TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DIMMER FAILED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY AND THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS DID NOT ILLUMINATE BRIGHTLY ENOUGH. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS IN ORDER TO SEE THE ROAD. ANDREWS CADILLAC (1 CADILLAC DR, BRENTWOOD, TN 37027, (615) 200-9076) WAS CONTACTED AND WERE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT STATED THERE WAS NO REMEDY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
FRONT HEADLIGHTS ARE DIMMING OUT. HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT GIVING SUFFICIENT ENOUGH LIGHTING FOR DRIVING AT NIGHT. HEADLIGHTS OUTPUT IS POOR. I HAVE EXPERIENCED NEAR ACCIDENTS WITH OTHER VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF I CAN'T SEE THE LANE DIVIDING LINES ON HIGHWAYS AND STREETS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE FACTORY HEADLIGHTS DIMMING. THE HEADLIGHTS DOESN'T EVEN LIGHT UP INSIDE OF MY GARAGE WHEN PROJECTED AT IN CLOSE RANGE. (I HAVE INCLUDED A PHOTO)
-I WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON FM , MILES NORTH OF MIAMI, TX WHEN A DEER RAN OUT IN FRONT OF ME. I STRUCK IT FRONT CENTER AND ONSTAR IMMEDIATELY CALLED FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES. FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS ONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND AFTER PULLING OF THE ROAD AND COMING TO A STOP, I NOTICED A FIRE FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I EXITED THE VEHICLE AND STILL ON THE PHONE WITH ONSTAR, MY CAR FULLY ENGULFED WITHIN 15 MINUTES. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ON SITE AFTER THE CAR WAS FULLY ENGULFED AND TOOK AN HOUR TO PUT OUT THE FLAMES. MY CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS. NO ONE KNOWS WHY IT CAUGHT FIRE, WHAT CAUSED IT.
ON OR ABOUT SEPTEMBER 11, 2017, I ENCOUNTERED A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION DUE TO THE DEFECTIVE HEADLAMPS ON MY 2015 CADILLAC SRX. I HAD TO EVACUATE TO VIRGINIA FROM FLORIDA DUE TO HURRICANE IRMA. AS I WAS DRIVING UP A STEEP MOUNTAINSIDE AT NIGHT TO GET TO MY DESTINATION, I NOTICED I COULD BARELY SEE THE ROAD IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS PUT IN A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION, AS I COULD NOT USE MY BRIGHT LIGHTS BECAUSE THAT WOULD "BLIND" THE CARS COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THIS WAS A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION AS ONE WRONG MANEUVER COULD SEND YOU OFF THE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN OR HEAD-ON INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE OR PEDESTIAN. UPON MY RETURN TO FLORIDA, I IMMEDIATELY TOOK MY CAR INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AS FOG AND HAZE COVERING THE LENS DUE TO "WEATHER" AND REPLACED BOTH HEADLAMPS. ON MAY 13, 2018, I NOTICED THE SAME HEAD LAMP DIMNESS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD OR PEDESTRIANS OR ANYTHING. I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEADLAMP AND REPLACED IT. THIS HAS BEEN LESS THAN A YEAR SINCE THE INITIAL REPLACEMENT. CLEARLY THERE IS A DEFECT WITH THE DESIGN AND/OR INTEGRITY OF THESE HEADLAMPS AND A NEWER VERSION MUST BE MANUFACTURED. I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND IF MOISTURE IS CAUSING THIS, THIS WILL BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM. THIS IS VERY COSTLY TO FIX, NOT TO MENTION, LIFE THREATENING AS YOU ARE UNABLE TO SEE THE ROAD OR PEDESTRIANS OR ANYTHING ELSE WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT WITH BARELY ANY LIGHT ILLUMINATING THE PATH IN FRONT OF YOUR VEHICLE.
