BAD ANTIFREEZE SMELL ENTERING CAR WITH HEAT ON AND ENGINE AT FULL OPERATING TEMPERATURE, BUT NO ANTIFREEZE LOSS. *TR
THE ELECTRICAL PAD THAT YOU PUSH TO OPEN THE TRUNK IS FAULTY AND DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. ONLY WAY TO GET INTO TRUNK IS TO PUSH KEY FOB. IF A CHILD OR ADULT GOT TRAPPED INSIDE IT COULD BE HARMFUL DUE TO FACT THAT THE PUSH PAD FOR THE TRUNK OPEN IS FAULTY.
MY PROBLEMS STARTED WITH MY TRUNK POPPING OPEN ON ITS OWN WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE PARKED. THIS IS CONCERNING NOT ONLY TO MY LOSS OF FOCUS ON THE ROAD BECAUSE OF THIS, I ALSO WORRY ABOUT WHO EVER IS DRIVING BEHIND ME SHOULD SOMETHING FLY OUT OF MY TRUNK. ALSO MY WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE ON THE DRIVER SIDE COMES OFF THE MOTOR CLIP THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS WHILE RAINING I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH OUT VISIBILITY. MY CAR THEN DECIDED NOT TO START AND WHEN I FINALLY GOT IT TO START IT TOLD MY AIRBAGS NEEDED SERVICING, MY POWER STEERING, ABS BRAKES, TRACTION CONTROL, AND STABILITRACK. THERE WAS NO CONTROL OF THE CAR. THAT HAD WENT AWAY AND WAS ABLE TO GET CAR SAFELY TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT SERVICED TODAY. THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH OTHER 2012 CHEVY CRUZE'S IN WHICH I HAVE DONE RESEARCH. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE ELECTRICAL ISSUES BEFORE SOMEONE ENDS UP GETTING KILLED. *TR
THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY 2012 CHEVY CRUZE. I GOT A RECALL NOTICE BUT NEVER DID RECEIVE NOTICE THAT THE PARTS WERE IN. HOWEVER I HAD AT THE DEALER HAVING AN OIL CHANGE. I TOLD HIM ABOUT IT. IT WAS FOR THE BRAKE MICRO SWITCH. HE SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THEY HAD THE PART. THIS WAS ON 11/14/13. I HAD AN ACCIDENT TODAY 10/15/14. I TURNED INTO A PARKING PLACE. I APPLIED THE BRAKE BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. CAR JUMPED THE CURB AND ENDED UP ON TOP OF A LIGHT MAKER AT THE LIBRARY WHERE I WAS PARKING. IT WAS ACCELERATING INSTEAD OF BRAKING. I APPLIED THE BRAKE BUT NO BRAKING ONLY ACCELERATION. I WANT TO FILE THIS COMPLAINANT. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE RADIO DISPLAY GOES BLANK. THIS INCLUDES THE RADIO- TEMPERAUIRE CONTROLS,ETC- OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE DIGITAL INFO CENTER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE OIL WAS BURNING AND CAUSED AN ODOR TO EMIT FROM THE VENTS OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER ON THREE OCCASIONS WHERE THE TURBO RETURN LINE WAS REPLACED EACH TIME, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE ENGINE OIL WAS LEAKING ON THE ENGINE, THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND OTHER HOT SURFACES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE PCP COVER WAS REPLACED ALONG WITH OTHER UNKNOWN REPAIRS, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED, THE CONTACT SMELLED THE ODOR OF BURNING ENGINE OIL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I HAVE A VERY STRONG COOLANT SMELL INSIDE THE CAR WHEN HEAT IS ON AND A STRONG COOLANT SMELL OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. I BROUGHT IT IN TO MY DEALERSHIP AND THEY DETERMINED THE WATER PUMP WAS LEAKING AND THEY REPLACED IT. I'VE HAD MY CAR BACK FOR A WEEK NOW AND AGAIN I HAVE THE STRONG COOLANT SMELL INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF MY CAR. THE SMELL IS ACTUALLY MAKING ME NAUSEOUS. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH MY DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW NOT GOING DOWN. I'VE HAD THE DEALERSHIP LOOK AT IT AND THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE AND GENERATOR STARTER CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.

