WHEN DEPRESSING BRAKES IT CHATTERS SO BAD I THOUGHT THE FRONT END WAS GOING TO FALL OFF, IT CONTINUED UNTIL I PULLED THE FUSES FOR THE ABS, AFTER REPLACING THE ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS. *TR
THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT AT RANDOM INTERVALS. IF YOU TURN THE CAR OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN, IT WORKS JUST FINE. IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IF IT HAPPENED IN A SITUATION WHERE I WAS EXPECTING IT TO WORK, BUT IT DIDN'T. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER'S SIDE DOOR HANDLES WERE FRACTURED. THE DEALER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE DOOR PANEL ON BOTH DOORS WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. THE CONTACT ALSO EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY STEERING ON ANOTHER OCCASION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
DISPLAY SHOWED POWER STEERING ERROR AND TRANSMISSION BOX WAS CLICKING. CAR STARTED BUCKING AS IF TRANSMISSION WAS GOING OUT. TOOK TO DEALER WHO COULD NOT REPLICATE ERROR AFTER THREE DAYS. PICKED UP CAR AND NOW CD PLAYER SHOWS ERR O. THIS IS FRUSTRATING AS HECK! DEALER DID SAY THAT THERE WAS A BULLETIN THAT 2006 HHR'S DID HAVE THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM. DEALER REP. OWNS 2007 HHR AND HOPED HE DID NOT HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. SPENT OVER $700 TOTAL AND PROBLEM STILL THERE? CHEVROLET / GM WHERE IS YOUR LOYALTY TO YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS? ISSUE A RECALL AND FIX THESE ISSUES BEFORE THERE ARE DEATHS BECAUSE OF THEM AND YOU ARE FORCED TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT BY THE GOV.'T. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE POWER STEERING SEIZED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT. AFTER SHUTTING OFF AND RESTARTING THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING WAS RESET HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES WITHIN THE SAME TRIP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED BY A DEALER NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 53,000.
I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE 195 IN NJ & HIGHSPEED & POWER STEERING WENT OUT & WHOLE DIC INSTRUMENTS WENT HAYWIRE CAR STARTED BUCKING & ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE & WENT INTO OTHER LANE WITH ON COMING TRACTOR TRAILER THERE. I PULLED OVER & SHUT CAR OFF WAITED 5 MINS & ALL WAS FINE,I THOUGHTSTRANGE SO I CONTINUED & IT DID SAME THING 2 DAYS LATER GOING 45 MPH. DEALER CANT SOLVE IT BUT ITS HAPPENING TO LOTS OF HHR ON HHR FORUMS. THERE ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING MOTOR IS BAD & COST IS OVER $500 TO REPAIR, HOWEVER THE PONTIAC & CHEVY COBALT WHICH HAVE SAME FRAME & PARTS AS HHR ARE ALL BEING RECALLED BUT NOTHING ABOUT THE HHR??? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE WHEN THE COBALT & HHR ARE SAME CAR BUT DIFFERENT BODY & MADE BY GM. I KNOW & SEE ALOT OF OLDER FOLKS DRIVE THESE HHR & I'M 6' 250 LBS & WAS ABLE TO HANDLE THIS TO SAFETY BUT THESE OLDER FOLKS WONT BE SO LUCKY. ITS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE WHEN THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT WHEN YOUR DOING 70 ON AN INTERSTATE WITH EVERYONE DOING SAME SPEED & SOMETIMES FASTER. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE FROM GM TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM WHEN 100-1000 ARE EXPERIENCING SAME PROBLEM & THAT THE COBALT HAS BEEN RECALLED BUT NOT THE HHR & ITS THE SAME EXACT CAR. I HOPE IT GETS RESOLVED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED OR BADLY INJURED, CONCERNED HHR OWNER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE FRACTURED. THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE DOOR ONE YEAR PRIOR TO THE RECENT FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE DOOR HANDLES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BUT THE PARTS WERE ON A NATIONAL BACK ORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 88,000.
