The airbag sensors need to be replaced apparently but we were in no accident prior to the light coming on
The Buick did a hard turn to the left, without any action of the driver, and went into an uncontrollable counterclockwise spin and hit the concrete divider. Prior to the accident the Buick was traveling in the right south bound lane of US 75 with the traffic flow. There was a light rain and no one was changing lanes or speeding. No other vehicle skidded or went out of control. The cause of the accident was not the weather or driver error. Possible causes for the accident are: faulty steering system, faulty antiskid system, or a computer glitch. The dealer would not talk to us. The Buick has not been inspected. No one will inspect it.
Within 90 days of purchasing my used 2014 Buick Enclave the alert came on telling me to have the air bag serviced. It was within the 90 warranty from the used dealership so at no cost they took it in and then let me know it was a recall issue the dealership had to address. After almost a week I got my vehicle back and “all was corrected” for a month or so. Then one day it just came back on again. It decides when it will alert me at random. But I do not see it listed as a recall because it was “repaired”. Twice now when I have been on a long road trip and have been driving for more than 5 hours my sensor for my tires will start alerting me to have my tire sensors serviced. Once the vehicle has been restarted it seems to reset itself.
FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT BUCKLE TWISTED 180 DEGREES. RESULT IS BELT IS TWISTED WHEN FASTENED WITH DISCOMFORT AND REDUCTION IN BELT EFFECTIVENESS. INCREASED RISK OF SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH. NUCAR CHEVY DEALER DENIED WARRANTY CLAIM "BECAUSE VEHICLE WAS NOT PURCHASED AT NUCAR".
I have been trying for 3 years to get the airbags replaced that have been recalled due to safety concerns with Buick Service East Side Madison WI at 5402 High Crossing Blvd for the last 3 years. They said I have to wait for a letter to come from the Manufacture, which has never come. I printed out a recall letter that said my exact vehicle has a safety issue with the airbags and are recalled. Buick Service said they have tried to order them and cannot get them in due to no ETA. This is not acceptable. I have been driving around for years with faulty airbags that I cannot find anyone to help me get them replaced. I am scared every day when I drive this car due to the safety issues with the airbags that no one has helped me with for 3 years. I continue to get the runaround. This is why I am calling and filing this today. My son gave me this car about 4 years ago.
STEERING STIFFNESS & TIGHTNESS AT LOW SPEED OR HIGH SPEED. STEERING WHEEL TIGHTEN'S UP TO THE POINT WHERE IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE WHEEL. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING 50-60 MPH ON THE EXPRESSWAY. JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE DEC 19TH 2020. I NOTICED THE PROBLEM WITHIN THE FIRST 2 DAYS CAR DEALER WAS CONTACTED DEC 21ST 2020 IN REGARDS TO THE PROBLEM. CAR WAS DIAGNOSED AT THE DEALER & RETURNED TO ME WITHOUT ANY FINDINGS OF THE ISSUE. STILL THERE IS STIFFNESS THAT COMES & GOES. I'M EXTREMELY CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY AND OR OTHERS. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM THAT NEEDS ATTENTION ASAP. PLEASE RECALL SOME COULD OR MYSELF COULD BE INJURED OR KILLED. BRAKES MAKE A CRUNCHY CLICKING NOISE & THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE SOUND.
MY SERVICE AIR BAGS NOTIFICATION IS ON. I CAN'T GET IT TO TURN OFF.
