STABILITY TRACK WARNING, ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT WARNING ALL APPEARED ON SAME DAY AFTER MOVING FROM PARKING SPOT AND TURNING OUT. CRUISE CONTROL NOT WORKING. POWER STEERING IS STRAINED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER BLEW HOT AIR WHEN TURNED ON. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE CHEVROLET OF BOISE LOCATED AT (12300 W FAIRVIEW AVE, BOISE, ID 83713), WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONDENSER WAS CRACKED. THE DEALER STATED THAT IT WAS A RECURRING FAILURE FROM 2015 AND 2016 MODELS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE FORWARD DRIVE ENGAGEMENT SWITCH SHOULD NOT BE LEFT ON AUTO, TO AVOID AUTOMATIC SWITCH FROM TWO TO FOUR DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 81,000.*DT*JB
My brakes weren’t working very good. And when I backed out my driveway I had no brakes at all and almost hit a vehicle. I took my truck to Smith Chevrolet where I bought it in Turlock Ca 95380. Upon arrival they checked it in an provided me a loaner vehicle. I purchased the vehicle with every extended warranty available.. I was within my warranties. I’m still in my warranty limit. I received a call and was told they need the loaner vehicle back for other customers. I asked if they fixed the issue. The service tech manager and service tech said there was no issue with the brakes. I asked if they got in the vehicle and tested it. They said yes. Problem is I knew they were lying. I arrived to the dealership and I met with [XXX] the general manager cause I had conflict with service manager and service tech. I asked a 30+ year mechanic named [XXX] landers to jump in the truck to test the brake. He said there’s no reason the brake boosters are defected and should be replaced. But I insisted he still test the vehicle. When tested the vehicle had severe break issues. I was still left with no loaner vehicle and given my truck to take home with brake issues. Come to find out the service manager and service tech were fired. But [XXX] the general manager was the one that let me leave with my truck and no loaner vehicle. It has been a nightmare for a couple years now. I think outside of this I will seek a serious lawsuit against Smith Chevrolet and [XXX]. The brake booster is still not fixed. THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO (BUCHANAN AUTOMOTIVE 1035 E MAIN ST, WAYNESBORO, PA 17268) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DEFECTIVE ENGINE PISTONS. THE DEALER INFORMED HER HUSBAND THAT THE PARTS TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE CURRENTLY ON BACK ORDER. THE VEHICLE REMAINED IN THE POSSESSION OF THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving at an unknown speed, he depressed the accelerator pedal however, the vehicle failed to respond with an abnormal noise. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer and was informed no failure was detected. The contact stated two weeks later, he experienced the failure for a second time and the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact took the vehicle back to the local dealer and was informed no failure was detected. The contact took the vehicle to a second local dealer; Hamden Chevrolet (200 Skiff St, Hamden, CT 06517, (203) 687-4751) where it was diagnosed with needing the lifters, valves, manifolds, gaskets, seals, and pushrods to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the contact experienced the failure for the third time. The contact took the vehicle to the first local dealer, where it was still under diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.
AS I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET HIGH SPEED LIMIT ALL THE SUDDEN ALL THE WARNING DASH LIGHTS CAME ON ALTHOUGH THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT TRIED TO SLOW DOWN AND HAD TO APPLY A LOT OF PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL . I DID NOT UNDERSTAND IT. WHEN I STOPPED THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. I TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE WITH THE KEY AND STARTED IT AGAIN. A COUPLE DAYS LATER I REMOTELY STARTED MY VEHICLE BUT WHEN I GOT IN AND TURN THE KEY ON THE LIGHTS DID NOT GO OFF IMMEDIATELY AS THEY NORMALLY DO.
IT HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY.. AS I SLOW UP TO A SPEED UNDER 10 MILES AN HOUR, AS SOON AS I TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, THE VEHICLE WILL LOSE POWER, EITHER TURNING OFF AND ON FAST THE DASH WILL LOSE POWER BUT THE MOTOR WILL STILL BE RUNNING... SHERRY THIS HAPPENS, THE STEERING FEELS LIKE THERES RESISTANCE TURNING AND THE ONLY WAY TO FIX IT IS TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE AND LET IT SIT. OTHER TIMES IT WILL HAPPEN AND THE VEHICLE WILL LOSE TOTAL POWER,ALMOST LIKE I REMOVED THE KEY BUT THE VEHICLE WILL STILL BE ROLLING. THE STEERING WHEEL HAS LOCKED TWICE ALL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STILL IN MOTION AS WELL AND BRAKES ARE NON FUNCTIONING. ITS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES GOING THROUGH INTERSECTIONS, PULLING INTO MY DRIVEWAY, AND U TURNS. IT NEVER HAPPENS IN REVERSE. ILL NEVER OWN A CHEVY AGAIN...
