I JUST NOTICED THAT THERE HAS BEEN A FEW RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE AND IVE DONE SOME REPAIRS ON IT SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT BUT NOT ON ANY OFF THE PARTS THAT WERE ONCE RECALLED. I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE THAT MY CAR WAS NEVER FIXED AFTER THE RECALL WAS ISSUED BECAUSE THE CAR STILL HAS MOST OF THE ORIGINAL PARTS ON IT. SO IF I CAN GET THESE PROBLEMS FIXED J NEED TO ASAP.

THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WAS NOT REGISTERING THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE OTHER DAY WHILE DRIVING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION THE POWER STEERING ABRUPTLY STOPPED WORKING ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT! THERE IS A WARNING ON THE DASH THAT GOES OUT AFTER SHUTTING THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTING IT. THE POWER STEERING WORKS FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN ABRUPTLY STOPS WORKING AGAIN WITHOUT NOTICE!
TAKATA RECALL THE PROBLEMS I'M HAVING WITH MY CAR IS THAT THE LOCKS KEEP UNLOCKING AND LOCKING AND WON'T LET MY CAR STARTUP. IT LOCKS ME OUT AND WHEN I PUT THE KEY IN THE SWITCH IT WON'T CRANK AND THE ONLY WAY THAT I'M ABLE TO GET THE KEY OUT OF THE SWITCH IS IF I JUMP IT OFF. I WAS AT HOME WHEN IT HAPPENED PARKED.
TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AFTER STARTING VEHICLE. SHIFTED FROM P TO R AND THE SHIFT WAS HARD. SHIFTED TO D AND A CLUNK OCCURRED. VEHICLE DID NOT DRIVE CORRECTLY. SHUT OFF VEHICLE AND STARTED IT AGAIN. PROBLEM WENT AWAY. THIS COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS IF IT HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING AT SPEED.

BILLY NAVARRE CHEVROLET IN LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V073000 (STEERING) HAD CLOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,379.
THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH, THAT HAS A PLASTIC FINISH, BROKE AND CRACKED AT THE POINT THAT MEETS THE STEERING COLUMN. MY RIGHT SIDE HEADLIGHT WENT OUT, WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN THE DARK GOING TO WORK WHICH IS 10 MILES ON CITY STREETS . THE NEXT DAY I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE CHEVROLET DEALER WHO I FREQUENTLY BRING FOR REPAIRS. THE SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THE THAT THIS IS FLORIDA AND HEAT DOES TERRIBLE THINGS. MY CAR LIGHTS MAY HAVE ALL GONE OFF AND CREATE A SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM. MY CAR IS NOW AT THE CHEVROLET DEALER FOR REPAIR IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 4 DAYS THEY ARE ORDERING A NEW PART. PLUS LABOR , ESTIMATED COST $400.00 MILEAGE ON MY CAR IS 88,694.
CAR HAS A GAS LEAK AND A RECALL IS IN PLACE IN CERTAIN STATES FOR 2006 AND 2007 BUT NOT 2005 AND NOT IN ALL STATES. MY 2005 HAS A GAS LEAK AND USES THE SAME PARTS AS THE 2006 SO THE 2005 NEEDS RECALLED TOO IN ALL STATES.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING ASSIST WHICH CAUSED THE STEERING WHEEL TO BECOME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. RODGERS AUTO GROUP LOCATED AT (2720 S. MICHIGAN AVE CHICAGO, IL) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 10V073000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
