THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS START OPERATING BY THEMSELVES. ALSO WIPER FLUID COMES OUT BY ITSELF. THE WIPERS AND THE WIPER FLUIDS COMES OUT RATHER THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN OR WHERE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS SPRAYED UNCONTROLLABLY AT MAXIMUM PRESSURE. EVEN THOUGH THE SPRAYER ACTIVATED UNCONTROLLABLY, THE WIPERS DID NOT WORK. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND REMAINED LIT PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT CALLED PROGRESSIVE CHEVROLET AT 330-879-3697 (LOCATED AT 8000 HILLS AND DALES RD NW, MASSILLON, OH 44646) AND WAS ADVISED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 126,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (KUNI CHEVROLET CADILLAC, 2449 FULTON AVE, SACRAMENTO, CA 95825, (916) 538-7217) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIPER MOTOR MALFUNCTIONED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,500.
MY 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AUTOMATICALLY STARTS SPRAYING THE FRONT WINDOW AND THE WIPERS START AND WILL NOT STOP WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TURNED ON (THE WIPERS START UP AND IT STARTS SPRAYING WINDOW WASHING FLUID WHEN YOU TURN ON THE VEHICLE). THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!! THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET, ON THE HIGHWAY, TURNING, BRAKING AND ANY MOTION MOVING FORWARD OR BACKWARDS.
JULY 17, THE FRONT WINDOW WIPERS AND WINDOW WASHER OF MY 2006 TRAILBLAZER STARTED TURNING ON AUTOMATICALLY (WHEN I START THE 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER, THE WIPERS AND WASHER FLUID START AND WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THE TRAILBLAZER IS TURNED OFF). I CAN NOT DRIVE THE TRAILBLAZER WITH THE WIPER ALWAYS ON. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WINDOW FLUID WILL NOT STOP UNLESS I TURN OFF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO OPERATE !!! THIS OCCURS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, ON THE STREET, TURNING, BRAKING , ETC.
WIPERS AND WASHER FLUID WOULD START OPERATING ON THEIR OWN COULD NOT MAKE THEM STOP ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WASHER FLUID ONLY WOULD SPRAY WITHOUT WIPERS WORKING THIS IMPAIRED MY VISIBILITY OF THE ROAD AND SURROUNDING TRAFFIC FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF THE ROAD AND STOP THE VEHICLE ON BOTH OCCASIONS UNTIL IT STOPPED SPRAYING.
FLUID HAS GOTTEN INTO THE DRIVER DOOR AND CAUSED THE WINDOW MODULE TO QUIT WORKING. NONE OF THE CONTROLS ON THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WORKS. INCLUDING THE LOCKS, CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S MOVING OR STATIONARY THE CONTROLS DO NOT WORK.

EVERY TIME I START THE CAR THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTIVATE BY THEMSELVES . I WAS TOLD OF A RECAL 04V04600 THAT COVERED ONLY CERTAIN YEARS OF THE TRAILBLAZER. I RECEIVED PREVIOUS REPAIR WORK WHEN THIS STARTED HAPPENING. HAPPENS EVERY TIME I TURN ON THE VEHICLE
WINDSHIELD WIPER WORKING INCORRECTLY. ON ANY OF THE LOW WIPES, IT MIGHT WIPE AND IT MIGHT NOT. ON HIGH IT WILL WORK SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES IT WORKS LIKE IT IS ON LOW (INTERMITTENT) AND SLOW, AND SOMETIMES IT ACTS LIKE IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK AT ALL. MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND NOW IT IS ON-GOING. APPOINTMENT THIS WED., 10/26/16 TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND FIXED. I'M AFRAID I WILL GET CAUGHT IN THE RAIN WHEN I REALLY NEED THEM AND I MIGHT HAVE WIPERS AND I MIGHT NOT.
MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT A USED 2006 CHEVY TRAIL BLAZER. AFTER TWO MONTHS THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD TURN ON EVEN THOUGH THE SWITCH WAS OFF. THE WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID PUMP WOULD TURN ON AND SPRAY FLUID ON THE WINDSHIELD WHICH GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY. AFTER A WEEK I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL GARAGE. THEY REPLACED THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH. THIS DIDN'T FIX THE ISSUE, SO THEY REPLACED THE WIPER ASSEMBLY. THIS FIXED THE ISSUE FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS AND NOW I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE MY VEHICLE BACK AND HAVE THE ASSEMBLY REPLACED AGAIN. THIS HAPPENS AT RANDOM TRAVELING DOWN THE ROADWAY AT RANDOM SPEEDS. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. NOT AFTER A REPORTED DEATH!
I HAVE A 2006 TRAIL BLAZER THE WIPER COMES ON WHEN I START IT AND WHILE DRIVING IT, ALSO THE FLUIDS WILL SPRAY OUT . I TOOK IT TO BE FIX, AND ABOUT 3 TO 4 WEEKS IT STARTED AGAIN. WHY HAVEN'T THERE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS, SINCE THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM.