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD INTO GEAR WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND EXTREMELY HARD WHEN TOWING 2,000LB EMPTY TRAILER, CURRENTLY AT DEALERSHIP TO HAVE NEW TORQUE CONVERTER AND PUMP INSTALLED. DEALERSHIP STATED NO METAL SHAVINGS IN TRANSMISSION THEY BELIEVE. WHEN ACCELERATING ENGINE RPMS INCREASE WHILE VEHICLE SPEED DECREASES. STEREO CONSTANTLY DISCONNECTS FROM WIFI WHEN STREAMING MUSIC. WIFI WILL CONTINUE TO WORK FOR OTHER DEVICES. VOICE COMMANDS WORK 80%ISH OF THE TIME.
THE ABS SYSTEM FAILED WHEN BRAKING ON A SNOWY, ICY, SLIPPERY ROAD LOCKING ALL FOUR WHEELS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SKID OUT OF CONTROL. THE BRAKE LIGHT AND ABS LIGHT AND TCS ICON WERE DISPLAYED. THE BRAKES HAD TO BE RELEASED TO REGAIN STEERING CONTROL AND JUDICIOUS USE OF MANUAL BRAKING EVENTUALLY BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THE ABS PUMP MOTOR WAS NOTED RUNNING CONTINUOUSLY EVEN WITH THE ENGINE OFF. ONSTAR DIAGNOSTICS INDICATED A TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM ERROR. THIS BRAKING FAILURE OCCURRED IN CONDITIONS THAT THE ABS IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO PREVENT LOSS OF CONTROL!
MY 2017 SILVERADO IS EXPERIENCING A VERY HARD BRAKE PEDAL AT SLOW SPEEDS. I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP IN OCTOBER 2019 FOR THE RECALL PERTAINING TO THIS ISSUE WHERE THEY REPROGRAM THE BRAKING UNIT. I HAD TAKEN IT IN FOR THAT RECALL JUST AS A PREVENTATIVE MEASURE BUT NOW 4 MONTHS LATER I HAVE A VERY HARD BRAKE PEDAL AT SLOW SPEEDS. I HAD NOT HAD A BRAKING ISSUE UNTIL NOW. WHEN IT ACTS UP THE PEDAL IS SO HARD IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO STOP THE TRUCK. IT SEEMS TO HAVE A HARD BRAKE PEDAL WHEN I'M GOING SLOW AS IN BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC OR PARKING THE VEHICLE IN A PARKING LOT WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES OFF AND ON WHILE DOING SO.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE DURING NIGHTTIME HOURS THE DASHLIGHTS AND NAVIGATION SCREEN WILL TURN TO DAYLIGHT MODE WHICH THEN MAKES THE TRUCK HEADLIGHTS TURN OFF (WHEN IN AUTO MOD) AND THE NAVIGATION SCREEN IS TOO BRIGHT AND DISTRACTS YOU WHEN DRIVING. THE DASH LIGHTS AND NAVIGATION SCREEN WILL RANDOMLY SWITCH BETWEEN DAYTIME AND NIGHT TIME MODE WHEN DRIVING.
I NOTICE A BURNT SMELL UNDER THE TRUCK AFTER COMING HOME AND SEEN OIL ALL UNDER MY TRUCK. I WAS AFRAID TO DRIVE IT AFTER I SEEN A HUGE LEAK . I FILLED IT UP WITH OIL AND TOOK IT TO THE DEAL STATED 2 ENGINE SEAL OPEN WHEN ENGAIN HAD PRESSURE DURING A DRIVE . THIS HAPPEN AROUND 74 TO 75,000 MILES BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE DEAL IT BARLEY HAD OIL I HAD TO PAY 800 DOLLORS OUT OF POCKET.
