TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DURING EVENING HOURS THERE WAS POOR TO NO VISIBILITY WITH THE DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHTS. THE DEALER COURTESY CHEVROLET IN BROUSSARD (1345 EVANGELINE THRUWAY, BROUSSARD, LA 70518, (337) 347-8984) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT DUE TO THE CLOUDINESS OF THE LENS THAT THE HEAD LAMP ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AS THE CONTACT FELT THE FAILURE WAS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT WITH THE LENS, LIGHT FIXTURE, AN INTERNAL ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WHICH SHOULD HAVE A RECALL CAMPAIGN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING AFTER DUSK, THE HEADLAMPS FAILED TO ADEQUATELY ILLUMINATE THE ROADWAY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTO DIMMING FEATURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOYD CHEVROLET CADILLAC BUICK (LOCATED AT 1875 SPARTANBURG HWY, HENDERSONVILLE, NC 28792, (828) 693-3461) AND THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO ADJUST THE HEADLAMPS UPWARDS TO REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ADJUSTMENT FAILED TO REMEDY THE FAILURE AND POTENTIALLY MADE IT WORSE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
HEADLIGHT LOW BEAMS ARE VERY DIM. THEY ARE SO DIM IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO EVEN SEE THEY'RE ON WHEN DRIVING. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SEE IN FRONT OF YOU WHEN IN OPERATION. VERY DANGEROUS, AS I CANNOT SEE WELL IN LOW BEAM.
I NOTICED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2015 CADILLAC SRX BECAME EXTREMELY DIM AROUND JULY OF 2018. IT IS VERY HARD TO SEE WELL WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT, AND IT IS A HAZARD!! I MENTIONED THE PROBLEM WITH THE LIGHTS BEING DIM WHEN I WENT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AT THE DEALERSHIP, BUT I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM. AT THE NEXT OIL CHANGE, I AGAIN COMPLAINED ABOUT THE DIM LIGHT PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE HEADLIGHTS WITH NEW CADILLAC BULBS (UNDER WARRANTY), BUT THAT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEN, ATER MORE COMPLAINING TO THE DEALERSHIP, I CONTACTED CADILLAC. CADILLAC SUGGESTED THAT THE DEALERSHIP CHANGE THE CADILLAC BULBS (NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY) WITH AFTER MARKET BULBS. THOSE BULBS ALSO DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM!!! I AM VERY UNHAPPY, AND AM STILL DRIVING AROUND WITH DANGEROUSLY DIM LIGHTS!!!
CUE SYSTEM FREEZES ALL THE TIME. THIS BEGAN AS SOON AS MY FULL WARRANTY ENDED. I THOUGHT IT WAS A FLUKE INITIALLY. HOWEVER, NOW WITH 54000 MILES, THE CUE SYSTEM IS TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL SEEING THE MASSIVE NUMBER OF CAR OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.
I HAVE NOTICED FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS OF THE 3 YEARS I HAVE OWNED THE 2015 CADILLAC SRX THAT THE LOW BEAM HEAD LAMPS ARE TO DIM TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THIS IS A SERVE SAFETY ISSUE. THE HEADLAMPS THROW NOW RECOGNIZABLE LIGHT ON THE ROAD. THE LIGHTS ARE ON AND HAVE NO DIRECTIONAL ISSUES. CALLS TO MULTIPLE GM DEALERSHIPS AND THE GM CUSTOMER SERVICE WERE MET WITH THE RESPONSE OF NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY ISSUES OR LIKE COMPLAINTS. MY VEHICLE SHOWED NOW EVIDENCE OF PLASTIC LENS DEGRADATION, NOR YELLOWING, NOR CONDENSATION. MULTIPLE FORUMS REPORT THE PROBLEM WITH NO SOLUTION.