THIS IS MY 2ND BUICK ENCLAVE. THE FIRST ONE WAS 2007 MODEL WHICH HAD A MAJOR FAILURE TO BRAKES- VACUUM ASSIST ETC. I WAS IN FLORIDA IN JANUARY 2014 WHEN THIS FAILURE OCCURRED. IT WAS FOUND BY CROWN BUICK IN ST. PETERSBURG, FL. DURING A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE. I PAID A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY APPROX. $1000 TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE AFTER THIS & TRADED IT IN FOR A NEW 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE WITH CROWN BUICK. NOW MY 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE WITH 64000+ MILES IS STARTING TO EXHIBIT THE SAME CHARACTERISTICS: MUSHY - EXTRA PRESSURE APPLIED TO BRAKES TO SLOW IT DOWN WHEN IN MOTION ON CITY STREET & PARTICULARLY ON THE HIGHWAY. I FEEL THE BUICK ENCLAVES SHOULD BE ADDED TO "RECALL LIST" ALONG WITH OTHER GM VEHICLES RECENTLY ADDED. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT ON A BUSY CITY STREET, BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT. IT SCARED ME TO DEATH. I QUICKLY SWITCHED THE LIGHTS FROM AUTO TO MANUAL AND THEY CAME BACK ON. WITHIN SECONDS, HOWEVER, THEY WENT OFF, AGAIN AND DID NOT COME BACK ON. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME WITHOUT INCIDENT, BUT VERY FRIGHTENED. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. WHEN THEY REMOVED THE BULB AND BALLAST, THEY DISCOVERED THAT THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT APPARATUS HAD WARPED BY OVERHEATING. THIS WAS THE SAME ON BOTH HEADLIGHTS. I WAS TOLD THE COST TO REPAIR WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY $2,800 FOR PARTS, PLUS LABOR. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE VEHICLE WARRANTY DID NOT COVER THE PROBLEM. IT IS CLEAR THE PROBLEM IS A DEFECT, RATHER THAN A MATTER OF REASONABLE WEAR AND USE. I HAVE SEEN THAT OTHER IDENTICAL COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN LODGED WITH THE NHTSA. ADDITIONALLY, THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON-LINE OF SIMILAR PROBLEMS. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL WHO MAY BE DRIVING THIS MAKE AND MODEL, I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT A RECALL ORDER BE ISSUED.
TRANSMISSION IS SHIFTING HARD. WAS SHIFTING HARD ONLY ON A TURN BUT IS NOW SHIFTING HARD AS YOU ARE JUST DRIVING ON A STRAIGHTWAY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE STEERING RACK AND POWER STEERING PUMP WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. KOLAR CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC (4770 W. ARROWHEAD RD, HERMANTOWN, MN 55811, (218)727-7481) WAS CONTACTED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY OR RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000. CONSUMER STATES THAT THE POWER ASSISTED STEERING FAILED WHEN TRYING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN. CONSUMER STATES THAT THEY SEPARATED THEIR SHOULDER WHILE TRYING TO STEER OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. AFTER SECOND FAILURE VEHICLE HAD ANOTHER RACK AND POWER STEERING PUMP INSTALLED. *DL
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS SENSOR LIGHT FOR THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE SEAT MALFUNCTIONED WHEN HIS WIFE SAT IN THE SEAT. THE SENSOR FAILED TO REGISTER A PASSENGER IN THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BUICK GMC OF WATERTOWN (715 STRAITS TPKE, WATERTOWN, CT 06795, (860) 945-4755) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE AIR BAG SENSOR WAS RESET. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT IF THE FAILURE RECURS, THE AIR BAG SENSOR SHOULD BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,000.

