STARTED TO HAVE NOISE. ASK MECHANIC TO CHECK WHAT IS IT. TURNED OUT IT IS VACUUM PUMP FOR THE BRAKE SYSTEM. LOOKED UP INFORMATION AND THIS ISSUE IS UNDER THE CAMPAIGN #13V360000. CONTACTED LOCAL GM DEALERSHIP ASKING CAN THEY FIX IT AT NO COST. THEY REFUSED BECAUSE THIS RECALL DOES NOT LISTED UNDER MY VIN. WHY I SHOULD PAY FOR RECALL ISSUE AND OTHER OWNER DO NOT.

ENGINE RECALL! THE ENGINE OFTEN MAKES SOUND THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN NORMAL. OVER 100,000 MILES, THE PROBLEM STARTS! WHEN NOT IN MOTION, ALTHOUGH THE ENGINE IS ON, THE VEHICLE ENGINE STOPS EVEN IN WAITING AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT STOP.
OIL WAS DRIPPING, WENT TO GO GET IT FIXED AND MY MECHANIC SUPPOSEDLY FIXED IT. DROVE FOR ABOUT A MILE AND CAR STARTED SMOKING AND MY BELT WAS ON FIRE AND CRUMBLED OFF MY CAR. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ALMOST ONE MONTH AGO AND ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE FOR A WEEK TOTAL BECAUSE OF THIS OIL ISSUE. I AM PAYING MONEY TO FIX AND THEY STILL CAN'T TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG SO I LOOKED IT UP FOR RECALLS AND SAW THIS HAD AND RECALL JUST LIKE I EXPLAINED BUT NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MY VIN. PLEASE HELP. MY CAR IS NOW UNDRIVEABLE. I WAS DRIVING WHEN THE CAR STARTED SMOKING AND I PULLED OVER AND NOTICED THE BELT ON THE GROUND BURNING. NOT DRIVING AFTER THAT.
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND WHEN I WENT TO PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP THE CAR AND PUT IT INTO DRIVE THE CAR DID NOT STOP MOVING. I HAD MY FOOT ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE BRAKE AND THE CAR STILL DID NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. EVENTUALLY IT CAME TO A STOP BUT HAD THERE BEEN ANOTHER CAR IN THE STREET I WOULD HAVE HIT THEM AND BEEN AT FAULT FOR AN INCIDENT THAT WASN'T COMPLETELY MY FAULT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED BUT I FINALLY DECIDED TO LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AND FOUND OUT ABOUT A RECALL ON THE CRUZE DUE TO BRAKE ASSISTANCE. I ENTERED MY VIN NUMBER AND IT SAID IT WAS NOT AFFECTED BUT I AM POSITIVE THAT MY CAR IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE THAT OVER 300,00 OTHER CRUZE SEDANS ARE HAVING.
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING STOPPED AT ADVANCE SOON AS IT CAME AND THEN CUT THE CAR OFF AND THEN IT WOULD NOT CRANK BACK. HAD TO HAVE CAR TOWED TO GARAGE. FOUDN OUT THAT IT WAS THE ECM COMPUTER MESSED UP AND ONLY HAVE 70,000 MILES ON THE CAR. GARAGE CALLED CHEVY AND THEY STOPPED COVERING THE COMPUTER 3 YEARS AGO DUE TO SO MANY CALLS ABOUT THE COMPUTER MESSING UP. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL THEN AND THEY WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIRS TO MY CAR.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2012 CHEVY CRUZE, MY RADIO WILL SHUT OFF RANDOMLY FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS, AND WHEN IT DOES, I LOSE COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE STEERING. IT IS LIKE THE CAR SHUTS OFF BUT WHEN THE RADIO TURNS BACK ON, THEN THE CAR WILL RESTORE POWER. VERY DANGEROUS AND SCARY!!! AND YET, THERE IS STILL NO RECALL FOR MY SPECIFIC VIN. ALSO, FOR TWO MORNINGS IN A ROW, I HAVE NOTICED A SMELL AND SOME SMOKE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. IT WILL ONLY DO IT FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THE CAR WILL NOT OVERHEAT. I SWEAR IT IS ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER WITH THIS CAR.