THE CADILLAC CUE SCREEN IS FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. I PURCHASED MY CADILLAC NEW FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND BEFORE IT HIT 9,000 MILES THE CUE SCREEN STARTED FREEZING AND SWITCHING RADIO STATIONS AND THE TOUCH SCREEN WOULD NOT WORK. I TOOK IT TO THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP IN LEESBURG, FL AND THEY REPLACED IT. THERE WAS A BACK ORDER ON THE CUE AND IT TOOK 3 MONTHS TO GET REPLACED AND I HAD TO ESCALATE IT THRU GM TO FINALLY GET IT REPLACED AT 3 MONTHS. THAT WAS JUNE 2016. AT 46,000 MILES THE CUE STARTED DOING THE SAME THING IT HAD DONE BEFORE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP IN LEESBURG, FL AND ONCE AGAIN HAD TO HAVE THE CUE REPLACED. MY CO-WORKER ALSO HAS A 2015 SRX AND AT 15,000 MILES SHE ALSO HAD TO HAVE THE CUE REPLACED (SAME DEALERSHIP). NEEDS TO BE A RECALL , FOR PEOPLE OUT OF WARRANTY THIS CAN BE AN EXPENSIVE FIX AND IT'S OBVIOUS THE CUE HAS A DEFECT. WHEN IT WAS FIRST REPLACED IN 2016 I WAS TOLD BY SERVICE THAT THE REASON FOR THE 3 MONTH DELAY WAS DUE TO A BACKORDER BECAUSE SO MANY HAD TO BE REPLACED.
LOW BEAM LIGHTS ARE DANGEROUSLY DIM AND LOW. THEY DO NOT PROJECT HARDLY ANY LIGHT ON THE ROAD. APPARENTLY MANY MANY OWNERS ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND GM IS FAILING TO ADDRESS IT. THEY NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SEEN AT NIGHT!
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE EXTREMELY DIM AND VIRTUALLY WORTHLESS AT NIGHT. THE ROUND CENTER LENS LOOKS CLOUDY. THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE CLEAR OUTER PLASTIC COVERING.
A WARNING LIGHT ON THE CUE SYSTEM HAS LOCKED AND WILL NOT WORK. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES LOOKED CLOUDY INSIDE, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 40,000.
LOW BEAMS ARE VERY LOW TO ALMOST NON EXISTENT. THE BULBS WERE CHANGED OUT TO NO AVAIL IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVER AT NIGHT NOT ONLY TO ME THE DRIVER BUT TO ALL OTHER VEHICLE ON THE ROAD.
THE CUE SYSTEM IS TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE. I HAVE AROUND 57,000 MILES AND BOUGHT THIS CAR AS A CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE WITH AROUND 30K MILES. THE CUE SYSTEM WORKED WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR BUT CERTAIN ICONS LATER STOPPED RESPONDING WHILE THE MILEAGE WAS UNDER 50K. AND NOW NOTHING RESPONDS. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY TOLD ME TO OPEN THE DOOR WHILE THE CAR WAS RUNNING THEN TURN OFF THE CAR AND COUNT TO 30 AND THAT SHOULD UNFREEZE THE CUE. THIS DID NOT WORK. I AM TOLD IT WILL COST ANYWHERE FROM $1200 TO $2500 TO FIX THE CUE AND OTHER CADILLAC OWNERS REPORTED IN FORUMS THAT THE FIX WILL EVENTUALLY STOP WORKING. ACCORDING TO THE FORUMS AND WHAT I COULD SEARCH THIS ISSUE HAS IMPACTED 2013 - 2016 MODELS. GM SHOULD PAY FOR THIS FIX AND THE FIX SHOULD BE PERMANENT. I LOVE THE SRX BUT WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT. THIS CUE SCREEN FREEZE IS WHILE IN PARK AND DRIVE. I TRY SENDING NAVIGATION FROM THE CADILLAC APP AND IT DOES RECOGNIZE RECEIVING THE MAP BUT WON'T LOAD OR GO TO NAVIGATION. WHEN I TOUCH THE HOME BUTTON IT WILL GO BACK TO THE MAIN SCREEN BUT THE FREEZE PREVENTS ANY CHANGES. I CANNOT USE THE NAVIGATION, SYNC THE TEMP OR MODIFY ANY SETTINGS. IT IS TOTALLY FROZEN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DID NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE LIGHTING AND CREATED A VISIBILITY HAZARD. SILVER STAR CADILLAC (3601 AUTO MALL DR, THOUSAND OAKS, CA) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000. Consumer stated no further assistance will be needed.*JB
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE DIM, THE LIGHT BULBS HAVE BEEN CHANGED OUT. THE LIGHTS ARE SO LOW THERE IS LOW VISIBILITY.
