TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS CONSTANTLY ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE FAILURE OR WHY THE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1801UPDATED 12/06/11*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE PROBLEM WAS FINALLY FIXED UPDATED 03/13/12
WHEN I BOUGHT THIS CAR THE BACK DOORS WHERE A LITTLE HARD TO OPEN I CHALKED IT DOWN TO IT STILL BEING NOT BROKE IN WELL I'VE HAD THIS CAR FOR A YEAR NOW AND THE BACK HANDLES DO NOT WORK AT ALL FROM THE INSIDE SOMETIMES ONE WILL WORK THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE IF THERE IS A ACCIDENT WHO EVER IS SITTING IN THE BACK CANNOT OPEN THE DOORS I REALLY THINK CHEVY NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE BEFORE THEY GET SUED ONLY HOPE NO ONE GETS KILLED / HURT OVER THE BACK DOORS BEING OPENED I'VE HAD IT CHECKED 2 TIMES THEY SAID ITS JUST BECAUSE OF LACK OF USE THAT'S BS CONSIDERING ITS BEEN WELL USED FOR THE YEAR I'VE HAD IT AND NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS COMING ON GREAT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET HHR. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN PULLING TO THE LEFT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 17,000. UPDATED 03/14/12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER TEST DRIVING THE VEHICLE, HE REPORTED TO THE SALESPERSON, THAT THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT AND SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE STEERING. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN FOUND AND CORRECTED. THE DEALER ASKED THE CONSUMER TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE ABOUT 1000 MILES. WHEN THE CONSUMER RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, THEY FOUND THE ALIGNMENT WAS OUT OF SPECIFICATION. THE REPAIR WAS MADE. HOWEVER, THE CONSUMER CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE ALIGNED SEVERAL TIMES. ALSO, THE LEFT FRONT TIRE SENSOR WAS NOT READING THE TIRE PRESSURE AND THERE WAS A NOISE COMING FROM THE GEAR SHIFT OR AXLE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETECT A NOISE. UPDATED 04/10/12
