FUEL PUMP PROVIDES LOW FUEL PRESSURE, CAUSING VEHICLE TO HAVE NO ACCELERATION. ASIF IT WERE TRYING TO TAKE OFF IN THIRD GEAR.*AK
CONSUMER STATES 4 WAY FLASHERS AND BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED 5 TIMES AND THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH WAS REPLACED 3 TIMES. HOWEVER, AFTER REPLACEMENT, CONSUMER RECEVIED RECALL NOTICE (01V364000) RELATING TO BRAKE LIGHT AND HAZARD FLASHING LIGHT FAILURE. CONSUMER IS REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES. *TT
STEERING GEAR WORN. EXCESSIVE "PLAY" IN STEERING WHEEL. VEHICLE VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. DEALER IDENTIFIED AS "NORMAL". TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY "ROUGH". POSSIBLE UNIVERSAL JOINT FAILURE. ALSO IDENTIFIED AS "NORMAL" BY DEALER. LOUD PRE-IGNITION NOISE ON ANY ACCELERATION. AGAIN, IDENTIFIED AS "NORMAL". WAS TOLD BY REGIONAL MANAGER "FRED" THROUGH SERVICE MANAGER AT DEALERSHIP THAT NO FURTHER ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. WAS NOT ALLOWED CONTACT WITH "FRED". *AK
DURING MANUFACTURING THE ENGINE BOLTS AND TRANSMISSION BOLTS WERE NOT INSPECTED PROPERLY, THE BOLTS WERE ABOUT TO FALL OFF WHEN VEHICLE WAS IN FOR A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE SERVICE. *MJS
INTERMITTENTLY VEHICLE STALLS, RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL. DEALER HAS ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR VEHICLE TWICE, AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK
IF PARKING BRAKE IS SET AND YOU ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE VEHICLE, THE BOLT THAT SECURES THE PARKING BRAKE ASSEMBLY INSIDE THE WHEEL FAILS. I THINK THIS IS A POTENTIAL FOR CATASTROPHIC BRAKE FAILURE IF THE PARKING BRAKE COMPONENT WERE TO INTERFERE WITH THE MOVEMENT OF THE WHEELS. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND ALL THEY ARE DOING IS REPLACING THE BOLT. THE STATE OF TEXAS VEHICLE INSPECTION REQUIRES SETTING THE PARKING BRAKE AND ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, WHICH WOULD RESULT IN THE FAILURE OF THIS BOLT. THE SERVICE ADVISOR STATED THAT THE BOLT WAS ABOUT THE THICKNESS OF A CRUSHED COKE CAN. I THINK THIS BOLT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH A MORE SECURE BOLT THAT WILL NOT FAIL. *AK

SPARE TIRE CARRIER LOCATED ON THE BACK OF VEHICLE CAUSES POOR VISIBILITY WHEN USING REARVIEW MIRROR. DEALER/MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE, VEHICLE MEETS SPECIFICATIONS. *AK
PIN FROM BOTTOM HINGE OF DRIVER'S DOOR COMES OUT. *AK
CONSUMER WOKE UP AND VEHICLE'S INTERIOR WAS ALL BURNED UP. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT CAUSED BY THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER FELT THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY THE ELECTRICAL SEATS. *AK *ML
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH HE COULD HEAR A RUMBLING NOISE (LIKE A FLAT TIRE), AND FELT VIBRATION COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. *AK
DRIVER DOOR LATCH WOULDN'T LET DOOR CLOSE SMOOTHLY. SOMETIMES LATCH WILL HIT THE SIDE OF THE DOOR . *ML

WHILE USING A JACK WHEN CHANGING A TIRE, THE JACK BENT AND CAUSED VEHICLE TO DROP. DLR HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK *ML
INTERNAL ENGINE NOISE/ROD KNOCK..CHEVROLET IS AWARE A KNOWN PROBLEM EXISTS (AS PER DEALERS SERVICE DEPT) AND THEY HAVE NO FIX AT THIS TIME. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY GIVEN SPEED CONSUMER PUT ON BRAKES AND HEARD A LOUD GRINDING NOISE. ALSO WHILE PUTTING VEHICLE IN REVERSE THERE WAS A NOISE. DEALER SAID NOISE WAS NORMAL. *AK THE BRAKE SLIPPED WHILE COMING TO A STOP MAKING A GRINDING NOISE ON THREE OCCASIONS. *YH
IT POPS OUT OF GEAR. SEEMS TO BE 2ND AND 4TH. THOUGHT PERHAPS THE SHIFT BOOT WAS DEFECTIVE,.IT SEEMS TO BE EXTREMELY TIGHT AGAINST THE SHIFT WHILE IN 2ND AND 4TH GEAR. IT WILL BE GEAR, THEN POP OUT. IT'S HAPPENED TO ME SINCE I PICKED UP THE CAR ON 12/29/99. IT'S HAPPENED TO MY BOYFRIEND WHEN HE DROVE IT. JUST SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE PEOPLE, THEY SAID IT DIDN'T HAPPEN TO THEM. DON'T KNOW WHAT MY NEXT MOVE IS. *AK
VIBRATION IN ENTIRE VEHICLE BETWEEN 40-46 MPH AND DRONE BETWEEN 48-55 MPH. *AK
INTERMITTENTLY HEADLIGHTS/ INTERIOR LIGHTS AND INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS JUST FLICKER ON AND OFF. THE TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP. NOTNING WAS DONE ABOUT THE LIGHTS. WHEN TAKEN TO THE SECOND DEALERSHIP, CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. IN ADDITION, , WHILE DRIVING AT 45 AND TURNING LEFT CONSUMER HEARS MOANING NOISE. NOISE IS CAUSED BY IMPROPER TORQUING ON RIGHT FRONT SUSPENSION. WHINING NOISE IS ALSO COMING FROM SECONDARY AIR PUMP. *AK
WHEN DRIVING HEADLIGHTS TURN ON AND OFF. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. MECHANIC TOLD HIM THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO. *AK
THE BAR ATTACHED BEHIND WINDOWS OBSTRUCTS DRIVER'S VIEW. ITS A BLIND SPOT & CAN NOT SEE OTHER VEHICLES ON RIGHT HAND SIDE. ALSO, FRONT OF THE HOOD IS TAPERED DOWN. TAKING VEHICLE BACK TO DEALER TO CHECK. *AK
THE VEHICLE HAS STALLED NUMEROUS TIMES, ON ONE OCCASION WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED, STEERING LOCKED UP AND AN ACCIDEMT OCCURED, THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. *SLC
POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE REGARDING THE CHEVROLET S10'S AND THE CHEVROLET S10 BLAZERS.*MR THE CONSUMER HAD TO HAVE THE BALL JOINTS ON HER 2000 CHEVROLET BLAZER REPLACED PREMATURELY AT 73000 MILES. *NM

WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH,TRANSMISSION STARTED TO FEEL AS IF IT WAS JUMPING OUT OF GEAR , AND THEN VEHICLE STALLED .DRIVER THEN NOTICED WIRING WAS BURNT.PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP 5 TIMES, FOR THE SAME RECURRING PROBLEM, ENGINE CESSATION WITHOUT WARNING, ON ONE OCCASION THE BLAZER'S ENTIRE COMPUTER WAS REPLACED, HOWEVER, PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. CJ
THE RIGHT SIDE OUTSIDE MIRROR CANNOT BE PROPERLY ADJUSTED TO ELIMINATE A BLIND SPOT. IT LOCKS IN TO A "NORMAL" DRIVING POSITION AND EVEN THE POWER ADJUSTMENT CANNOT MOVE THE MIRROR FAR ENOUGHT OUT. THE PRESET MOUNTED ANGLE IS WRONG. I CALLED THE SERVICE MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME I AM NOT THE FIRST TO COMPLAIN AND EVEN HE, WHEN HE WAS USING A BLAZER NOTED THAT THE MIRROR WOULD NOT TAKE A PROPER SETTING. HE TOLD ME HE EVEN "CALLED AROUND" AND WAS TOLD THAT'S THE WAY IT'S COMES FROM THE FACTORY AND CANNOT BE CHANGED. IT MUST BE CORRECTED SO THE BLIND SPOT ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS ELIMINATED. *AK
SPARE TIRE WHICH MOUNTED ON THE REAR CARGO DOOR, OBSTRUCTS DRIVER'S VIEW WHEN LOOKING OUT THE REARVIEW MIRROR , AND IF ANOTHER VEHICLE IS CLOSE TO THE REAR OF CONSUMER'S VEHICLE. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
ON SEPT. 30, 1999 CHEVROLET SENT A STOP DELIVERY ORDER #99063 TO THE DEALERS. I PURCHASED MY CAR ON OCT. 30, 1999. AT THE TIME I DIDN'T KNOW OF THE DEFECT. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED TILL MAY 23, 2000. THE CAR WAS ILLEGALLY SOLD AND COULD HAVE CAUSED MAJOR BODILY INJURY. THE MOTOR WAS REPLACED ON JUNE 8, 2000 BY THE LOCAL DEALER. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED BY CHEVROLET OF THIS PROBLEM ONLY THE DEALER OF PURCHASE (WHO DIDN'T MAKE THE *AK
IMPROPER ASSEMBLY OF DOORS HAS COMPROMISED THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS CAUSED A SAFETY DEFECT ON THE RIGHT FRONT AND REAR DOORS OF VEHICLE. BOTH DOORS ARE WELDED IMPROPERLY TO VEHICLE BODY. BOTH DOORS REQUIRE REPLACEMENT OF ALL HINGES WELDED TO VEHICLE BODY AND REAR DOOR SHELL REQUIRES REPLACEMENT DUE TO CREASE ON EXTERIOR SHEET METAL. GM FACTORY AUTHORIZED BODY SHOP WILL NOT CERTIFY WELDING TO BE TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS. THIS VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE. GM HAS REFUSED TO EXCHANGE VEHICLE. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE A FATAL INJURY IN ORDER TO RECALL OR FIX THE PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP. *AK

WAS PUT ON PUTER BY DEALER AND SAID OK,CHANGED GRADE AND STATIONS PER DEALER TO NO EFFECT KEPT RECORDS PER DEALER , MY TRADE IN ONLY HAD 13,000 MILES ON IT AND SHOW ROOM CONDITION,WITH ALL ITEMS ADDED, DIESIEL GOT 14 MPG CITY ,WANT SAME VEHICLE I TRADED. *AK
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30-35 MPH ,AND TO AVOID A CRASH CONSUMER RAN INTO A TREE HEAD-ON. UPON IMPACT, DUAL AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSING INJURIES.*AK

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE REAR WHEELS IS 3 INCHES CLOSER THAN THE FRONT WHEELS, THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE REAR WHEELS IS 64 INCHES WHILE THE FRONT WHEEL DISTANCE IS 67 INCHES, THE DEALER MEASURED OTHER BLAZERS AND FOUND THIS DIFFERENCE IS PRESENT IN ALL THE BLAZERS. NLM
