Hydraulic lifts trunk hood. No warnings. Trunk lid fell on neck and back
The airbag system failed to deploy during a side-impact collision. The vehicle is a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro LS. The vehicle was declared totaled after the accident and may be available for inspection through the insurance company if requested. Description of the Incident and Safety Risk: While driving down the street and coming around a curve, another vehicle experienced a tire blowout and lost control. The driver attempted to correct the vehicle but crossed into my lane. I attempted to turn my vehicle toward the right to avoid a head-on collision, but the other vehicle T-boned my car on the driver’s side. The impact was severe. The other vehicle struck my car twice, which caused my vehicle to spin and come to rest on a curb. During the crash, none of the airbags deployed, including the driver airbag, despite the severity of the side impact. Because of the damage to the driver’s side door, it was crushed inward, and I had to pull my leg inward and exit through the passenger side door. During the collision, my head struck the steering wheel, and my back became very sore from the force of the impact. The failure of the airbags to deploy placed my safety at serious risk, as they could have helped prevent or reduce head and upper body injuries during the crash. Inspection / Investigation: The incident has been reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The vehicle has been evaluated by the insurance company following the accident and was declared totaled. Warning Lights or Prior Symptoms: There were no warning lights, airbag alerts, or system messages prior to the crash. The airbag system appeared to be functioning normally before the accident.

The contact stated that while driving 37 MPH and approaching a curve in the road, the “Service Power Steering” warning light illuminated, and the steering wheel seized. The contact used an excessive amount of force to steer the vehicle and drove to a nearby parking lot. After the vehicle was parked for approximately 6 hours, the contact restarted the vehicle, and the vehicle regained power steering functionality. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who refused to service the vehicle due to its age of the vehicle. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle and starting the engine, the heat would enter through the vents and failed to remain off. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed that the blend door was faulty causing the cabin of the vehicle to remain hot when the vehicle was driven. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 169,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving 30 MPH, the clutch pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. Additionally, the gear shifter had seized. Apparently it is a known issue with repair shops. The 5th bow of the convertible top is a faulty part that when bent causes leaks within the vehicle. These leaks bcome massive and could cause mold within the rear floor panel. I've replace the part in 2018 and now 2024. However, the repair shop is now telling me the part is nolonger manufactured and can be located in the country.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the blend door passenger's side was not working as intended. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or local dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 156,000.
The radio, HVAC control panel went blank. The radio, fan, blinker sound and HVAC indicator lights cycle on and off. Unless functionality is disconnected, you can’t drive without the radio going on and off, the speakers crackling, and the panel screen blank not allowing visibility of HVAC position. The problem has been reproduced by the dealer. And the internet reports the same issue from multiple owners with similar vehicle. The dealer and Chevrolet technical assistance center TAC have attempted to diagnose the problem without correcting the problem as of yet. Chevrolet has not taken responsibility for for correction or offered cost assistance. The condition first appeared as the radio going on and off uncontrollably, speakers crackling, and the panel going blank.
3rd brake light randomly goes dim online thousands of people have the same issue, it needs to be a recall. Light diodes are getting bad and the other half are cracking from the heat of the window. Chevy changed the like to the trunk lid. Seems suspicious to me. Chevy needs to make it right.its federal law to have a 3rd brake light.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the radio turned off independently. The contact replaced the fuse, and the radio became operable. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred and in addition the turn signals were not fully functional. The contact became aware that whenever the turn signal was activated, the turn signal did not make the clicking sound as designed. The contact stated that there were several unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, a diagnostic test was not completed due to the cost. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 199,000. The VIN was unavailable.
Radio/HVAC/Audible Chimes (available for inspection). My and others safety are at risk every day when driving this car. First the radio does not work at all the HVAC controls are tied into the radio and they work intermittent (windows fog) the whole center dash shuts off and on around every 3 seconds. It is very distracting at night flashing from when I start it until I shut it off and I have a one hour commute. I no longer have chimes like keys left in ignition, lights on, and hazard lights are also effected. Everything worked fine prior to radio failure. Has not been inspected by dealer. Ran off roadway into ditch lights flashing startled me and I jerked the wheel to the left with minor damage.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that water was leaking into the trunk of the vehicle during inclement weather. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring for 4 years. Additionally, the contact stated that a message regarding theft was displayed while in the process of turning off the vehicle. The contact became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V346000 (Electrical System). The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to tow the vehicle to their location for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 123,000.