HEAD LIGHTS WHEN ON SEEM TO GO DIM. IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM, THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES ARE AFFECTED. MOVING OR STANDING STILL, THE LOW BEAMS DO NOT ADEGUATELY ILLUMINATE THE ROAD IN FRONT OF YOU. HIGH BEAMS ARE FINE, IN MY CASE IT IS THE RIGHT HEADLIGHT. SOME PEOPLE HAVE THE LEFT ONE OR BOTH ARE DIM. CADILLAC WANTS TO CHARGE $1,500 TO FIX SOMETHING THAT IS POORLY ENGINEERED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHUCK NASH OF SAN MARCOS (3209 I-35, SAN MARCOS, TX 78666, (512) 253-8815) WHERE A NEW CRUISE CONTROL AND BACK-UP LIGHT WERE INSTALLED; HOWEVER, THE HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED BECAUSE THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,276. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE SUN ROOF SHATTERED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DE LA FUENTE CADILLAC (1385 E MAIN ST, EL CAJON, CA 92021, (619) 333-8167) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SUN ROOF SHATTERED FROM THE INSIDE, PUSHING THE ROOF OF THE VEHICLE UPWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
WE JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR WEDNESDAY AT DONAHOO CHEVROLET IN FT PAYNE, ALABAMA. WE WENT OUT TO EAT MONDAY NIGHT AND THE HEADLIGHTS SEEMED TO BE VERY DIM AS IF THEY WERE NOT EVEN ON,, COULD BARELY SEE HOW TO DRIVE. HAD TO DRIVE WITH THE LIGHTS ON BRIGHT. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. I CALLED THE DEALER TUESDAY AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE.
ON THE AFTERNOON OF 4/11/2018, I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65-70 MPH ON I-4 IN TAMPA (EASTBOUND). AT APPROXIMATELY 2:05 PM MY MOONROOF LITERALLY SPONTANEOUS EXPLODED INTO A TRILLION PIECES! NO EXTERNAL FORCE INFLUENCED THIS. BY THE GRACE OF GOD I HAD JUST CLOSED MY SUN SHADE 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO THIS. I HAVE PHOTOS OF THE GLASS BREAKAGE AFTER I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY EXIT THE HIGHWAY A FEW MILES AWAY. THE GLASS SHOWS THAT IT BLEW UP AND OUT, NOT IN FROM AN IMPACT.
The low beam head lights have become so dim I Cant see to drive at night. The safety of others are at risk. The item is available for inspection, the dealer's are aware this is a problem on certain years The failure was gradually occuring progressively worse. No warning lamps or codes were evident.
MY CERTIFIED 2015 CADILLAC SRX LEFT THE DEALERSHIP AS AN UNSAFE VEHICLE! THE HEADLIGHTS (OR LACK THEREOF) ARE BARELY VISIBLE AT NIGHT OR IN THE RAIN. WHILE USING THE HEADLIGHTS, THERE IS NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE WHEN THE SWITCH IS OFF OR WHEN IT IS ON. THIS HAS LED TO SEVERAL "CLOSE CALLS' WHILE DRIVING. IN RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM, IT APPEARS THERE ARE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF 2010-15 SRX'S THAT HAVE UNSAFE HEADLIGHTS. BUT YET, NO RECALL. I AM WONDERING HOW MANY MORE COMPLAINTS IT WILL TAKE? THEN TO ADD THE TWO LAWSUITS, AND STILL NOTHING EXCEPT FOR A HALF-HEARTED LETTER FROM CADILLAC "OFFERING" TO REIMBURSE THE OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IN REVIEW, I PURCHASED MY FIRST CADILLAC, EXPECTING A TOP OF THE LINE VEHICLE. IN RETURN, I NOW HAVE A VEHICLE THAT I CAN ONLY DRIVE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS AND SUNNY WEATHER.