I BOUGHT MY 2012 CHEVY CRUZE IN SEPTEMBER 2014. SINCE I HAVE HAD IT, WHEN DRIVING ANY WHERE, WHEN I PRESS THE GAS PEDAL TO DRIVE, THE CAR SOUNDS LIKE IT REARS UP TO LOUD. I HAVE TO TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE GAS, THEN PRESS GENTLY AND DRIVE SLOW, INORDER FOR THE CAR TO NOT MAKE THAT SOUND. CAR WAS PURCHASED LABOR DAY OF 2013, HAS A LITTLE OVER 9,000 MILES WITH BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY STILL ENFORCED. REPORTED TO NHTSA ON 9/29/2014 AT APPROX. 10:30 AM. CONFIRMATION# 10639748. 2012 CHEVY CRUZE WITH LESS THAN 25,000 MILES ON IT. WHILE DRIVING, THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WILL COME ON THE DIC AND THEN SERVICE STABILITRACK AND THE CAR WOULD DIE DOWN FOR A BRIEF SECOND AND THE RADIO WILL CUT OFF. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO A DEALER AND THEY SAID TO DRIVE WITH THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF UNTIL IT GETS IN. NOW IT IS DOING THE SAME THING WITH THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF. IT IS ALSO DOING THIS IN REVERSE! THIS CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY WITH GM, BUT I'M AFRAID THAT I WILL HAVE THE SAME LUCK AS OTHERS ON HERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEMS AND NOTHING WILL GET FIXED. THE RADIO WOULD GO OFF, AS WELL AS THE DASH LIGHTS AND A WRENCH WOULD APPEAR BUT NO ENGINE CODE WOULD APPEAR. THIS WOULD OCCUR SEVERAL MORE TIMES THEN THE ENTIRE CAR WOULD STALL OUT, OR TURN ITS SELF OFF BASICALLY. THE KEY REMAINS STUCK IN THE IGNITION UNABLE TO TURN THE CAR ON OR REMOVE IT. 2012 CHEVY CRUZE ECO 1.4L TURBO HAS ISSUES WITH SERVICE STABILITRAK MESSAGE, SERVICE POWER STEERING, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, THESE MESSAGES APPEAR WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. ACTIVATED USUALLY BE TURN SIGNAL CAR RADIO AND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SEEMS LIKE IT SHUTS OFF FOR A SECOND TURN SIGNAL BLINKS BUT NO CLICKING NOISE AFTER 2-3 BLINKS THEN CLICKS. AT TIMES WHEN ON CRUISE CONTROL THE STEP ON BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN WOULD ACTIVATE THE ELECTRICAL GLITCH SPEEDING UP AND SLOWING DOWN ALSO BUT NOT AT MUCH. CAR SEEMS LIKE IT HAS A DECREASE IN POWER. MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DEALER TO CHECK OUT BUT ITS NOT A RECALL ISSUE. *TR
SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AT ABOUT 29,000 MILES, SO I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. AFTER DIAGNOSTIC IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE THERMOSTAT HAD GONE BAD, SO THEY REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT AND THE HOLDING MOUNT. THEN SATURDAY ON THE WAY TO WORK THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I STOPPED FOR GAS THEN THE CAR WOULD NOT RESTART. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CAM SHAFT SENSOR ALSO WENT BAD. THE CAR ALSO HESITATES WHEN SHIFTING GEARS IN LOW SPEEDS. *TR
GM HAS A DEFECTIVE DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM THAT FAILED/STOPPED WORKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE POURING RAIN. THIS SITUATION CAN AND WILL KILL SOMEBODY. THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER AND HAD TOOLS TO REMOVE THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPER AND PLASTIC WIPER MOTOR COVER TO RE-ATTACH THE WINDSHIELD WIPER LINKAGE. OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE HAD TO CALL ROADSIDE ASST. BELOW THE PLASTIC WINDSHIELD WIPER COVER, THERE IS THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINKAGE. THERE IS A 6 INCH ARM THAT COMES OFF THE WIPER MOTOR WITH AN UPSIDE DOWN BOWL. THE HALF BOWL ATTACHES TO A 3 INCH ARM WITH A HALF A BALL AT THE END OF IT THAT FACES UPWARDS. THE HALF BALL THEN IS ATTACHED BELOW THE BOLT/NUT THAT HOLDS YOUR WINDSHIELD WIPER ON THE CAR. GM SAYS IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. SO DOES CHEVY DEALERSHIP. CUP AND BALL ATTACHMENT SYSTEM IN THE WIPER MOTOR LINKAGE WITH NO CLIP TO STOP IT FROM POPPING OFF. I HAVE A 2012 CHEVY CRUZ WITH A TIRE THAT KEEPS LOSING PRESSURE. THE CHEVY GARAGE TOLD ME THAT IT HAS SEVERAL MICRO HOLES AND RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT AT $250/TIRE AND THAT I NEEDED TO BUY 2 (BECAUSE YOU CAN'T JUST REPLACE ONE). I ASKED THE TECHNICIAN HOW THIS CAN HAPPEN AND HE SAID IT'S NOTHING I DID AND THAT MICHELIN TIRES ARE KNOWN TO HAVE FLAWS SUCH AS THIS BUT NO RECALL ON MY TIRES YET. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AXLE FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,000.
WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH ON THE HIGHWAY. I ALREADY SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT ABOUT MY BRAKES NOT WORKING PROPERLY AT TIME OF CRASH, SEE FILE #10637987. MY BRAKES DID NOT STOP PROPERLY AND RESULTED IN ME HITTING THE BACK OF ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE FAST LANE OF INTERSTATE 495. DURING COLLISION, NONE OF MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED EVEN THOUGH THE FRONT BUMPER ON RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY SMASHED IN. INSURANCE HAS PAID ALMOST $8,000 TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, AT A SAFE AND REASONABLE DISTANCE FROM THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME, THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME BRAKED. I STEPPED ON MY BRAKES, AND MY VEHICLE DID NOT STOP PROPERLY. I WAS ABLE TO TURN MY VEHICLE TOWARDS THE LEFT TRYING TO AVOID CRASHING INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS ABLE TO TURN MY VEHICLE LEFT AND AVOID CRASHING HEAD ON, BUT ENCOUNTERED SEVERE FRONT END DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE OF MY VEHICLE. ALL I CAN SAY IS, MY BRAKES DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY INCLUDING THE UPPER DISPLAY, THE SMALLER DISPLAY FLICKERS AND WILL SHOW A SERVICE STABILITRAK NOTICE. SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH ALSO LIGHT UP: BRAKE, STABILITRAK , AND ABS. NO GM BULLETINS NOR A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM AND DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIX PROBLEM AFTER SEVERAL VISITS. *TR
The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact initially received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V360000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) and the vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired. After the vehicle was repaired, the contact stated that upon a cold start, extra brake pedal force was needed to stop the vehicle. Over time, the failure worsened as the contact was forced to use the parking brake to stop the vehicle. Two unknown dealers were notified of the failure and informed her that there was no defect with the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic who informed her that the vacuum pump was defective. The contact was also informed that the vehicle was still under warranty; however, the dealer informed her that the warranty was closed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and she was provided the same information as the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
VEHICLE TURNED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF TAKING A LEFT TURN. CAUSED THE CAR TO GO OFF THE ROAD INTO A GRADED LOT. AT THIS POINT CAUSING MY TIRE TO GO FLAT AND DAMAGING THE FENDER AND PASSENGER DOOR. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE CAR HAS TURNED OFF ON ME. I HAVE HAD IT IN THE SHOP 3 TIMES IN THE 4 MONTHS THAT I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE AND STILL NOTHING IS RESOLVED. *TR

EVEN AFTER ALL THIS MY CAR CONTINUED DOING THE SAME THING BUT NOW IT TURNS OFF!! I TRIED TO TURN ON MY CAR THIS SATURDAY AND IT JUST WOULDN'T START. IT SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THEFT, I DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND THEN IT GAVE A MESSAGE ABOUT CHECK POWER STEERING! THIS WILL BE MY 5TH TIME TAKING IT IN! I THINK I HAVE GOTTEN RIPPED OFF!! I REGRET PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE!! NOW IM STUCK WITH A JACKED UP CAR AND A VERY HIGH CAR PAYMENT THAT IS NOT EVEN WORTH PAYING FOR. AND TO TOP IT OFF THE DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM IS NO HELP!! AIR BAG INDICATOR CAME ON 1 MONTH AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR AND CALLED TO SEE IF IT WAS CPVERED BY THE MILLION RECALLS BUT WAS TOLD MY VIN NUMBER ISNT ON THE RECALL LIST. HOW IS IT THAT MY CAR IS DOING THE VERY THING THE OTHER 40,000 RECALLS FROM CHEVY BUT MINE ISNT COVERED. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHEVY AND I AM COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TIL I CAN TRADE IT IN!!!!
