I WAS SOLD A VEHICLE WITH BAD STRUTS ALL AROUND VEHICLE AND HAVE ONLY HAD IT FOR UNDER 40 DAYS. *TR
IT HAVE THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON IN THE DASH SAY SERVICE AIR BAGS AND WITH THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN YOU DRIVE IT LIKE IT WON'T TO LOCK UP
NEITHER FRONT DOOR ELECTRIC LOCKS WILL UNLOCK WHEN CAR IS STOPPED. OPERATOR AND PASSENGER MUST PHYSICALLY TURN AROUND AND UNLOCK THE DOOR TO GET OUT OF CAR. EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL IN THE CAR (SWITCHES, RADIO, GAUGES, LOCKS, WINDOWS) HAS MALFUNCTIONED AT ONE POINT IN TIME, EVEN WHEN THE CAR HAD AS LOW AS 40,000 MILES ON IT, BUT CHEVROLET HAS NEVER TAKEN ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OF IT.
I BOUGHT MY 2011 CHEVY MALIBU IN MARCH OF 2017. ONLY PUT 30K MILES AND IT'S APRIL OF 2020. MY CAR WON'T CRANK UP SOMETIMES OR WHEN I'M IDLE, IT'LL START TO SHAKE AND I HAVEN'T DROVE MY CAR IN A WEEK BUT WHEN I PUT THE KEY IN AND TRY TO TURN IT, NOTHING COMES ON. NO LIGHTS OR ANYTHING
THE ESC LIGHTS, TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS AND ABS LIGHTS ARE ON. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP IN JANUARY AND THEY 'FIXED' IT BY REPLACING THE HUB ASSEMBLY. WORKED OK FOR A MONTH. LIGHTS ARE BACK ON AS WELL AS RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING THE SPEEDOMETER, GAS GAUGE, TEMP GAUGE, AND RPM'S WILL DROP TO 0 THEN BACK TO NORMAL AND THIS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE A WHOLE TRIP. THEN THE NEXT DAY OR FEW DAYS IT WILL BE FINE THEN DO IT AGAIN. ALL THE LIGHTS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY.
WHILE DRIVING THE CHECK TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON DASH AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS UP RED WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT THE BRAKE APPLIED.
SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT KEEPS DISPLAYING NO ACCIDENTS OR DAMAGE AT ALL
I HAVE A 2011 CHEVY MALIBU LTZ WITH 44,589 MILES AND I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY SCREENS READING THAT MY ESC SYSTEM IS BAD AND WILL REDUCE MY ENGINE POWER, I TOOK IT IN TO AIRPORT CHEVROLET IN MEDFORD, OREGON AND THEY PLUGED MY CAR IN AND TOLD ME HE HAS SEEN THIS ISSUE COUNTLESS TIMES, AND HAS SEEN PEOPLE HAVE TO REPLACE THINGS AS SIMPLE AS A SENSOR ALL THE WAY TO IT BEING AN ISSUE IN THE WIRING HARNESS AND PEOPLE WILL BRING THEIR CAR IN AND DO THE SMALL REPAIRS FIRST ( ECONOMICALLY MAKES SENSE) AND IT WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM.. UNTIL THEY FIX THIS HUGE EXPENSIVE ISSUE ALL BECAUSE. CHEVY HAS AN ISSUE WITH A SYSTEM THEY PUT INTO A CAR THAT DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY! I HAVE READ OTHER REVIEWS VERY SIMILAR TO MINE WHERE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HIT IN TRAFFIC . NOW LUCKILY I CAUGHT MINE BEFORE A WRECK. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE ENGINE DISABLED MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
I WAS DRIVING AT 70 MILES PER HOUR, THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED SHAKING AND LOCKED UP, I ALMOST LOSS CONTROL OF THE CAR. THIS IS MY 2ND 2011 MALIBU AND THE OTHER CAR HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT AN ISSUE WITH THE POWER STEERING CONTROL. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY CANNOT BE DRIVEN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL CEASED AND BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE ALMOST CRASHED INTO TWO VEHICLES AND BARELY COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT POWERED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS LEFT AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR TWO DAYS AND LATER WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE CODE C0545 WHICH WAS A STEERING WHEEL TORQUE SENSOR MALFUNCTION, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 90,000.