The contact owned a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The vehicle was destroyed and towed away. The contact stated that during the incident the accelerator pedal automatically depressed but the cruise control was not activated. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 77,000.

Was driving and my knee hit the ignition and the key turned my car off disabling the whole car and forcing me to pull over and restart the car.
My car no have heater
My 2013 Camaro had 89k miles, garage kept in excellent condition. My vehicle had never given me any issues and has impeccable maintenance records. I was pulling out of a parking spot when my engine started riving and jerking and I accelerated while in reverse and hit a concrete post behind me. I applied the brake and placed the car in drive. My car took off with a high speed of acceleration with my brakes still applied, and accelerated out of control. It followed the same path back into the parking spot ( I could not stir it) jumped the curb and ran through a brick wall finally coming to a stop in the middle of the business. The engine was still racing and in drive but the car had finally stopped and in a state of rest. I had to put the car into park and kill the engine. I could not control the car, the engine was racing with high rpm’s on its own, and driving in “ auto pilot” for lack of better term. Not one air bag deployed despite the fact I ran through a brick wall and totaled the car.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while driving 10 MPH and coming out of the driveway, the vehicle emitted a popping sound and the turn signal was engaged but failed to respond. Additionally, the contact stated that the speedometer turned black. The contact stated that the low oil pressure warning light was illuminated; however, upon taking the vehicle to a local Pep Boys, she was informed that there was enough oil in the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring intermittently. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle would be repaired at her own expense since the VIN was not included in a recall associated to the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.
I was driving and the car lost complete power and a message appeared that indicated Service Power Steering. This has happened twice once at approximately 45 to 50 miles per hour and the second time turning at about 10 miles per hour. The car started shaking right before the failure with the power steering.
The steering has become hard to turn the vehicle. Vehicle is a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro with a V8 engine. GM issued Service Bulletin PIC5643D which includes 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Equipped with any V8 Engine (RPO LS3 or LSA or L99) but when I called GM, they said there are no special actions as the steering doesn't come up under the VIN and recommended filing this complaint with the NHTSA. They could give no information regarding repairs only recommending taking it to a dealer. A quick Goggle search reveals GM is aware of the problem but doesn't want to address it unless the NHTSA forces them to do so. Consumers have spent thousands of dollars trying to fix this issue to no avail. Loss of steering has caused some consumers to crash posing a significant danger to society as a whole. Please force GM to address this issue for the safety and security of society as a whole. There is currently a recall for the ignition swich which GM said has nothing to do with the steering issue.
The contact's sister owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle stalled and lost electrical power. The check engine warning light illuminated and the "Engine Reduce Power" and “Ignition Switch Failure" messages were displayed. The contact veered to the side of the road. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after several attempts however, the vehicle would not run smoothly while driving. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving and while stopped at the traffic light. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic several times where it was diagnosed that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 19E064000 (Electrical System). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 97,300.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shuddered and lost motive power while depressing the accelerator pedal. The stabilitrak and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer and had the engine lifters replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. After the recent failure, the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it remained in their possession. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no additional assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the radio, air conditioning unit, and other electrical features became inoperable without warning. Radio has been popping on and off for 4 years. Now it only Works randomly. The heat and air will not work without the radio working and you can not hear blinkers going. There are thousands of exact same complaints for this vehicle… why is this not being recalled?
I’ve two pictures that I didn’t upload to the complaint about the Chevrolet Camaro blend door issue that I just submitted.
Hello, My name is Sharris Bridges, I’m the owner of a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. I currently can’t defrost my car and can’t see the road because I have no heat. The Chevrolet Camaro has a issue with the blend door (temperature control door). It’s a piece of plastic that breaks which causes you not to have any heat. I was told by the dealership I would’ve to get the dash and windshield taken out just to get the blend door fixed. The bill they showed me was $20+ (majority in labor) for a issue that plenty people are having with the Camaro. This should be a recall! I’ve no heat, I can’t defrost my car, and more. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K0jajaoc-ro https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s0gakV_mGiY https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Py-2ukNVAGs https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tL3CaKzVKm4 Consumer stated they’ll need to take out the windshield and dash to get to the area which needs fixing.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the radio module would intermittently shut off without warning while driving at various speeds. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and informed him that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the radio entertainment display malfunctioned and flickered off and on. During the failure, the turn signal alert, seat belt, and door chimes were all inaudible. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and the local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,000.
