THE POWER STEERING FAILURE LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS OTHER LIGHTS AND THE RADIO STOP WORKING,DEALER SAID POWER STEERING MODULE WAS NO GOOD BUT COULD NOT FIND OUT WHY DASH LIGHTS COME ON AND WHY RADIO STOPS WORKING WHEN WE SEEM TO HIT A BUMP.IT COST ME OVER 1700.00 DOLLARS TO REPAIR AND THEY SAID NOTHING WAS UNDER WARRANTY OR A RECALL. I SEE THE COBALT WAS RECALL FOR THE SAME PROBLEM WHY NOT THE HHR SAME UNIT. *TR

CONSUMER WANTS TO KNOW IF THERE IS A RECALL ON THE FRONT BUMPER OF HER 2006 CHEVROLET HHR. *NJ THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE GEAR SHIFT AND THE DOOR LATCHES BEGAN TO MOVE UP AND DOWN. ALSO, THE VEHICLE STARTED ACTING ERRATIC WHILE DRIVING. UPDATED 09/13/10
2006 CHEVROLET HHR INSIDE DRIVER'S DOOR HANDLE BROKE OFF. *NJ THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED HE COULD NOT PURCHASE JUST THE DOOR HANDLE, BUT HE WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE THE ENTIRE DOOR PANEL. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DOOR HANDLE WAS MADE OF PLASTIC. *JB

2006 CHEVROLET HHR. CONSUMER WRITES REGARDING ACCELERATOR ISSUE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN HE RELEASED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. HE TURNED THE IGNITION OFF AND PULLED OVER. AFTER RE-STARTING THE VEHICLE, IT SEEMED NORMAL. SEVERAL DAYS LATER, THE INCIDENT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE. *JB