PER ONLINE REVIEWS FROM RECALLS FOR 2011 MALIBU THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT FLASHED. THIS RECALL WAS NOT SENT TO ME, HOWEVER, MY CAR IS AFFECTED.
I GOT INTO MY CAR AND THE DRIVER SEAT COLLAPSED ON THE BACK-RIGHT SIDE. AFTER INSPECTION, I FOUND THAT THE WELD BROKE, CAUSING MY CAR TO BE EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO DRIVE! I HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE AND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FILED WITH NHTSA FOR THIS ISSUE. WHY ISN'T AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION BEING CONDUCTED REGARDING THIS DEFECT? I FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SAFETY RECALL AND GM SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF THE REPAIRS!
THE ESC TURNS OFF PRETTY MUCH EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE CAR. LAST MONDAY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHEN THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING M. THE THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NO LONGER SHIFT AND THE SOLENOID IS STUCK OPEN WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK. PROMPTING THE DEALERSHIP TO TRY AND SELL ME A WHOLE NEW $5,000 TRANS. WHEN THE CAR ONLY HAS 130,000 MILES ON IT. THE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN RUNNING SLOW ON ACCELERATION BUT HAS NEVER BEEN STUCK IN FIRST GEAR LEAVING ME LEFT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WAITING FOR HELP TO COME GET ME. THE HEADLIGHT BURN OUT LIKE EVERY 6 MONTHS RESULTING IN TAKING OFF THE BUMPER OR PAYING $200 FROM THE DEALERSHIP FOR A $5 BULB. I HAVE NO PICTURES SINCE MY CAR IS AT THE DEALERSHIP WAITING FOR ME TO EITHER GO GET OR PAY FOR THE TRANSMISSION.
MY LOW BEAM LIGHTS KEEP GOING OUT REPEATEDLY. IT STARTS WITH THE PASSENGER LIGHT THEN BOTH AND AFTER A FEW DAYS I HAVE NO LIGHTS. THEY BEEN GOING OUT EVERY 2 MONTHS AND THIS IS THE 4TH TIME I REPLACED THEM. NO SPECIFIC TIME WHEN THEY GO OUT I JUST NOTICE IT WHEN I TURN THE LIGHTS ON. THEY HAVE NOT LASTED LONGER THAN TWO MONTHS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 130,000.
AIR BAG LIGHT CONSTANTLY COMING ON. IN ALL STATE. IN MOTION AND STANDING STILL. .
WITH IN THE LAST 10 TO 12 MONTHS I'VE HAD 5 HEADLIGHTS BURN OUT. ONE THE MODULE HAD MELTED. THE CURRENT LIGHT OUT IS ONCE AGAIN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THAT BURNT OUT JANUARY 24, 2020. SO FAR TO DATE IT'S BEEN 2 ON THE DRIVER SIDE, 3 ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.
FOR OVER A YEAR I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH MY PASSENGERS SIDE LOW BEAM LIGHT GOING OUT. THE ISSUE IS NOT WITH THE LIGHTBULB BUT THE ACTUAL HARNESS AND PIG TAIL. AFTER THREE MECHANICS AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS (THIS IS NOT ANY EASY FIX DUE TO THE BUMPER HAVING TO BE REMOVED EVERY TIME THIS HAPPENS) NOT TO MENTION THE COST OF PARTS AND LABOR, I DECIDED TO DO SOME RESEARCH. IT APPEARS THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF CONSUMERS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE. IT HAS BEEN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS SINCE I HAVE HAD IT REPLACED AND IT HAS BURNT UP AGAIN. I FEEL CHEVROLET SHOULD BE ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
MY 2011 CHEVY MALIBU BURNING OIL I KEEP HAVING ADD OIL TO CAR ON TOP THAT TIMING BELT BROKE CHANCES OUT EXHAUST CAMSHAFT POSSIBLE SENSOR OUT 2-3 TIMES AND CODE REMAIN LATER CHAIN GUIDES BROKE SEEN 2.4L EQUINOX HAD RECALL DUE TO BURNING OIL NOT SURE TIMING CHAIN BRAKE BUT HEARD ALOT COMPLAIN ABOUT CHAIN GUIDES BREAKING ALSO SEAT BACKING KEEP CALLING OFF LATCHES FOR THEM FAIL EVERY TIME CAR JUST GAVE ME ALOT OF PROBLEM CONTROL ARM GOING OUT. CAR WAS MADE CHEAP AND WASN'T MEANT TO LAST. CAR BROKE DOWN TIMING CHAIN SNAPPED.BURNT OIL SMELL WHEN TURN CAR ON COMING THROW AC WHEN ON. 2.4 L ECOTEC MOTOR IS PROBLEM AS WELL POWER TRAIN TRANSMISSION BREAK REVERSE WAVE GEAR MAKING IT A COSTLY REPAIR.

