Check engine light came on with radiator emblem showing with message Engine Hot AC Off. Towed to Orr Chevrolet, said it was water outlet bad. Paid $460.00 to repair. I think 2015 cruze should b covered under January 2015 Special Coverage, since water outlet falls under engine coolant leak pertaining to water pump Special Coverage.
The driver side seat belt did not lock in time like it was supposed to when i got rear ended today, causing my head the hit the steering wheel very very hard. I wouldn't have hit the steering wheel if my seat belt would have locked in place like its supposed to. It has not been confirmed or reproduced by a service center. The car is now being inspected by the police, and the insurance representatives. No warning lamps were on, and there wasn't any kind of messages or any other symptoms prior to the failure.
The windshield wiper transmission failed on my ‘15 Cruze in the middle of a rain storm caused my Hurricane Ida. The problem has been confirmed by my husband who is a mechanic at a Chevrolet dealership. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem were present prior to the onset of the problem. It had been raining a lot due to Hurricane Ida, the last time I used my wipers they worked fine. When it started raining again I tried to cut my wipers on and only my driver side wiper worked. My passenger side wiper stayed in its downward resting position and did not move or make any noises.
Driving the car and suddenly it began to stall, next engine light came on, stability light came on, engine overheating waring came on, radio turned off, ac stopped working, smelling antifreeze, car shakes, power stalls when accellerating, smoke exited the engine, oil leaked and finally car stopped. AAA got car took it to a mechanic and rebuilt whole cylinder head. Now I received a letter from GM stating something wrong with PCV valve, and same thing is happening again same senerio just 4 months after getting fixed.
Coolant leaking, it bursts one of the hoses, got it fixed and I have taken it to get repaired 4 times and the problem still continues
The car was a total loss due to a MVA which involved this car only. The car hydroplaned, it spun and the traction control light was blinking. The front of the car hit the guardrail, spun, and then the back end hit the guardrail. At this point, all the dash lights were blinking and the car dead in the road. The flashers were turned on but due to the car dead, there were no flashers on and the car was stuck in the fast lane of a three lane highway in the dark and pouring rain. The air bags never deployed nor did the seatbelt tighten up. Components that failed: flashers, airbags, seatbelts, etc. Safety: could not alert other drivers that the car was in the road and was almost struck by a tractor trailer and other cars. Problem was reported to the insurance company who claimed it as a total loss. The police were called to the scene of the accident so there is a police report. The traction control warning light lit when the car hydroplaned. All the lights on the dash started flashing when it hit the guardrail, then after that, unsure when the car died and no power. The tow truck driver could not turn the steering wheel when he tried to pull it up the flat bed.
My car was stopped at the red light in traffic waiting for the light to turn green when my vehicle was rear ended car dashboard registered that the airbags went off along with smell of the airbag ignition powder however no airbags actually were released
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK, ON I-95, AND IT WAS RAINING HARD ENOUGH FOR ME TO HAVE MY WIPERS MOVING CONSTANTLY. OUT OF NOWHERE, THE DRIVER SIDE WIPER JUST STOPPED WORKING. IT WENT UP, BUT IT NEVER CAME BACK DOWN.
THE OIL PAN KEEPS LEAKING. ANTIFREEZE WON'T HOLD
BOUGHT 2015 CRUZE LT USED IN 2017 FROM LHM USED CAR SUPERMARKET. 3 MONTHS LATER I'M RETURNING TO DEALERSHIP AS THERE IS A LARGE QUANTITY OF DEXCOOL ON THE GROUND. STILL UNDER WARRANTY THEY REPLACE THE WATER PUMP. 3 MONTHS LATER AND THE VEHICLE STARTS SHAKING AND SHUDDERING WHILE AT STOP LIGHTS LOOSES POWER AND EVEN STALLS ON THE HIGHWAY. TOOK IT TO MECHANIC OUTSIDE THE LHM PERVIEW AND MECHANIC STATED: LEAKING COOLANT ON TRANSMISSION HOUSING AND POOLING THERE DRAIN PLUG STRIPPED OUT CAUSING MASSIVE OIL LEAK AND PCV BAD NEEDS REPLACED. THE NEW MECHANIC REPLACED THE OIL PAN AND GAVE ESTIMATES FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR FOR THE PCV AND THE COOLANT LEAK. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVE MY CRUZE BUT I WAS TOLD ID BE CLOSE TO WHAT I OWE ON THE CAR TO REPAIR IT AS CHEVROLET WILL NOT DO A RECALL ON THE MASSIVE ISSUE PARTS, THERE IS ONLY 59,213 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. SOMEONE FROM CHEVROLET NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS AND EITHER FIX THE ISSUE OR MAKE SOME SORT OF RECOMPENSE FOR THOSE WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS I AM.
