TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AND STARTED FLASHING RAPIDLY. THE ENGINE POWER ALSO DECREASED AND THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY DECELERATED TO 20 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000. *TR
INTERMITTENT PROBLEM, OCCURRING AT LEAST FIVE TIMES SINCE DATE ABOVE. ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS NOTED: 1. CRUISE CONTROL FAILS TO ENGAGE, OR STOPS ENGAGING. INDICATOR LIGHT ON (/OFF WHEEL TOGGLE SWITCH), BUT NO ENGAGE. 2. "SERVICE ESC" AND ALTERNATING "TRACTION CONTROL" WARNING WITH ALARM TONE ON SPEEDO CLUSTER. ORANGE WARNING TRIANGLE ILLUMINATED, ALSO. 3. BRAKE LIGHTS CONSTANT ON, WITH NO FOOT ON BRAKE PEDAL. OR, BRAKE LIGHTS CAN GO OFF WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED. CONFUSING, POSSIBLY DANGEROUS, TO DRIVERS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING. ONCE AWARE OF THIS, FASHIONED A REFLECTOR FITTING JUST BEHIND THE REAR TOP MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT THAT REFLECTS INTO MY REAR-VIEW MIRROR. THESE PROBLEMS CAN CLEAR AFTER CAR IS STOPPED FOR A TIME (OVER 45 MINUTES) AND MAY NOT APPEAR AGAIN FOR ANOTHER UNKNOWN INTERVAL. ALREADY REPLACED (MARCH 31, 2014) A BRAKE POSITION SENSOR SWITCH ($186.60 - MY COST) AT LOCAL SELLING CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP. THIS DID NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND WHEN ASKED, DEALER CLAIMED NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY TSBS OR OF OTHERS HAVING ISSUES SIMILAR. *TR
IN DECEMBER OF LAST YEAR AND JANUARY OF THIS YEAR I HAD SPORADIC PROBLEMS WITH THE POWER STEERING UNIT IN MY VEHICLE. MY VEHICLE IS A 2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU. IN PARTICULAR, I HAD DIFFICULTY STARTING THE VEHICLE AND MANEUVERING THE VEHICLE WHETHER IT WAS IN PARK OR DRIVE. ONCE I STARTED THE VEHICLE I WOULD GET A FLASH MESSAGE ON THE DASHBOARD TELLING ME TO CHECK THE POWER STEERING AND I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE AND/OR TURN THE WHEEL ON THE VEHICLE. THIS HAPPENED ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS. I HAD THE PROBLEM FIXED. THE WORK THAT WAS PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE, INCLUDED REPLACING THE ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN DUE TO A BAD TORQUE SENSOR. I PAID FOR THE REPAIR AND AM SEEKING A REIMBURSEMENT GIVEN THE FACT THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE BEING COMPENSATED FOR SIMILAR PROBLEMS. I UNDERSTAND THE 2009 VEHICLE IS RECOGNIZED AS BEING AFFECTED, BUT NOT THE 2010. *TR
I WAS DRIVING 60MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AS I WAS EXITING THE HIGHWAY I CAME TO A REDLIGHT AND MADE A COMPLETE STOP. AS I WAS READY TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL STIFFENED, POWER STEERING MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON MY DASH AND THEN THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT TURN WITHOUT MAKING A STRONG EFFORT WITH MY TWO HANDS TO TURN IT. THERE WAS A LINE OF CARS BEHIND ME. I CHECKED ONLINE AND THIS WEBSITE AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE WITH MY MODEL AND YEAR VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING A TURN, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE WARNING INDICATOR. THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,440 .
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT SHUT THE ENGINE OFF MOMENTARILY HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED ONCE RESTARTED. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUNROOF WOULD LEAK WHENEVER IT RAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000.