The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that coolant was leaking from the vehicle. The temperature gauge increased to high and then decreased. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer on several occasions and was diagnosed that the thermostat housing and thermostat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
IT HAS BEEN NUMEROUS TIMES WHERE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING, WHETHER IT BE ON THE HIGHWAY OR A CITY STREET, AND MY CAR GEARS HAVE SWITCHED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE LOWEST GEAR AND IT CAUSES MY VEHICLE TO JERK AND SLOW ALL THE WAY DOWN. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS OTHER VEHICLES BEHIND ME.
THE TRANSMISSION RELATED TO REVERSE, 3RD AND 5TH GEAR AND THE TRANSITION BETWEEN GEARS WENT OUT. NO REAL WARNING BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN IT WOULDN'T WORK IN REVERSE, THEN WOULD NOT DRIVE MORE THAN 24 MPH ON ROAD.
MY CAR JERKED WHILE DRIVING IT DOWN THE ROAD THEN THE SERVICE STABLIZER LIGHT COME ON THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. WHEN I HAD IT LOOKED AT IT CAME BACK THAT THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR WAS BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER RESEARCHING I NOTICED THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. IF SO MANY ARE HAVING THE ISSUE WHY HASNT THERE BEEN A RECALL DONE ON THIS YET.
WHEN I USE THE BRAKES AND THE AIR IS ON THE CAR WILL NOT STOP LIKE IT SHOULD. IT KEEPS MOVING. I LOOKED THIS UP AND IT SHOWS THERE IS A RECALL ON THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PIPE BUT BECAUSE MY VIN NUMBER DOESN'T MATCH WHAT YOU HAVE PREDETERMINED THAT WILL HAVE FAULTY PARTS CHEVY SAYS MY CAR DOESN'T HAVE A RECALL. HOW EXACTLY DO YOU PREDICT WHAT CARS WILL HAVE FAULTY PARTS?
WHILE DRIVING THE MUSIC WILL SHUT OFF AND THE DASHBOARD WHICH PROJECTS THE SPEED FLASHES ON AND OFF. MY HEADLIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS ARE ALSO EFFECTED BY THE ISSUE AS WELL; AT ONE POINT WHILE DRIVING IT OCCURRED AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP WHILE TRYIN G TO MAKE A TURN ON A CITY STREET.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CONSUMED OIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHUCK HUTTON CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 2471 MT MORIAH RD, MEMPHIS, TN 38115, (901) 318-3703) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TURBO HEAD FAILED INTERNALLY AND WAS PUSHING EXHAUST FUEL INTO THE ENGINE CRANKCASE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TURBO HEAD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
5/1/2019 MY RADIO STARTED GOING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING HOME THEN ON 5/2/2019 IT STARTED BLINKING "STALIBITRAK" ON MY GAUGE PANEL ALONG WITH THE RADIO GOING ON AND OFF. IS THIS SOMETHING I NEED TO BE CONCERNED WITH AS MY CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND I'M NOT RAKING IN THE DOUGH TO HAVE THIS ON MY PLATE ALONG WITH THE OTHER ISSUES WITH THE CAR. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.
I BOUGHT THE CAR USED ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO FROM A CERTIFIED CHEVY DEALERSHIP. AT THE TIME I HAD CONCERNS ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT WAS SHIFTING HARD (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT DOWN-SHIFTED AT LOW SPEED) SO I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO LOOK AT. I ALSO HAD A FEW OTHER ISSUES LIKE AN ANTI-FREEZE ODOR. THE MECHANIC AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION ADAPTS TO THE PERSON DRIVING IT, SO I ATTRIBUTED THE PROBLEM TO THAT AND FIGURED IT WOULD "RE-LEARN" HOW I DROVE AND ADJUST. WELL, IT NEVER DID, AND SUDDENLY, WITHOUT ANY WARNING THE TRANS COMPLETELY GAVE OUT DRIVING WHILE I ON ON MY RURAL BACK-ROADS. SEVERAL MONTHS AND TWO TRANSMISSIONS LATER, THE MESSAGE "TRANSMISSION HOT IDLE ENGINE" PERSISTS AND NO ONE CAN FIND THE REASON WHY.
