GO TO BED I DON'T LOCK MY VEHICLE BECAUSE I'M AFRAID IT MAY BE AUTO STARTED THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I GET UP AND NOW MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WITH MY SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL AND SERVICE STABILITRAK LIGHT THE ENGINE IS GIVING THE CODE FOR INJECTORS 2 4 AND 6. P204 202 206. THESE LIGHTS WILL RANDOMLY COME ON AND GO OFF AND WHEN THEIR OWN THE VEHICLE WON'T START BOG DOWN AND TRY TO CUT OFF OR CUT OFF IT DOESN'T WANT TO STAY RUNNING CAME TO A RED LIGHT THREE DAYS AGO THOSE LIGHTS COME ON IN THE MIDDLE OF PULLING OFF FROM A RED LIGHT IT WAS GREEN SO I WAS PULLING AWAY CAR JUST SHUTS OFF PUT IT PUT IT IN PARK CRANK IT UP DRIVES RIGHT OFF.

THE DEALER STATED THAT IF THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANT SENSOR WAS NOT REPLACED, THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
MY SERVICE STABILTY TRACK KEEPS COMING IN AND OFF AND IT'S LIKE THE CAR JUST WANTS TO STOP AS I'M DRIVING ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. ALSO, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NOW ON AND STAYING ON AND SEEMS TO BE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR WILL NOT GO OVER 20/25 MPH AND THE RPMS ARE GOING UP REALLY HIGH WITH OUT THE CAR REALLY ACCELERATEING. IT'S EVEN WORSE KNOWING MY CHILDREN WHERE IN THE CAR AND IT TO HAPPEN OUT OF NO WHERE. I HAVE BEEN IN MOTION WITH BOTH ISSUES FROM FINE ONE MINUTE AND NOT THE NEXT. I HAVE A PIC OF WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE STABILTY TRACK BUT DIDN'T GET ONE WITH POWER PROBLEM DUE TO WHERE AND WHEN I WAS ON ROAD TO DANGEROUS. SERVICE STABILTY TRACK HAPPENED 08/28/2018 AND THE POWER TRANS PROBLEM HAPPENED 09/01/2018 AND IS STILL A PROBLEM NOT ABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE. WILL TRY A PIC AND UPLOAD LATER IF POSSIBLE. WAS DRIVING ON HWY 20 IN NEBRASKA ON BOTH OCCURRENCES COMING HOME FROM WORK ON 08/28/2018 AND HEADED DOWN SAME HWY TO GO CAMPING WITH MY CHILDREN ON 09/01/2018 WITH POWER TEAM PROBLEM THAT IS STILL HAPPENING NOT DRIVING VEHICLE NOW.
POWER STEERING PUMP FAILURE. AT LOW SPEEDS WHEEL BECOMES ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN. THIS HAS CAUSED SEVERAL NEAR ACCIDENTS. DEALER QUOTED ALMOST $1600 TO REPLACE. ONLINE RESEARCH SHOWS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THIS VEHICLE. I HAVE ALREADY HAD THE STEERING WORKED ON ONCE BEFORE AFTER HAVING DIFFICULTY TURNING THE WHEEL. AS IT IS OVER 3 YEARS SINCE THEN, I AM TOLD THE COST IS DUE FROM ME IN FULL.
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF LIGHT COME ON FOR NO REASON WHILE THERE IS A PASSENGER SEATED. WE REPLACE THE SEATBELT AND SEAT BELT SENSOR. THE NEXT CODE SAYS TO REPLACE THE SEAT SENSOR ITSELF. THAT'S A $1000 REPAIR. AND THAT DOES NOT ENSURE THAT THE AIRBAG WILL DEPLOY. THE SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX THE ISSUE. BASED ON THE CODES. WILL THE AIRBAG DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT? WE DO NOT KNOW. THIS OCCURS BOTH WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND/OR MOVING.