WHEN DRIVING VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY 20MPH, CHIME SOUNDS, DASH DISPLAYS POWER STEERING MESSAGE AND POWER STEERING IS GONE. HAS HAPPENED TWICE AND WHEN GOING AROUND CORNER NEARLY CRASH TWICE NOW DUE TO SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING. I BOUGHT THIS CAR NEW 1/2/06 AND IT ONLY HAS A TAD OVER 40,000 MILES SO WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. VEHICLE HAS SAME POWER STEERING PUMP AS COBALT FOR WHICH A RECALL WAS DONE. SAME EXACT PART MEANS PROBLEM SHOULD NOT JUST BE LIMITED TO THE COBALT AND G5. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND COBALT & G5 WERE RECALLED BUT NOT THE HHR. I BELONG TO A VERY LARGE HHR COMMUNITY AND THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. I LIVE IN COLORADO AND HAD THIS HAPPENED WHEN ROADS WERE ICY IT COULD HAVE CREATED A SERIOUS ISSUE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS AS THE OTHER VEHICLES THE SAME YEAR AS MINE WITH THE SAME PART HAVE BEEN RECALLED. IT'S AN OBVIOUS DEFECT AND OUT OF CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY OF THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE AND THE OTHERS AROUND THEM WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS, THE COST TO REPAIR SHOULD REST ON CHEVROLET AND NOT THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT MERGED ONTO THE SHOULDER AND TURNED THE ENGINE OFF. ONCE RESTARTED, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST INDEPENDENTLY RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN WHEN THE POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY WAS VERY HARD TO TURN. I ENTERED INTO ANOTHER LANE BEFORE I COULD GET IT BACK IN MINE. I STOPPED ON THE FREEWAY AND TURNED OFF MY VEHICLE. A YOUNG MAN STOPPED AND ASKED ME WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND I TOLD HIM IT TERRIFIED ME, BUT THAT WHILE TURNING MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT. I HAD LOST MY POWER STEERING. HE SAID MY POWER STEERING WAS ELECTRICAL AND TO TRY AND TURN THE CAR BACK ON TO RESET THE POWER STEERING. I DID, AND THE POWER STEERING WAS FINE. MADE IT HOME. HOWEVER, HAVE HAD ABOUT 10 MORE INSTANCES OF THE POWER STEERING GOING OUT WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT, WHILE TURNING, AND WHILE DRIVING ON A STRAIGHT FREEWAY. IT IS IN THE CHEVROLET DEALER AS OF TODAY. $1,307.00 TO FIX. THEY CHECKED MY VIN # AND SAID I DON'T QUALIFY FOR ANY RECALLS. THIS IS SO DANGEROUS. GM SHOULD RECALL THESE, AND OR PAY US FOR THIS PROBLEM WE HAVE HAD TO GET FIXED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH AND LIGHTLY DEPRESSING THE BRAKES, THE BRAKES DID NOT RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP AND THE CONTACT STEERED THE VEHICLE ONTO GRASS AND CONTINUED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKES, BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE DID NOT COME TO A STOP UNTIL CRASHING INTO A TREE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A FRACTURED ANKLE AND THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 44,000.
AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE I HEARD A DOUBLE CHIME AND LOOKED AT MY CONSOLE AND NOTICED THE POWER STEERING WARNING HAD COME ON. AT THAT TIME I NOTICED STEERING HAD BECOME VERY STIFF. AFTER SHUTTING THE VEHICLE OFF AND RESTARTING IT I FOUND IT TO BE WORKING FINE AGAIN, NO WARNING LIGHTS, NO ISSUES TURNING THE WHEEL. APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES LATER, COMING OFF THE INTERSTATE, THE SAME WARNING RETURNED AND POWER WAS IMMEDIATELY LOST IN STEERING. UPON LEAVING WORK TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP, TWO HOURS LATER, THE CAR WAS RUNNING AS IT DID PRIOR TO THE POWER LOSS. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN. IF I HAD NOT BEEN A STRAIGHT AWAY BOTH TIMES I COULD HAVE HAD CAUSED AN ACCIDENT OR BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT MYSELF. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE FOR MORE THAN FIVE YEARS AND HAVE HAD NEARLY NO PROBLEMS WITH IT UNTIL RECENTLY. I AM AN ACTIVE DUTY MEMBER AND AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THOSE AROUND ME WHO DRIVE THIS MAKE AND MODEL OF A VEHICLE AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, A WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED WITH THE LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSIST. THE ENGINE WAS SHUT OFF HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED AFTER RESTARTING. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWENTY TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO INDICATED THAT THERE WAS A MALFUNCTION WITH THE POWER STEERING MOTOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED AND BECAME HARD TO TURN. THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED SEVERAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