A WEEK OR SO AGO WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON THE INTERSTATE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT DARK AND THE DISPLAY IN THE CENTER OF IT COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. I FINISHED THE REMAINING 30 MINS. OF MY DRIVE WITHOUT IT RETURNING TO NORMAL(LIGHTS OFF DISPLAY REMAINED OFF). I DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE ISSUES UNTIL TODAY. THIS AFTERNOON I DROVE TO A FAMILY GET TOGETHER AND WHILE STILL IN THE CITY MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PLUS MY RADIO DISPLAY STARTED TO RANDOMLY SHUT OFF THEN COME BACK ON AFTER A SECOND OR TWO SOMETIMES CONTINUOUSLY FOR 10-20 SECONDS AND ONCE FOR AROUND 30 SECONDS. EACH TIME THEY WENT OFF THE SPEAKERS WOULD SHUT OFF TOO AND I'M NOT SURE IF THE TURN SIGNALS WORKED DUE TO THE LACK OF A DISPLAY AND AUDIO. ONE INSTANCE I ALSO ENCOUNTERED EITHER REDUCED POWER STEERING OR COMPLETE LOSS OF IT FOR SEVERAL SECONDS WHILE LOSING POWER TO THE DISPLAYS AND REGAINING IT APPROXIMATELY 15 TIMES OVER ABOUT A 30 SECOND TIMEFRAME. AFTER THAT I GOT A STABILITRAK MESSAGE BUT STEERING WAS NORMAL FOR THE REST OF THE DRIVE. HOWEVER THE CLUSTER, RADIO DISPLAY, SPEAKERS, ETC. CONTINUED TO RANDOMLY TURN OFF FOR A SECOND OR TWO THEN COME BACK ON. WHEN WE LEFT THE GATHERING WITHIN A MINUTE OF STARTING THE CAR(HADN'T EVEN MADE IT OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY) EVERYTHING STARTED SHUTTING DOWN THEN COMING BACK ON JUST LIKE EARLIER BUT STEERING WASN'T EFFECTED AGAIN AND NO STABILITRAK MESSAGE ON THE WAY HOME EITHER. TODAY THE DRIVE STARTED IN A CITY THEN WAS OPEN HIGHWAY FOR ABOUT 20 MINS. AND THE GATHERING WAS AT A HOUSE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF A TOWN. THE LOSS OF POWER TO THE THINGS I MENTIONED ABOVE SEEMED TO BE COMPLETELY RANDOM AND WERE NOT EFFECTED BY SPEED, STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, OR OPEN HIGHWAY. THE ONE TIME STEERING WAS EFFECTED I WAS TAKING OFF AT A STOP LIGHT BUT IT'S HARD TO SAY IF THAT WAS A FACTOR SINCE NONE OF THE OTHER STOPS WERE.
THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION GOING 55 MPH ON THE TURNPIKE AND TRAFFIC AHEAD WAS SLOWING DOWN. THE BRAKE WAS APPLIED AND IT FAILED TO WORK. MY SON, THE DRIVER, PUSHED THE BRAKE AGAIN AND IT STILL WAS NOT BRAKING. OUT OF DESPERATION, HE PUSHED THE BRAKE AS FAR AS IT COULD GO AND THE VEHICLE SWERVED TOWARD THE MEDIAN. HE TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL AND THEN IT SWERVED TOWARD THE SHOULDER. THIS ACTION MADE THE VEHICLE SLOW DOWN, BUT THE BRAKES STILL DID NOT WORK.THERE WERE NO OTHER VEHICLES INVOLVED, BUT HE WAS VERY CLOSE TO CRASHING INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. I CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY RECALLS OR SAFETY ISSUES FOR THE 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THERE WAS ONE RECALL THAT DESCRIBED WHAT HE EXPERIENCED, BUT THE RECALL WAS NOT FOR THE ENGINE TYPE OF MY CRUZE. IT WAS BULLETIN #12213-BRAKE VACUUM MICRO SWITCH. HE HAS AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE CHEVROLET DEALER TO CHECK OUT THE VEHICLE. BY THE WAY, THE VEHICLE PASSED STATE INSPECTION LESS THAN A MONTH AGO. FRANKLY, I AM AFRAID TO HAVE HIM DRIVE THE VEHICLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE NOTIFIED SUMMIT CHEVROLET BUICK GMC (LOCATED AT 318 GRANT AVE, AUBURN, NY 13021, (315) 258-2000) AND THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE CONTACT WAS ALERTED BY ANOTHER MOTORIST THAT THERE WERE FLAMES UNDERNEATH HER VEHICLE. SHORTLY AFTER, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE VENTS AND THE SPEED WAS DECELERATING. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133,000.
THE VEHICLE WILL BE DRIPPING ENGINE COOLANTS. HOSES WILL MALFUNCTION, CAUSING MULTIPLE REPLACEMENT.