2015 CADILLAC HEAD LIGHTS ON DIM IS WHERE I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THEY ARE VERY DIM AND AFTER TAKING TO DEALER WHEN IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON GMC. IF ANYTHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO ME WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, GMC WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR DEATHS. I HAVE THREE TIMES WHERE A CAR HAS PULLED OUT IN FRONT ON ME AND WE ALMOST COLLIDED. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT WITH THE LATEST NEWS ON THIS PROBLEM.
HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING ON DIM SETTING, OK ON BRIGHT BUT DIM IS SO DIM YOU CAN'T SEE. I'VE HAVE TRIED TO HAVE IT REPAIRED BUT NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX IT. VERY DANGEROUS CAN'T DRIVE THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT.
WE STOPPED AT LIGHT OR STOP SIGN,WHEN TAKING OFF HERE A LOUD BOOM OR KICK.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DO NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH LIGHT TO DRIVE SAFELY AT NIGHT. THIS PROBLEM IS KNOWN BY GM AND THEY REFUSE TO HONOR THE REPAIRS. MANY FORUMS DISCUSS THIS SINCE IT INVOLVES THE CADILLAC SRX FROM 2011-2015. ALL THEY GO IS REPLACE THE WEATHER STRIPPING AROUND THE LIGHT BUT THAT IS NOT EFFECTIVE. MY WIFE AND I ARE PRETTY MUCH CONFINED TO DAYTIME DRIVING BECAUSE THE LOW BEAMS ARE SO USELESS AT NIGHT OR IN THE RAIN THAT YOU REALLY WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH CANDLES. I WAS FORCED TO DRIVE FOR AN EMERGENCY LAST NIGHT AND ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT ON A COUNTRY ROAD BECAUSE THE LIGHTS DID NOT LIGHT UP THE ROAD GOOD ENOUGH TO SEE WHERE I WAS DRIVING. SERVICE CENTER SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BUT THERE IS. THEY HAVE BETTER HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES BUT WILL NOT REPLACE THEM. GM JUST STALLS AND STONEWALLS THE CUSTOMER. I HAD THE BRIGHTEST LOW BEAM BULB REPLACED IN BOTH LIGHTS BUT THE HEADLIGHT DESIGN IS THE PROBLEM. MOST EXPENSIVE PEACE OF TRASH I HAVE EVER OWNED. BEEN DEALING WITH THIS SINCE PURCHASING IN 2017.
MY 2015 CADILLAC SRX WHEEL CLADDING,HUB CAPS, ARE COMING OFF. TOOK TO DEALER, HENDRICK CADILLAC NORFOLK VA., BECAUSE THE CLADDING WAS RATTALING AND STARTING TO COME OF THE WHEEL. THEY SAID THAT THE WHEELS WERE NOT COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURES WARRANTY. WHEN THE CLADDING, HUB CAPS, WERE MANUFACTURED THE ADHISIVE WAS NOT APPLIED RIGHT AND ARE SEPERATING FROM THE ALLOY WHEELS. THEY COULD POSSIBLY SEPERATE FROM THE WHEEL AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR HURT SOMBODY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, BOTH LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS FAILED TO WORK WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (CROSBY CADILLAC, GMC, NISSAN, INC, 2715 MEMORIAL DR, WAYCROSS, GA 31503) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT BOTH LOW BEAM LIGHTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
VEHICLE'S REAR LIFT GATE SUDDENLY CLOSED WHILE IN THE OPEN POSITION AND STRIKING MY SISTER WHILE SHE LOADED BAGS IN THE CARGO AREA. THIS HAPPENED TWICE ON 5/29/17. I RETURNED HOME AND HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE CAR SINCE. I WILL TAKE IT IN FOR SERVICE ON 5/31/17. MY SISTER WAS NOT INJURED, BUT SHE WAS SHAKEN UP, AS THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO PRESS DOWN ON HER BODY. A YOUNG CHILD MAY HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED. THE CAR WAS STOPPED IN THE PARK GEAR, WITH THE MOTOR ON. IN A SHOPPING CENTER.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE STABILITRAK AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS COME ON. NEXT A WARNING READS, "ENGINE RUNNING AT REDUCED POWER" AND THE CAR SLOWS DOWN. WHEN I CUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTART, THE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHTS RESET AND THE CAR WILL DRIVE NORMAL.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM IT MAKES THE CAR UNDRIVEABLE AT NIGHT. THE DEALERSHIP STATED ITS A KNOW PROBLEM AND WOULD COST ABOUT 1500.00 TO FIX. THIS CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. I HAVE FOUND ITS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS ON THE SRX. PLEASE HELP. SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS UNSAFE CAR.