I had the water outlet assembly repaired by Mike Castrucci Chevrolet on 02/05/21. I had it repaired again by Car X on 04/05/2023. Car X said that Mike Castrucci Chevrolet tightened the screw on the part and stripped it. This could have caused me to buy a $2,000 head gasket. This part was recalled on the 2011-2014 Chevrolet Cruze. Mine is a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze purchased in August 2015. No warning lamps told me of this problem. Onstar did not detect it.
TO WHOM EVER IT CONCERNS TO, I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG BEING STRIPPED O MY 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE. EVERY SINCE I BOUGHT MY CHEVROLET CRUZE TO GET OIL CHANGES THE PROBLEMS ALWAYS ARISES.I'VE LOOKED AT DIFFERENT FORUMS AND LOOK AT YOUTUBE VIDEOS TO SEE IF OTHERS ALSO HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THE OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG BEING STRIPPED. THERE OTHERS THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THAT PARTICULAR CAR.I LOVE THE CHEVROLET BRAND. I HAVE TWO CHEVY CARS THAT I LOVE WHICH ARE MY IMPALA AND MY CRUZE. I HAD MY IMPALA FOR ALMOST EIGHT YEARS NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE DRAIN PLUG BEING STRIPPED. I WAS IN MY YARD DAY COMING BACK FROM AN OIL CHANGE AND SAW A PUDDLE OF OIL IN MY FRONT YARD. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT EXAMINED AND THEY SAID FIX THE PROBLEM. LEFT THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN DROVE OFF NOTICE THAT IT WAS STILL LEAKING. THIS TIME I TOOK IT BACK AGAIN THEY HAD TO GIVE ME AN EXPANDED DRAIN PLUG TO FIX THE ISSUE. THE PROBLEM HAVE BEEN RESOLVED FOR THE MOMENT. IF I WAS AWARE OF THE OIL LEAKING OUT IT COULD HAVE BLOWN MY ENGINE WHICH WOULD'VE CAUSE ME TO LOSE MY CAR. I FEEL THE OIL PAN THAT ARE ON THE CRUZES SHOULD BE DESIGN A CERTAIN WAY SO THE ISSUES WOULDN'T HAVE TO ARISE.
THE CHECK STABILITRAK LIGHT AND ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON IT LOSES ENGINE POWER WONT GO OVER 3MPH . IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT 55MPH ON A BUSY HWY. ALSO MY RADIO SCREEN THAT CONTROLS THE BACKUP CAMERA AND OTHER SETTINGS HAS WENT BLACK. I HAD A MECHANIC RUN DIAGNOSTICS ON IT AND 33 DIFFERENT CODES POPPED UP SO THEY TOLD ME MORE THAN LIKELY IT'S AN ECM ISSUE AND IT HAS TO BE REPAIRED AT THE DEALERSHIP

In December 2020 my vehicle was involved in an accident where I hit a curb which cracked my rim and deployed airbags. My airbag light is on I'm passenger seat belt is stuck due to airbag.
MY CAR HAS BEEN SHAKING, LOW IDLE, WHEN AT A STOP LIGHT I HAVE TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND PUSH GAS PEDAL TO KEEP IT FROM STALING. WHEN LIGHT TURNS GREEN IT WON'T GO EVEN THOUGH I AM PUSHING THE GAS PEDAL. I'M TO SCARED TO DRIVE IT ANYMORE. I HAVE HAD TO GET IT FIXED TOO MANY TIMES TO COUNT.
THE WIPER TRANSMISSION BROKE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I CAN LOOK THROUGH THE PLASTIC SHIELD AND SEE IF HAS CAME APART. I HAVE NO DRIVERS WIPER FUNCTION NO MORE. I SEE ONLINE THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH CRUZES. THE CAR ONLY HAS 54K ON IT. I NOW HAVE TO PAY A $100 DEDUCTIBLE ON MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE GONE BAD THIS SOON AND SHOULD BE COVERED BY GM. ITS A SAFETLY HAZARD NOT HAVING A WIPER IN RAINING WEATHER WHICH ITAS BEEN RAINING FOR DAYS LATELY.
