Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH MICHELIN LTX M/S TIRES, SIZE P245/65/R17 (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TREAD ON ALL FOUR TIRES WAS SEPARATING AND THE OUTSIDE OF THE SIDEWALLS WERE CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT TIRE DEALER AND THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13T012000 (TIRES) SINCE THE SIZE OF THE TIRES DID NOT CORRELATE WITH THE RECALL. IT WAS BOUGHT IN 2011, AND EVER SINCE ME AND MY WIFE ARE SO SICK IN TIRED OF BUYING AND BUYING AND BUYING THESE VALVE STEMS THAT ARE JUNK AND IT LOOKS LIKE 15 DOLLARS TO BUY BUT ITS 60$ TO PUT IN..THIS IS GARBAGE COMPLETELY USELESS.. YOU FILL THE TIRE UP AND YOU CAN HEAR THE AIR COME OUT OF IT ITS LIKE A EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS I'VE HAD TO BUY ONE NOW I THINK ITS TIME TO SAY SOMETHING THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL TO PUT REGULAR OLD FASHIONED VALVE STEMS AND TAKE THEM TPMS OUT OF THE CARS/TRUCKS SOME PEOPLE CANT AFFORD THESE THINGS EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS. *TR
2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VALVE STEM CAPS AND TIRE PRESSURE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, AN ICON ON THE DASHBOARD LIT UP AND INDICATED LOW TIRE PRESSURE. THE CONSUMER STOPPED TO A GAS STATION TO CHECK THE AIR, BUT WAS UNABLE TO UNSCREW THE VALVE STEM. WHEN THE CONSUMER ARRIVED HOME, HE HAD TO USE A SMALL BOX WRENCH IN ORDER TO GET A BETTER GRIP ON THE CAP. IT TURNED A LITTLE AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE VALVE CAP BROKE OFF THE TIRE. THE TIRE THEN DEFLATED AND THE CONSUMER WAS FORCED TO PUT ON THE SPARE TIRE. HE WAS UNABLE TO SCREW THE VALVE CAP BACK ON THE STEM. THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THE VALVE STEM CAP WAS CORRODED DUE TO THE SALT USED ON THE ROADS IN THE NORTHERN PART OF WISCONSIN. THE DEALER STATED THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE AND IT WAS A BAD DESIGN. THE DEALER STATED THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT VALVE STEM. THE CONSUMER WENT TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND HAD THE VALVE REPLACED AT A COST OF $87.00 THE CONSUMER STATED THE ANOTHER VALVE STEM BROKE. *JB
FRIDAY OCTOBER 29TH 2010, I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE AND MY RIM BLEW A HOLE. MY TIRE IS FINE ,BUT I HAVE A HUGE HOLE IN MY RIM. I DIDN'T RUN OVER ANYTHING AND I WAS JUST GETTING ON THE INTERSTATE SO I WAS DOING AROUND 50MPH. IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE THANK GOD OR I WOULD HAVE TAKEN CARS OUT WITH ME. I WAS JUST DRIVING AND I HEARD THIS VERY SCARY,LOUD SOUND AND IT JERKED ME OFF TO THE RIGHT AND I PULLED OVER AND CALLED FOR HELP. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND THEY HAVE IN THE 30YEARS HE WORKED THERE EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. THE DISTRICT MANAGER OK'D FOR ME TO GET A NEW RIM. MY CONCERN IS I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE WITH THE RIMS. ARE THEY SAFE? I HAVE A FAMILY, WILL THE OTHERS BLOW OUT LIKE THE ONE DID? HOW CAN YOU GUARANTEE ME THEY ARE SAFE?? I WANT 4 DIFFERENT RIMS DUE TO I DON'T FEEL SAFE. *TR
VEHICLE HAS 31K MILES. A FLAT TIRE OCCURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FOR REPAIR. THE REPAIR FACILITY INDICATED THAT THEY COULD NOT REPAIR THE TIRE SINCE THE TREAD HAD REACHED THROUGH WEAR BARS. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN PROPERLY MAINTAINED WITH CORRECT TIRE PRESSURE AND TIRE ROTATIONS. NO ACCIDENT OR INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED AS A RESULT OF THE INCIDENT BUT THE TIRE WEAR WAS NOT AN ISSUE AT THE LAST SERVICE, AND IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE FLAT TIRE, WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NOTICED UNTIL THE NEXT SERVICE WHICH WOULD HAVE OCCURRED AFTER THE START OF THE SNOW & ICE SEASON. TIRE WAS ON THE RIGHT REAR. LEFT REAR TIRE ALSO SHOWING CONSIDERABLE WEAR, JUST SHORT OF THE WEAR BARS. *TR

THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE LOCATED IN THE TRUNK OF THE VEHICLE WAS A DIFFERENT SIZE FROM THE ORIGINAL FOUR TIRES MOUNTED ON THE VEHICLE. THE SPARE TIRE WAS A GOODYEAR WRANGLER, SIZE LT235/75R16 (NA). THE AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY STATED THAT THE SPARE WAS DESIGNED FOR THE VEHICLE BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE SPARE TIRE EXHIBITED NO DEFECTS. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE, VIN, AND DOT NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN.

BOUGHT BRAND NEW CHEVY TRAILBLAZER FROM GM AND NOTICED MIDDLE TREAD WEAR ON ALL 4 TIRES AROUND 13K, TOOK VEHICLE IN AT 25K SINCE TREAD WAS BELOW 2/32 WHILE OUTER TREAD FINE AT 5/32 ON ALL 4 TIRES. EVEN HAD TIRES ROTATED BY DEALER WHEN WEAR NOTICED AROUND 13K. GM WOULD NOT COVER TIRES AND WAS NOT NOTIFIED TO CONTACT TIRE MANUF. CONTACTED TIRE MANUF (CONTINENTAL) AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD NOT COVER ANYTHING SINCE I HAD DIFFERENT TIRES PUT ON BY THE DEALERSHIP NOW. HAVE DOCUMENTATION FROM ONSTAR SHOWING PROPER INFLATION EVERY MONTH THAT VEHICLE HAS BEEN OWNED. NO ONE WILL COVER COST OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR BAD TIRES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER 360. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIR, THE SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT THE MONITOR WAS RESET AND REPAIRED. ON TWO OCCASIONS, A DEALER ATTEMPTED TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT INDICATED THE INCORRECT RECOMMENDED TIRE PRESSURE. THE RECOMMENDED TIRE PRESSURE IS 32 PSI, BUT THE MONITOR READ 37 PSI. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 850.
