A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH THIS CAR!!! FIRST OFF, THE LATEST RECALL DONE IN 2014 WITH THE BRAKE LIGHTS NOT ILLUMINATING WHEN PEDAL PRESSED BUT DID WHEN PEDAL WASN'T DEPRESSED.AFTER CALLING AND GOING TO MULTIPLE GM DEALERS, I HAD TO RESEARCH HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND TELL THE GM DEALER HOW! THE ISSUE IS STARTING TO ACT UP AGAIN NOW. STARTS OFF WITH THE GEAR SHIFT BEING NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO PULL OUT OF PARK AND THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTING UP.WOW, NOW A RECALL? SECOND. THE SEERING WHEEL HAS ON 2 OCCASIONS JERKED VIOLENTLY TO ONE SIDE THEN BACK AND FORTH ON IT'S OWN...WHILE DRIVING! ALMOST AS IF THE VEHICLE LOOSES ALL POWER/DASH LIGHTS COME ON IT THEN JERKS AND MAKES A WEIRD NOSE BEFORE IT FLIPS UPSIDE DOWN AND LOCKS UP! MY 15 YEAR OLD NIECE (WHO HAS HAD HER PERMIT 3 MONTHS) WAS DRIVING ONE OF THE TIMES! THIRD - THE AIRBAG LIGHT RANDOMLY COMES ON / GOES OFF WHEN SOMEONE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. I THINK I' SHOULD GET ALL MY $ BACK FROM THE TIMES I TOOK MY CAR IN TO FIND OUT "WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS" AND HAD FIXED (TEMPORARILY APPARENTLY) AND NOW RECALLS ARE COMING! HONESTLY - THERE ARE ENOUGH THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT WHILE DRIVING (DRUNKS, BAD DRIVERS, BLOW OUTS ETC.) IT'S UNSETTLING TO HAVE "KNOWN" ISSUES WITH YOUR VEHICLE BUT THESE COMPANIES WILL NOT FIX! *TR
THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER I FIRST START DRIVING. THE DRIVER INFO CENTER SAYS POWER STEERING AND SOMETIMES IT GETS HARD TO TURN BUT THEN COMES BACK AFTER A FEW SECONDS AND IS FINE UNTIL I PARK AND RETURN TO VEHICLE TO GO HOME OR WORK. *JB
THE BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT PRESSING BRAKE PEDAL. WHEN BRAKE PEDAL IS PRESSED, BRAKE LIGHTS GO OFF. FIRST NOTICED THIS BECAUSE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT SET. TOOK IT IN FOR REPAIRS AT LOCAL DEALERSHIP. THEY FOUND THE STOPLAMP SWITCH TO BE FAULTY AND REPLACED. THREE DAYS LATER, BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON AGAIN WITHOUT PRESSING BRAKE PEDAL. TOOK IT IN AGAIN. THIS TIME THEY FOUND A BULLETIN ON PROBLEM AND APPLIED DIELECTRIC GREASE TO THE BCM CONNECTORS. WITHIN A MONTH, THE PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN INTERMITTENTLY, BUT DID NOT TAKE IN. SINCE MAY 2014, BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS ON WHILE DRIVING EVEN THOUGH BRAKE PEDAL NOT PRESSED. LOOKED UP SIMILAR PROBLEMS ON SAFERCAR.GOV AND FOUND RECALL NOTICE ON VEHICLE. CALLED GM, GAVE THEM MY VIN AND GM RECALL NUMBER (13036) AND THEY SAID THAT MY VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY DOCUMENTED PROBLEMS IN MY SERVICE HISTORY AND I SHOULD GO TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP TO HAVE ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTIC TEST DONE. WENT BACK TO DEALERSHIP AND SHOWED THEM PRINTED COPY OF RECALL FROM SAFERCAR.GOV AND RELAYED CONVERSATION WITH GM. DEALERSHIP STATED, AFTER AN AFTERNOON WITH CAR, THAT RECALL NUMBER DID NOT EXIST AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY ACTIVE RECALLS FOR MY CAR. I ASKED ABOUT THE SERVICE RECORD AND HOW COME THE 2012 SERVICES WERE NOT INCLUDED, THEY SAID THAT IT WAS ONLY ELECTRICAL AND NOT REALLY SIGNIFICANT SO THEY DID NOT TO DOCUMENT IT. THEY ALSO STATED THAT BECAUSE SAFERCAR.GOV IS NOT GM, THEY COULD NOT BELIEVE ITS RELIABILITY. AFTER A LONG CONVERSATION, I ASKED IF THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE MALIBUS IN GENERAL, THEY SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW UNLESS THEY HAD SPECIFIC VIN. DEALERSHIP APPLIED DIELECTRIC GREASE TO BCM CONNECTORS. FRUSTRATED AT NOT GETTING ANSWER, DID OWN RESEARCH AND FOUND RECALL NUMBERS (103652, 103653, 103654) AND A SERVICE BULLETIN (SB-08-05-22-009A) ON THE PROBLEM WITHIN 30 MINUTES. *TR
POWER STEERING COMPLETLEY WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING! I RAN UP ON THE CURB ALMOST HITTING ANOTHER CAR COMING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY! *TT