STEREO BLINKS ON AND OFF, WHILE DRIVING OR PUTTING THE WINDOWS UP OR DOWN OR EVEN SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT. DASH LIGHTS BELOW THE STEREO BLINK ON AND OFF. STABILI TRACK LIGHT, ABS LIGHT BLINK ON AND OFF. WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH FLASH. BLINKERS TURN OFF INTERMITTENTLY. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL!!!!! I'M NOT THE ONLY HAVING ISSUES LIKE THIS. WE DON'T SPEND 1000'S OF DOLLARS FOR GARBAGE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP FIXING THIS THING!
WHEN THE CARE IS RUNNING IT WILL BEGIN TO LOSE ACCELERATION THIS HAPPENS UNKNOWING TO ME .IT HAS HAPPENED ON THE FREEWAY WHICH IS VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS

THIS CAR IS TRULY A LEMON. I PURCHASED THE CHEVY CRUZE BASED ON ITS REPUTATION. I AM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT BE PURCHASING A CHEVY VEHICLE IN THE FUTURE.

CAR STARTED SPUTTERING ON ACCELERATION AND AT CRUISING SPEEDS.. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WITH CODE P0171 FUEL SYSTEM TOO LEAN BANK 1. PCV VALVE LEAKING REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF VALVE COVER
MY CAR ACTS AS IF IT IS GOING TO STALL OUT AT 20MPH, IT IS AUTOMATIC AND THE CAR JERKS VIOLENTLY WHEN IN MOTION AND CAN BE ON AND OFF. MY FIRST CODE THAT POPPED UP WAS FOR A MISFIRE, THE SECOND FOR SERVICING THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND GOES OVER 15MPH. ONCE I GET TO THE DESIRED SPEED IT'LL STOP JERKING AS BAD BUT IF I SLOW DOWN A LITTLE AND SPEED BACK UP IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN AND DOES NOT FEEL LIKE PUSHING THE ACCELERATOR IS MAKING THE CAR MOVE AT ALL. I REPEATEDLY PRESS ON THE GAS AND LET GO TO TRY TO GET IT TO STOP BUT CONTINUE IN MOTION. IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE OVER THE WEEK AND I HAVE CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS AND CHECKED FOR LEAKS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP, THE ENGINE VIBRATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. SEVERAL OTHER UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENTAL PANEL REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOW DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED. THE MECHANIC LOCATED FAILURE CODE P0171 WHICH WAS RELATED TO THE ENGINE AND A POSSIBLE FUEL SYSTEM THAT WAS RUNNING WEAK OR A POSSIBLE VACUUM LEAK NEAR THE ENGINE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE 90,000.
ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AFTER BEING PARKED ,NO CODES SHOW UP WHEN DIAGNOSED, HEARD THERE WAS RECALL FOR THAT BUT IT DOESN'T SHOW FOR MY CAR
HAD TO REPLACE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND MY ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND IT'S SHOWING THAT THAT IS STILL AN ISSUE. A MECHANIC TOLD ME THIS HAS BEEN A COMMON ISSUE WITH OTHER CHEVY CRUZE.
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND THE CODE READS AS A PROBLEM WITH THE OXYGEN SENSOR (WHICH HAS BEEN A RECALL ON OTHER CHEVY CRUZE MODELS). OUR SPECIFIC VIN NUMBER HASN'T BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECALL BUT WE ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 CHEVROLET CRUZE. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER HUSBAND WAS DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE REAR-ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WAS NO WARNING. THERE WAS NO INJURY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND WAS TOWED AWAY BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAD NOT MADE A DECISION ON THE STATUS OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CALLED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,593.