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle started shaking and the contact heard an abnormally loud sound before the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was able to push the vehicle to the side of the roadway, where the failure persisted. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with transmission failure. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but was unable to assist. The failure mileage was 62,000.
TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL MODULE LIGHT ILLUMINATED IN THE DASH. THIS MAY CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO BE INOPERABLE UNEXPECTEDLY. THIS PART MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH A REPROGRAMMING ISSUE THAT WAS ON ANOTHER RECALL. CUSTOMER IS BURDENED WITH REPAIR COSTS AND THE MODULE IS IN HIGH DEMAND AS PART OF A 'NATIONAL RECALL'. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 6 WEEKS FOR THE BACK ORDERED PART. I WAS TOLD IT WAS DELAYED AS RESULT OF A LABOR STRIKE.
HAD RECALL PERFORMED TO ADDRESS HARD BREAKING AT SLOW SPEEDS. NOW THE TRUCK IS HARDER TO STOP AT SLOW SPEEDS AND GM WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY KNOW IT'S THE VACUUM PUMP AND BOOSTER AND EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR IT.
WHILE COMING TO A STOP IN TURN LANE, BRAKE ASSIST LIGHT CAME ON. INTERMITTENT ISSUE. AFTER COUPLE DAYS OF EXPERIENCING, I TAKE TRUCK IN TO FIND OUT ABOUT RECALL. THEY PERFORM REPROGRAMMING. DOESN'T FIX ISSUE. TELL ME I HAVE TO PAY DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THY FIND VACUUM PUMP NEEDS REPLACING. THEY COVERED COST UNDER "SPECIAL COVERAGE" BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT'S FAULTY (BUT NOT COVERED ALREADY UNDER RECALL?). THEY SAY IT'S FIXED. I PICK THE TRUCK UP, BRAKE ASSIST LIGHT COMES ON DRIVING OUT THE PARKING LOT. TAKE IT BACK NEXT DAY. THEY TELL ME "PIN" IN THE CONNECTOR IS BROKEN CAUSING "GROUND FAULT." THEY CHARGE ME $500+ TO RUN NEW WIRE IN WIRE HARNESS. SAME CONNECTOR THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE TOUCHED WHILE REPLACING VACUUM PUMP. I PAY TO HAVE PIN FIXED. 3 WEEKS LATER, BRAKE ASSIST LIGHT COMES BACK ON WITH SAME EXACT SYMPTOMS. THIS TIME, THEY TELL ME ECBM NEED TO BE REPLACED. NOT JUST REPROGRAMMED. SOMEHOW, THE PRIOR TIMES, THE ERROR CODE WASN'T STORED. A) ERRORS AREN'T BEING STORED B) THEY'RE COVERING THEIR WARRANTY COST BY CHARGING FOR OTHER ADJACENT PARTS C) BRAKE ASSIST ISSUE GOING ON FOR NEARLY 8 WEEKS NOW UNRESOLVED. THEY NEED TO EXPAND THEIR RECALL TO INCLUDE ADJACENT "CONNECTORS" WHICH THE DEALER ADMITS HARDLY EVER FAIL. ALSO SHOULD INCLUDE VACUUM PUMP NOT JUST AS SPECIAL COVERAGE. ALSO, RECALL SHOULD EXPAND TO REPLACE ECBM BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY AREN'T STORING FAULT CODES WHEN THEY OCCUR. I READ THIS SAME THING ACROSS MANY FORUM POSTS ONLINE. ALL THE SAME ISSUES. HARD BRAKING, OR SOFT MECHANICAL BRAKE FEEL. I'VE NOW SPENT 1100 DOLLARS ON A PROBLEM THAT FALLS SQUARELY WITHIN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE RECALL. THEY TELL ME THAT "THESE PARTS" AREN'T COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. I SAY, EXPAND THE RECALL. RECALL STATES THEY DON'T HAVE TO INCLUDE THIS IN SEC FILINGS. I THINK THEY ARE UNDER REPRESENTING THEIR TRUE COSTS. MY GM CASE #9-5696419690
THIS COMPLAINT DEALS WITH THE BRAKE RECALL COMING FROM GM. I DID TAKE THE TRUCK TO HAVE THE BRAKE SYSTEM REPROGRAMMED. I HAD NO ISSUES UNTIL AFTER THE REPROGRAMMING OF THE SYSTEM. WHILE IN PARKING LOT GOING LESS THAN 5 MPH. I PULLED INTO A PARKING SPOT PLACED THE TRUCK INTO REVERSE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT AND DURING THE PROCESS OF PULLING BACK INTO THE PARKING SPACE STRAIGHT. WHEN I WENT TO DEPRESS THE PEDAL IT WAS VERY STIFF, IT ACTUALLY SEEMED AS IF THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS PUSHING BACK AT MY FOOT AND THE TRUCK DID NOT STOP WHEN IT WAS EXPECTED TO. LUCKILY, THERE WAS NO CAR IN THE SPACE IN FRONT OF ME ALLOWING FOR THE TRUCK TO COME TO A STOP WITH NO ACCIDENTS OR INCIDENTS. THIS AT OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY 73,500 MILES. I DID NOTIFY THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT THIS AND THEY ARE REPLACING THE VACUUM BRAKE PUMP FREE OF CHARGE. HOWEVER, IF CIRCUMSTANCES WERE DIFFERENT THIS ISSUE MAY HAVE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT.