THE DIM LIGHTS DO NOT GIVE OFF ENOUGH LIGHT AT NIGHT I HAVE HAD TO PULL OVER SEVERAL TIMES THINKING I WAS GOING OFF THE ROAD. I AVOID DRIVING AT NIGHT AND AVOID HAVING MY GRANDBABY IN THE CAR AT NIGHT FOR FEAR OF A DEADLY CRASH. WHEN I HAVE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT I HAVE TO USE BRIGHTS. THIS IS GOING TO GET ME A TICKET SOMEDAY UNLESS SOMEONE GETS MAD ENOUGH THEY SHOOT ME ON THE HIGHWAY. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE PLEASE.
Q SCREEN CRACKED AND SPREADING, RADIO GLITCHES FREEZES JUMPS AND QUIVERS ON STATIONS
PLEASE HELP ME! I CAN'T SEE TO DRIVE MY 2015 CADILLAC SRX AT NIGHT DUE TO THE DANGEROUSLY DIM HEADLIGHTS. I NEARLY GOT KILLED ON JULY 14. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AFTER DARK, I LITERALLY COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING, IT WAS LIKE DRIVING WITH THE HEADLIGHTS OFF. SO, I SLOWED THE CAR TO 35MPH JUST SO I COULD SEE TO FIND MY EXIT OFF THE HIGHWAY. I USED MY BRIGHT LIGHTS AS MUCH AS I COULD, BUT I WAS BLINDING THE DRIVERS COMING TOWARDS ME. AFTER PURCHASING THIS 2015 CADILLAC SRX IN DECEMBER 2017, I NOTICED THE DIM HEADLIGHTS. AFTER RETURNING FROM VACATION IN MARCH 2018, I TOOK THE CAR TO MY LOCAL DEALER FOR SERVICE. I WAS TOLD THEY INSTALLED A DIFFERENT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY BUT SAW NO IMPROVEMENT, SO THEY PUT THE OLD HEADLIGHTS BACK IN. HOWEVER, THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE BRIGHTER JUST FROM BEING CLEANED. IN JUNE, THE HEADLIGHTS WERE GETTING WORSE, SO I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP. I WAS TOLD A GM REPRESENTATIVE WAS THERE THAT DAY, THEY WOULD SPEAK WITH HIM ABOUT THE PROBLEM, THEN CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. TODAY, JULY 16 I HAD NOT RECEIVED A CALL, SO I CALLED THEM. I HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, JULY 23. I WAS TOLD THIS IS THEIR LAST DITCH EFFORT IN TRYING TO FIX THE HEADLIGHTS. I CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR AFTER DARK PERIOD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, PLEASE HELP!
The contact's husband owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at night, the headlights would dimly illuminate and would not operate as needed without warning. The contact would be forced to use the high beam headlights for clear visibility while driving at night. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed her that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM I CANNOT SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT. I TRIED TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL BULBS WITH LED LIGHTS AND WHILE IT HELPED A LITTLE I STILL CANNOT SEE.

PASSENGER HEAD LIGHT VERY DIM I HAVE REPLACED THE BULB BUT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM VERY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT THERE WAS OR IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT I WOULD LIKE FOR GM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM SINCE THEY ARE AWARE ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. *TR CONSUMER STATED 2 EMAILS WERE SENT REGARDING PASSENGER SIDE HEALD LIGHT (VERY DIM). *JB
THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT SHINE BRIGHTLY ENOUGH. ON A DARK STRETCH OF HIGHWAY ONE MAY ONLY SEE 15-20 FEET IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND THIS IS DANGEROUS, IT IS ALWAYS NECESSARY TO DRIVE WITH THE BRIGHT LIGHTS ON. THE DEALER CHECKED OUT THE VEHICLE AND SAYS THAT THEY ARE NORMAL, BUT THAT IS SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE. I HAVE READ ON THE INTERNET OF SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS AND AT LEAST ONE LAWSUIT IN PROGRESS.
