THIS CAR STALLS WHILE DRIVING, OR STATIONARY. IT HAS STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF TURNING. IT HAS STALLED ON CITY STREETS, MAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, AS WELL AS WAITING AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. WHEN THE CAR STALLS, IT STARTS BACK UP BUT AFTER SOME TIME HAS PASSED. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE CAR IS COOLED DOWN BEFORE IT WILL START AGAIN. PLEASE CORRECT THIS ISSUE FOR US.

2003 CHEVROLET IMPALA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE ENGINE FIRE AFTER OIL SPILLED ONTO ENGINE. CONSUMER STATES RECEIVED ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRES RECALL NOTICE AFTER INCIDENT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED AS A RESULT OF THE FIRE, SHE HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE, BECAUSE HER INSURANCE COMPANY DEEMED THE VEHICLE TOTALED. *JB
SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I GOT MY CAR, IT HAS STOPPED RUNNING WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I HAD THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR REPLACED, THE FUEL PUMP, THE BCM ALSO BUT IT STILL CONTINUES TO SHUT OFF COMPLETELY WHILE I'M ON THE ROAD. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NOT ON THE LAST TIME IT DID IT AND I'VE DONE SEVERAL REPAIRS TO ATTEMPT TO FIX IT. IVE SPENT NEARLY 1000 IN THESE REPAIRS AND STILL NOTHING WORKS. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE MY CAR BUT I HAVE TO WORK. I TAKE CARE OF MY VEHICLES AND I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS A GM ISSUE OR WHAT, BUT I'VE READ MANY COMPLAINTS SOUNDING SIMILAR TO MINE AND I WANT SOMETHING DONE. I WAS ON A VERY BUSY ROAD ON THESE DAYS AND IN COMPLETE MOTION (35 MPH AND ABOVE)
I WAS IN MY CAR MOVING FORWARD ON A STATE HIGHWAY WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING ON WHEN SMOKE STATED TO COME OUT OF THE AIR VENTS. I TURNED OFF THE AIR IMMEDIATELY, WHEN I WENT TO TURN IT BACK ON IT ONLY WORKED ON HIGH SOMETIMES. I TOOK THE CAR TO GET LOOKED AT, WHEN THEY FINISHED THE INSPECTION THEY SAID THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FIRE. THEY SAID THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR, AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL ASSEMBLY WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED, AS WELL AS THE AC RESISTER AND CONTROL HEAD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL.
ISSUES WITH SYSTEM SECURITY SYSTEM AND INTERMITTENT STARTING ISSUES AS NOTED IN THE HUNDREDS OF PREVIOUSLY REPORTS. IS THIS JUST A WASTE OF TIME, PROVIDING THIS INFORMATION TO NHTSA? OR IS SOMEONE GOING TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND HAVE GM FIX THIS PROBLEM?
FOUND A GASOLINE LEAK AT THE QUICK CONNECT FITTING WHERE THE FUEL LINE MEETS THE FUEL RAIL ON TOP REAR OF ENGINE. I BELIEVE ITS THE FUEL RETURN LINE. THE QUICK CONNECT FITTING IS LEAKING FUEL DOWN ONTO ENGINE AND COULD DRIP ONTO HOT EXHAUST MANIFOLD CAUSING A FIRE. CAR WAS STATIONARY WHEN I NOTICED THE LEAK. I SMELLED GAS FIRST THEN TRACED THE SMELL TO THE LEAKING QUICK CONNECT FITTING. THIS MAY BE RELATED TO THE RECENT GM RECALL OF VALVE COVERS LEAKING OIL CAUSING THE FIRES.