I JUST HAD WORK DONE ON THE ENGINE FOR THE 5TH TIME IN THE LAST 2 YEARS. ALL REPAIRS ARE RELATED TO THE ENGINE OVERHEATING OR NOT REGULATING PROPERLY. THE FIRST TIME THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE REPAIRS TO THE ENGINE HAVE COST ME ALMOST $3000 AND THAT IS NOT INCLUDING NORMAL MAINTENANCE. THE MOST RECENT ISSUE IS THE TURBOCHARGER BYPASS VALVE. I HAD IT REPLACED ON 6/27/20 AND THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON WITH THE SAME CODE ON 6/28/20. WHEN I HAD WORK DONE AT THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER OF 2019 I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THEY ARE SEEING IN ALMOST ALL CHEVY CRUZES. I'VE BEEN TOLD THIS AT 5+ DIFFERENT DEVICE CENTERS WHILE GETTING REPAIRS DONE ON THE ENGINE OR GENERAL MAINTENANCE DONE. THE CAR HASN'T EVEN REACHED 100,000 MILES AND I'M BEING TOLD I PROBABLY NEED A NEW ENGINE. THIS IS NOT OK. I'VE BOUGHT AND REPAIRED THIS CAR AT CHEVY DEALERSHIPS. ALL MY ENGINE ISSUES HAPPEN WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION, AND THE CAR SHAKES A LOT DUE TO THE ENGINE OVERHEATING EVEN THOUGH THE TEMPERATURE GAGE READING IS NORMAL. SOME OF MY REPAIRS WERE DONE WITH THE WRONG VIN NUMBER RECORDED. THE REPAIRS WERE RECORDED UNDER MY 2014 CHEVY CRUZE. IT SHARED THE SAME LICENSE PLATE BUT THE 2014 CRUZE WAS TOTALED IN 2017.

SAME OVERHEATING ISSUES AS MENTIONED IN 2011-2014 WATER PUMP RECALL. ALL 2015+ MODELS NEED TO BE INCLUDED IN RECALL. I HAVE PAID A LOT TO HAVE ISSUE FIXED BUT CAR IS STILL OVERHEATING. PLEASE UPDATE AND INCLUDE 2015 MODELS IN RECALL. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR.
I WAS CROSSING A HIGHWAY WHEN MY 2015 CHEVY CRUZE STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND EXPERIENCED A LOSS IN POWER, THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS THEN DISPLAYED ACROSS MY DASH, I MANAGED TO LIMP IT HOME AND THEN TOOK IT TO THE MECHANICS THE NEXT DAY. THE MECHANICS CHECKED THE CODES AND FOUND THAT, A ENGINE MISFIRE WAS DETECTED, THE FUEL INJECTOR CONTROL MOD WAS NOT AVAILABLE, OR THERE WAS A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM, THE ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, THE DIGITAL RADIO RECEIVER CONTROLLER WAS NOT AVAILABLE, OR WAS EXPERIENCING A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM, AND THE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL WAS DISPLAYING FAILURES IN AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT, AND LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE HVAC CONTROL MODULE. IT TURNS OUT THAT DUE TO A MANUFACTURER ERROR (CHEVY/ GENERAL MOTORS) THAT THE CARS IGNITION COIL TOWERS HAD BURNED OFF ON CYLINDERS 2 & 4 AND HAD TAKEN OUT THE SPARK PLUGS AS WELL. SO DUE TO THIS MANUFACTURER ERROR, NOT ONLY WAS EVERYONE IN MY VEHICLE PLACED AT DANGER, BUT I ALSO HAD TO GET EVERYTHING REPLACED FOR A TOTAL OF $432.80 A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER FINDING OUT I HAD BEEN LAYED OFF OF WORK.
MY DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW HAS BEEN SERVICED TWICE FOR BEING STUCK. EITHER IT WON'T ROLL BACK UP OR IT WON'T ROLL DOWN. I HAVE MY CAR SERVICED BY A CHEVY DEALER. THE WINDOW IS CURRENTLY STUCK ALL THE WAY DOWN. THIS WOULD BE THE THIRD TIME THAT THOS HAS OCCURED. IT IS ONLY AFFECTING MY DRIVER WINDOW. ALL OTHER WINDOWS OPEN AND CLOSE WITHOUT AND ISSUES.
THE CAR OVERHEATS WHENEVER THE AIR IS TURNED ON. REPLACED THERMOSTAT AND HAD THE RADIATOR REPLACED. NO RESOLUTION.
WHEN THE DRIVER SIDE WIPER IS IN MOTION THE ARM REACHES TOO FAR TO THE LEFT AND GET STUCK OR ARM CONNECTION UNDER THE WINDSHIELD THAT LOOK LIKE A BALL IN SOCKET DISLOCATES WHEN DRIVING IN THE RAIN. CAUSING POOR VISIBILITY.