EXTERIOR PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT KEEPS GOING OUT. I HAVE HAD IT REPLACED/REPAIR ABOUT 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. IT MAY GO OUT AT ANYTIME.
LOW-BEAM HEADLAMPS CONTINUALLY BURN OUT OR QUIT WORKING, REQUIRING FREQUENT REPLACEMENT OF HEADLAMP BULBS AND HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY PIECES. REPAIRS ARE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE'S ENTIRE FRONT END MUST BE REMOVED EACH TIME TO ACCESS HEADLAMPS AND RELATED WIRING. ONE OR BOTH HEADLAMPS HAVE GONE OUT AT LEAST FOUR TIMES IN THE PAST 18 MONTHS.
THE ISSUE IS CONCERNING HEADLIGHTS ON THE CHEVY MALIBU. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE THE HEADLIGHTS REPLACED NUMEROUS TIMES ONLY TO HAVE THEM BURN OUT WITHIN DAYS/WEEKS. ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC THE FAULT LIES WITH THE DESIGN. THE LIGHT GETS HOT ENOUGH TO BURN OUT THE HARNESS. THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE EXCEPT TO CONTINUE TO REPLACE THE BULB/HARNESS WHICH REQUIRES REMOVAL OF THE END FRONT BUMPER WHICH ONLY ADDS TO THE EXPENSE. THE INTERNET IS FULL OF COMPLAINTS OF THIS ISSUE. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE LIGHT WILL GO OUT WHICH HAS CAUSED US TO BE PULLED OVER SEVERAL TIMES BY THE POLICE AND GIVEN WARNINGS.
WHEN THE CAR IN MOTION. THE STEERING MAKES A LOUD NOISE WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL. AND THE AIR BAG INDICATOR JUST POPPED ON. STATING SERVICE THE VEHICLE.
I HAVE GOTTEN MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS CHANGED ON BOTH SIDES TWICE, COSTING ME $150 EACH TIME DUE TO HAVING TO REMOVE THE BUMPER, AND THEY KEEP GOING OUT!!! I WORK AT NIGHT IN AN AREA HEAVILY POPULATED WITH DEER, AMONG OTHER ISSUES WITH JUST NEEDING TO HAVE MY HEADLIGHTS WORKING REGULARLY. I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO KEEP REPLACING THEM! AND I JUST GOT IT IN OCTOBER.
IN THE PAST FEW YEARS MY HEADLIGHT KEEPS GOING OUT. I REPLACE THE BULB AND LIKE A MONTH LATER IT GOES OUT AGAIN. WENT TO REPLACE AGAIN AND BULB WAS FINE BUT BAD WIRING. FIXED THAT AND TODAY NOW BOTH HEADLIGHTS ARE OUT. I JUST REPLACED THEM IN THE SUMMER NOT SURE HOW THEY CAN BE OUT AGAIN! IT IS NOT AN EASY PROCESS TO GET TO THESE LIGHTS MAKING IT A LOT OF WORK AND MONEY IF I DONT DO IT MYSELF WHICH NOW THAT ITS NEGATIVE OUT I WILL BE PAYING TO GET THIS FIXED YET AGAIN. I WAS JUST LEAVING THE GROCERY STORE TURNED THEM ON AND THEY WERE NOT WORKING.
STARTING PROBLEM TOWED AND WORKED ON ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. MECHANIC REPLACED FUEL PUMP, ECM RELAY, ETC. ALL FIXED THE PROBLEM TEMPORARILY.MECANIC REFUSES TO WORK ON THE CAR NOW, CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM. WE KNOCK ON THE FUSE BOX IN THE TRUNK AND GET IT TO RUN BUT NOW DIES RANDOMLY. THE LAST TIME I DROVE IT, IT DIED IN A BLIND INTERSECTION AND I WAS ALMOST T-BONED.