ON THIS DATE I WAS ATTEMPTING TO DEPART ON VACATION. I GOT IN MY CAR WHICH WAS PARKED IN MY GARAGE AND THE ENGINE WOULD NOT CRANK. IT WAS IN PARK. I INSTRUCTED MY WIFE TO CALL AAA. WHILE SHE WAS GONE I OPENED THE DOOR TO TRY AGAIN AND THE CAR STARTED TO ROLL DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. FOOLISHLY I GOT BEHIND THE CAR TO STOP IT AND GOT SANDWICHED BETWEEN MY CAR AND THE NEIGHBORS. I BROKE BOTH MY LEGS, HAD SURGERY AND WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR A MONTH AND AM HAVING THERAPY AND CANNOT WALK OR WORK. I REPORTED THIS TO GM IN LIVONIA MICHIGAN AS INSTRUCTED BY MY DEALERSHIP AND HAVE HEARD NOTHING. SINCE THEN TWICE THE CAR HAS BEEN IN PARK WITH THE ENGINE OFF AND HAS STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARD. SINCE I CANNOT WORK AND COULD NOT PAY MY BILLS I HAVE HAD TO FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY. I HAD THE CAR CHECKED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT WAS FINE. *JS
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, MY CAR LOST POWER. SEVERAL VEHICLES ALMOST STRUCK ME ON HIGHWAY, VERY VERY, SCARY EXPERIENCE. . DURING DRIVING, FOLLOWING MESSAGES APPEARED: 1)ENG PWR REDUCED 2)SERVICE ESC 3)SERVICE TRACTION 4)ESC OFF 5) SERVICE AIRBAG. I ALSO NOTICED THE CAR SHUDDERED EXTREMELY BAD. THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED WHILE I WAS NOT COMPRESSING THE BRAKE, AND I HAD NO ACCELERATION. AFTER PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE BRAKE LIGHTS TURNED OFF. THE RPM JUMPED BETWEEN 3000-4000. AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF AND LETTING IT SIT FOR APPROX 5 MIN. THE WARNING MESSAGES DISAPPEARED, HOWEVER SES LIGHT REMAINED. 2 CODES PRESENTED TODAY. 1)C0242 2)P2135. WILL BE CONTACTING CUSTOMER CARE, AND TAKING CAR TO DEALER TOMORROW. CPO 2010 CHEVY MALIBU @59K NO KNOWN ISSUES PRIOR TO EXPLANATIONS ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR NEW TIRES AND HAD A MECH CHECK A CLICKING NOISE THAT I NOTICED WHEN I WOULD PLACE THE CAR IN DRIVE AND BEGIN TO MOVE. HE STATED THAT THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM WHERE MY CV ENTERS THE TRANSMISSIONS AND BELIEVES THERE IS PLAY WITHIN A GEAR SOMEWHERE INTERNALLY. I CALLED THE CHEVY DEALER AND AM DUE TO BRING IN THE VEHICLE TOMORROW.... NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR ON THE HIGHWAY LAST NIGHT THIS RANDOM ISSUE. THE FOLLOWING WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON: ENGINE LIGHT TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT FOLLOWED BY THE FOLLOWING WARNING MESSAGES: ENG PWR REDUCED SERVICE ESC SERVICE TRACTION ESC OFF THE CAR BEGAN TO SHUDDER AS IF IT WANTED TO DIE. ALONG WITH THIS, I HAD NO ACCELERATION AND THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS WHEN THIS HAPPENED I WAS EXITING A TUNNEL ONTO A BRIDGE. AFTER PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED IT. ALL THE LIGHTS CONTINUED TO SHOW, AND THE RPMS JUMPED AS SEEN IN THE ATTACHED VIDEO. [XXX] I AGAIN SHUT THE CAR OFF AND WAITED ABOUT 5 MIN. AFTER TURNING THE CAR BACK ON, THE ONLY LIGHT THAT REMAINED ON WAS THE ENGINE LIGHT. I GATHERED THESE CODES THIS MORNING. C0242 P2135 -TPS THIS IS THE SECOND CAR IN 2 YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT FROM THIS DEALER, HERB CHAMBERS OF DANVERS, AND THIS IS THE SECOND CAR TO HAVE A TRANSMISSION ISSUE, ON TOP OF WHATEVER ELSE ITS DOING. I STILL OWE WELL OVER $10,000 ON THIS CAR. I HAVE NOT EVEN HAD THIS CAR 9 MONTHS. I CAN TELL YOU I AM A GROWN MAN IN TEARS BECAUSE I WORK 44 HRS A WEEK IN A CAREER I SPENT ALOT OF MONEY TRAINING FOR AND NOW AM