MY WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH IN OUR 2005 CHEVROLET COBALT ON 23 FEBRUARY 2018. CAR LOST POWER TO POWER STEERING MOTOR, ABS BRAKES, AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AFTER HITTING A TREE DUE TO LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKING ABILITY. I DROVE THE CAR THE MORNING BEFORE THE CRASH AND NOTICED THE GAUGES AND SPEEDOMETER FLUCTUATING MOVING ALL AROUND, POWER STEERING LIGHT FLASHING ON DASH, I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR IGNITION OFF AND RESTARTED CAR IT THEN WENT AWAY. MY WIFE THEN DROVE THE CAR GOING TO HER WORK AND SHE CALLED ME ABOUT 5 MINUTES AFTER LEAVING OUR HOUSE SAYING SHE HAS LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR WITH NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES, SHE WAS SCARED AND HYSTERICAL AND SAID SHE HAD CRASHED UNDER A TREE WITH IN 1 MILE OF OUR HOUSE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACTING THE TREE. I WENT TO HELP HER, I MISSED SEEING THE CAR ON THE FIRST PASS BY, BECAUSE IT WAS IN A BRIAR PATCH UNDER A TREE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES AND THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE DONE. SHE IS VERY LUCKY THAT SHE WAS NOT INJURED. THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR RECALLS FOR POWER STEERING MOTOR(2) AND IGNITION SWITCH (1). IT WAS NOT RAINING THE DAY OF THE CRASH, SHE CRASHED APPROXIMATELY 10:20 AM. I PULLED THE CAR OUT OF THE BRIAR PATCH AND DROVE IT BACK TO OUR HOUSE. I FEEL THAT THIS CRASH WAS DUE TO THE CAR LOSING POWER TO STEERING, BRAKING AND AIR BAGS. MY WIFE SAID THERE WAS A ON COMING CAR, THAT SHE WAS TRYING TO AVOID HITTING, WHEN THE CAR ENTERED THE GRASS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD THE SOFT GROUND PULLED THE CAR OFF THE ROAD INTO THE FIELD AND CAME TO A STOP AFTER HITTING A BRIAR PATCH AND TREE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE MY WIFE OR SOMEONE ELSE COULD BE DEAD BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS THE CHEVROLET COBALT HAS HAD. I FILED A CLAIM WITH OUR INSURANCE COMPANY WITH $500 DEDUCTIBLE, SO WE WILL PROBABLY BE WITHOUT A CAR BECAUSE OF THIS ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF DEFECTIVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR.
THE FUEL LINE RUST OUT AND LEAKS GAS. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION BUT APPARENTLY NOT COVERED BY RECALL 12V459000. THIS GAS LEAK SHOULD DEFIANTLY INCLUDED IN THAT RECALL. MY CAR IS DRIVEN BY A TEENAGER AND HE DID NOT NOTICE THE LEAK UNTIL I SAW IT. THE REPAIRS WERE OVER $800.00. THIS HAPPENED TO BOTH OF OUR CHEVY COBALTS IN THE SAME WEEK.
THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I HAVE TRIED TO GET A RESPONSE FROM NHTSA TO REMEDY A ONGOING PROBLEM WITH GM AND THE EPS ISSUES THAT HAS PLAGUED ALL OWNERS OF COBALTS-G5-G6-SATURN ION-ETC. BUT IT IS APPARENT GM IS TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THE PROBLEM. IT IS BLAINTENTLY OBVIOUS WHEN CONSUMERS DO CONTACT GM DIRECTLY THEIR REPLY IS THAT THEY HAVEN'T HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM. I CAN AS WELL AS OTHERS TESTIFY THAT ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND FORUMS ARE OUT THERE. SO HOW CAN THEY SAY IT IS SOMETHING THEY HAVEN'T HEARD OF? THERE'S TOO MUCH MONEY TO BE MADE OFF OF REPAIRS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2005 CHEVROLET COBALT. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND THE POWER STEERING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. AS A RESULT, THE DRIVER CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE TRAFFIC BARRIER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN I-69 FROM FORT WAYNE AND THE STEERING HAD ABRUPTLY GONE OUT AND I HAD NO POWER STEERING. I MANAGED TO SLOW DOWN AND PULL ONTO THE SHOULDER. SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND RESTARTED THE ENGINE AND IT SEEMED TO HAVE TEMPORARILY FIX THE PROBLEM ENOUGH FOR ME TO MAKE IT HOME. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TINE IT HAS HAPPENED. I ALSO LET MY DAUGHTERS USE THE CAR TO DRIVE TO COLLEGE AND BACK. I WOULD HATE TO HAVE IT GO OUT ON THEM NOT BEING FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO CORRECTLY GAIN CONTROL OF A VEHICLE WITH NO POWER STEERING. IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO HAVE THE LOSS OF LIFE DUE TO GM'S COMPLETE DISREGARD TO THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS THEY SEEM TO PASS OFF ONTO THE CONSUMER MARKET. