I HAVE TIRES THAT SHOW BULGES ON THE SIDEWALL, THE SUPPLIER STATES THESE ARE WERE THE TIRE WAS PUT TOGETHER, BUT THERE ARE TWO TO THREE PLACES ON THE TIRE THAT ARE NOW SHOWING THESE BULGES. I TRIED TO CONTACT GOOD YEAR TIRE BUT NO ONE WOULD GIVE ME THE HOME OFFICE ADDRESS. DON'T NOW OF ANY ONE THAT HAS A PROBLEM.*AK (DOT NUMBER: 105S TIRESIZE: P235/75R15)
THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A ROLLOVER AFTER HITTING A SMALL POTHOLE IN THE ROAD WHICH RESULTED IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, PRIOR TO THIS ACCIDENT THE CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT THE STIFFNESS OF THE VEHICLE AND THE SUSPENSION. NLM
WHEN APPLYING ABS BRAKES, IF THE ROAD IS WET, BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO FLOOR, CAUSING EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. CAUSE UNKNOWN. DEALER CANNOT IDENTIFY CAUSE. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS.*AK
CLUNKS OF THE COUNSUMER TIRES (ALL FOUR) TREADS BEGAN TO COME OFF, THE TIRE MANUFACTURER SAYS THE THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES WERE "STREET TIRES", IF THAT IS THE CASE THE CONSUMER IS CONCERNED AS TO WHY THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURE WOULD PUT "STREET TIRES" ON A 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN ON THE CONSUMER'S 1/2 MILE GRAVEL ROAD(UNIROYAL TIRES P235/70R15 102S, E4, 0263323 RADIAL TUBELESS STANDARD LOAD 860KG *1896 LBS) AT MAX INFL 240KG PA PSI, TREAD PLIES, SIDEWALL 2 PLIES, P1096306, E26280, 31329). WHEN STARTING VEHICLE FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT DAY ENGINE REVVED TO ITS MAXIMUM ACCELERATION IMMEDIATELY. DRIVER TURNED ENGINE OFF INSTANTLY. WHEN RESTARTED, PROBLEM DID NOT EXIST. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
THE SPARE TIRE ON THIS VEHICLE IS SITUATED IN A SPOT WHERE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE DIRECTLY BEHIND YOUR VEHICLE. THIS BLIND SPOT CAN LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY FOR POLICE AND MEDICAL VEHICLES. I HAVE CONTACTED GMAC AND RECEIVED NO REPLY. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INDIVIDUAL SIT IN THE VEHICLE AND ALL CLAIM THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO SEE. THE TIRE COVERS MORE THAN 1/2 THE REAR WINDOW.*AK
WHENEVER MAKING A SHARP RIGHT TURN FRONT END WOULD MAKE CRACKING NOISES. THEN, IT WOULD HESITATE AND SUDDENLY ACCELERATE. WAS INFORMED THAT COIL SPRINGS WERE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE PLACED UPSIDE DOWN FROM FACTORY.*AK
BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT LIGHT UP WHEN STEPPING ON BRAKES. ALSO, EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER WAS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING. *AK
WHILE DRIVING NOTICED INSIDE OF VEHICLE WOULD OVERHEAT UP TO 120 DEGREES. THIS CAUSED DRIVER'S LEGS TO BECOME VERY RED. HAD TAKEN VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP, AND WAS INFORMED BY MECHANIC THAT PROBLEM WAS OKAY IN THE BEGINNING. WENT BACK TO DEALERSHIP, AND WAS INFORMED THAT PROBLEM LIES WITH WAY VEHICLE WAS BUILT. THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. VEHICLE WAS LEASED. *AK