I PULLED MY BUICK OUT OF THE GARAGE IT WAS FINE. WENT TO GO START IT AND IT WOULDNT START IT KEPT CLICKING SO I CHECKED THE BATTERY. IT HAS SO MUCH CORISION ON IT THAT IT ATE THREW THE BOLTS THAT HOLD IT TOGEATHER. NOW ON MY INTELLINK THE BOTTON BUTTON {HAZARDS ECT} WILL NOT WORK I JUST GOT THIS CAR BACK IN SEPTEMBER OF 2019 IT ONLY HAD 42240 MILES ON IT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT NO RECALLS WERE PRESENT FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 46,000.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. SERVICE AIR BAG NOTIFICATION AND WARNING LIGHT HAVE COME ON AT APPROXIMATELY 100,000 MILES WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREET. NO ACCIDENTS NOTED AT TIME OF NOTIFICATIONS. AN AUTO REPAIR MECHANIC NOTED CODE B001E - DRIVER SIDE INBOARD SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT LOOP RESISTANCE ABOVE THRESHOLD. AIRBAG CODE HAS TSB TO SOLDER CONNECTION PINS AT CONNECTOR X333 AND X332 WHICH SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. PINS WERE FOUND TO BE DAMAGED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE ENGINE STARTED TO LOSE POWER. IN ADDITION, AN UNKNOWN WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED WITH A MESSAGE STATING THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN. THE CONTACT DROVE HOME AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO JOHNSON CADILLAC (LOCATED AT 1122 WALTON WAY, AUGUSTA, GA 30901, 706-955-7066). THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE SWITCH CIRCUIT REGARDING THE IGNITION HAD FAILED AND THE UNDER HOOD FUSE WAS LOCKED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,629.
AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT STARTED COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY AND NOW REMAINS ON. ACCORDING TO THE LOCAL DEALER (CHEVROLET OF CANTON, GA) THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS COMING ON DUE TO A FAULTY WIRE. THIS APPEARS TO BE THE SAME ISSUE THAT RESULTED IN A RECALL FOR 2008-2013 BUICK ENCLAVES. CAR HAS APPROXIMATELY 54,000 MILES AND WE ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS.
MY CAR SHOWED MESSAGE WARNING " SERVICE SIDE DETECTION SYSTEM" DURING WINTER STORM IN SYRACUSE NY. THIS MESSAGE IS ON AND OFF. ALSO, DRIVER SIDE WARNING LIGHT ON DRIVER MIRROR SHOWS INACCURATE. IT IS ON WHEN THERE WERE NO CAR. ALSO IT IS OFF WHEN THERE ARE CAR ON MY LEFT SIDE. SOMETIMES THIS HAPPENS WITHOUT ANY WARNING. MY CAR IS BIG, HAS BLIND SPOT, THIS FEATURE IS VERY IMPORTANT. I CHECKED THE SENSOR LOCATED INSIDE REAR BUMPER BEHIND THE TIRE, WHICH IS BAD POSITION FOR THE SENSOR, MUD AND WATER CAN BUILD UP EASY AROUND SENSOR. THE SENSOR CASE IS SEALED NOT PROPERLY AND WEATHER CAN BREAK THE SEAL EASY. MY SENSOR HAS BEEN FILLED WITH WATER INSIDE. I COULD HEAR WATER WHEN I SHAKED THE SENSOR
MY ENCLAVE GETS THRE WORST GAS MILEAGE OF ANY VEHICLE I'VE EVER OWNED. MY 2003 TRAILBLAZER GETS BETTER GAS MILEAGE THAN THIS SUV BY ALMOST DOUBLE AND IT'S NOT VERY FUEL EFFICIENT. MY BOYFRIEND'S V8 SILVERADO ALSO GETS ABOUT 50% BETTER GAS MILAGE. IVE BROUGHT IT IN MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY KEEP SAYING THEY CAN'T FIND AN ISSUE BC THE COMPUTER ISN'T FLAGGING ANY ISSUES. THE DRIVER SIDE SHOCK THAT WAD REPLACED HAS ALSO ALREADY WENT BAD WITH NO REASON AND THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL WOBBLES WHEN REVERSING OUT IF A PARKING SPACE. THIS AGAIN WAS CHECKED AND THEY DENIED FINDING ANY ISSUES. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AND THE RIDICULOUSLY PRICED AND WORTHLESS ADDITIONAL WARRANTY IN DECEMBER OF 2017.
I WENT TO PUT ON DRIVER SEATBELT, AND IT WOULDN'T RETRACT. THE PASSENGER SEATBELT IS DEFECTIVE AS WELL. DEFECTIVE SEATBELTS LEAVES THIS VEHICLE UNSAFE AND ILLEGAL TO DRIVE!