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER STEERING AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF OWNERS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. WHY WON'T GM FIX THIS ISSUE BEFORE ANOTHER LIFE IS TAKEN. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER HOW I WAS DRIVING TO KNOW THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE EPS SYSTEM. I HAVE SENT A MESSAGE BEFORE AND HAVE NEVER HAD A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE VIA EMAIL OR MAIL DELIVERY. I WANT THIS TAKEN CARE OF OR I WILL NEVER BUY NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY A GM PRODUCT DUE TO THE TOTAL DISREGARD OF HUMAN LIFE OVER SAVING (CORPORATE) THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. 'TAMARA RECALL' THE EPS IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. WHEN MAKING TURNS AND WHEN PARKING IT STOPS WORKING AND VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER. THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. I HAVE A COWORKER THAT HAS THE SAME ISSUE AS WELL AS NUMEROUS REPORTS BY CONSUMERS THAT HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH GM. MY CHILDREN USE THIS VEHICLE TO GO TO COLLEGE AND I WANT TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND THAT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WON'T COST THEM THEIR LIVES DUE TO NEGLEGENCE BY GM! I DON'T THINK IT SHOULD MATTER HOW OR WHEN IT OCCURS! IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND GM SHOULD THINK VERY SERIOUSLY ABOUT THIS PROBLEM!
TAKATA RECALL THE STEERING WHEEL WOULDN'T TURN AT ALL FOR MY CHEVY COBALT 2005 AND IT WAS STATIONARY IN OUR PARKWAY AND WE CAN BARELY MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL AND I WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE IS A RECALL FOR THAT?
RECALL NO. N100023 - I WAS DRIVING UP TO A STOP SIGN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I COULDN'T TURN THE WHEEL. I WAS ALMOST AT A STOP. THE POWER STEERING WAS GONE. A LITTLE LATER IT TURNED BACK ON. RECALL NO. 09041 - WHEN I SHIFT THERE IS A CLICKING SOUND THAT IS MADE INSIDE WHERE THE SHIFTER IS, AND THEN ALL OF MY SUDDEN MY CAR JERKS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN I AM IN MOTION. IT JERKS TO THE POINT I AM PHYSICALLY MOVED.
WHEN DRIVING REAR AND FRONT DOORS OPEN WHEN HITTING A BUMPL THEY JUST FLY OPEN WON'T STAY LOCKED OR CLOSED. WHEN CLOSING THEM SOMETIMES NOT ABLE TO REOPEN THEM. THE DOOR MECHANISMS ARE FAULTLY AND DON'T WORK. REAL SAFETY ISSUE SHOULD BE ON RECALL LIST AS MANY PEOPLE ON-LINE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
TAKATA RECALL WHILE I AM DRIVING MY POWER STEERING LIGHT COMES ON AND MY CAR WILL LOSE POWER STEERING. MY GEAR SHIFT STARTS MAKING A CLICKING NOISE, WHEN I PRESS ON GAS WHEN IT GOES TO CHANGE GEARS IT JUMPS INTO THE NEXT GEAR, WHEN I TRY TO STOP IT WON'T LET ME THE ENGINE FEELS LIKE IT IS TRYING TO GO FASTER WHEN I'M TRYING TO STOP. I HAVE HAD FHE CAR FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND IT'S A ONGOING PROBLEM.
MY PASSENGER DOOR RANDOMLY DOES NOT OPEN ANYMORE FROM INSIDE OR OUT. IT WORKED COMPLETELY FINE BEFORE A PASSENGER GOT IN, AND WHEN THEY TRIED TO GET OUT THE HANDLE WAS "LOOSE" AND NEITHER HANDLES WILL OPEN THE DOOR. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND IT'S SCARY THAT THIS COULD POTENTIALLY HAPPEN TO BOTH DOORS. MY PASSENGER DOOR CURRENTLY DOESN'T OPEN SO IF THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT THEY WOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO GET OUT.