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL LEVEL SYSTEM FAILED TO REGISTER ACCURATE FUEL LEVELS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS ADVISED TO THE CONTACT THAT THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED NOR WAS THE MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE EMITTED A POPPING SOUND WHEN TURNING. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN SHOOK WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING BETWEEN 50 AND 60 MPH. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, BUT WAS NOT GIVEN A REASON FOR THE SHAKING. THE BALL JOINTS, BEARINGS, AND CONTROL ARMS WERE REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 132,042.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME ABNORMALLY LOOSE. THE FAILURE CAUSED TURNS TO BE COMPLETELY ABNORMALLY WIDE. IN ADDITION, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC AND LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE POWER STEERING PUMP. THE DEALER REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED LATER AS THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 55 MPH. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF MOMENTARILY AND ONCE RESTARTED, THE POWER STEERING FUNCTION HAD RETURNED TO NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WERE 130,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50-60 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SEIZE WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS WHEN THE CONTACT WOULD SUDDENLY ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE RELEASED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD RESET INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED BY A DEALER NOR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE MANUFACTURER'S RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 56,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I OWN A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU LT, PURCHASED NEW FROM A DEALERSHIP IN SYLVANIA OHIO IN SEPTEMBER OF 2007. SOME TIME IN 2012, THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT BEGAN COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY, BUT WAS NOT CONSISTENTLY A PROBLEM. LATER, THE LIGHT INDICATING IF A PASSENGER WAS PRESENT WOULD EITHER NOT TURN ON WHEN A PASSENGER WAS PRESENT, OR REMAIN ON AFTER A PASSENGER HAD EXITED THE VEHICLE; THIS, TOO, WAS AN INCONSISTENT PROBLEM. UPON VEHICLE INSPECTION BY THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD THAT THE PASSENGER PRESENCE SENOR WAS "MALFUNCTIONING", WHICH INDICATES THAT THE AIR BAG SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN ASKED WHAT MIGHT CAUSE THIS ISSUE, I WAS TOLD THAT "IT JUST HAPPENS SOMETIMES", WHICH SUGGESTS TO ME THERE MAY BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WITH THE PART. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE STEERING ASSIST FAILURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE ONTO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN ORDER TO RESTART IT AND IT FUNCTIONED AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHO STATED THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000. UPDATED 3/13/15*CN THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. UPDATED 03/17/15
AT APPROXIMATELY 79K MILES THE FUEL GAUGE STARTED TO GO TO MINIMUM LEVEL, WITH THE FUEL LEVEL WARNING LIGHT, AND THEN BACK TO THE ACTUAL LEVEL. ONCE IT STARTED HAPPENING IT INCREASED IN FREQUENCY, BUT WITH NO REAL PATTERN. AFTER 3 OR 4 OCCURRENCES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, CODE P0463 "FUEL LEVEL SENSOR A CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT". SINCE THEN EVERY TIME I CLEAR IT COMES BACK ON WITH THE FIRST OCCURRENCE. AS AN INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN, AND AN ELECTRICIAN, THIS TELLS ME THERE IS A HIGHER THAN EXPECTED CURRENT, THAT COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A SPARK OR A FIRE, IN A DEVICE THAT IS CONNECTED TO THE FUEL TANK. THE FACT THAT THERE IS NOT ALREADY A RECALL TELLS ME THAT NO ONE HAS DIED... YET. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT HEARD A CLUNKING NOISE COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE STEERING SHAFT WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
ON MY 2007 CHEVY MALIBU, THE CRUISE CONTROL WILL SHUT OFF BY ITSELF GOING DOWN THE ROAD, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WORK BACKWARDS BY STEP ON BRAKE THEY ARE OFF, FOOT OFF BRAKE THE LIGHTS ARE ON. THE STEERING WHEEL WILL LOCK UP AND HAVE TO SHUT CAR OFF AND RESTART TO GET IT TO UNLOCK AND IDLING THE CAR THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IT SHAKES ALSO. THE PART OF THE FUEL PUMP THAT CONTROLS THE GAS GAUGE NO LONGER WORKS. I HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY DON'T KNOW OF ANY RECALLS AS OF YET. BUT I HAVE RESEARCHED AND HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE COMMON PROBLEMS, SO WHY AREN'T THERE ANY RECALLS? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE ENGINE RPM GAUGE STARTED TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY IN AN ERRATIC MANNER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED AN ELECTRIC FLUCTUATION IN THE SPEED THAT CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER SYSTEM WAS RESTARTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000.