INTERMITANTLY THE CAR WILL NOT SHIFT INTO GEAR. YOU HAVE TO FORCE THE SHIFT INTO 1ST GEAR THEN INTO SECOND, AND I AM TALKING REALLY FORCING SHIFTER INTO GEAR.... AT TIMES THE SHIFTER WILL NOT SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR... THEN OTHER TIMES IT RUNS JUST PERFECTLY... IT IS HAPPENING MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY AND IS DANGEROUS. BELOW IT IS ASKING WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN - THIS A FREQUENTLY OCCURING PROBLEM, AND I SEE ONLINE MAY OWNERS ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH DEALERS OFFERING NO HELP. OR PAYING FOR A REPAIR AND PROBLEM PERSISTS.
PLEASE HELP ME. I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH ROTOLO CHEVROLET IN FONTANA, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING ME WITH A NEW REPLACEMENT KEY IN EXCHANGE FOR THE CAMARO KNEE-KEY RECALL NO. 14V346KEY WITHOUT CHARGE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR WITH THE ORIGINAL KEY THAT CAME WITH THE CAMARO, MY SAFETY IS AT RISK, AND ROTOLO CHEVROLET IS WRONGFULLY CHARGING $506.00 FOR THE RECALL REPLACEMENT I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF MY 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO (VIN: [XXX]) AND I ONLY HAVE THE ORIGINAL KEY THAT CAME WITH THE CAR WHEN PURCHASED IN 2013 (SEE PICTURES). ON SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2021, I HAD AN 11:30 A.M. APPOINTMENT WITH ROTOLO CHEVROLET IN FONTANA, CALIFORNIA TO REPLACE MY ORIGINAL KEY DUE IT BEING RECALLED. ROTOLO CHEVROLET ADVISOR [XXX] SAID I HAD TO PAY $506.00. [XXX] SAID THAT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE ORIGINAL KEY (HE HELD MY KEY PERSONALLY AND CONFIRMED IT WAS THE ORIGINAL; NOT A RECALL REPLACEMENT TWO-PART KEY) HE CANNOT REPLACE THE KEY UNLESS I PAY FOR IT AS HIS PAPERWORK SAYS THE RECALL WAS COMPLETED. I EXPLAINED HIS RECORD IS INCORRECT AS THE ONLY KEY I HAVE IS THE ORIGINAL. WHILE AT ROTOLO CHEVROLET, I PLACED AN ORDER FOR A NEW KEY EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT AGREE WITH BEING CHARGED $506.00 FOR A RECALL REPLACEMENT KEY. I HAD TO CONTINUE WITH THE PROCESS TO ORDER A NEW KEY BECAUSE OF MY SAFETY. DUE TO THE RECEIPT STATING DECLINED REPAIRS, I CALLED ROTOLO CHEVROLET ON MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2021. I SPOKE WITH ALMA AND SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO EXPLAIN MY RECALL KEY MATTER WITH A MANAGER ([XXX]), AND TRANSFERRED ME TO [XXX]. REGARDING THE ERROR ON THE RECEIPT STATING I DECLINED THE REPLACEMENT KEY. I ONLY DECLINED THE CHARGE OF $1,492.00, DUE TO A SHORT IN THE CONNECTION TO MY ONSTAR AND RADIO. THIS WAS TOO EXPENSIVE. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME $180.00 FOR NO WORK DONE. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *TR
HEAD UNIT: AC KICKS ON AND OFF, RADIO WON'T PLAY, BLACK SCREEN ON STOCK HEAD UNIT, TRIPS OFF AND ON, BLINKER SOUNDS WON'T WORK, MAKES ELECTRICAL TRIP OUT.
THE RADIO STOPPED WORKING. SOON AFTER THE HEAT/AIR BLOWING WAS KICKING ON AND OFF. EVEN WHEN BLOWING YOU CANNOT CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE. THEN THE GAUGES STARTED BLINKING AND HAVE NOT CAME BACK ON FOR A WHILE. YOU CANNOT HEAR YOUR TURN SIGNALS OR SEE ANYTHING ON THE CONTROL SCREEN.