MY VEHICLE WILL SAY THE DRIVERS DOOR IS OPEN WHEN IT IS NOT, IT WILL SHUT OFF AND ON. THE ALARM SYSTEM GOES OFF WHEN EVER IT FEELS LIKE IT EVEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO WHEN IT DOES THIS YOU JUST HAVE TO LET IT GO OFF UNTIL IT STOPS. THE SPEED GAUGE CHANGES FROM WHAT THE NON DIGITAL ONE SAYS. AND THE ENGINE LIGHT SHUTS OFF AND ON WHEN YOU HIT A BUMP.
I HAVE A 2012 CHEVY CRUZE 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. WHEN DRIVING AND BARLEY ACCELERATING IN 3RD GEAR IT GRINDS AND POPS OUT OF GEAR. ONLY 3RD GEAR NO OTHER ISSUES!
ENGINE OVERHEATED, GOT THAT FIXED. NOT EVEN 3 WEEKS LATER, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN'CAR SHAKES WHEN STOPPED AND STILL SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING WHEN THE CAR IS OFF.
PCV VALVE COVER GASKET KEEPS HAVING LEAK ISSUES. IN THREE YEARS I HAVE REPLACE THREE PCV VALVE COVER GASKETS. I HAVE TALKED WITH THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADMIT THAT IT'S A DESIGN FLAW PROBLEM. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PURCHASE THIS THREE TIMES AND HAVE IT PUT ON ONE EACH TIME.
SUNROOF LEAKING WATER AT THE 4TH WATER OUTLETS PROBLEM FLEXIBLE PIPE GET LOOSE NOT HOLDING THE HOSES TIGHT SERIOUS PROBLEM YOU HAVE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ON THE HEADLINER
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE UNINTENTIONALLY DECELERATED. WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED, THE VEHICLE TOOK TIME TO ACCELERATE AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. ALSO, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A STOP LIGHT, IT VIOLENTLY VIBRATED AND STALLED, BUT WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FELDMAN CHEVROLET OF LANSING (2801 E MICHIGAN AVE, LANSING, MI 48912, (517) 507-4948) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TURBO IN THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE PART WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that since purchasing the vehicle, multiple oil and coolant repairs have been performed on the vehicle due to leakage. The contact stated that while in stop-and-go traffic, a cloud of white smoke began to emit from the vehicle as a warning message stating "turn off the heater, high engine heat" appeared on the instrument panel. The contact pulled the vehicle over and upon inspection discovered that there was no coolant in the reservoir. A service vehicle pulled over to help. The service attendant reattached an unknown hose that had disconnected and added coolant. Soon after restarting of the vehicle, the white smoke and the warning message returned; the contact had the vehicle towed to her daughter's home. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO JERK VIOLENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE ONLY OCCURRED WHEN THE ENGINE WAS WARM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR INTAKE FAILED AND AFFECTED THE VALVE COVER AND ALL THE COMPONENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
I OWN BOTH A 2012 & 2013 CRUZ AND THEY BOTH HAVE A LEAK IN THE SAME PLACE. I ALSO HAVE A CO-WORK THAT HAS ONE AND IS HAVE THE SAME WATER LEAK AT FIRST I TOUGHHT MY CAR HAD BEEN WRECKED BUT IT SEEMS THAT IF IT'S NOT JUST ME IT IS NOT THE CASE

THE VEHICLE ALSO MADE AN ABNORMAL ANIMAL SOUND, SIMILAR TO A COW MOO-ING. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AND JERKED VIOLENTLY BACK AND FORTH. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER AS IT LOST POWER. THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JIMMY VASSER CHEVROLET (583 SOSCOL AVE, NAPA, CA 94559, (707) 255-7600) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT NO FAILURES WERE FOUND. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND STATED THAT A NEW TRANSMISSION WAS NEEDED. DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE WIPER STOPPED WORKING ON THE CENTER
MY BRAKES KEEP GOING "HARD" AND NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. ABOUT A YEAR AGO I HAD MY MASTER CYLANDER, BRAKE BOOSTER, MICROSWITCH IN THE BRAKE VACUUM LINE, MAF SENSOR AND AIR INTAKE HOSE REPLACED BECAUSE THE MECHANIC SAID THOSE WERE THE ISSUES, I WENT 2 WEEKS WITHOUT MY VEHICLE, INCLUDING BREAKING DOWN FOR MULTIPLE DAYS OUT OF STATE. NOW HERE I AM WITH THE SAME ISSUES. BEFORE I HAD THEM REPLACED I WAS TOLD THAT THE MICROSWITCH IN THE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS ALREADY RECALLED AND REPLACED. BUT SINCE THEN IT HAS FAILED AGAIN. I WAS TOLD BY CHEVY THAT THEY ONLY DO THE RECALL ONCE, BUT IF THEY ARE REPLACING IT WITH A FAULTY PART SHOULDN'T THAT BE RECALLED AGAIN? I HAVE TWO TODDLERS IN MY VEHICLE REGULARLY AND LOSING THE POWER BRAKES COULD END VERY BAD. THE POWER BRAKES FAIL ALMOST EVERY DAY, USUALLY THE FIRST TIME I HIT THE BRAKES AFTER STARTING TO VEHICLE. WITCH MAKE ME THINK THAT ITS GOING TO COMPLETELY FAIL AGAIN SOON.