MY VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE WHILE SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I THINK THIS MIGHT RELATE TO RECALL 15757. THE CAR WAS TOTALLED.
I FIRST STARTED HAVING THIS PROBLEM IN OCTOBER 2015. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN JULY 2015. I TRUSTED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I SEEN THEY HAD GREAT REVIEWS. I ACTUALLY TRADER MY PREVIOUS CAR IN BECAUSE IT WAS HAVING PROBLEMS STARTING AND ALSO SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING. NOW MY CURRENT CAR IS HAVING PROBELMS STARTING. I HAD MY BATTERY, ALTERNATOR & STARTER CHECKED, AND IT WAS GOOD. THE COMPANY I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM PROVIDED WARRANTY COVERAGE ON THE VEHICLE. I TOOK THE CAR TO GET SERVICED IN THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER FOR AN ENGINE MOUNT REPLACEMENT. THEY REPLACED MY ENGINE MOUNTS AND FUEL PUMP. 2 DAYS AFTER THAT SERVICE I STARTED HAVING ISSUES STARTING THE CAR. WHEN YOU PUT THE KEY IN YOU USUALLY HEAR BEEPING NOISE AND I DIDN'T. THAN MY BATTERY LIGHT, ABS LIGHT, TRAC OFF LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON AND IN THE MESSAGE CENTER TRACKING SYSTEM LIGHT CAME UP. THIS WAS VERY INCONVENIENT DUE TO THE WEATHER AND HAVING TO GET 2 TODDLERS READY FOR SCHOOL IN THE AM. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY MECHANIC AND HE REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH. I DIDN'T TAKE IT BACK TO THE SAME PLACE BECAUSE EVERYTIME YOU TAKE IT FOR SERVICE MY DEDUCTIBLE IS $100. AFTER 2 WEEKS AFTER REPLACING THE IGNITION SWITCH THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. SO I CALLED MY WARRANTY SERVICE CENTER THEY SAID TO BRING IT BACK BUT IF IT NEEDS FIXING I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. (ALSO I AM PAYING A CAR NOTE OF $115 A WEEK). I REFUSE TO KEEP PAYING MONEY FOR THIS PROBLEM. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS IN SO MANY WAYS. IT'S VERY FUSTRATING BECAUSE I TRADER MY PREVIOUS CAR (2000 BUICK REGAL) IN FOR THE SAME REASON. I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S A WIRING ISSUE, SENSOR ISSUE OR MAYBE WHEN THEY CHANGED MY ENGINE MOUNTS OR FUEL PUMP SOMETHING GOT DISCONNECTED. THIS PROBLEM DIDN'T START UNTIL THEY DID SERVICE ON MY VEHICLE. PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP ON WHAT TO DO. LITTLE MINOR ISSUES I DON'T MIND KEEPING UP WITH BUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
CAR HESITATES AND JERKS WHEN APPLYING GAS AND STARTING TO MOVE FROM A DEAD STOP. EXAMPLE: FROM A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN.

DEFECTIVE IGNITION SWITCH CAUSED CRUISE CONTROL TO MALFUNCTION.
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AT B&B AUTOMOTIVE ON JULY 6TH, 2015. THIS VEHICLE HAD 43,850 MILES ON IT. I TEST DRIVED THE VEHICLE, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. ON JULY 17TH I REALIZED WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN "THE MESSAGE CENTER" SECURITY CAME UP. I IGNORED IT BECAUSE THE CAR WAS STILL DRIVING PERFECTLY. THAN A WEEK LATER IT CAME UP AGAIN WHILE I WAS DRIVING BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. I CALLED B&B AND NOTIFIED THEM OF THE ISSUE AND THEY TOLD ME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE MY CAR IS UNDER A AVP WARRANTY. 2 DAYS LATER I TRIED TO START MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T START AT ALL! NOT EVEN CRANK. I TRIED 3 TIMES AND IT STILL WOULD NOT START. BECAUSE I WAS JUST GETTING OFF AT 11:45PM NO ONE WAS ABLE TO COME OUT AND HELP ME FROM B&B. I TOOK THE KEY OUT FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND TRIED TO START IT UP AGAIN AND IT STARTED. 2 WEEKS LATER ON MY WAY TO WORK I TRIED TO START MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T. I HEARD A CLICKING SOUND THIS TIME BUT IT WOULDN'T START. I CALLED B&B THEY SAID TO BRING IT IN OR GET IT TOWED, I EXPLIANED TO THEM I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK. I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND GAVE IT GAS AND IT WORKED. NOW I HAVE TO GIVE IT GAS IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK. I CALLED B&B AND NOTIFIED THEM BECAUSE I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD THE CAR FOR A MONTH AND THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. I TOLD THEM I CALLED IN AND REPORTED THIS ISSUE 3 TIMES THEY SAID IT'S BEEN OVER 30 DAYS SO IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THAT IS NOT FAIR! I TRUSTED THEM IN TRADING MY CAR IN FOR THIS VEHICLE. I WORK FULL-TIME WITH 2 CHILDREN UNDER 4 AND THIS IS NOT SAFE. I SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE THIS SEEMS LIKE AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE OR BAD WIRING.????

THEN I TOOK IT TO INTEGRITY AUTO TO SEE IF THEY COULD INSPECT IT BUT THEY COULD NOT BECAUSE THE BOTTOM WAS RUSTED OUT THEN I TOOK IT TO TWO MORE MECHANICS WHO ALSO TOOK ME IT WAS WORTH IT BECAUSE ITS ALL ROTTED THE INTAKE GASKET WENT THE CO2 SENSOR WENT AND THE WATER PUMP WENT AND THE PANELS ARE ALL ROTTED... IT WAS A CAR THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SOLD AND I ENDED UP PAYING OVER $1,000 DOLLARS FOR IT... NOW I'M OUT OF A CAR I RELY ON FOR WORK... *TR