CUE SYSTEM FAULTY AND INOPERABLE AND AFFECTS YOUR PERIPHERAL VISION AND DISTRACTS FROM DRIVING BECAUSE THE SYSTEM FLASHES. THEY ARE INSISTING THAT I HAVE TO SEND THE CORE BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER WHEN I HAVE TO PAY $1200 TO REPLACE IT, THEY WILL SEND IT BACK AND RESELL IT FOR A HIGHER PRICE AND I WANT TO KEEP THE UNIT FOR EVIDENCE.
THE HEADLAMP LIGHTING ON THIS VEHICLE IS TOTALLY INADEQUATE. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT IT IS NECESSARY TO LEAVE THE LIGHTS ON BRIGHT CONSTANTLY; WHEN ON DIM THE LIGHTING IS ABSOLUTELY NOT SUFFICIENT TO PROVIDE SAFETY. WE HAVE HAD TO COMPLETELY STOP DRIVING THIS CAR AT NIGHT DUE TO THIS SITUATION. THIS ISSUE IS COMPOUNDED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE IN THE RAIN, EVEN A LIGHT RAIN. WE HAVE MORE THAN ONCE HAD TO PULL OFF THE ROAD AND WAIT FOR BETTER CONDITIONSE STARTING UP AGAIN. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE IN A MODERN VEHICLE. I HAVE REPORTED THIS BOTH TO THE DEALER AND CADILLAC AND HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN AN APPROPRIATE SOLUTION. IF I REPLACE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IT WILL BE REPLACED WITH AN IDENTICAL ONE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BROGAN CADILLAC (112 US-46, TOTOWA, NJ 07512, (973) 200-6342) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ACCORDING TO COURT DOCUMENTS, GENERAL MOTORS WON'T RECALL THE FAULTY CADILLAC CUE SCREENS, NOR HAS IT OFFERED CUSTOMERS REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIRS. THE LAWSUIT ALLEGES SOME OWNERS HAVE PAID UPWARDS OF $1,500 TO FIX THE ISSUE, SOMETIMES EVEN WHEN THEIR VEHICLES WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED NOR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
GOT IN VEHICLE ON THE EVENING OF DECEMBER 6,2017 IT WAS RAINING COULD NOT SEE DRIVING. IT WAS IF MY HEADLIGHTS WERE OFF. HAD TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE WITH LIGHTS ON HIGH BEAM WHICH WAS NOT VERY MUCH BETTER. THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH HEADLIGHTS ON THE CADILLAC 2015 SRX VEHICLE. I PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND CHECKED VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE MY HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT BLOWN OUT WHICH THEY WERE NOT. I AM HAVING TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH MY HEADLIGHTS ON HIGH BEAM.
THE HEADLIGHT INNER LENSES DEVELOP A CATARACT WHERE AS THE PLASTIC LENS LOOSES ITS ABILITY TO PROJECT AND PRISM THE LIGHT BEHIND IT , THRU THE LENS AND OUT ONTO THE ROAD TRAVEL WAY THUS LOOSING THE ABILITY TO REFLECT LIGHT ONTO THE ROAD , NO ILLUMINATION FROM THE HEADLIGHTS AT ALL ON A CLEAR NIGHT ,

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *TT*JB

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,000.
