The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The independent mechanic made the contact aware of an unknown NHTSA Campaign Number; however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000.
Vehicle's 6L80e Transmission broke at 101,786 miles. No gears remained but 1st gear which caused the vehicle to lose power when using the vehicle in automatic mode and essentially limped to the repair shop. Repair shop determined Whole transmission needs to be replaced 2nd gear was lost, 3rd to 4th gear was shuttering and 5,6 were lost. To replace the transmission it will cost of $4500. There were no warning lights on the dash There were no DTC codes on the OBDII scan

The contact stated that while driving approximately 80-85 MPH, the vehicle inadvertently started to decelerate with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact coasted to the side of the roadway and waited before restarting the vehicle and continued driving. The failure reoccurred several times. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 46,494.
VEHICLE IS MISFIRING AND STALLING DUE TO A FUEL INJECTOR PROBLEM SIMILAR TO THE BULLETIN N182198000. THIS BULLETIN SHOULD BE VALID FOR ANY STATE. GM IS HAVING MAJOR ISSUES WITH FUEL INJECTORS. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THIS VEHICLE MISFIRED WHICH FELT LIKE A JUMP AND I CAUSE ME TO HIT THE BRAKE THINKING IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE AND IT MISFIRED AGAIN WHICH MADE THE VEHICLE SLOW DOWN FASTER AND ALMOST CAUSE A WRECK ON THE HIGHWAY
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT 500 MILES ON ODOMETER DIAGNOSED AS FUEL VENTING FROM FUEL SYSTEM INTO CABIN COMPARTMENT RESULTING IN FUEL SMELL CAUSING NAUSEA, DIZZINESS AND CAUSING DRIVER AND OCCUPANTS TO BE EXTREMELY DROWSY. THIS OCCURRED WHEN CAR WAS STARTED AND WHEN DRIVING AT ALL TIME. DRIVER SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION AND DEALER HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY REPAIRING VEHICLE LE TO OWNERS SATISFACTION. DEALER REFUSED TO REPLACE BRAND NEW VEHICLE