TOOK IT TO CHEVY AGAIN THEY SAID TRANS MODULE THEY FIXED IT MARCH 2017 IT HAPPENED AGAIN THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE PROBLEM BECAUSE NO ENGINE LIGHT ON IT HAPPENED EVERY 4 MONTHS OCTOBER 2018 TRANS LINE LEAKING WITH THE SAME SIGN NO FASTER THAN 20MPH JERKING THEY FIXED LINES JANUARY 2019 CAR JERKING AGAIN CAR GOES 20 MPH BUT THE CAR WILL STOP AT STOP SIGN AND WILL I ACCELERATE TO GO THE CAR WON'T MOVE AT ALL I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF TO DRIVE AGAIN
CAR WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, READY TO MAKE A LEFT-TURN AND COMPLETELY SHUT OFF FOR NO REASON. TURBO CHARGER VALVE FAILED CAUSING MULTIPLE OTHER ISSUES. CAR SHUTS OFF RANDOMLY. STABILITY TRACK KEEPS COMING ON EVEN AFTER THE WIRE TO THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED.
I WAS LEAVING WORK, ONTO A BUSY STREET AND THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKERED, THE CHECK ENGINE ICON APPEARED ON THE DASH, ALONG WITH ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL & SERVICE STABILI TRAK. MY CAR SLOWED DOWN TO ABOUT 5 MILES AND I WAS ALMOST HIT. I REVERSED BACK INTO MY COMPANY'S LOT. SOMEONE SCANNED MY CAR AND THE CODE WAS FOR P2135. DOING RESEARCH, I FOUND IT WAS A PREVIOUS RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE BUT CAN'T FIND ANY NOW.
THE OIL HOUSING UNIT IS LEAKING CAUSING OIL TO LEAK INTO THE ENGINE AND BURN POTENTIALLY CAUSING A FIRE.

VEHICLE FAILS TO TURN ON WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER CAUSING LIMITED TO NO VISIBILITY.
FROM THE TIME I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE (OFF LEASE) THE TRANSMISSION NEVER FELT RIGHT. THE CAR WOULD JERK FROM GEAR TO GEAR AND THE RPMS WOULD SKY ROCKET. I EXPRESSED THIS CONCERN MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THE DEALERSHIP I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM AND THEY ASSURED ME EVERYTHING WAS OKAY AND THAT IT WAS JUST THE TYPE OF TRANSMISSION. AFTER JUST GETTING MY CAR OUT OF THE SHOP FOR A SEPARATE ISSUE THE CRUZE LEFT ME ON THE SIDE OF A VERY BUSY HIGHWAY THAT IS NOTORIOUS FOR ACCIDENTS. AS I TRIED TO SPEED UP THE RPMS WOULD ONCE AGAIN SKY ROCKET BUT THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE OF THIS HAPPENING I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AFTER PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK I SAT FOR A MOMENT. WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE THE CAR JUST WOULD NOT MOVE. I TRIED FORWARD AND REVERSE AND NEITHER WORKED. SO THERE I SAT WITH CAR WHIZZING BY ME WITH A CAR THAT DID NOT WORK. AFTER TOWING THE CAR TO THE SHOP HE GAVE ME THE GUT WRENCHING NEW THAT MY 7 YEAR OLD CAR'S TRANSMISSION IS SHOT. I NOW HAVE A $4,000 REPAIR WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD. OH AND THE KICKER IS I OWE $8,000 STILL.