IN ADDITION, A LOUD AND ABNORMAL NOISE WAS HEARD FROM THE ENGINE AS THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE WHO ADVISED HAVING A DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000.
AS I PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY, I SHIFTED MY CAR IN PARK AND WHEN I RELEASED OFF OF THE BRAKE THE VEHICLE STARTED TO MOVE BACKWARDS.I SHIFTED BACK INTO DRIVE, THEN PARK AND IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. ONCE MORE I SHIFTED TO DRIVE THEN PARK AND IT STAYED IN DRIVE. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE HAD SNAPPED. *TR

MY STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO MOVE SLIGHTLY LEFT AND RIGHT ON ITS OWN. IT ALSO HAD A LOOSE AND WOBBLY FEELING TO IT. TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND HE FIXED THE PROBLEM. MY SECOND INCIDENT OCCURRED ON 1/2/2015. MY STEERING COMPLETELY WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN AND THE CONTROL MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V064000 (STEERING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
COMPLETE FAILURE OF THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM LEAVING THE 5 YEAR OLD VEHICLE COMPLETELY INOPERABLE. AFTER STOPPING AND PARKING FOR 5 MINS THE CAR WAS RESTARTED AND THE POWER STEERING WAS COMPLETELY GONE WITH NO PRIOR SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS OF PENDING FAILURE. VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVE-ABLE AND HAD TO BE TOWED. *TR
2007 CHEVY MALIBU STARTED HAVING POWER STEERING ISSUES. WHILE DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING LOT MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND BEGAN FLASHING ON MY DISPLAY SCREEN. I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR OFF, WHEN RESTARTED THE POWER STEERING WORKED AGAIN. IT WAS FINE FOR AWHILE AND THEN OUT OF NO WHERE THE POWER STEERING WOULD JUST GO OUT. IT HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THEN THE POWER STEERING BEGAN FLASHING AND BEEPING ON MY DISPLAY SCREEN BUT THE POWER STEERING WAS WORKING JUST FINE. NOW IT IS BEGINNING TO GO OUT WHILE DRIVING AGAIN. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND I AM NOT SURE WHY EVERY OTHER MODEL WITH THIS PROBLEM IS BEING RECALLED AND THIS ONE IS NOT. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY MALIBU WHEN SUDDENLY THE STEERING BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE. I MANAGED TO PULLED THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN. I PULLED OUT MY MANUAL FOR THE 2007 CAR AND I WAS DIRECTED TO THE KIND OF POWER STEERING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INSTALLED IN MY CAR. THE MANUAL INDICATES THAT THE 2007 MANUAL FOR MY CHEVROLET MALIBU LTZ WITH A V6 ENGINES SHOULD HAVE A HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM IN PLACE. IT ALSO SHOWS BY ILLUSTRATION THE POSITION OF THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR. I TOOK THE CAR TO A CHEVROLET DEALER IN ARLINGTON, MA. AND THE MECHANIC SAID THIS CAR HAS NO POWER STEERING RESERVOIR. I SHOWED HIM THE MANUAL AND HE SAID THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG HERE. CALL GM CUSTOMER CARE AND MAYBE THEY CAN RESOLVE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY WROTE THE MANUAL. *TR