THE WIPERS ONLY GO ONE SPEED AND STAY ON. LESS I TAKE OUT THE FUSE. AND THEN IF I NEED THEM I PLACE THE FUSE BACK IN. I HAD PEOPLE LOOK AT AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE. IT JEST STARTED ONE DAY AND THE WINDOW WASHER FLUID WOULD ALSO SPRAY EVERY WERE.

THE ISSUE IS WITH THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS. THEY INTERMITTENTLY TURN ON AND OFF, SPRAYING WASHER FLUID, REGARDLESS OF THE SWITCH SETTING. THE WIPERS WILL COME ON AND SPRAY WASHER FLUID WITHIN THE FIRST MINUTE OF STARTING THE VEHICLE, AND WILL TURN THEMSELVES OFF WHEN IN USE, OR GO INTO A CONTINUOUS SPRAY MODE WHEN BEING USED, CAUSING VISIBILITY TO BE NONEXISTENT. WHEN THE FUSE WAS PULLED TO PREVENT FURTHER SCRATCHING TO THE WINDSHIELD FOR A TEMPORARY REPRIEVE, THE WIPERS CONTINUED TO GO, WITH NO CHANGE. THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS LESS THAN 135,000 MILES. THE ISSUE FIRST STARTED THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2015 AND HAS PROGRESSED SINCE THEN. IT BEGAN WITH ONE SWIPE OF THE WIPERS JUST AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED AND HAS TURNED INTO AN ISSUE DURING ALL DRIVING CONDITIONS.
MY 2006 TRAILBLAZER WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON WHEN STARTING MY VEHICLE, AND WON'T TURN OFF! AND WILL SPRAY THE WIPER FLUID OUT AS WELL, UNTIL IT'S COMPLETELY GONE.
AS SOON AS I TURN ON MY CAR, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WILL TURN ON AS WELL, EVEN THOUGH THEY AREN'T SWITCHED ON. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO STAY ON FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE DRIVE. I HAVE TRIED TO SWITCH FROM THE ON AND OFF POSITION AND IT WILL SOMETIMES HELP, BUT HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE THAT HAS NO AFFECT EITHER. SO, IT CONTINUES TO SCRAPE ACROSS MY WINDSHIELD RUINING IT WITH THE DRY WIPING THAT ITS DOING. I NEED THIS RESOLVED ASAP! I HAD A MECHANIC REPLACE THE MOTOR (THE PART THAT CONTROLS THE WIPERS AND THE TURNING SIGNAL) FOR $300 AND THAT HAD NO AFFECT! I NOTICE THERE IS A RECALL ON EARLIER MODELS BUT NOT ON THE LATER ONES BUT HAVE SEEN SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ON THE LATER MODELS AS WELL. THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF SOON!!

THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WIPER PUMP (WATER) WENT OFF CONTINUOUSLY (ON THEIR OWN) AND WOULD NOT STOP. THE WATER SPRAYER KEPT SQUIRTING WATER AND THE WIPERS KEPT GOING NON STOP. NOTHING WE DID WOULD MAKE IT STOP. FINALLY HAD TO DISCONNECT THE WIPER CONTROL MODULE, JUST TO MAKE THE WIPERS AND WATER STREAMING STOP. I COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING-VERY DANGEROUS. *TR