HAVING MASSIVE ISSUES. APPROACHING 4-WAY STOP SIGN AND CAR BEGAN TO JERK/COULD NOT ACCELERATE AND SERVICE TRACTION/ ESC LIGHT CAME ON...HAD ENOUGH POWER TO ROLL INTO A PARKING LOT AND SHUT THE CAR OFF..RESTARTED THE CAR AND IT STOPPED DOING THIS. I WAS ABLE TO CONTACT A CHEVROLET DEALER (I WAS ON A 6 HOUR TRIP AND THIS HAPPENED 2 HOURS INTO MY TRIP:-( I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR ABOUT 8 MILES TO THE DEALER. HAD TO HAVE A PART CALLED ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY. I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE WITH THE BRAKE LIGHTS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY...BEING SERVICED NOW. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE 115,982. UPDATED 06/10/14
WHILE DRIVING SUDDENLY THE CAR JERKED (LIKE A TRANSMISSION ERROR) AND THEN THE MESSAGE ON THE DISPLAY WOULD SHOW "SERVICE ESC" AND "TRACTION OFF". I BROUGHT THE CAR IN FIRST TO RUN AN ELECTRICAL TEST, WHERE THEY REPROGRAMMED A SENSOR (COST=$158.95). A FEW DAYS LATER THE VERY SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AND AT THIS TIME WHEN I CAME TO A STOP SIGN I WENT TO ACCELERATE AND MY CAR HAD SHUT ITSELF OFF. I THEN BROUGHT IT IN WHERE THE FOUND CODES REGARDING THE MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR PROBLEMS. THE SERVICE PLACE THEN MONITORED BOTH THE COMPUTER DATA FOR THE MAP SENSOR AND THE ACTUAL SENSOR DATA DURING TEST DRIVE AND FOUND THAT WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS THE COMPUTER DATA DROPS OUT BUT THE SENSOR DATA REMAINS THE SAME, THEY SUGGESTED THAT IT COULD BE A POSSIBLE WIRING PROBLEM, AND I AGREED TO HAVE THEM REPLACE THE SENSOR.(COST+$275.15). NOTHING HAPPENED UNTIL A FEW WEEKS LATER AND THE VERY SAME ISSUE OCCURRED. MY HUSBAND PLAYED AROUND WITH SOME WIRES AND HAD NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A POSSIBLE WAY THAT CONDENSATE COULD GET INTO WHERE THE SENSORS WERE AND SO HE FIXED THAT ISSUE. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS ISSUE SINCE THEN. JUST WANTING TO SEE IF THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM AND TO GET A PROPER FIX. *TR

NOV 2, 2013, SECURITY LIGHT COMES ON AT START, WON'T TURN OFF EVEN AFTER TURNING OFF, RESTARTING. LIGHT STAYS ON APPROX. 1 HR., TURNS OFF AFTER NEXT RESTART. NOV. 10, 2013, HEAR "DING" - DRIVING IN STOP & GO TRAFFIC JUST BEFORE SUNDOWN. ALL LIGHTS ON DASH TURN OFF, INCLUDING RADIO. TURN CAR OFF & RESTART. NO DASH LIGHTS, NO RADIO. TURN DASH LIGHT KNOB "OFF" & THEN "ON". LIGHTS RESET. NOV 28, 2013, DRIVING APPROX. 65 MPH ON INTERSTATE. ENGINE "CHOKES" FOR SPLIT SECOND, BUT DOES NOT SHUT OFF. LESS POWERFUL "CHOKES" NEXT 30-45 MINS. SIMILAR SPORADIC EPISODES CONTINUE -- LAST ONE MARCH 1, 2014. INITIALLY THOUGHT PROBLEM WAS BAD GAS/CONTAMINATED FUEL. CHANGED TO MAJOR OIL COMPANIES FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER. HASN'T SOLVED THE PROBLEM. HAVE NOTIFIED THE DEALER. THIS IS THE SECOND MAJOR ELECTRICAL PROBLEM ON THE CAR. IN APRIL & MAY 2013, POWER STEERING SHUT-OFF, AND VARIOUS DASH LIGHTS/DOOR LOCKS ACTIVATED. DEALER FINALLY INSTALLED ENTIRELY NEW FUSE PANEL, AND THOSE PROBLEMS HAVEN'T OCCURRED AGAIN. *TR
1. THE SERVICE LIGHT COMES ON INDICATING SERVICE TRACTION AND/OR ESC. IT STAYS ON UNTIL THE ENGINE IS TURNED OFF AND MAY STAY OFF FOR SOME MILES OR SOME DAYS. THEN IT COMES ON AGAIN WHILE DRIVING OR STANDING AT A RED LIGHT. NOW IT COMES ON EVERY DAY. I TOOK IT IN SEVERAL TIMES, BUT IT NEVER STAYS ON, THEREFORE THE SERVICE DEALER DOESN'T FIND AN ISSUE. I HAVE PAID FOR PARTS TO BE REPLACED, BUT IT HAS NOT FIXED THE ISSUE. 2. SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF SIMILAR TO THE SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT. I HAVE HAD THE AIRBAG FIXED UNDER RECALL PREVIOUSLY AND NOW IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN. WHEN I START THE ENGINE I CAN HEAR A WHISTLING SOUND AS I ASSUME THE AIRBAG DISENGAGES. *TR
