MY WARNING LIGHTS KEEP COMING ON SAYING TRACTION CONTROL OFF REDUCED ENGINE POWER SERVICE STABILITY CONTROL. CODE CAME UP AS AND IGNITION SWITCH PROBLEM HAD THE IGNITION SWITCH CHANGED THINGS WERE FINE FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN STARTED HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM CAR WAS BOUGHT IN 2017 ISSUES BEEN GOING ON SINCE THEN. CAR WAS IN MOTION. THIS IS A PROBLEM BECAUSE ITS COMPLETELY DIED ON ME WHILE DRIVING MANY TIMES I HAVE TRIED MANY THINGS TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM TO NO AVAIL. DOING MY OWN RESEARCH ONLINE ALL SIGNS POINT TO THIS BEING AN ISSUE CHEVROLET IS AWARE OF BUT WON'T RECALL OR FIX THE ISSUE FOR FREE.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING ALONG AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS UNEXPECTEDLY GET ERROR MESSAGES, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, SERVICE STABILITRAK, TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF, ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED. THE FIRST TIME I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO A DEALERSHIP. THE SECOND TIME I LOST ALL POWER AND WAS LUCKY THAT I WAS IN A RESIDENTIAL ZONE
THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO GET DIAGNOSED AND IT IS THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG THAT NEEDS FIXED. I CALLED GM AND BECAUSE THE CAR IS 6 YEARS OLD, IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY TO BE FIXED. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FIX A SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE THAT IS NOT WEAR AND TEAR.
Replaced alternator 1 yr ago when my battery suddenly died. Fast forward to now it seems that the new alternator is failing in some capacity because of an improper design. The volt meter would drop below 14 while driving and have seen other reports from other Traverse owners with the same issue. Please issue a recall.
FIRST THE SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT COME ON THEN THE SEAT BELT LIGHT GOES OFF THEN TRACTION LIGHT/STABILITAK COMES ON LOSE POWER ON HIGHWAY NOW A RUBBING SOUND ON DRIVER SIDE
THE TRACTION CONTROL GOES OUT RANDOMLY AND I LOSE MY POWER STEERING AND ALL MY FUNCTIONS OF MY CAR RANDOMLY AND I HAVE TO PULL OVER TO TURN IT OFF WHEN I'M DRIVING TO GET IT TO GO BACK TO NORMAL ONCE I RESTART IT IT'S FINE. BUT IT DOES IT RANDOMLY FOR NO REASON AND IT'S VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE I CAN'T USE MY STEERING OR PEDALS OR ANYTHING. IT ALL STOPS WORKING UNTIL I STOP AND TURN IT OFF THEN BACK ON. I THINK IT'S THE THROTTLE BODY THAT'S CAUSING IT BUT NOT SURE IT SAYS ONLINE IT'S A COMMON ISSUE BUT DOESN'T SAY WHY OR WHAT TO DO. I NEED IT TO GET FIX BECAUSE I AM AFRAID IT'LL CAUSE ME TO GET IN A WRECK
WITHOUT WARNING THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER AND SHUTS DOWN. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. WHEN I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND WAIT A MINUTE IT WILL START UP AGAIN WITH NO PROBLEM. WHEN I'VE TRIED TO GET A PROGRAM READING FROM A REPAIR SHOP, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD RESET ITSELF AND NO READING WAS AVAILABLE. AT OTHER TIMES THE CAR WOULDN'T START AT ALL... AND I HAVE RECENTLY REPLACED THE BATTERY.
I WAS GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE STABILITRAK, TRACTION CONTROL, CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ALL CAME ON. ENGINE REDUCED POWER LIGHT CAME ON I LOST ALL POWER OF THE VEHICLE, I WAS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND FORCED OFF OF THE ROAD BECAUSE MY ENGINE DIED. I WENT FROM DOING 70 MPH DOWN TO 10 MPH AND CAME VERY CLOSE TO GETTING REAR ENDED BY A SEMI TRUCK AND TRAILER. WHEN I GOT TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD I WASN'T ABLE TO GET MY VEHICLE STARTED BACK AND HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. I HAVE SEEN WHERE THIS IS A PROBLEM IN THIS YEAR MODEL OF THIS VEHICLE AND WONDERING WHY IT HASN'T BEEN RECALLED YET BY THE MANUFACTURER BEFORE SOMEONE LOSES THERE LIFE.
MY SERVICE AIR BAG HAS COME ON AND THE ICON WITH AIRBAG IN RED. I HAVE NOT BEEN IN ANY ACCIDENTS AT ALL MY CAR IS GARAGE KEPT. IT JUST POPPED ON AND NEVER TURNED OFF
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH THE STABILITY CONTROL SENSOR, ABS SENSOR, AND ALL WHEEL DRIVE WENT OUT ALL AT ONCE, WHEN THAT HAPPENED THE CAR BY ITSELF WENT TO 35 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AND WOULD NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO GO OVER 35 MPH.
CAR STALLS WHILE DRIVING VERY ABRUPTLY. REDUCE ENGINE POWER AND SERVICE STABLITRAK COMES ON. THEN TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHTS FLASH. VERY VERY DANGEROUS. HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING CAR BEGINS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. ENGINE LIGHT REMAINS ON. HAPPENING TOO OFTEN HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY 2007 CHEVY EQUINOX. NO WAY THIS SHOULD NOT BE RECALLED IT'S DEFINITELY A KNOWN ISSUE.