I PURCHASED MY CAR FROM A USED CAR LOT ON JULY OF 2011. AS OF FEBRUARY OF 2012 THE FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING (ALWAYS SAYS GAS TANK IS ON EMPTY). WHEN I FILL UP MY TANK IT WILL READ 'FULL' FOR A FEW HOURS, THEN IT WILL EVENTUALLY DROP ALL THE WAY TO 'EMPTY' AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND HE SUGGESTED THAT I REPLACE THE FUEL TANK. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF MY PROBLEM IS RELATED TO THE RECALL DATED FEBRUARY 28, 2011. *TR
WHILE MAKING A TURN AND ACCELERATING IN MY 2007 MALIBU, THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND THE CAR CONTINUED TO GO STRAIGHT, ALMOST CAUSING ME TO GO UP THE CURB. AFTER LETTING OFF THE GAS, THE STEERING CAME BACK AND I WAS ABLE TO GAIN CONTROL. DURING THIS TIME, THE DASH DISPLAYED "POWER STEERING" AND MADE A CHIME. *TR

THE CONTACT TRIED USING FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER, BUT IT DID NOT REMEDY THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED BY THE DEALER OR A MECHANIC. DRIVERS SEAT BELT UNSPOOLS COMPLETELY WHEN DRIVING AND STAYS THAT WAY. DEALER QUOTES JUST UNDER $400 TO REPAIR. HAVE IT REPAIRED AND TWO MONTHS LATER DOES THE SAME THING WHILE STANDING STILL AND PULLING OUT SEAT TO BUCKLE.. AUTO IS NOW UNSAFE TO DRIVE WITHOUT WORKING SEATBELT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE SERVICE AIR BAG WARNING WAS DISPLAYED ACROSS THE MESSAGE BOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,044.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING AND STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE FUEL LEVEL GAUGE WOULD NOT MOVE AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE SENDING UNIT HAD FALLEN INTO THE FUEL TANK AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR THE SENDING UNIT. MY 2007 CHEVY MALIBU FUEL GAUGE GOES TO EMPTY AFTER A FILL UP AND THEN IT WILL GO TO FULL AND THEN BACK DOWN TO OUT OF FUEL CAUSING THE ENGINE CHECK LITE TO COME ON - AT FIRST THE LITE WOULD GO OUT WHEN I HAD LESS THEN A 1/4 OF A TANK OF FUEL - NOW IT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME. WHILE PULLING OUT OF A PARKING LOT I FELT MY DRIVER SEAT DROP AND MADE A NOISE. MY SEAT WAS NOT IN SAME POSITION AND WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO RESET THE POSITION I NOTICED THAT THE ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF MY SEAT WAS NOT SECURE ANY LONGER TO THE FRAME AND WHEN SHIFTING WEIGHT OR TURNING THE VEHICLE THE SEAT WOULD FORCE ME TO THE RIGHT SIDE. I AM THE ONLY DRIVER, BACK & FORTH TO WORK, 43400 MILES, RIDICULOUS AND DANGEROUS TO HAVE THIS HAPPEN NOT TO MENTION VERY COSTLY (APPROX 1100.00). I HAVE NOTIFIED GM AND ASKED FOR FOLLOW UP ON THIS, SO FAR NOTHING. THIS IS DEFINITELY A STRUCTURAL FAILURE OF SOME KIND THAT GM NEEDS TO RESOLVE. *KB

THIS 2007 MALIBU WILL JUST DIE ON YOU AT A STOP LIGHT AND SOMETIMES WHEN YOU ARE BACKING UP. THE FUEL GAUGE HAS NOT BEEN WORKING FOR A LONG TIME A LITTLE OVER A YEAR. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS UNSAFE FOR MY SMALL CHILDREN TO BE DRIVING AROUND IN BECAUSE I CA BE STUCK SOMETHING COULD HAPPEN WIT A FUEL LINE AND A FIRE CAN BE CAUSED I WOULD REALLY LIKE A NOTICE ON THE RECALL SO I CAN BE REIMBURSED FOR MY TROUBLES AND MONEY TO HAVE THIS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 35,000.