TURNS SIGNALS FAIL TO WORK CONSISTENTLY WHEN TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW 20 DEGREES. CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT OF THREE BODY CONTROL MODULES AND IS BACK IN AGAIN AS SAME PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED AGAIN. THE SIGNAL PROBLEMS HAPPENS EVEN IF THE CAR IS STOPPED, MOVING, TURNING, ON ALL SURFACES, ETC . PROBLEM STARTED FALL OF 2015 AND CONTINUES TO BE AN ISSUE AT THIS TIME. *TR
The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated he was unable to see the roadway while driving at night using the low-beam headlights. The contact stated that the high-beam headlight was activated to see the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to diagnose the cause of the failure. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.

MY 2015 CADILLAC SRX HAS A HEADLIGHT PROBLEM. USEING LOW BEAMS YOU CAN NOT SEE VERY WELL AT NIGHT. I REPLACED THEM IT DID NOT HELP. I THINK IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I THINK GMC NEEDS TO RECALL AND FIX THE PROBLEM.

THE CONTACT HAD TO MANUALLY CLOSE THE HATCH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,800.
I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LIGHTS BEING TOO DIM EVERY SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR. I CAN HARDLY SEE AT NIGHT, WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS AND IT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. MY SCREEN SHOWING THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE RADIO ETC. BLACKS OUT. IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED, I WAS TOLD BUT IT CONTINUES TO DO SO. I CANNOT END A CALL BY PRESSING THE BUTTON ON THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE ALSO COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS NUMEROUS TIMES. IT ALSO MAKES THIS WEIRD NOISE WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AFTER A FEW HOURS BUT THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT SEEM TO FIND THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN HAVING ALL OF THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE SOME TIME. THE LIGHTS NEED TO BE REPLACED AT THE MANUFACTURES EXPENSE, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE SCREEN GOING BLACK AS I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW. THE NOISE FROM THE ENGINE HAS TO BE COMING FROM SOMETHING BUT NOBODY SEEMS TO HEAR IT WHEN I TAKE IT IN.
RECEIVED A LETTER THAT THE HEADLIGHTS ARE DEFECTIVE AND WE HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENT ON THE REPAIR AND THEN WE WILL RECEIVE A REFUND. THE LIGHTS ARE DIM AND OBSTRUCT OUR VIEW AT NIGHT, IF THEY KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM, WHY AREN'T THEY OFFICIALLY RECALLING THE LIGHTS AND REPLACING WITHOUT ANY COST TO THE CONSUMER.

WHEN PRESSED THE SERVICE MANGER ADMITTED IT IS NORMAL BUT ON THE EXTREME SIDE BUT REFUSES TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. I BELIEVE THE CAR IS UNSAFE AND SHOULD BE REPAIRED. GM CORPORATE HAS BEEN HAS BEEN CONTACTED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND IS UNCOOPERATIVE AND REFUSES TO RETURN ANY COMMUNICATION. WHEN ONE PAYS THE MONEY TO BUY A LUXURY VEHICLE, ONE EXPECTS PROBLEMS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND REPAIRED.
ON NOV 1ST 2015 RETURNING FROM NORTH CAROLINA TO FLORIDA MY HEATED SEAT OVERHEATED CAUSING 2ND DEGREE BURNS. THE DEALERSHIP DENIES ANY PROBLEMS EVEN AFTER I SHOWED THEM PHOTO OF THE INJURY.
HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM THAT IT REQUIRES HIGH BEAMS AT NIGHT.
ON INCLINED OR HILLY TERRAIN THE CAR ROLLS BACK EVEN IF IN DRIVE. AFTER A COMPLETE STOP DUE TO TRAFFIC OR STOP SIGN OR SIGNALS, WHEN FOOT IS TAKEN OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE CAR BEGINS TO BE ROLLBACK INSTANTLY. SUCH SUDDEN SHIFT OF GEAR IS SCARY. REMINDS YOU OF ALL THE ACCIDENTS CAUSED BY AUTOMATIC SHIFT OF GEAR. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. NEVER HAD EXPERIENCED SUCH ROLL BACK IN THE GM CARS WE PREVIOUSLY OWNED. AND THEY WERE LESS EXPENSIVE CARS. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT IN NOVI MICHGAN AND WAS TAKEN TO VIRGINIA. IT WAS DRIVEN AROUND WASHINGTON DC METRO AREA FOR ALMOST ONE YEAR. THE ISSUE WAS REPORTED TO A DEALER IN VIRGINIA AND MICHIGAN. NOT MUCH ATTENTION OR IMPORTANCE WAS GIVEN. IN NOVI, WHEN ASKED FOR DOCUMENTATION OF OUR REPORT, WAS TOLD IT IS PLACED IN THE SYSTEM THE GPS SYSTEM IN THE CAR AT OCCASIONS HAVE GIVEN WRONG DIRECTIONS, WHICH IT ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT AT THE LAST MOMENT REQUIRING IMMEDIATE AND QUICK MANEUVERS. THAT ITSELF CAUSES GRAVE SAFETY PROBLEMS IN MULTI LANE ROADWAYS. THE GPS SYSTEM I'M THE I PHONE IS ACTUALLY BETTER AND MORE UPTODATE. THE SPOKEN INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT AS CLEAR AS OTHER SYSTEMS. THE DEALER SAID THEY WERE NOT EQUIPPED OR TRAINED TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, 8/6/15, MY 2 WEEK OLD 2015 CADILLAC SRX (650 MILEAGE) SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND CONTINUED TO DO SO WHILE I WAS STEPPING ON THE BRAKES, REPEATEDLY. MY WIFE AND I COULD SMELL THE BRAKE PADS AS IF THEY WERE "BURNING" FROM THE PRESSURE I APPLIED BUT THE SRX WOULD NOT STOP. WHENEVER I LIFTED MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKES SLIGHTLY, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. I PULLED OVER INTO THE LEFT SHOULDER AND SHUT OFF THE ENGINE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP. WE WERE TRAUMATIZED AS OUR GRANDCHILD WAS IN THE VEHICLE . THE SRX HAS BEEN IN THE CADILLAC SERVICE DEPARTMENT THE PAST TWO WEEKS AS THEY TRY TO FIND THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE COMPUTER DID NOT REPORT ANY PROBLEM AND TEST DRIVES WOULD NOT DUPLICATE THE OCCURRENCE FOR THE SERVICEMAN.

The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at night, the headlights were extremely dim and failed to provide sufficient illumination of the roadway. The failure significantly reduced visibility and created a safety hazard. The vehicle was driven to a dealer; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 32,388.
Continuous Struggle with the performance of my vehicle’s headlights. I feel like I am driving blind at night unless I turn my Brights on. I have a 2015 SRX and my low headlights are really dim. My 2015 SRX HEADLIGHTS are pretty useless, I got the lens cleaned up and they are not clouded but the light is so dim making it unsafe for me to drive at night. I did some research and found there has been a class action lawsuit filed over Cadillac SRX headlight performance and there are numerous complaints on this by so many frustrated Cadillac owners. My dealer is asking for $1700 to fix the headlights. I feel this is a safety issue and GM should be responsible to resolve the issue. The problem exists from day 1 since I bought the car.
MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DO NOT PRODUCE ENOUGH LIGHT TO DRIVE SAFELY AT NIGHT. ONE LIGHT SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE WORSE THAN THE OTHER ONE. THEY ARE DEFINITELY UNSAFE. IT SEEMS THIS IS A COMMON COMPLAINT WITH THESE VEHICLES. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.
CAR WAS MAKING WHISTLING/HOWLING SOUND BETWEEN 30MPH-45MPH. THOUGHT POSSIBLY A BREAKING IN ISSUE, BUT CONTINUED AFTER 1200 MILES AND WAS MOST PREVALENT AT STATED MPH ABOVE. SHOP STATED BEARING ISSUE IN DRIVE SHAFT AND ENTIRE DRIVE SHAFT MUST BE REPLACED. CONCERN OVER EFFECT TO OTHER POWER TRAIN PARTS CONNECTED TO DEFECTIVE DRIVE SHAFT. COULD NOT BE DRIVEN UNTIL PARTS REPLACED. DEFINITIVELY, A SAFETY ISSUE. *JS
WHILE ROLLING IN BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY HARD FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS VERY DIM AND HAVE BEEN SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NEW IN JANUARY OF 2015. CONTACTED DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE SRX FOR WHICH THERE WAS NO FIX. ON MY THIRD SET OF AFTERMARKET HALOGEN BULBS WITH ONLY MARGINAL IMPROVEMENT. CONSIDER IT SOMEWHAT DANGEROUS TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE DURING NIGHT TIME HOURS. THIS ISSUE HAPPENS WITH HEADLIGHT SWITCH IN AUTOMATIC OR WHEN SELECTING THE "HEADLIGHT ON" POSITION. HEADLIGHTS ALSO APPEAR TO BE AIMED TOO LOW BUT DEALERSHIP CHOSE NOT TO VERIFY AND THERE DOPES NOT APPEAR TO BE AN ADJUSTMENT SCREW; THE MANUAL STATES THAT THE DEALER'S BODY SHOP SHOULD AIM THE LIGHTS.
TO MY KNOWLEDGE RECALL FOR SEATS OUT BOARD CORRECTION NOT PERFORMED BEFORE TAKING DELIVERY ON 12/26/2014. I'M MAKING AN APPT. AS OF TODAY 1/2/2015. I'M HEARING A WHISTLING / HOWLING LIKE NOISE WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN 25 TO 35 MPH. GETS LOADER WHEN ACCELERATING AND SEEMS TO BE MORE PREVALENT WHEN STARTING AND COLD. THE SOUND CAUSES ME TO WONDER IF ITS RELATED TO SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS (THAT COULD) FAIL CAUSING LOST OF CONTROL. IT APPEARS TO BE COMING FROM BENEATH THE REAR OF VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED TO PRODUCE ENOUGH LIGHT. THE CONTACT HAD TO DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ACTIVATED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
The headlights are a safety hazzard. The dealership that I purchased the car from, did not inform me of the extremely low headlights. They insist it passes PA guidelines. But they are in fact too low to drive safely at night. It's as if there are no headlights on at all. I found out there WAS a recall on these headlights. But only until 2019. Cadillac is no longer under any obligation to fix the problem. REALLY? That should have been a full recall on the hazerdous headlight for ALL of these vehicles. Not just some. Why would they allow these poor headlights to be on the road at night? Are they waiting for someone to get killed in a horrible accicent?
The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60-65 MPH, the vehicle swayed. The battery and navigation system became inoperable. The TPMS warning indicator light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed the battery and the toe link needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 2,900.
HEADLIGHTS WHEN I DRIVE AT NIGHT ON LOW BEAM I CAN NOT SEE VERY WELL.I REPLACE BULBS IT DID NOT HELP. YOU CAN NOT GO VERY FAST AT NIGHT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT SEE VERY WELL .YOU HAVE TO PUT LIGHTS ON HIGH BEAM. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE RECALL AND FIX.
TAKATA RECALL. LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM THAT IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. GM CADILLAC SRX 2010-2016 HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM AND GM WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM.