I PICKED MY TRUCK UP FROM THE LOCAL DEALER AFTER HAVING RECALL N192268490 REPAIRED. THE HARD PEDAL ISSUE IS NOW WORSE THAN BEFORE. THE FIRST TIME YOU PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL IT FEELS OK BUT THE SECOND TIME IT HAS LITTLE TO NO POWER ASSIST AND DON'T TRY FOR A THIRD. BY THE THIRD TRY THE PEDAL IS ROCK SOLID AND YOU END UP BACKING INTO YOUR TRACTOR UNDER THE SHELTER. SO IT'S BACK TO THE DEALER IN THE MORNING
MY 2017 CHEVY 2500HD SILVERADO SHAKES HARD WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE WITH HIS EMERGENCY BRAKE AND PULLED THE VEHICLE OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BOB STALL CHEVROLET (7601 ALVARADO RD, LA MESA, CA 91942) TO HAVE THE VEHICLE SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V645000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC);HOWEVER, THE DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE REMAINED IN THEIR POSSESSION FOR 6 WEEKS. THE CONTACT REQUESTED A LOANER VEHICLE WHICH WAS DENIED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF MATTER AND HAVE OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 41,000.
WHEEL FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE SLAMMED INTO CENTER FROM OF MY VEHICLE ON INTERSTATE. LARGE BANG WAS HEARD AND ACRID DUST/SMOKE FILLED INTERIOR CAB, BUT NO AIRBAG DEPLOYED. I WAS GOING ABOUT 60 MPH AND WHEEL WAS COMING AT ME AT AROUND 50-60 MPH. THIS WAS AN ENTIRE STEEL RIM AND TIRE FROM AN SUV.
I WAS AT A RED LIGHT HOLDING THE BRAKE PEDAL, SUDDENLY IT BECAME REALLY HARD TO PRESS AND THE BRAKING WAS LIMITED. TRIED PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL A FEW TIMES BUT PROBLEM PERSISTED. THE FOLLOWING DAY NOTICED THAT THE REAR WINDOW PANEL HAD SHATTERED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MCCARTHY-MORSE CHEVROLET, 9201 METCALF AVE, OVERLAND PARK, KS 66212, THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000.
TURNING INTO SHOPPING CENTER PARKING LOT AND THE ENGINE TURNED OFF. I WAS ABLE TO RESTART IT. EVERYTHING HAD RESET.
THE TRUCK GLITCHES TURNS OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY OR TURNING SOMEWHERE IT WILL TURN OFF THE STEERING WHEEL GETS HARD AND EVERYTHING TURNS OFF FOR 3 SECONDS AND GOES BACK ON. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN AND REPORTED THIS MORE THAN ONCE AND IF I GET IN A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS I AM SUEING THIS COMPANY!
WHEN BRAKING AND VEHICLE IS SLOWING TO A STOP ENGINE SPEEDS UP JUST BEFORE STOPPING AND VEHICLE SURGES FORWARD NECESSITATING INCREASED PRESSURE ON BRAKE PEDAL. HAPPENS EVERY TIME VEHICLE IS COMING TO A STOP. EXTREMELY DISCONCERTING PROCEEDING DOWN A STEEP HILL.