DRIVER'S SEAT FAILS TO LOCK INTO POSITION ON SEAT TRACK AND WILL SLIDE DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP HAS EXAMINED VEHICLE FIVE TIMES ,AND HAS FAILED TO EFFECTIVELY REMEDY PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / DOCUMENTATION.*AK
A MECHANISM WITHIN THE STEERING COLUMN CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO LOSE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS, THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER ON 3 OCCASIONS FOR THIS PROBLEM, THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THERE IS A NATIONAL BACKORDER ON THE MECHANISM. NLM HAZARD, TURN SIGNAL AND STOP LAMPS ARE ALSO INOPERATIVE. CONSUMER HAS FILED A COMPLAINT WITH CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION. *TT
ELECTRICAL SWITCH KEPT BURNING OUT CAUSING THE TAIL, SIGNAL, AND HAZARD LIGHTS TO GO OUT WITHOUT ANY WARNING. HARD PART REPLACED 3 TIMES.*AK
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING THERE WAS A CONSTANT NOISE. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP, MECHANIC REPLACED WHEEL BEARINGS, AND PROBLEM REOCCURRED. REPLACED FRONT END, AND PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN. REPLACED FRONT END SWITCH AND PROBLEM STILL OCCURS.*AK
ROTORS: FRONT ROTORS FLAKING BADLY - REPLACED AT 22,000 MILES. BACK ROTORS FLAKING BADLY, HAD TO FIGHT TO GET REPLACED AT 34,000 MILES. DEALER SAID THIS PART IS NOT PART OF WARRANTY - IS A "WEAR" ITEM. DRIVER'S SEAT RECLINING LEVER BROKE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. DEALER REPAIRED.*AK
CONSUMER STATES THE ACCELERATOR STICKS UPON TAKE OFF, CONSUMERS WIFE WAS BACKING IN A PARKING SPACE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR BECAME STUCK, SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS NOT PRESSING HARD ENOUGH AS SHE WAS BACKING IN, SHE THEN PRESSED MORE FIRMLY ON THE ACCELERATOR UNTIL IT QUICKLY FREED ITSELF AND THEN ROCKETED BACKWARDS, SHE WAS ABLE TO QUICKLY HIT THE BRAKES AND WAS ABLE TO BRING THE VEHICLE UNDER CONTROL, CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT THE ISSUE IS CONSIDERED REGULAR MAINTENANCE, HOWEVER CONSUMER BELIEVES THIS TO BE A SAFETY DEFECT.*JB

WHILE DRIVING 25-30 MPH AND WITHOUT WARNING INVOLVED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED.*AK THERE WERE 2 INJURIES. *YH
THE CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL REGARDING THE CERTIFICATION LABEL WHICH LOWERED THE PAYLOAD/ AXLE RATING, THE CONSUMER HAD ALREADY INSTALLED A LIGHTWEIGHT SNOWPLOW ON THE VEHICLE AFTER THE DEALER REFERRED HIM TO THE PAYLOAD LABEL ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR FRAME(CERTIFICATION LABEL). BOTH FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS HAVE GONE BAD AND CONSUMER FEELS THIS COULD BE DUE TO OVERLOAD. THE CONSUMER HAS ASKED SEVERAL DEALERS IF HIS VEHICLE IS OVERLOADED AND COULD NOT GIVE HIM AN ANSWER. *SLC *SCC

ACCELERATOR STICKS DUE TO CARBON BUILDUP ON THROTTLE BODY. GASOLINE PREMATURELY BURNS BEFORE REACHING THE CYLINDER. BALL JOINTS HAD TO BE REPLACED. ENGINE OIL LEAKS. COOLANT LEAKS. TRANSMISSION LEAKS. *TT *NLM
LIGHTS ON THE CONSOLE AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS WILL FLICK ON AND OFF AT RANDOM LYWITH CAUSE DETERMINED AS THE AIR INJECTION REACTION PUMP. PH. *AK
CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH WHICH WAS UNDER MANUFACTURER'S RECALL C-01073-S. ALSO THE BRAKE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK, THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. *AK *JB