FIRST THE CAR WOULD NOT START. AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS IT DID START AND SERVICE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM FLASHED. SHORTLY AFTER, WHILE STOPPED, ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS BEGAN FLICKERING ON AND OFF CAUSING MULTIPLE SERVICE CODES TO FLASH. THEN WHILE DRIVING THE POWER STEERING WOULD STOP WORKING AT RANDOM TIMES. *TR
BESIDES THE TRANSMISSION COMPLAINT I HAVE ALREADY MADE, I AM ALSO EXPERIENCING CONSTANT ELECTRICAL ISSUES. AN UPDATE WAS ALREADY RAN ON THE CAR'S COMPUTER FOR THIS COMPLAINT AND THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS LUBRICATED (HOPEFULLY THAT WILL PREVENT THE STEERING LOCK UP THAT OTHERS EXPERIENCE). NEITHER GM SOLUTION HAS PROVIDED AN END TO MY TROUBLE. DINGING WHEN KEYS AREN'T IN, CAR WON'T ALWAYS START, SERVICE THIS OR THAT DASH LIGHTS, RADIO DISPLAY GOES ON AND OFF, I CAN'T OPEN MY TRUNK WITHOUT THE PUSH BUTTON KEY FOB, THE STEERING IS NOW PULLING, AND ALSO THE HEADLIGHTS ARE NOW TURNING OFF AND ON WITHOUT MY HAND. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF MY CAR, THINGS I SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO CONCERN MYSELF WITH...WHICH COULD LEAD TO ANY MALFUNCTION BUT THE CHEVROLET TECHS CAN NOT DIAGNOSE WHAT THEY SEE WITH THEIR OWN EYES BECAUSE THE COMPUTER OF THE CAR DOESN'T TELL THEM ANYTHING IS WRONG. AREN'T THERE ALTERNATE TROUBLESHOOTING METHODS INCLUDED WITH THE BLUEPRINT THEY DESIGNED BESIDES RELYING ON A POSSIBLY THIRD-PARTY CONTROL MODULE THAT ISN'T LOGGING ERRORS? I BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY DAUGHTER, THE SECOND OR THIRD WEEK AFTER SHE GOT IT SHE STARTED TO NOTICE THE RADIO FLICKERING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING FOR NO REASON, WHICH EVENTUALLY LED TO THE RADIO FLICKERING CONTINUOUSLY AFTER USING BLINKERS &WINDOWS. "SERVICE STABILITRAK" FLASHES ON THE DISPLAY OFTEN BUT VERY QUICKLY AND GOES OFF. DOESN'T OCCUR EVERY TIME I DRIVE, BUT IT DOES IT MORE TIMES THAN NOT. NOW THE RADIO WILL FLICKER AND I WILL OCCASIONALLY LOSE CRUISE CONTROL AND POWER STEERING. I ALSO HAVE NO BLINKERS/RADIO WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IT USUALLY ONLY HAPPENS BRIEFLY AND WILL RETURN TO NORMAL SOON AFTER, BUT IT CONTINUES TO DO IT OFF AND ON UNTIL I PARK. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED THIS OCCURRING WHEN I SHIFT GEARS TO PARK. IT HAS BEEN TO THE CHEVY DEALER ONCE BUT THEY COULD NOT GET A CODE TO READ BECAUSE THEY CAN'T GET THE RADIO TO FLICKER, ETC BECAUSE IT ONLY HAPPENS EVERY SO OFTEN BUT WHEN IT DOES HAPPEN IT IS SCARY! DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY AND THE DIC STARTS FLASHING AND THEN THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND THE CAR THEN LOST POWER AND THE ENGINE CUT OUT. I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND STOP THE CAR. I WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. I TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. I SOON RECEIVED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE CABLE FROM GM FOR 10 YRS OR 120000 MILES. SO THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND CARS CUTTING OUT AND LOSING POWER ON THE HIGHWAY IS NOT CONSIDERED DANGEROUS TO THE DRIVERS OR THEIR PASSENGERS.