LIGHT SENSOR FOR ALL AIR BAGS STAY ON. THE LIGHT DON'T GO OFF AFTER DRIVING IT. AFRAID THAT AIR BAG WOULD GO OFF OR BLOW UP IN FRONT OF FACE, CAUSING FOR AN ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING. AIR BAG NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND IT CAN CAUSE AN UNEXPECTED ACCIDENT. I LIVE IN FEAR WHILE DRIVING MY CAR.
TAKATA RECALL IN THE ALMOST 3 YEARS I'VE OWNED MY 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE, THERE HAVE BEEN 2 OCCURRENCES WITH THE SAME TRANSMISSION ISSUE. THE CODES ARE: P0700, P182E AND P0306. THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND FLASHES FOR ROUGHLY 30 SECONDS. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE WAS IN THE CITY, ABOUT 35MPH AND THE SECOND WAS ON THE HIGHWAY WITH A SPEED OF 60MPH. BOTH TIMES I'VE PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND THE LIGHT DISAPPEARS. WHEN I TAKE IT IN, THE CODES ARE PULLED AND CLEARED. THE MECHANIC CAN NOT GET THE CODE TO REAPPEAR. MY BUICK HAS NEVER SHIFTED RIGHT, NOTICING PADDING AND JERKING BEFORE AND AFTER SWITCHING GEARS. THE MECHANIC SAID THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRANSMISSIONS AND THE REPAIR BILL WILL BE AROUND $3,500.00 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. A 5 YEAR OLD VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THESE ISSUES!! BUYING A 2 YEAR OLD VEHICLE AT $28K, OWNING IT FOR LESS THAN 3 YEARS AND HAVING TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT SIT RIGHT IN MY BOOK. GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND SOON!
SERVICE AIR BAG WARNING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER DRIVING INTO THE GARAGE AND SWITCHING THE GEAR SHIFTER TO THE PARK POSITION AND AFTER RELEASING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHIFTED INTO REVERSE AND CRASHED INTO THE GARAGE DOOR. NO POLICE REPORT OR INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER BRADS COTTAGE GROVE CHEVROLET (2775 ROW RIVER RD, COTTAGE GROVE, OR 97424) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER CABLE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
1)Numerous Gas Cap ‘red warnings’ were fixed each time 2)Driver-side ‘Seat Belt’. Fixed. 3)Check engine light ‘off and on’ will quit after 5-10 minutes 4)Stabilitrak/Traction-control (red light warnings), on and off, finally stayed on: Took back to Parsons of Antigo, WI dealership for repair; they said it was fixed. I left dealership at their closing time, started car, the car was shaking, called dealership/told them what was happening/they said bring it back on Monday—this was a Thursday evening after 6 PM! a. I had to drive this ‘shaking-car’ home approximately 35 miles away, while going about 30-40 mph/in a shaking car, seems car wanted to stop. Very frightening in the dark night. b.I had a wrecker come and take the car back to dealership. I do not care to deal with dealership after this—I changed to different dealership. c.About 3 years ago, while driving on US 8 outside of Rhinelander the car just ‘simply’ went off the highway; I quickly managed to bring the car back onto the highway blacktop. Is this for real? i.Until July 2025 I worked 40 hours/week and I believed and trusted that the repair services would inform me that I needed to beware of ‘this or that’; when usual car maintenance was completed. d.In 2019, going through a ‘Traffic Circle’ in Green Bay, WI area; this vehicle just would not stop (as I need to wait for cars coming from the left) and somehow, I made it through that circle without hitting another car or damaging this car! The police officer asked, ‘What happened?’ and I told him, ‘I have no idea what happened’. I was given a ticket for $175; that was mailed with a check before a certain date. i.Now, after reading all the ‘recalls and complaints’ I can understand ‘the why’ I had to endure driving with this vehicle’s unreliable mechanisms” throughout these years. 5)2021 Air bag ‘red light’ for Service recall Airbag/serviced. 2-19-2026 airbag another warning to replace again. THE AIR CONDITIONER DOESN'T WORK. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE IN AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES AND HAVE BEEN TOLD NOTHING IS WRONG. THE MOST RECENT TIME I TOOK IT IN WAS ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO. YESTERDAY IT WAS 90 DEGREES WHERE I LIVE. AFTER SCHOOL, I PICK UP MY KIDS 3YRS & 7YRS. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES IN THE CAR MY 7 YEAR OLD IS COMPLAINING OF BEING HOT. I LOOK BACK AND SHE HAS SWEAT DRIPPING DOWN HER FACE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY FOR ANYONE THAT HAS INFANTS. AFTER BEING TOLD MY AIR CONDITIONER IS FINE MULTIPLE TIMES, I DON'T EXPECT HOT AIR TO BE BLOWING OUT THE VENTS IN THE BACK WHEN MY AIR IS ON. THE FRONT WAS NOT WORKING WELL EITHER, BUT IT WAS COOLER AIR COMING OUT, NOT COLD. I ASSUMED THE BACK WAS THE SAME TEMPERATURE. IF I HAD AN INFANT THAT COULDN'T SPEAK, THEY COULD DIE FROM HEAT EXHAUSTION. THIS IS SIMILAR TO LEAVING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR FOR A FEW MINUTES ON A HOT DAY. SOMEONE COULD DIE. I HAVE ALSO READ MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE. PLEASE DO NOT LET A DEATH HAPPEN BEFORE RECALLING THIS ISSUE. THERE IS A HISSING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT ALMOST EVERYDAY. THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKS SOMETIMES, BUT IT USUALLY TAKES AWHILE TO GET COLD OR DOESN'T WORK AT ALL (USUALLY ON WARMER DAYS). MY CAR HAS 60K MILES NOW. THIS PROBLEM STARTED A FEW YEARS AGO. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION IN THE CITY STREET DURING THIS INCIDENT.
ABOUT A YEAR AGO, OUR 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE AWD, BEGAN SHUDDERING WHILE DRIVING AND LAGGING WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. 4 MONTHS AGO, THE VEHICLE'S CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS ON THE FREEWAY. IT ALSO DISPLAYED THE "TRACTION CONTROL OFF" 'STABILITY CONTROL OFF" AND "ENGINE POWER REDUCED" SIGNS ON THE DASHBOARD. MY VEHICLE WENT FROM 75 MPH TO 25 IN A MATTER OF SECONDS.. WHILE I WAS ON THE FREEWAY WITH MY TWO CHILDREN IN THE CAR! I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURN THE CAR COMPLETELY OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN. THIS SEEMED TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER, BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ON FOR SEVERAL DAYS. 4 MONTHS LATER, THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED ABOUT 16 ADDITIONAL TIMES, 3 WHILE ON THE FREEWAY! WE'VE REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY, THROTTLE BODY GASKET, MASS AIR FULL SENSOR, PVC VALVE AND THE POWER TRAIN MODULE RELAY. WE ARE CONTINUING TO HAVE PROBLEMS!! THE MOST RECENT, THIS MORNING WHILE TAKING MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL. THIS ON TOP OF HAVING TO HAVE THE A/C EVAPORATOR REPLACED AT LEAST ONCE/ YEAR SINCE WE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW OFF THE LOT! I'M A LITTLE TIRED OF PUTTING MY CHILDREN'S LIVES AS WELL AS MY OWN IN DANGER EVERY TIME I TAKE THEM AND PICK THEM UP FROM SCHOOL!

ONE DAY, "SERVICE AIRBAG" TEXT JUST CAME UP ON THE SCREEN IN THE DASHBOARD ALONG WITH THE AIRBAG SHAPED LIGHT. NOTHING HAPPENED TO THE CAR, I JUST HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT NORMALLY. IT JUST CAME ON WITH NO REASON. IT HAS 62,400 MILES ON IT. 2014.