I'VE NOTICED SINCE THE FIRST MONTH OF OWNER SHIP BACK IN 2018, THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY TRANSMISSION. I OWN A 2017 CHEVY SILVERADO WITH THE 8 SPEED TRANSMISSION. NOT ONLY HAD IT BEEN DISCOURAGING, IT'S DISTURBING, AND POSSIBLY EVEN UNSAFE. FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR THERE IS A HARD SHIFT IN THE TRANSMISSION. AND THE SAME PROBLEM IS FROM 2ND TO 1ST GEAR. THE VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD CLUNK AND IT JERKS SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE FACT I SPENT $50,000 ON THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW AND HAVE GOT NOWHERE WITH THE PROBLEM IS OUTRAGEOUS. I ALWAYS BELIEVE IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN, BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WILL MOVE IT RADICALLY. WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO MY DEALERSHIP THEY SAID IT WAS 'LEFT IN 4 WHEEL DRIVE' RIDICULOUS LIES. AND IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY DID THEY 'UPDATE THE TRANSMISSION COMPUTER.' REGARDLESS, ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS FROM GM HAVE BEEN SWEPT UNDER THE RUG. THE PROBLEM HAS NEVER STOPPED. I'VE GOTTEN REPLIES FROM SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES AT THE DEALERSHIP SAYING 'THEY ALL DO THAT' OR 'IT'S FINE' SO TIRED OF GETTING NOWHERE. GM SHOULD BE REPLACING EVERY SINGLE 8 SPEED TRANSMISSION. I AM WORRIED THAT MY TRANSMISSION WILL FAIL AT ANY TIME. NEW VEHICLES SHOULD NOT DRIVE LIKE THIS.

VEHICLE WAS IN FOR A RECALL 1 WEEK PRIOR TO RECALIBRATE A POSSIBLE ERROR IN THE VACUUM ASSIST PUMP TO BRAKE SYSTEM. THIS WEEK, STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN ON A HIGHWAY, POSTED SPEED 45 AND THE BRAKE DISENGAGED AND VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD. CALLED DEALER, SERVICE TECH SAYS KNOWN ISSUE, GM HAS ISSUED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY TO THIS MODEL TO REPAIR/REPLACE THE PART KNOWN TO BE FAULTY. TECH SAID GM SHOULD HAVE MAILED A LETTER SAYING THAT IF, AND ONLY IF THE BRAKES FAILED OR BECAME HARD TO PRESS, BRING VEHICLE IN. IF THERE HAD BEEN A PEDESTRIAN OR VEHICLE CLOSE, I WOULD HAVE HIT THEM. BRINGING VEHICLE IN AFTER THE FACT WOULD BE TOO LATE. MY VEHICLE QUALIFIED FOR THE FREE REPAIR SO IT IS BEING REPAIRED NOW.

On 10/26/2019, the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was being driven in heavy traffic on the 134/210 Freeway area of Glendale, California. The truck was going 10 mph, and when the driver went to stop, the brake petal pressed to the floor, resulting in a rear end collision with the car in front of it. The driver of the first car appeared uninjured, but filed a claim later that he had ongoing lower back issues. The brake light only went on after the incident. The truck was driven to a local Chevrolet dealer and the brakes were serviced a few days later. The vacuum pump was the reason why the truck did not stop. It is notated on paperwork and confirmed when speaking to the Service Manager on Friday, November 1st at 4:30 pm. The service manager also reported there was now a recall to fix the problem, so it would be fixed and a new vacuum pump would be put in (Vacuum Pump Replacement Special Coverage N182198000). A claim was filed with GMC to pay for the damage and take over the insurance claim made by the owner of the truck, as well as the car in front of it. GMC came out to the Chevrolet dealer during that time, and GMC reported to the owner that they would not help with fixing the vehicle or the insurance claims. The owner requested the final report three times and there was no response. The truck had been reported to multiple service providers that there were issues with the stopping of the brakes in 2019. It was requested by the owner that the brakes were inspected so that they could be replaced if needed. There was also an incident in July 2019 where front and rear brakes were interchanged on the paperwork and the owner of the truck was told that it was just a paperwork mix up because they "fixed the brakes that were bad."