STOPPED CAR TRIED TO BACK UP AND IT DID NOT, THEN TRIED TO TURN OFF VEHICLE AND THE KEY WOULD NOT GO INTO THE TURN OFF MODE. COULD NOT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, COULD NOT RELEASE THE KEY, COULD NOT TURN OFF THE ENGINE. THE RADIO KEPT TURNING ITSELF ON. WAITED 2 HOURS FOR TRIPLE A TO COME TO TOW THE CAR TO DEALERSHIP. ENGINE RAN FOR TWO HOURS. TOW ARRIVED THE DRIVER SAID HE HAD TO FORCE THE GEAR SHIFT SEVERAL TIMES IN ORDER TO RELEASE THE STEERING WHEEL AND KEY AND TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE SO HE COULD TOW IT. ALSO NOTICED AN ANTI-FREEZE LEAK AND THIS IS BEING FIXED UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY, DO NOT KNOW IF IS CONNECTED TO THE SAME ISSUE. DRIVING ON INTERSTATE 10 WHEN ELECTRICAL LIGHTING, RADIO, ETC START BLINKING ON AND OFF. I WAS ON MY WAY FROM FLORIDA TO NORTH CAROLINA WHEN IT HAPPENED, I TURNED AROUND AND WENT TO CHEVROLET DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT IT, WAS CHECKED OUT AND MECHANIC SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. DROVE TO NORTH CAROLINA AND WHEN I ARRIVED AT MY SON'S HOME THE SAME THING HAPPENED TWICE. -THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY (APPROXIMATELY ONE TIME PER MONTH) -WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE ISSUE TYPICALLY BEGINS WITH THE CENTER RADIO DISPLAY AND SOUND FLICKERING ON AND OFF. -NEXT, VARIOUS ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN THE CAR BEGIN TO MALFUNCTION. THIS INCLUDES TRACTION CONTROL, POWER STEERING, HEADLIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS CRUISE CONTROL, WINDOW FUNCTIONS, AND BRAKE LIGHTS. -THE VEHICLE DOES NOT ONLY REPORT THE SYSTEM MALFUNCTION, BUT WILL ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE FAILURE (ETC, POWER STEERING IS ACTUALLY DISABLED IN THE CAR). POWER STEERING WAS ONCE LOST AT THE BOTTOM OF A SWITCHBACK IN THE MOUNTAINS. I NEARLY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. -AFTER THIS ISSUE OCCURS, IF THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF IT WILL NOT RESTART FOR 30-60 MINUTES (UNLESS THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED AND RECONNECTED). -DURING THIS PERIOD IT WILL NOT RESTART, NONE OF THE ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS OF THE CAR WILL WORK (DOORS WILL NOT LOCK, WINDOWS WILL NOT MOVE, LIGHTS WILL NOT TURN ON, ETC). -ALSO, DURING THIS PERIOD I HAVE NOTICED A SOUND WITHIN THE DASHBOARD. ONE OTHER THING THAT HAS HAPPENED WAS THAT MY HORN SOUNDED ALL ON IT'S OWN WHEN THE RADIO FLICKERED. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD ME BRING MY CAR IN FOR TESTING AFTER THIS FIRST HAPPENED. THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR, AND AFTER THEY PERFORMED THESE TESTS MY CAR DID NOT MALFUNCTION AGAIN FOR QUITE A WHILE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.