I HAVE A 2006 CHEVY HHR WITH 44,000 MILES. WHILE DRIVING THE POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH, THEN THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT, ALMOST CAUSING ME TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR IN A CURVE. I AM A 65 YEAR OLD FEMALE, I DO NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH IN MY ARMS TO MANEUVER A VEHICLE THAT LOOSES POWER STEERING UNEXPECTEDLY. I MADE IT HOME AND DID A SEARCH ON THE INTERNET FOR A RECALL, I FOUND WHERE GM RECALLED 1.3 MILLION COBALTS WITH THE SAME ELECTRIC MOTOR AS THE HHR, HOWEVER, THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THE HHR. GM IS WELL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. HHR OWNERS ARE ALL OVER THE INTERNET COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS POWER STEERING PROBLEM. I AM TOLD THAT IT COULD COST OVER $2000.00 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN WITH A LIMITED INCOME, I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY TO HAVE THE CAR FIXED OR TO PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE. I READ ON THE INTERNET THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY BEEN HURT DUE TO THIS DEFECT. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSES BY GM AND FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE OR DETECT A TROUBLE CODE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FROM DAY ONE THEY HAVE REPLACED MY SHOCK OR STRUT ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AT LEAST 4 TIMES AND IT NEEDS TO BE DONE AGAIN. CAN YOU TELL ME WHY? *TR
ABOUT 4 MONTH AGO THE DOOR HANDLE ON THE FRONT INSIDE PASSENGER SIDE BROKE FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON. THERE WAS NO FORCE WHEN ABOUT TO OPEN DOOR AND THE HANDLE JUST STAYED IN MY HAND. I CALLED CHEVY DEALER TO SEE IF I COULD JUST BUY THE HANDLE, I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE PANEL WHICH WAS ABOUT $400.DLLS WITH INSTALLATION. I CAN'T AFFORD THAT AMOUNT ON JUS A PLASTIC DOOR HANDLE(FOR SOME REASON I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS METAL.) I TRY NOT TO SIT ANYBODY ON FRONT INSIDE PASSENGER SEAT BECAUSE I'M AFRAID THAT GOD FORBID I GET IN TO AN ACCIDENT, MY FRONT PASSENGER WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT. I REALLY THINK GM SHOULD OF MAKE THE HANDLES OF METAL, BUT SINCE THEIR ARE PLASTIC AND OBVIOUSLY DEFECTED THEN THEY SHOULD OF AT LEAST MAKE THE HANDLE SEPARATED FROM PANEL SO THAT WE THE BUYERS COULD BUY IT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING, THE DASHBOARD SIGNALED "POWER STEERING" AND THE CAR IMMEDIATELY LOST ALL POWER STEERING MAKING TURNING VERY DIFFICULT. AFTER TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND ON AGAIN, POWER STEERING RESUMED. THE PROBLEM DIDN'T RETURN AGAIN FOR ABOUT 150+ MILES. EACH TIME IT HAPPENED, THE "CURE" WAS TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND RESTART. HOWEVER, THE TIME BETWEEN RECURRENCES BECAME SHORTER AND THE OWNERS MANUAL'S ONLY INFORMATION SAID TO 'RETURN TO THE DEALER'. I DID THIS AND THE SYSTEM WAS REPLACED FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS (I DON'T HAVE THE BILL HANDY RIGHT NOW). FROM WHAT I HAVE FOUND ON THIS NHTSA SITE, THE STEERING FAILURE IS A KNOWN DEFICIENCY AND A FREQUENT COMPLAINT OF HHR OWNERS. CHEVY NEEDS TO BE FORCED TO MAKE REPAIRS AND RESTITUTION - THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE - WHEN THE STEERING FAILS, IT IMMEDIATELY MAKES TURNING DANGEROUS! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 5 MPH WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECAME STUCK AND THE VEHICLE INCREASED TO A SPEED OF 80 MPH, DESPITE THE BRAKES BEING DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE WAS RESOLVED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS POWERED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC AND THE MANUFACTURE WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 62,000 .