THE CONTACT HAD TO CLIMB OVER TO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, THE REAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOORS INDEPENDENTLY OPENED. THE CONTACT HAD TO BUNGEE CORD THE TWO REAR DOORS TO KEEP THEM FROM OPENING WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MANGINO BUICK GMC (1484 SARATOGA RD, BALLSTON SPA, NY 12020, (518) 885-5301), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000. *TT
FUEL ODOR AND SPOTTING OF FUEL WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED
POWER STEERING ALARM APPEARS ON DASHBOARD. POWER STEERING STOPS WORKING AND TRANSMISSION BEGINS VERY HARD SHIFTING, CAUSING CAR TO 'BUCK' EACH TIME IT SHIFTS. THE PROBLEM HAS OCCURED BOTH WHEN STATIONARY AND WHEN IN MOTION. IT WAS INTERMITTENT, BUT NOW OCCURS DAILY.

POWER STEERING LOST WHEN STATIONARY AND IN MOTION
I HAD RECALL 10V073000 PERFORMED BY THE DEALER DUE TO NOTICING MY STEERING WAS GETTING TIGHT THEN SLOPPY. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MOTOR AND SAID THE SLOP IN THE STEERING WAS A BAD INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT. SO I BOUGHT THAT AND HAD IT INSTALLED, NOT AT THE DEALER BECAUSE THEY WHERE RIDICULOUS IN PRICE, AND IT FIXED NOTHING. THERE WAS STILL SLOP AND WANDERING WHILE DRIVING. AFTER A WHILE, MAKING LEFT TURNS I WOULD HEAD A CLUNK AND IT WOULD STILL BE DIFFICULT TO TURN. THEN WHILE MAKING A SLOW LEFT TURN IT WAS REALLY TIGHT AND THEN A LOUD CLUNK THEN THE STEERING BECAME REALLY LOOSE AND THE VEHICLE LOST STEERING UNTIL I TURNED THE WHEEL MORE AND IT FINALLY GRABBED. IT HAPPENS MORE FREQUENTLY NOW. I WAS TOLD THE RACK IS NOW DAMAGED. THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT THAT WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE DEALER WAS AN INCORRECT DIAGNOSIS WHEN I HAD THE RECALL PERFORMED. THE FAILURE OF THE MOTOR PUT EXCESS STRESS ON THE RACK WHICH CAUSED THE GEARS TO WEAR IS WHAT AN INDEPENDENT SHOP TOLD ME. GM IS TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET A "PROPER DIAGNOSIS" FROM THE DEALER WHEN AT THE TIME THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED THEY HAD DIAGNOSED IT INCORRECTLY.
THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM LIGHT ON MY CHEVROLET COBALT 2005 STAYS ON AND DOES NOT TURN OFF UNTIL I SHUT OFF THE ENGINE. VEHICLE WOULDN'T START. LIKE THE BATTERY WAS DEAD, WOULDN'T EVEN TRY TO TURN OVER. GO TO TURN THE KEY OFF AND POP MY TRUNK WHERE THE BATTERY IS LOCATED AND I CAN NOT GET MY KEY TO TURN ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE OFF POSITION, AS A RESULT I CANNOT REMOVE MY KEY. THE SPEEDOMETER READ 30MPH EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE NEVER STARTED AND WASN'T MOVING. NON OF THE ELECTRONICS WERE WORKING SO I WAS UNABLE TO POP MY TRUNK. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND EVENTUALLY THE VEHICLE WILL START AND WHEN IT DOES THE BATTERY LIGHT STAYS ON AND THE DASH READS; ENGINE PERFORMANCE LOW. THE TRANSMISSION WILL SURGE AS I AM DRIVING AND I CANNOT GO FASTER THAN 30MPH. I HAVE EVEN HAD THE CAR SHUT OFF COMPLETLY WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. AFTER ANYWHERE BETWEEN A FEW HOURS TO A FEW WEEKS THE VEHICLE WILL STOP ACTING UP AND DRIVE NORMAL FOR A WHILE. AGIAN THE NORMAL LASTS ANYWHERE BETWEEN A FEW HOURS TO A FEW MONTHS AS WELL. THE POWER STERING ALSO FLASHES ON THE DASH AND SOMETIMES CUTS COMPLEATLY OUT.