THE AIR BAG SERVICE MESSAGE APPEARED IN THE DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER AND THE AIR BAG SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON. IT WENT BACK OFF BEFORE I COULD GET IT TO THE DEALER. NEVERTHELESS I TOOK IT IN TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUGGESTED I KEEP DRIVING IT TO SEE IF THE LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND STAY ON SO THAT THEY COULD GET A CODE TO DIAGNOSE. I ASKED ABOUT THE PREVIOUS RECALL TO SEE IF THE MANUFACTURER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROBLEM. I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR ANY DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIRS SINCE IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THEY DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS HAS BEEN A HISTORICAL PROBLEM FOR THIS MODEL AND THAT THERE ARE STILL ISSUES WITH THE AIR BAGS ON THIS MODEL. SINCE THEN THE AIR BAG SERVICE MESSAGE CONTINUES TO COME ON AND THEN AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME,RANGING FROM A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO A COUPLE OF HOURS, GOES BACK OFF. THERE WAS A RECALL ON AIR BAG CONNECTORS WHICH WE HAD COMPLETED ON 5/25/2011. I AM VERY UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THE AIR BAG SERVICE LIGHT COMES ON WITH NO WARNING AND I DON'T WANT TO BE IN AN ACCIDENT AND NOT HAVE THE AIR BAGS WORK. *TR
NO ACCIDENT YET. BRAKE LIGHT STAYS ON OR DOESN'T COME ON WITHOUT HEAVY PEDAL PRESSURE AND GOES OUT WHEN STILL BRAKING...SOMETIMES DOES NOT COME ON AT ALL...ERRATIC PERFORMANCE OF THE BRAKE LIGHT. *TR
INADVERTENT AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S SIDE IMPACT AND SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THE BRAKE LAMP WOULD ILLUMINATE INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. WHEN THE CONTACT DID DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD FAIL TO ILLUMINATE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
FIRST OCCURRENCE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON FOR ESC OFF, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, SERVICE ESC AT 50 MPH. AT FIRST IT WOULD ONLY COME ON ONCE EVERY COUPLE WEEKS BUT NOW IT COMES ON ALMOST EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT. IT VARIES (SPEED DOESN'T MATTER) WHETHER OR NOT GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY OR STOPPING IN A DRIVEWAY WHEN IT COMES ON BUT WARNING LIGHTS WILL COME ON WHEN YOU TOUCH THE BRAKES. I ALSO OBSERVED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS STAY ON WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD (WHEN ITS DARK OUTSIDE) BUT WHEN YOU APPLY THE BRAKES THE BRAKE LIGHTS GO OFF. I FEEL THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS IF SOMEONE IS FOLLOWING BEHIND YOU AND THINKS THAT YOU HAVE LET OFF THE BRAKES BUT YOU ARE ACTUALLY SLOWING DOWN. I DON'T THINK THAT THEY HAVE AN APPARENT FIX FOR THIS ISSUE AS I SEE SEVERAL REPORTS FROM VEHICLES RANGING FROM 2008 TO 2012 ONLINE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS SAME ISSUE. IT IS INTERMITTENT. WHEN YOU TURN THE CAR OFF AFTER THIS OCCURS THE LIGHTS WILL GO OFF. SOMETIMES ONLY FOR A SHORT PERIOD OTHER TIMES FOR A WEEK WEEKS BEFORE IT COMES ON AGAIN. *TR