THE CONSUMER NOTICED WHEN THE VEHICLE REACHED 60 MPH, THE SPEEDOMETER WAVED BACK AND FOURTH, WHICH GAVE THE WRONG READING.*JB
THE CONSUMER NOTICED THAT ONCE THE VEHICLE REACHED 60 MPH THE SPEEDOMETER NO LONGER GAVE CORRECT READINGS. THE NEEDLE WAS MOVING ERRATICALLY FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. *NLM
THERE WAS A CLANKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT WHEEL WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING AND HUB NEED TO BE REPLACED. *NLM
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE STALLS OUT. CONSUMER STATES THAT THERE ARE POWER SURGES. UPON SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT VEHICLE STALLS, AND WILL NOT PROCEED TO GO. ALSO WHEN VEHICLE HAS SAT OVERNIGHT IT WILL NOT START THE NEXT MORNING.*AK
THE TWO RIGHT AND LEFT WHEEL BEARINGS WERE REPLACED.*MR. THE LOWER BALL JOINT AND TIRES HAD TO BE REPLACED. *TS
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING OIL. DEALER DETERMINED THAT THE LEAK WAS UNUSUAL, AND HAD TO TAKE TRANSMISSION APART TO FIND THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK. *AK
THE ADJUSTABLE PEDESTAL ON THE SEAT BASE OCCASIONALLY COLLAPSES WHEN IT IS SUBJECTED TO HIGH TEMPERATURES. *MR INCLUDING THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE IN THE SUMMERTIME. THE PLASTIC WOULD BECOME VERY PLIABLE ALSO WHEN PRESSING THE BASE INTO THE SEAT DURING INSTALLATION, THE ADJUSTMENT NOTCHES SLIPPED. *SCC
REAR BRAKES WERE MAKING A LIGHT GRINDING NOISE. UPON INSPECTION OF THE BRAKES BY THE MECHANIC, THEY NOTICED THAT THE REAR BRAKES/ FRONT BRAKE ROTORS, AND PADS WORE OUT PREMATURELY. *AK
AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE DRIVER NOTICED THAT OIL WAS ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC, WHO INFORMED THE CONSUMER THE OIL LINE WAS LEAKING. PLEASE DESCRIBE FURTHER.
CONSUMER RECEIVED A SAFETY IMPROVEMENT CAMPAIGN NOTICE FROM CHEVROLET FOR THE SEQUENTIAL CENTRAL PORT FUEL INJECTOR #C99066E. ACCORDING TO THE LETTER INJECTOR CAN BECOME PLUGGED, AND HAS A WARRANTY FOR 10 YEARS OR 200,000 MILES. CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS, AND DEALER REFUSED TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER CONTACTED CHEVROLET CUSTOMER SERVICE WHERE A REPRESENTATIVE CONTACTED THE DEALER. THEN, DEALER AGREED TO DO THE SERVICE. CONSUMER WENT BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO ONCE GAIN, REFUSED TO DO THE REPAIRS. *AK
WHEN DRIVING ENGINE CHECK LIGHT APPEAR INTERMITTENTLY. CONSUMER CONTACTED DEALERSHIP ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS, BUT PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. *AK
CONSUMER RECEIVED SEVEN RECALL NOTICES REGARDING THE HAZARD FLASHING WARNING LIGHT SWITCH, THE RECALL WAS RESOLVED AND THE CONSUMER WAS HAVING A HARD TIME TRYING TO GET THE RECALL CLOSED. *PH *JB
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SLOW ACCELERATION. THIS OCCURRED WHEN THE T SPEED ACCELERATED TO 60 MPH. CONSUMER HAD TO APPLY EXCESSIVE FORCE TO THE GAS PEDAL WHEN THIS OCCURRED. THERE WERE 35-60 SECOND DELAYS BEFORE VEHICLE ACCELERATED. VEHICLE HAD BEEN SERVICED 3 TIMES BY THE DEALERSHIP, WHO REPLACED SEVERAL OTHER COMPONENTS, BUT THEY DID NOT ADDRESS THE SLOW ACCELERATION PROBLEM.*AK