THIS CAR IS A MESS. IT DIDN'T PASS THE STATE EMISSION TEST STICKER. THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE STABILITY TRACK CONTROL SYSTEM. ARE BRINGING UP A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WITH ERROR CODE P0174 AND P0171. EVERY TIME THOSE SYSTEM SHOWED UP IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL I GOT A FOLLOW UP CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND TWO GMC BUICK DEALER HAVE SAID DIFFERENT FIX METHOD. VERY BACK FOR ME. THEY WANT TO FIX DIFFERENT PROBLEMS. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS. THEY ARE GUESSING.
THE STABILIZER SYSTEM IS SHOWING A WARNING LIGHT. SAYING : THE STABILIZER SYSTEM NEED SERVICE. AT THE SAME TIME THE TIRE PRESSURE SYMBOL LIGHT COME ON AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOLLOW AND STAYS ON. SHOWING 3 ERROR CODES P0700 - P0174 - P 0171. THIS IS LIKE ONE ERROR CODE PULL THE OTHER. THEN THE NEXT DAY THE LIGHT IS GONE, WHEN YOU COME AND START THE CAR AND THEN AFTER SEVERAL HOUR THE LIGHT COMES BACK AGAIN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MURPHY AUTO SALES (812 N WILLIAM KUMPF BLVD, PEORIA, IL 61605, (309) 676-4241), BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 178,475.
LOSS OF POWER COMPLETELY DURING MERGING INTO EXPRESSWAYS. TRANSMISSION WILL NOT ALLOW VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR HATCH FAILED TO OPEN AND CLOSE PROPERLY. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE REAR HATCH BECAME AJAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOLBERT CHEVROLET BUICK (LOCATED AT 1040 W BEACON ST, PHILADELPHIA, MS 39350, (601) 656-4802) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE IN MOTION AT 116,000 MILES. BEGAN SHUDDERING / SLIPPING WHILE DRIVING UPHILL. EVENTUALLY JAMMED IN 2ND GEAR AND WILL NOT SHIFT, WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (CODE P0700). GM WILL NOT REPLACE IT BECAUSE IT IS 6 MONTHS PAST THE "EXTENDED COVERAGE" OF THEIR SERVICE BULLETIN. (10 YEARS / 120,000 MILES) . I AM NOW HAVING TO PAY $3,800 TO HAVE CERTIFIED TRANSMISSION REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION.
REAR LIFTGATE OPENS RANDOMLY, LIFTGATE FAILED TO STAY OPEN AND CLOSED WHILE GETTING THINGS OUT OF BACK, WOULD THEN GO UP AND DOWN ON ITS OWN AND WAS UNABLE TO CLOSE MANUALLY. REVIEWED COMPLAINTS AND SEE THIS WAS PROBLEM WITH A CAMPAIGN NUMBER OF 15V415000 BUT WHEN WE CHECK THE VIN OF OUR CAR SAYS THERE ARE NO RECALLS.
HAD BUICK RECALL DONE IN 2011. WAS NOT PERMANENT. PASSENGER SENSOR DOES NOT WORK AND DISPLAY READS 'OFF'. 'SERVICE AIRBAG' STAYS ON THE DASH DISPLAY.
PASSENGER SEAT AIR BAG SENSOR DOES NOT WORK IF SOMEBODY UNDER 175 LBS IS SITTING THERE
DRIVING THE CAR IN THE FREEWAY. CAR STARTED SMOKING, STOPPED ON SHOULDER TURNED OFF ENGINE. SMOKE GOT DARKER AND THEN FIRE APPEARED.
2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. SUDDENLY SHUTS OFF/STALLS WHILE DRIVING. NO WARNINGS.FIRST IT ONLY HAPPENED WHEN PROCEEDING FROM STOPS LIKE RED LIGHTS, AND STOP SIGNS. NOW IT'S ALSO HAPPENING WHILE IN MOTION. THE REAR HATCH STARTS TO GO UP WHEN YOU PRESS THE BUTTON BUT ABOUT HALF-WAY UP IT REVERSES AND THE CONTROL MOTOR PULLS IT BACK DOWN-FREQUENTLY HITTING YOU IN THE HEAD. INITIALLY IT WAS ONLY OCCASIONALLY BUT NOW IT IS EVERY TIME WE TRY TO RAISE IT.