VEHICLE WARNING LIGHTS COME ON RANDOMLY - AIRBAGS, CHECK ENGINE, ABS. THEY WILL LIGHT DURING DRIVE TIME, THEN BLINK OUT FOR NO APPARENT REASON. INSTRUMENT LIGHTING MAY OR MAY NOT LIGHT WHEN VEHICLE IS STARTED, AND INSTRUMENT CONSOLE AND/OR ENTERTAINMENT CONSOLE WILL NOT FUNCTION WHEN UNLIT. AGAIN, THIS HAPPENS RANDOMLY, AND OFTEN RESOLVES JUST AS RANDOMLY. HAVE HAD VEHICLE INSPECTED BY DEALER WITHOUT ANY ISSUES IDENTIFIED. ISSUES HAVE BEEN ONGOING FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. THEY CAN OCCUR WITHOUT REGARD TO VEHICLE BEING IN MOTION.

HAS DONE THIS A FEW TIMES NOW. ALSO SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS COME ON INTERMITTENTLY PRIOR TO FUEL GAUGE ISSUE AND NOW IS ON EVERY TIME. VEHICLE BUCKLE LATCH IS JAMMED/MALFUNCTIONING. BUCKLE DOES NOT ACCEPT LATCH AND POSES A SEVERE ACCIDENT THREAT TO ADULTS/CHILDREN. BOTH CAPTAIN CHAIR BUCKLES ARE AFFECTED. NORMAL WEAR IS OBSERVED WITH THE VEHICLE WITH CHILD RESTRAINT CAR SEATS IN BOTH FORWARD AND REAR FACING, LONGEVITY OF BUCKLE SYSTEM WITH INFANT CAR SEATS IS JEOPARDIZED AND RENDERED INEFFECTIVE. BUCKLE MECHANISM IS POORLY MADE WITH PLASTIC BREAKING APART. METAL PRONG IS OBSERVED TO BE IN THE OUT/LOCKED POSITION AND DOES NOT DISENGAGE. PREVIOUS TO JAMMING BUCKLE WAS HARD TO ACCEPT A LATCH.
STEERING STIFFENED UP TO POINT I WAS UNABLE TO CRANK WHEEL IN PARKING LOT TRAVELING 5MPH. WHILE ON FREEWAY ENTER RAMP, COULD FEEL TENSION PULL THEN RELEASE ON THE CURVE AT 40 MPH. GM DEALER CHARGING 1600 TO REPLACE POWER STEERING PUMP... ONLY 45,000 MILES ,,,
THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING AND FAILING TO SHIFT INTO THE NEXT GEAR ON ACCELERATION. THE PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT AND HAS BEEN PROGRESSIVELY GETTING WORSE OVER THE LAST 7 MONTHS. NOW IT IS AT THE DEALER AND THEY WON'T COVER THE REPAIR BECAUSE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED 2 MONTHS AGO. THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY PRIOR BUICK ENCLAVE WHICH I TRADED IN (BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM) WHEN I PURCHASED MY CURRENT VEHICLE.
SHORTLY AFTER TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE VEHICLE, WE NOTICED A "CLUNKING" WITHIN THE TRANSMISSION WHEN GOING UP A SMALL INCLINE AT APPROX 15 MPH. THE PROBLEM HAS PERSISTED FOR YEARS AND WE'VE HAD THE DEALER INVESTIGATE MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO REMEDY. THE ISSUE IS NOW MORE VISIBLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS BETWEEN 60 AND 65 MPH. WE RECENTLY DROPPED OFF WITH THE DEALER WHERE THEY APPLIED A SOFTWARE PATCH WHICH HAS SLIGHTLY REDUCED THE ISSUE, BUT HAS NOT RESOLVED. WE STILL HAVE A "CLUNKING" TRANSMISSION AT 15MPH UP AN INCLINE AND AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I HAVE SEEN OTHERS REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,785.