MY 2011 MALIBU HAS FAULTY HEADLIGHTS THAT CONTINUOUSLY GO OUT AND CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT REMOVING THE FRONT BUMPER WHICH REQUIRES THE ASSISTANCE OF A MECHANIC AND THEREFORE COSTS HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO DO. EVEN AFTER THE BULB IS CHANGED, IT HAS BEEN KNOWN TO GO OUT AGAIN AS QUICKLY AS HOURS LATER. THIS CREATES UNSAFE DRIVING CONDITIONS AS OFTEN TIMES THE OUTAGES OCCUR SPONTANEOUSLY, AT NIGHT, AND ON DARK ROADWAYS. IT IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY DANGEROUS AND FINANCIALLY TAXING TO OWN AND OPERATE THIS VEHICLE DUE TO THE PROBLEMS WITH THE HEADLIGHTS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A STANDSTILL, THE SEAT BELT CABLE FRACTURED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V269000 (SEAT BELTS). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GATEWAY CHEVROLET CADILLAC (LOCATED AT 501 38TH ST S, FARGO, ND 58103, (701) 282-5522) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PRETENSION CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
STABILITRAK CONTROL TURNED ON CHANGE ALL SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES PLUS COILS. RAN FINE 1 WEEK AGAIN STABILITRAK FLASHING ENGINE IN LIMP MODE. TOOK RO MECHANIC REPLACES LIFTERS CAM SHAFT. ONE WEEK LATER AGAIN. REBUILD COMPLETE MOTOR AND STILL DISPLAYING SAME ISSUE!!!! TRUCK IS A LEMON
THE ABS, ESC, AND SERVICE TRACTION LIGHTS CAME ON WHILE I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE SUDDENLY MY CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING. I EXITED THE HIGHWAY AND AS MY CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IT STARTED ROLLING BACKWARDS AND THE BREAKS LOCKED UP SO I COULDNT STOP. IT ONLY STOPPED ROLLING AFTER PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK, HITTING THE EMERGENCY BREAK, AND QUICKLY GETTING THE KEY OUT BEFORE HITTING THE FAMILY BEHIND ME. I TRIED TO TURN ON MY HAZARDS AND THEY WOULDNT COME ON. I RESTARTED THE CAR, AND THE WHOLE DASH WAS FLICKERING. AFTER TRYING THIS 3 TIMES IT STARTED, BUT WHEN I TRIED TO ACCELERATE THE CAR WENT TO 7/8 RPM AND DID NOTHING. THEN IT STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARDS AGAIN BEFORE I COULD PUT IT IN PARK I WAS THRUSTED FORWARD INTO THE CENTER OF A ROUNDABOUT. AFTER THAT IT BEGAN TO DRIVE. I WAS LESS THAN 5 MINUTES FROM A FAMILY MEMBERS HOME SO I TRIED TO MAKE IT. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR GOING 30 MPH FOR LESS THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE SPEED IMMEDIATELY DROPPED TO ZERO, AND THE CAR BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARDS AGAIN. MY FACE HIT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAUSE OF THE JOLT WHICH RESULTED IN FACIAL BRUISES. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WHEN THIS ISSUE HAPPENED ALL OF THE ELECTRIC IN THE CAR STARTED GOING CRAZY. I WAS ON A BACKROAD, AND LUCKILY A GOOD SAMARITAN STOPPED TO HELP ME. I CALLED MY UNCLE WHO IS A MECHANIC WHO TOWED ME BACK TO THE HOUSE. THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME IVE HAD ISSUE WITH THESE WARNINGS COMING UP AND THEN I HAVE TO SUDDENLY START FIGHTING TO SURVIVE BEING TRAPPED IN A CAR TRYING TO KILL ME. SINCE THIS LAST INCIDENT I HAVE NOT TRIED TO DRIVE THE CAR. AFTER SEEING MULTIPLE MECHANICS THEY CONFIRMED THIS WAS A COMMON ISSUE IN THIS YEAR MAKE AND MODEL OF THE VEHICLE. NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN CAUSING THIS. THIS KIND OF ISSUE COULD KILL SOMEONE. IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED, AND GM NEEDS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING UNRELIABLE, UNSAFE, DEATH TRAPS TO CONSUMERS.