I HAVE AN 05 CHEVROLET COBALT I BOUGHT OFF AN INDIVIDUAL AUGUST 2016 AT FIRST THE CAR DROVE PERFECTLY NO MAJOR PROBLEMS THAT COULDNT BE FIXED. AS OF MAY 2017 WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH OR 60 MPH MY GUAGES JUMP FOR EXAMPLE WILL BE DRIVING 55 MPH ON A CITY STREET AND THE GUAGE WILL JUMP DOWN TO 20 MPH. AS I AM TURNING MY STEERING LOCKS HAVE ALMOST CRASHED MULTIPLE TIMES (NEEDS RECALL FIXED) BUT TO BE CLEAR IT DOES NOT JUMP AT ALL WHILE STATIONARY. 2005 CHEVY, COBALT, HAD 2 RECALLS 2010, 2014 BOTH FOR STEERING ISSUES. RECENTLY TOLD BY A MECHANIC PROBLEM STILL IN RACK AND PION IN STEERING MECHANISM. DEALER WILL NOT PROMISE TO FIX AS PART OF ORIGNAL RECALL OR CAN'T QUARANTEE FIXING. WITH ALL THE FATALITIES OF THIS ISSUE MY FEELING IT SHOULD BE A LIFETIME WARRANTEE. ON HIGHWAY DRIVING I FEEL IT STILL IS AN ISSUE AND DON'T FEEL SAFE. DEALER WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. 4/14/17 VEHICLE SVC-IGNITION RECALL 14113 LOCK CYLINDER & KEY 13454 IGNITION SWITCH THE VEHICLE WAS PERFORMING WELL PRIOR TO THE RECALL SERVICE BUT NOW IT APPEARED THAT THE IGNITION WAS "STIFF' TO OPERATE FOLLOWING THE REPAIR & THE KEY SEEMED TO PERIODICALLY HANG UP WHEN INSERTED. THERE WAS A RANDOM HESITATION WHEN MAKING A U TURN-AS IF THE CAR BRIEFLY STALLED OUT- NO POWER, UPON TURNING THE WHEEL. EVE OF 4/21/17, AFTER BEING DRIVEN & PARKED ON A CITY STREET FOR ABOUT AN HR, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START ALTHOUGH THERE WAS FULL BATTERY POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS SECURED & LEFT TO SIT. MORN OF 4/22/17 SVC CTR WAS NOTIFIED. VEHICLE STILL WOULDN'T START, BUT, UPON INSERTION OF THE KEY & INITIAL CRANK, THE CAR BEGAN EXPERIENCING SUDDEN RANDOM CLICKS OF THE IGNITION SWITCH, DOOR LOCKS ENGAGING, DASHBOARD PANEL FLASHING. UPON REMOVING THE KEY & REINSERTING IT, THE KEY APPEARED TO HAVE DEPROGRAMMED & THE ANTI THEFT LIGHT WAS ACTIVATED. THE KEY WAS REMOVED & THE CAR SECURED. LATER, ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE THE IGNITION USING THE SECOND NEW KEY & WAS UNSUCCESSFUL-THE KEY WOULD NOT TURN TO OFF POSITION BUT LOCKED IN ACC MODE POSITION. LATER, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED PER DEALER AUTH. THE TOW TRUCK OPERATOR NOTED THAT THE CAR BATTERY APPEARED TO HAVE DRAINED BY THEIR ARRIVAL, THE KEY WOULD NOT DISENGAGE FROM THE IGNITION & THE CAR WOULD NOT COME OUT OF PARK. 4/24/17 SERVICE FOUND CODES P0604 & P0606 CONTROL MODULE RAM FAILURE + INTERNAL CONTROLLER FAILURE- DEALER COURTESY PERFORMED REPROGRAMMING, THEFT RELEARN & CRANK VARIATION LEARN.