My Cadillac has had and currently has a cracked spider web screen where you control the vehicles settings, GPS, Temperature for the car and so forth. Due to this I have lost any control to these settings since the cracked screen has caused the touchscreen to not even work and there is no response when you tap the screen. Have reached out to Cadillac and they say it’s not their problem but the screen was not cracked in any kind of accident it was cracked due to the way Cadillac built the screen and the type of materials used to build the screen. Multiple people have had the same issue and Cadillac refuses to recall the touchscreen on these vehicles.
BOTH LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE EXTREMELY DIM MAKING NIGHT VISIBILITY A HAZARD. CADILLAC SERVICE WANT $2500 TO REPAIR.

VISIBILITY ON THE DRIVER SIDE LIMITED TO 20 FEET MAXIMUM. ALMOST HAD A PEDESTRIAN INCIDENT IN A CROSS WALK WHERE I WAS UNABLE TO SEE THE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AS VISIBILITY CONTINUES TO WORSEN

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (DWAIN TAYLOR CHEVROLET BUICK GMC, 1307 S 12TH ST, MURRAY, KY 42071) AND THE LIGHT BULBS WERE REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.
WHILE AT A DEAD STOP AND THEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE, VEHICLE WILL HAVE A LAG BEFORE ANY ACCELERATION OCCURS. LAG CAN BE FROM 5-10 SECONDS. HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES OVER PAST 12 MONTHS. EXTREME SAFETY ISSUE. BEEN TO DEALERSHIP EACH TIME, BUT THEY CANNOT REPRODUCE AND NO DIAGNOSTIC CODES APPEAR. 3.6L ENGINE. I SEE THAT A RECALL FOR A VERY SIMILAR ISSUES WAS PERFORMED ON 2013 MODEL YEAR SRXS. THAT RECALL REQUIRED REPROGRAMMING OF TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM. SAME ISSUE????
WE ARE DRIVING BLIND !!!! PURCHASED OUR 2015 CADILLAC SRX AWD IN NOVEMBER 2017 AFTER RESEARCHING ON BOTH CONSUMER REPORTS AND EDMUNDS... DID OUR TEST DRIVE IN DAYLIGHT... NOW THAT WE'RE OWNERS WE REALIZE THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN AT NIGHT. THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS ARE SO DIM ITS WORSE THAN DRIVING WITH PARKING LIGHTS ONLY. WE ARE NOW SHOCKED TO SEE THAT THERE ARE MANY SERIOUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS VERY PROBLEM ALL OVER THE WEB EVERYWHERE EXCEPT FOR THE TWO ABOVE MENTIONED REVIEWERS .IT'S LITERALLY LIKE DRIVING IN THE DARK. WE HAVE TO COORDINATE WHO HAS THE CAR WHEN JUST TO GET HOME SAFELY. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS!!! THIS IS A SERIOUS FLAW IN GM MANUFACTURING... CANT BELIEVE IT HAD NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. OPERATING THIS VEHICLE AFTER DARK RISKS INJURY OR DEATH. DEALERSHIP TURNING BLIND EYE. THEY WERE HAPPY TO GET RID OF IT? WE WILL NOT LET THIS GO AND INTEND TO DO ALL WE CAN TO EXPOSE, AND DEMAND THIS PROBLEM IS RECTIFIED ASAP.
EXTERIOR FRONT LIGHTS ARE DANGEROUSLY DIM WHEN DRIVING AFTER DUSK AND INTO THE NIGHT TIME. IT IS VERY HARD TO SEE WHILE DRIVING. WHILE STOPPED I CHECKED THE LIGHTS TO SEE IF THEY WERE ON AND THEY WERE BUT WHILE DRIVING I HAVE TO RIDE WITH MY BRIGHT LIGHTS ON TO SEE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER BEEN REPORTED BUT IT IS NOT TRUE. THEY ADJUSTED MY FRONT LIGHTS THINKING IT WAS THE BEAM BUT IT DID NOT HELP THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL SINCE THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED.

THE PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT IS EXTREMELY DIM. I AM HAVING TROUBLE SEEING TO DRIVE AT NIGHT UNLESS LIGHTS ARE ON HIGH BEAM.