NUMEROUS DASH LIGHTS RANDOMLY COME ON SERVICE ESC SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL ENGINE POWER REDUCED ENGINE POWER REDUCED FOLLOWED BY ENGINE DISABLED . AT THAT POINT THE ENGINE DIES AND YOU ARE UNEXPECTEDLY FACED WITH THE SURPRISED HORROR OF BEING AT A ROLL UN ABLE TO POWER OUT OF THE WAY OF TRAFFIC .AND AT THE MERCY OF THE EXACT LOCATION OF ALL THESE THINGS SUDDENLY HAPPENING AT RANDOM ALL THE WARNINGS ARE QUICK SO QUICK U HAVE NO TIME TO PULL OVER BEFOR YOU ARE AT A DEAD ROLL . TODAY MY MOM N ME AS WELL AS MY GIRLFRIEND WERE ALL MOST KILLED BY A SEMI TRUCK CARRYING HOT ASPHALT . I COULDNT IMAGINE HAVING TO BE SMASHED TO DEATH WITH NO CHANCE TO REACT AND TO TOP IT OFF POSSIBLY EVEN BURNED TO DEATH CRUSHED ALL WHILE HAVEING TO HEAR MY MOTHERS SCREAMS IN MY LAST MOMENTS OF LIFE.PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS PROBLEM I'VE RESEARCHED ONLINE AND IVE FOUND MANY FORMS WHERE PPL AREHAVEIBG SIMPLER ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING MY CAR EVERYDAY AND ON SUNDAY 11/24/19, I REVERSED FROM DRIVEWAY AND WHEN SHIFTED TO DRIVE THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. I TRIED NEUTRAL AND MANUAL AND NOTHING BUT THE REVERSE WAS FINE. AN ODD THING IS THAT IT IS THE TRANSMISSION OIL SUPPLY LINE, A SMALL PIECE THAT DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL SO NOT SURE HOW IT WAS DAMAGED WHICH IS CAUSING THE CAR TO NOT MOVE WHEN IN DRIVE. THIS DEFINITELY IS AN ISSUE WITH GMC CARS AS I HAVE RESEARCHED IT IN MULTIPLE CHEVY BLOGS. IF A MECHANIC IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS SMALL CAUSE THEY WOULD SUGGEST TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION UNNECESSARILY WHICH IS A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR FOR SOMETHING SIMPLE.
BUZZER SOUNDED, RED LIGHT FLASHED POWER STEERING SERVICE. THEN I HAD TROUBLE STEERING AND HAD TO FIGHT TO MAKE TURNS. HURT MY ARMS. VEHICLE HAD JUST BEGUN MOVING AND THE MINUTE I TOUCHED THE STEERING WHEEL IT WOULDN'T MOVE. IF I PUT ALL MY MIGHT INTO THE STEERING WHILE MOVING, I COULD TURN CORNERS, BUT IT HURT. STAYED STABLE GOING STRAIGHT.

THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT WAS INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AT THE RESIDENCE BY A MOBILE MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CALIPER DISINTEGRATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THE FIRST TIME, BUT A SECOND REPAIR WAS STILL PENDING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,000.
WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE THE ENGINE LIGHT WOULD CONSTANTLY COME ON AND GO OFF BUT NOW THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. I HAVE GOTTEN PULLED OVER BY THE POLICE 3 TIMES DUE TO MY INTERMITTENT HEADLIGHTS. THE FIRST TIME MY RIGHT SIDE HEADLIGHT WENT OUT, A OFFICER PULLED ME OVER AND INFORMED ME OF THE ISSUE, SO I GOT IT FIXED THE VERY NEXT DAY. A WEEK GOES BY AND I GET PULLED OVER AGAIN AND THE OFFICER INFORMED ME BUT THIS TIME I INFORMED THE OFFICER THAT I JUST CHANGED THE BULB A WEEK AGO AND HE MENTIONED THAT IT COULD BE THE WIRING. AFTER THE OFFICER LEFT, I GOT OUT MY CAR AND HIT THE HEADLIGHT WITH MY FIST AND IT CAME BACK ON JUST TO GO BACK OUT THE NEXT DAY. I WENT TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC AND HE CHANGED THE LIGHT BULB SOCKET. THAT ONLY LASTED 3 OR 4 WEEKS AND NOW I LITERALLY HAVE TO RIDE WITH MY HEADLIGHTS ON BRIGHT OR CAN'T BE OUT AT NIGHT. AFTER GOING TO MULTIPLE AUTO SHOPS, THEY ALL SAYS THAT IT'S THE WIRING, WHICH I ALREADY KNEW BECAUSE THE GAGES ON MY DASHBOARD LIGHTS UP LIKE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS EVERY OTHER DAY.