MY RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF-VERY DISTRACTING TO MY DRIVING AND MAKES A LOUD POPPING SOUND FROM SPEAKERS-WHICH IS STARTLING. ALONG WITH THIS MY DEFROST TURNS ON AND OFF WHICH SOMETIMES LIMITS MY VISIBILITY. THIS HAPPENS WHILE THE CAR IS PARKED AND WHILE DRIVING INTERMITTENTLY. IT HAPPENS ABOUT 20 TIMES WHILE DRIVING A SHORT DISTANCE OF ABOUT 10 MILES. IT ALSO HAPPENED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE.

MY ZL1 CAMARO HAS HAD A ELECTRONIC STEERING (EPS) FAILURE WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD. APPARENTLY, FAILURE OF EPS IS COMMON WITH THE CAMARO AND GM/CHEVROLET HAS A TSB ISSUED TO HELP DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE. TSB DOCUMENT IS PIC5643E. I HAVE ATTACHED IT HERE. THIS CAN HAS 40,070 MILES ON IT AND IS IN IMMACULATE CONDITION. THE CHEVROLET DEALER JUST DIAGNOSED THIS ISSUE, AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME $2600 FOR REPLACING THIS PART. THIS IS A SAFETY ITEM, AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DRIVE THIS CAR WITHOUT THIS STEERING WORKING. THIS IS ALSO A $60,000 CAR. NO ONE AT CHEVROLET IS DOING ANYTHING TO HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. I HOPE THIS COMPLAINT WILL BE HELPFUL TO SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE.
WHILE DRIVING, MY RADIO WILL POP AND SHUT OFF, WHICH ALSO CAUSES MY AC TO NOT WORK. RECENTLY IT HAS ALSO EFFECTED MY TURN SIGNALS AND OTHER DASH BOARD AREAS AND IT DOES IT NO MATTER IF I'M LEGIT DRIVING OR SITTING STILL. THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDRED OF PEOPLE HAVING THIS ISSUE AND NOTHING HAS FIXED IT YET! *TR
BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR LEAKING AND DRIPPING OVER ENGINE INTERNALS. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH GM: SEE SERVICE BULLETIN: 09-05-22-005C. HOWEVER, GM IS STATING THIS WILL NOT BE REPAIRED UNLESS THE VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. UPON ENCOUNTERING SOME BRAKING ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE, I INSPECTED THE RESERVOIR AND DISCOVERED THE LEAKING FLUID, WHICH HAS STARTED TO EAT AWAY AT THE PAINT IN THE ENGINE BAY. I'M VERY CONCERNED THE FLUID WILL LEAK OUT AND CAUSE A FIRE, OR CAUSE MY BREAKS TO STOP WORKING COMPLETELY. AS AN ATTORNEY, I WOULD THINK THAT GM WOULD WANT TO LIMIT ITS LIABILITY AND REPAIR THIS ISSUE TO, REGARDLESS OF WARRANTY COVERAGE. SHOULDN'T THIS BE A FORMAL RECALL?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS FLICKERED ON AND OFF WHILE THE VEHICLE STOPPED OR BEING DRIVEN. ADDITIONALLY, THE BLOWER MOTOR ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 104,000.
I'M HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES CAUSING MY RADIO, AC, AND TURN SIGNALS TO MALFUNCTION. IN ADDITION IT'S MAKING LOUD AND DISTRACTING POPPING AND SQUEALING NOISES, AND SOUNDS THAT MAY BE ELECTRICAL SPARKING NOISES. GM TOLD ME IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY SO THEY DON'T CARE. IT HAPPENS WHENEVER THE IGNITION IS ON (ALL TYPES OF STREETS & FREEWAY), BUT NOT IN ACCESSORY. *TR

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH MY RADIO FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS NOW. THE PROBLEM STARTED WHEN I PRESSED ON MY BRAKES IN A CITY STREET AND THE RADIO TURNED OFF AND TURNED BACK ON AFTER A FEW SECONDS. I FOUND IT ODD, BUT IGNORED IT INITIALLY. THIS PROBLEM STARTED TO HAPPEN MORE REGULARLY, WITH A STRONG ASSOCIATION BETWEEN THE RADIO TURNING OFF AND BACK ON TO USING THE BRAKES ON MY CAR. OVER THE COURSE OF SEVERAL MONTHS, THE PROBLEM BECAME MORE SIGNIFICANT, HAPPENING MORE FREQUENTLY DURING MY DRIVES, AND NO LONGER ASSOCIATED WITH BRAKING, IT WOULD JUST HAPPEN RANDOMLY NOW. THE RADIO WOULD TURN ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY DURING MY DRIVES, WHETHER I WAS ON A CITY STREET OR HIGHWAY. AT THIS POINT, MY AIR WOULD ALSO TURN ON AND OFF WHEN THE RADIO WOULD START GLITCHING. THERE WERE TIMES WHEN I WOULD TURN ON MY CAR AND THE RADIO JUST WOULDN'T TURN ON AT ALL. THERE WAS ONE TIME THAT IT TOOK 20 MINUTES INTO MY DRIVE FOR THE RADIO TO FINALLY TURN ON, ONLY FOR IT TO START TURNING ON AND OFF AGAIN. THIS PROBLEM CAN BE VERY DISTRACTING WHILE DRIVING, AND MAY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. AS A RESULT, I HAD TO REMOVE THE RADIO FROM MY CAR AND I JUST DRIVE IN SILENCE. THE AIR NO LONGER TURNS ON AND OFF AND I CAN DRIVE PEACEFULLY, EVEN THOUGH I WOULD LOVE TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO WHILE I DRIVE.