THE CAR WOULD LOSE POWER STEERING AFTER ACCELERATING PAST 5 OR 10 MPH. INITIALLY YOU COULD TURN THE IGNITION OFF AND BACK ON AND IT WOULD HAVE POWER STEERING FOR A PERIOD AND THEN GO OFF AGAIN. "POWER STEERING" FLASHED ON THE DASH DISPLAY. AFTER A FEW WEEKS THE PROBLEM CONTINUED AND COULD NO LONGER BE REMEDIED BY TURNING THE CAR OFF AND ON AGAIN. OUR REGULAR REPAIR SHOP STATED THE DEALER WOULD HAVE TO FIX IT WHEN WE HAD THEM DOING SOME ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. THE DEALER COST BEING AN UNKNOWN WE JUST DECIDED TO LIVE WITHOUT POWER STEERING GOING ON A YEAR OR SO NOW. WE FINALLY BIT THE BULLET AND BROUGHT IT IN - BAD MOTOR ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH REPAIR COST $379. AFTER SEEING SO MANY PEOPLE POSTING ON THE WEB WITH THE SAME PROBLEM IT'S CLEAR THE MODEL SHOULD BE RECALLED. I HAVE A COMPLAINT IN TO GENERAL MOTORS AT THIS TIME AND THEY ARE SEEING IF THEY CAN HELP. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY WOULD, I DON'T THINK WE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS. WE WILL BUY A NEW VEHICLE TO REPLACE THIS ONE PROBABLY WITHIN 12 MONTHS. RELUCTANT TO BUY AMERICAN MADE AGAIN - WE HAVE HAD MUCH BETTER LUCK WITH MULTIPLE TOYOTAS. HOPE PEOPLE CONTINUE TO POST COMPLAINTS - THAT'S THE ONLY WAY RECALLS AND CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY CAN HAPPEN. *TR
WHEN PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE THE "POWER STEERING" WARNING FLASHED ON MY DASHBOARD AND THE STEERING BECAME VERY HARD. AFTER STOPPING THE CAR AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE AND CHECKING UNDER THE HOOD I FOUND I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM. UPON RESTARTING THE CAR THE LIGHT WENT OFF AND THE STEERING WAS FINE. AFTER SEVERAL DAYS THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND THE SAME PROBLEM STEERING OCCURRED. THIS HAPPENED WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY. I RESEARCHED ONLINE HOW TO RESOLVE AND THIS BECAME A RECURRING ISSUE IN FORUMS THAT PEOPLE HAD WITH THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM CONSTANTLY TURNING OFF AND NEEDING TO BE RESET. THIS PROBLEM HAS SINCE SPED UP IN OCCURRENCE SINCE THEN. *TR

CAR SUDDENLY LOSES POWER STEERING. SHUTTING OFF THE CAR ALLOWS THE POWER STEERING TO RESET AND WORK AGAIN BUT IT LOSES THE POWER STEERING AGAIN AT RANDOM TIMES. THE ELECTRIC STEERING WILL SHUT DOWN AND THE MESSAGE CENTER ON THE DASH WILL SHOW "POWER STEERING" AND THE VEHICLE BECOMES VERY HARD TO STEER. *TR
IT BEGAN WITH MY KEY GETTING STUCK IN THE IGNITION, WOULD HAVE TO TRY TO PLACE IN PARK MULTIPLE TIMES TO RELEASE THE KEY. FOUND THE PANEL IN THE STEERING COLUMN AND THE RELEASE BUTTON TO REMOVE KEY. NOW THE GEAR SHIFT BUTTON IS STUCK IN THE PRESSED POSITION, MAKING THE CAR VULNERABLE TO COMING OUT OF GEAR. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND COSTLY TO FIX. FROM LISTENING TO SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT A FORMER DEALER, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH HHR AND COBALTS. ADDITIONAL PERSONAL RESEARCH HAS INDICATED THIS IS A COMMON AND KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE MANUFACTURER. THIS DEFECT IS UNSAFE AND SHOULD BE RECALLED AND FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER ON THEIR DIME, NOT MINE. IN ADDITION, THE ROTORS KNOCK AND HAVE HAD TO BE REPLACED. I HAD ONE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY, THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE BOTH FRONT ROTORS. NOW THE OPPOSITE IS KNOCKING AND IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS ALSO A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE CARS AND NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED ON ANY CAR WITH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 08V046000 (AIR BAGS). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
I PUT MY CAR IN PARK AND WHEN I WENT TO TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION IT WOULD NOT COME OUT.