BOUGHT A USED 2015 CHEVY CRUZE LTZ, CARFAX CHECKED OUT EXCEPT FOR WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS A YEAR OLD IT FAILED EMISSIONS TESTING 5/2019 (NO DETAILED INFORMATION OF THE WORK DONE, ASSUMING WORK DONE) BUT IT SHOWS AS PASSING EVER SINCE UNTIL DECEMBER 2019. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON 12/20\19 COMING TO A STOP OR RIGHT AS CAR WAS PARKED, CODE P0420 ON 12/24/19 FAILED EMISSIONS, CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACED 12/26/19, CAR PICKED UP 12/28/19 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AGAIN SAME DAY AFTER FILLING UP WITH GAS, STARTING CAR BUT WAS STATIONARY, CAR RETURNED TO DEALER DTC OF P0420 AGAIN, 12/31 UNIVERSAL FLEX, CLAMP/WELD DONE. CAR PICKED UP 1/2/2020, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON COMING TO A STOP AT A RED LIGHT.CAR RETURNED TO DEALER 1/20/2020. TOLD POSSIBLY FAULTY AFTERMARKET CATALYTIC CONVERTERS USED, ORDERING CATALYTIC CONVERTER FROM GM. WAITING FOR THAT TO TAKE PLACE.
THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN TWICE FOR OIL LEAKS, PROBLEMS WITH THE PCV SYSTEM AND INTAKE MANIFOLD. AFTER THE ITEMS WERE REPAIRED AT THE DEALER, THE VEHICLE TURNS OFF AT IDLE AND ROUGH IDLES. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM STILL GOES OFF AND ON. THE VEHICLE HAS TURNED OFF WHILE STOPPED AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS.
WHEN TURNING ON THE CAR A NUMBER OF "IDIOT" LIGHTS WOULD TURN ON. FOR EXAMPLE, EMERGENCY BRAKE WHEN THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS NOT ON. ADDITIONALLY, THE DIGITAL SCREEN GAVE ME SERVICE MESSAGES SUCH AS "SERVICE PARKING ASSIST", "SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT" AND OTHERS. WHILE DRIVING, THE RADIO SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND ALL MY DASHLIGHTS TURNED OFF THEN CAME BACK ON FOR A MOMENT THEN TURNED OFF AGAIN. MY RPM, MPH, GAS GAUGE, AND TEMPERATURE GAUGES WERE ALSO NOT WORKING. THE ENTIRE DIGITAL SCREEN ON THE DASHBOARD DID NOT GIVE SPEED, TIRE PRESSURE, OIL PRESSURE, OR ANY OTHER READINGS.ALL OF THESE THINGS OCCURRED WHILE PARKED AND DRIVING. I WAS DRIVING ON BOTH CITY STREETS AND A HIGHWAY.
TERRIBLE SMELL MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE. WHEN I DRIVE THE VEHICLE MY EYES WATER. THERE IS NO HEAT OR AIR ON BUT HOT AIR IS COMING INTO THE CAB.THERE IS A REALLY BAD SMELL IN THE CAB AFTER A DEALERSHIP ALREADY REPLACED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER LESS THAN FOUR MONTHS AGO. THERE HAVE BEEN EXTENSIVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE TIME AND TIME AGAIN LIKE STALLING ON THE FREEWAY WITH NO WARNING SIGNS, BELTS REPAIRS, EXHAUST PROBLEMS, ETC. I HAVE NOT EVEN OWNED THIS VEHICLE FOR THREE YEARS,
CAR HAD BEEN REPAIRED FOR A CRACKED RADIATOR. DIAGNOSTIC TEST SHOWED THAT TURBOCHARGER IS MALFUNCTIONING. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE THERE WAS ISSUES WITH ENGINE THE ENGINE STALLING. UPON DRIVING THE ACCELERATION OF THE VEHICLE IS ABNORMAL, LOUD ENGINE NOISES UPON ACCELERATION AND AND CAR DOES NOT PICK UP SPEED AT A FAST ENOUGH RATE TO SAFELY MERGE INTO TRAFFIC AND NAVIGATE AT A SAFE SPEED.