BUICK WAS IN MOTION AND STEERING LOCKED UP AND ALLMOST HIT ANOTHER CAR. HAPPENED AGAN ON WAY HOME. DEALER FOUND LEAKING STEARING GEAR HAD TO REPLCE RACK ASSY 1941.50 COSTWHICH I HAD DONE FOR SAFTEY. MILAGE AT 45517 MANY OTHER BUICKS SAME PROBLEM OF WHICH GM PAID FOR REPAIR. MY COMPLAINT WAS DENIED AND CLOSED UNSATISFIED, HUNDRES OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS MATTER AND GM NO RECALL.
I CANNOT TURN MY STEERING WHEEL WHEN GOING AT SLOW MPH. WHEN TRYING TO PULL INTO PARKING SPACES, DRIVEWAYS, SHARP TURNS OR BASICALLY DOING ANYTHING HAD REQUIRES ME TO DRIVE SLOWLY AND TURN, MY STEERING WHEEL WILL NOT TURN. IT'S EXTREMELY HARD.
I BOUGHT MY 2014 BUICK ENCLAVE AT THE END OF MAY AND HAD IT IN THE SHOP AT THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER, AFTER PUTTING 3000 MILES ON IT, FOR POWER STEERING ISSUES, (NOISE AND VIBRATION) AND IT TURNS OUT THE NEEDED TO REPLACE THE PUMP BUT WERE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE DESIGN, WHILE THEY WERE LOOKING AT IT THEY SAID THEY NEEDED TO ALSO REPLACE A BALL JOINT. THEN IN MID JAN. THE NOISE STARTED AGAIN, I HAD IT CHECKED AND THEY SAID IT WAS FROM THE COLD, WELL THAT BECAME UNTRUE AS IT BECAME WORSE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS (NOISE AND VIBRATION AS I WAS TURNING) AND I BROUGHT IT IN AGAIN 3-7-2018 AND SURE ENOUGH THE SAME PROBLEM IS THERE!! SO THE MECHANIC HAS TO FIGURE OUT A DIFFERENT SOLUTION BY CALLING THE BUICK DEALER. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS AS THIS IS MY FIRST "NEW" VEHICLE I BOUGHT, VERY UNHAPPY!! BUICK NEEDS TO RECALL AND FIND A FIX FOR ALL THESE PROBLEMS!

THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS STARTING IN FEBRUARY 2017. I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT NEEDS A NEW WIRING HARNESS, NEW POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE, NEW FUSE BOX DUE TO WATER INTRUSION, WATER IS STATED TO COME FROM CRACKED WINDSHIELD BUT WINDSHIELD HAS BEEN REPLACED BEFORE AND PROBLEM PERSISTED. FUSE BOX HAS BEEN REPLACED. PCM AND IGNITION SWITCH HAVE BOTH BEEN REPLACED. GIVES CODE P1682 WHICH IS IGNITION 1 SWITCH CIRCUIT 2 CODE. TWO DOCUMENT #S HAVE SHOWN UP WHEN RUNNING DIAGNOSTIC CHECK (4583190 AND 4184289)
SERVICE SIDE DETECTION SYSTEM ERROR DISPLAYED ON DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER AT 49,300 MILES. BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE OBJECT SENSORS ARE BAD DUE TO WATER CONTAMINATION. HAD NEAR MISS ON ROUTE 90 IN ERIE PA DUE TO BLIND SPOT DETECTION NOT WORKING. HAD TO RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENT AT BURDICK BUICK DUE TO DEATH OF FATHER WHEN VEHICLE HAD 49,800 MILES ON IT. DUE TO TRAVELLING FOR DEATHA ND FUNERAL, VEHICLE HAD 50,1020 MILES AT TIMNE OF APPOINTMENT. GM / BURDICK WILL NOT COVER REPAIRS AT 100% UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO MILEAGE BEING OVER BY 1,000 MILES.