BRAKE LIGHTS STAY ON EVEN WHEN PEDAL IS NOT PUSHED. WHEN PEDAL IS PRESSED LIGHTS WILL FLASH OFF, BRAKE LIGHTS BASICALLY WORKING IN REVERSE. I HAVE TO TURN THE CAR OFF FOR THE LIGHTS TO SHUT OFF. ALMOST WAS REAR ENDED THIS MORNING DUE TO BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. *TR

I UNDERSTAND THERE MAY BE A RECALL BUT WHEN I CALLED LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIPS THERE IS NO RECALL ON MY VIN. BASICALLY THE BRAKE LIGHTS WORK IN REVERSE ORDER. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH MANY OF THESE VEHICLES, WHY IS THERE NO RECALL FROM THE GMC TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD WHICH COULD RESULT IS A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. *JS
I WAS DRIVING IN THE FREEWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 60 TO 65MPH. SUDDENLY I GOT A NOTIFICATION THAT THE ENGINE POWER HAS BEEN DECREASED. MY ENGINE WOULDN'T GO PAST 2000 RPM AND MY SPEED DECREASED SIGNIFICANTLY. I PULLED OVER AND AT THAT TIME I GOT ANOTHER NOTIFICATION STATING THAT MY ENGINE IS BEING DISABLED. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED ABOUT 8 TIMES. THIS STOPPED HAPPENING FOR A GOOD YEAR AND A HALF UNTIL THIS PAST WEEK. IT HAPPENED TO MY PREGNANT WIFE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY HIGHWAY AND IT HAPPENED TO ME IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. I PUT A CODE SCANNER TO READ THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND IT DIDN'T READ ANYTHING. WHICH MEANS THE CPU ISN'T READING THE ERROR.

DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE CRUISE STOPPED WORKING. SHORTLY AFTER THAT HAPPENED THE TRACTION CONTROL INDICATOR AND ABS LIGHT CAME ON. A MESSAGE APPEARED TO HAVE THOSE ITEMS SERVICED. COMPLAINED QUITE A FEW TIMES TO THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMING ON AND GOING OFF. FIRST TIME WE TOOK IT IN AT 35K MILES THEY REPLACED THE AIRBAG HARNESS. ABOUT 6 MONTHS PASS AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN, ALONG WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT, CAR RUNS RUFF, SO THEY COME OUT WITH A BROKEN FUEL INJECTION WIRE, A BAD AIRBAG CABLE CONNECTION AND A BILL FOR THE REPAIRS. 8/29/2014 CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT WORKING ON CAR ALONG WITH TRACTION CONTROL AND ABS WARRING LIGHTS GOING OFF. CAR WAS TAKEN TO A GM DEALERSHIP TO BE LOOKED AT WAS TOLD THAT REAR SPEED SENSORS WERE NOT WORKING AND PAID 200 DOLLARS FOR A REPAIR. DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT HOME AND THE SAME PROBLEM STARTED HAPPENING ALONG WITH BRAKE LIGHTS THAT WILL NOT GO OFF. CAR WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THIS TIME THEY FOUND FRAYED WIRE AND FIXED IT FOR NO CHARGE. THIS STILL DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP CHARGED A DX FEE TO TELL ME IT WAS THE BCM. FINALLY A RECALL WAS ISSUED AND WHEN THE PART CAME IN MY CARE WAS TAKEN IN FOR THE RECALL REPAIR AND THIS STILL DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. I AM PAYING FOR A CARE THAT I CANT EVEN DRIVE. THE CRUISE CONTROL IN MY VEHICLE HAS STOPPED WORKING AS OF 8/15/13. ON 8/14/13, THE CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING BUT THEN ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR SO LATER, IT STARTED WORKING AGAIN. THANK GOODNESS I WAS ABLE BOTH TIMES TO COAST ON TO THE SHOULDER ON THE HIGHWAY WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE, BUT WITHOUT TURN SIGNALS, HAZARD LIGHTS, ACCESS TO ON STAR OR THE ABILITY TO HAND SIGNAL AS THE WINDOWS ARE OUT. AFTER BEING ESSENTIALLY POWERLESS, THE CAR DOES TURN BACK ON AFTER IT RESETS THE INTERNAL CLOCK TO 1/1/2009.
