I WAS GETTING OFF OF WORK AND AS I TRIED TO OPEN MY CAR I NOTICED THE REMOTE WASN'T WORK. AS I APPROACHED MY VEHICLE I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNT. FIGURED IT WAS COMING FROM THE ALLEY. I CALL SECURITY TO COME AND HELP ME AND AS WE OPEN THE HOOD IT SMELLED JUST AS BAD. WE NOTICED THAT THE FUSE BOX HAD A MELTED HOLE IN IT. ONCE IT OPENED SEVERAL FUSED WERE BURNT. I HAVE READ THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. I WISH U LET US UPLOAD PICTURES OF THIS INCIDENT. WHAT IF WHILE DRIVING MY CAR HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE OR SOMETHING WORSE COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ME OR MY CHILD. LUCKILY I WAS OUT OF MY VEHICLE WHEN THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED. THIS ISSUE HAS TO BE LOOKED AT. NOW I HAVE TO TOW MY CAR OUT OF MY WORK GARAGE PAY FOR THAT AND THEN PAY FOR MY VEHICLE TO GET FIX WHICH WE SHOULD DEFINITELY GET REIMBURSED FOR IT BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS A RECURRING ISSUE THAT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I WAS DRIVING BACK FROM GEORGIA AT 4:30 AM PITCH DARK AND MY HEADLAMPS CUT OFF. I WAS NEXT TO A SEMI AND ALMOST CRASHED INTO HIM. I HAD TO USE MY BRIGHTS BUT COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THEM ON SO I HAD TO KEEP FLASHING THEM TO SEE. SINCE THEN I'VE HAD TO DRIVE AT NIGHT TONIGHT ON MAY 23, 2015 AT 9 PM AND MY LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON AT ALL NOW. THE ONLY WAY TO GET HOME ONCE AGAIN WAS TO DRIVE WITH MY BRIGHTS ON. I HAD MY BROTHER TEST THE LIGHTS AND THEY COME ON AND CUT OFF RANDOMLY AT WILL. THIS IS NOT SAFE AND THEY SHOULD BE RECALLED.

MY LOW-BEAM HEADLAMPS WENT OUT ON JANUARY 9, 2015, WHICH I WAS NOT AWARE OF UNTIL A POLICE OFFICER PULLED ME OVER INDICATING TO ME THAT I HAD NO HEADLIGHTS. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME WITH MY HIGH BEAMS ON. I HAD TO LEAVE WORK EARLY ALL LAST WEEK IN ORDER TO GET HOME BEFORE DARK. I WENT ON LINE YESTERDAY AND TYPED IN MY MAKE MODEL AND YEAR OF MY VEHICLE AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A RECALL FOR MY TYPE OF VEHICLE FOR THE HEADLAMPS. CONTACTED BUICK AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY CAN NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM YET BECAUSE THERE IS NO "OFFICIAL" RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A DANGER WHEN SOMEONE'S HEADLIGHTS GO OUT ALL OF THE SUDDEN WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT; THIS COULD CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT WHICH COULD INVOLVE LIVES. THEY INFORMED ME I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET THE "OFFICIAL" NOTICE BEFORE THEY CAN FIX THE PROBLEM OR I CAN BRING IN MY VEHICLE AND HAVE IT LOOKED AND FIXED AT MY EXPENSE.