PURCHASED VEHICLE USED 8/2017. 5/2018 CAR SMOKING AND OVERHEATING WHILE DRIVING. WATER PUMP REPLACED. STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH CAR OVERHEATING WHILE DRIVING, I WAS REPLACING COOLANT ABOUT ONCE A MONTH. TWICE THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING WAS REPLACED, 8/2018 AND 11/2018. CAR HAD ISSUES AGAIN OVERHEATING WHILE DRIVING IN 4/2019. AN INTERCOOLER PIPE, PVC PIPE, WATER PIPE, AND WATER HOSE WERE REPLACED. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN IN 9/2019, MANY ISSUES WERE FOUND BUT I ONLY HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO REPAIR THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. AT THIS POINT I WAS REPLACING COOLANT EVERY TWO WEEKS TO AVOID THE ENGINE OVERHEATING AND AT TIMES IT WAS A VISIBLE PUDDLE COMING FROM UNDER THE CAR. 11/20/2019 I RETURNED TO GET A SENSOR AND ANOTHER THERMOSTAT HOUSING REPLACED. 11/27/2019 I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE SHOP AFTER MY VEHICLE BEGAN SMOKING WHILE DRIVING. I PULLED OVER AND COOLANT WAS QUICKLY DRIPPING OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR. THE RADIATOR WAS CRACKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO ME I NOTICED THAT THE ENGINE WAS NOISY AND THERE WAS A SCREECHY SOUND UPON ACCELERATION. I HAD TROUBLE PICKING UP SPEED. I GOT TO THE GAS STATION ABOUT A MILE AWAY AND TURNED OFF THE CAR TO GET GAS. WHEN I TURN THE VEHICLE BACK ON THE ENGINE BEGAN TO SHAKE, REV UP AND DOWN ON ITS OWN, AND THEN CUT OFF. I TRIED A FEW TIMES TO START THE CAR UP AND IT HAPPENED EVERY TIME. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE REPAIR SHOP AND HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK THE SAME NIGHT. THEY WERE ABLE TO LOOK AT IT ON 11/29/2019 AND REPORTED THAT THEY SAW NO ISSUES. IN DISBELIEF, I PICKED UP THE CAR, AND I DROVE AROUND FOR ALMOST A WEEK. I ENDED UP COMING BACK TO RIDE ALONG WHILE A TECHNICIAN TEST DROVE THE CAR. HE SAW AND HEARD THE SAME ISSUES THAT I CLEARLY HAD WITH THE VEHICLE. WE RETURNED BACK TO THE SHOP AND HE DID A DIAGNOSTIC TEST THAT SHOWED THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE TURBOCHARGER.
STARTED CAR AND IT RANDOMLY THE SERVICE STABILITY TRAK LIGHT CAME ON. STARTED TO DRIVE HOME AND CAR STARTED SPUTTERING AND SHAKING AS IF IT WANTED TO CUT OFF. GOT HOME TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON THE LIGHT WENT OFF BUT CAR STILL SPUTTERS AND SHAKES AND HESITATES TO ACCELERATE.
CAR SURGES, ENGINE LOSES POWER OFF, C/S TRACTION CONTROL/STABILITRAC LIGHT COMES ON DASH, DOOR LOCKS ACTIVATING ON THEIR OWN, WE HAVE PUT NEW BATTERY NEW NEGATIVE CABLE WITH NEW BOLT. CAR AT SPEED 60- 65 THIS HAPPEN,DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AND INTERSTATE. I DROVE CAR 3 TIMES HAPPENED, TECH DROVE CAR THIS HAPPENED, CAR BEEN CHECKED AT DEALER 3 TIMES AND STILL AT DEALER AS OF 11/16/2019
I AM LEASING THIS CAR USED. THERE IS PROOF FROM PREVIOUS OWNER HIS TROUBLE WITH DRIVER WINDOW STOPS WORKING DUE TO MOTOR INSIDE WINDOW OR UNLINKING. HE HAS A RECEIPT OF REPLACING THIS AND I HAVE REPLACED 3 MORE TIMES THEY DEALER PARTS AND EVERYTHING AND IT HAS STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. THE LAST ONE ALMOST STARTED ON FIRE INSIDE MY DOOR. IT HAPPENS WHENEVER I USE THE WINDOW WHETHER BEING PARKED OR DRIVING.