RADIO STOPS WORKING INTERMITANTLY AND TURN SIGNAL IS INAUDIBLE WHEN THIS HAPPENS . AN INADVERTANT TURN SIGNAL COULD CAUSE SOMEONE TO PULL OUT IN FRONT OF YOU THIS IS AN INTERRMITANT PROBLEM , BUT HAPPENS EVERYTIME I DRIVE THIS CAR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE RADIO FLICKERED ON AND OFF CAUSING THE BATTERY TO DISCHARGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED WHILE THERE WAS A WINDOW ERROR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,146.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO THE VEHICLE DASHBOARD BLACKED OUT AND STARTED TO LOOSE POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET DIAGNOSED BY A CERTIFIED DEALER THERE WERE NO CONSEQUENSES, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THAT RECOMENDED A NEW BATTERY. WHILE WATING A RED LIGHT, THE CAAELERATOR WAS DEPRESSED AND THE SMELL OF BURNING WIRES STARTED AND STARTED TO LOOSE POWER. THE FAILURE STARTED THREE YEARS AGO AND IT WORSEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
RADIO CUTS OFF WITH LOUD CRACKING NOISE AND NO LONGER WORKS. AC IS NOW AFFECTED. RECENTLY CAR CUT OFF RANDOMLY IN THE MIDDLE OF TURNING. RADIO HAS ALREADY BEEN REPLACED ONCE BY DEALERSHIP.
HVAC BLEND DOOR FAILS DUE TO FAULTY DESIGN. THIS CAUSES THE AC TO PERFORM INCORRECTLY AND ONLY BLOW HOT AIR IN THE WARM/HOT SEASON. USING THE HEATER IN THE WINTER MELTS THE BLEND DOOR HINGE CAUSING THIS MALFUNCTION.
WHEN I START MY VEHICLE MY RADIO DOESN'T TURN ON RIGHT AWAY. THE AC CONTROL LIGHTS FLICKER ON AND OFF. IT CAN VARY AT TIMES BUT CAN BE UP TO 5 MINUTES ON SOME DAYS. THE RADIO WILL FINALLY WORK. BUT AFTER 20 MINUTES OF DRIVING THE RADIO CUTS OUT AND ISN'T AS LOUD ANYMORE. I'M ALSO BEGINNING TO NOTICE MY TURN SIGNAL IS CUTTING OUT AS WELL. IT'S SLOWING DOWN. AS IF THE BATTERY IS BEING DRAINED. I NOTICE WHEN U TURN OFF THE CAR ALMOST EVERY TIME THE RADIO WILL TURN OFF COMPLETELY BEFORE I OPEN THE DOOR. I CAME ACROSS SOME OTHER PEOPLE ONLINE WHO HAD THE SAME ISSUES. MOST WHO BELIEVE THAT THE UNIT BEHIND THE RADIO DISPLAY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND REPROGRAMMED. WHICH IN MY CASE SEEMS TO BE THE ANSWER. WHICH IS TO MUCH PROBLEMS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. AS FAR AS WHERE IT'S AT NOW. IT COULD GET WORSE DOWN THE ROAD.