MY POWER STEERING KEEPS GOING IN AND OUT WHILE I'M DRIVING. THE SERVICE ESC LIGHT APPEARS AND THEN WILL TURN OFF WHEN I TURN MY CAR OFF
THESE ARE RECALLS THAT I WAS NEVER MADE AWARE OF AND HAVE NOT BEEN REPAIRED.
MY PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT KEEPS GOING OUT. I HAVE CHANGED THE CONNECTOR AND BULBS MULTIPLE TIMES SAME PROBLEM KEEPS OCCURRING FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. IT TURNS ON IF I HIT A BUMP AND GOES RIGHT BACK OUT. I CHANGED THE BULBS AGAIN TODAY STAYED ON ALL DAY UNTIL I MOVED MY CAR. MY CAR WAS STATIONARY

ALL THE OTHER LIGHTS ON THAT SIDE WORK FINE. A FEW TIMES I COULD TAP ON THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND IT WOULD COME BACK ON. I TOOK IT APART AND FOUND THAT THE PLASTIC CONNECTOR WAS BROKEN AND SHORTED OUT, SO I ORDERED A NEW WIRING HARNESS THAT GOES FROM THE GROUND WIRE SPLIT TO THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY, PUT IT TOGETHER AND IT WORKED FINE FOR 2 DAYS AND WENT OUT AGAIN. I TOOK THE FRONT END OFF AGIAN AND UNPLUGGED THE BULB AND PLUGGED IT BACK IN AND IT WORKS FINE AGAIN. I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE WIRES AND THE GROUND SCREW AND CAN'T FIND A PROBLEM.
FINANCING A CAR THROUGH DEALERSHIP AND FOUND OUT THE ODOMETER HAS BEEN ROLLED BACK ODOMETER READING 62,634 WHEN PURCHASED 2 MONTHS AGO AND IT STILL READS THE EXACT SAME NOW. LOOKED UP VIN NUMBER AND IN MAY 2019 MILEAGE WAS REPORTED AS 63,789
PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT KEEPS BURNING OUT OVER THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS. AS OF THIS MORNING, BOTH BREAK LIGHTS AND REAR TURN SIGNALS ARE RANDOMLY WORKING. SOMETIMES THEY WORK, SOMETIMES THEY DON'T. I'VE READ A LOT OF POSTS ABOUT PEOPLE DEALING WITH ISSUES WITH THE POWER GOING SPECIFICALLY TO HEADLIGHTS, AS IN IT IS TOO MUCH VOLTAGE AND THAT IS CAUSING THE LIGHT TO GO OUT.
WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND I WAS UNBLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING WHILE AS IF THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT.
THE HEAD LIGHTS IN MY VEHICLE DO NOT WORK AT ALL. I HAVE TO USE THE BRIGHTS TO SEE ANYTHING AT NIGHT. THE HEAT WORKS WHEN IT WANTS TOO AND WHEN I BUMP INTO A SMALL LUMP ON THE STREET IT TURNS OFF. THE WHEEL BARRIER IS BAD ON MY RIGHT TIRE.
LOSS OF POWER STEERING
WHEN WE ARE DRIVING THE CAR IT WILL START SHAKING, THE ESC LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CAR COMPLETELY DIES. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH AND 70 MPH ON CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS. WE HAVE HAD IT IN MULTIPLE SHOPS AND BEEN TOLD THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE NOBODY HAS FOUND A RESOLUTION FOR. VERY DANGEROUS AND AFRAID TO PUT OUR KIDS IN THE CAR AS WE DON'T KNOW WHEN IT WILL DO IT, THERE HASN'T BEEN A COMMON VARIABLE.