PLEASE ASSOCIATED THIS COMPLAINT WITH TRACKING #11352061. I WANTED TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL PICTURES. I'VE WATCHED AND READ A RECALL REGARDING THESE ISSUES WITH SEVERAL CHEVROLET MODELS OVER THE YEARS AND OVER 1.37 MILLION VEHICLES WERE RECALLED. I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL. ATTACHED IS THE CODE ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROBLEM. AGAIN I OWN A 2014 CHEVY TRAVERSE LT WARNINGS HAVE COME UP TWICE IN 1 WEEK.
JUST BOUGHT THIS USED 2014 CHEVY TRAVERSE WITH 89K ON IT AND NOT EVEN TO THE FIRST OIL CHANGE AND THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF/SERVICE STABILITRAK CAME ON. CODE SAID ITA THE BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR. REPLACED THAT AND CALIBRATED IT AND DID NOT FIX PROBLEM. SHOP SAID I NEED TO REPLACE WHOLE BRAKE PEDAL. THIS REPAIR WOULDN'T FIX THE SLIGHT HESITATION THE CAR HAS WHEN EXCELERATING. I SEEN MANY FORUMS THAT THIS COULD BE MANY THINGS WHICH WILL BE REAL EXPENSES TO KEEP TRYING BEFORE ONE WORK. THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE WHO BUY THE CAR THAT'S STATES ERROR MESSAGES THAT CANNOT EVEN NARROW IT DOWN.
WHILE DRIVING ALONG AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS UNEXPECTEDLY GET ERROR MESSAGES, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, SERVICE STABILITRAK, TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF, ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED. NOW INSTEAD OF REDUCING ENGINE TO 3 CYLINDERS THE ENGINE IS COMPLETELY TURNED OFF. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS IF THIS HAPPENS IN HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AS THERE IS NO POWER TO MANEUVER THE CAR ONTO THE SHOULDER. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY CHEVROLET REPAIR CENTER THAT THIS IS DUE TO A SHORT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. NOT SURE IF THIS IS RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 14V614000.0
THE AIRBAG NEEDS SERVICE GOING ON AND OFF BUT DOESN'T SHOW A CODE AT DEALERSHIP. WHILE DRIVING SPEED REDUCES TO 15MPH OUT OF NOWHERE ONCE RESTARTED NO CODES SHOW. CAR DIES WHILE DRIVING RANDOMLY. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS COMING ON JUST EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE.
WHILE IN MOTION VEHICLE GOES UP TO THE THIRD RPM BEFORE TAKING OFF. VEHICLE ALSO JERKS WHEN PICKING UP SPEED. THE LIGHTING SYSTEM COMES ON AND OFF DURING A RIDE AT RANDOM REGARDLESS OF THE TIME OF DAY. VEHICLE MAKES LOUD NOISE WHEN ACCELERATING.
2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE - 40K MILES - SERVICE AIRBAG DASH LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON DURING NORMAL DRIVING - BELIEVE THIS IS ATTRIBUTED TO FAULTY WIRING HARNESS CONNECTORS UNDER DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT SEATS - DEALER CALLED AND MY EXTENDED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER REPAIR - THERE SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL ON THIS SIMILAR TO THE 2013'S
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SERVICE AIR BAGS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING AT 20 MPH. THE CONTACT CALLED TRAPP CHEVROLET (200 S HOLLYWOOD RD, HOUMA, LA 70360) AND GOLDEN MOTORS, L.L.C. (15101 LA-3235, CUT OFF, LA 70345) AND NOTIFIED THE DEALERS OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED BY BOTH DEALERS THAT A DIAGNOSTIC FEE WOULD BE ASSESSED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT DECLINED TO PAY TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,729.
DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY AND THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED; REDUCED ENGINE POWER, SERVICE STABILTRACK, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 70MPH. THE VEHICLE ALMOST CAME TO A DEAD STOP WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME ALONG AND WITH OPPOSING TRAFFIC. I ENGAGED THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL AND COASTED TO THE SHOULDER WITH MY HAZARDS ON. I TRIED TO REMAIN CALM WITH MY FAMILY IN THE CAR SINCE IT WAS ALMOST LIFE OR DEATH, I SEARCHED THE WEB FOR AN ANSWER AND I FOUND THAT IF I TURN THE CAR OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES IT WOULD GO AWAY, I DID THAT AND THE ISSUE WENT AWAY FOR THE TIME BEING BUT IT HAS ALSO REOCCURRED NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE THEN.
FOR THAT LAST 9 MONTHS MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN COMING ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY. AT TIMES, IT FLASHES REALLY FAST BEFORE MY ENGINE STARTS MAKING A RUMBLING NOISE. IT HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE CHEVY SERVICE DEPARTMENT 4 TIMES WITH THEM DOING THE FOLLOWING: REPLACED SPARK PLUGS, FUEL INDUCTION SERVICE, NEW SENSOR BOX AND NEW WATER PUMP. THE PROBLEM STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. IT IS CURRENTLY AT ANOTHER CHEVY SERVICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT 15 MILES FROM ME. THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR 3 DAYS NOW AND STILL NO WORD AS TO WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES IT'S WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND IT STAYS ALL WHILE BEEN DRIVEN. WHEN THE LIGHT FLASHES AND THE VEHICLE MAKES THE RUMBLING NOISE IT IS WHILE BEING DRIVEN AND STATIONARY. THE RUMBLING NOISE WILL STOP ONCE I PULL OVER AND TURN OFF THE VEHICLE. BUT THE LIGHT COMES BACK ON.
VERY HARD TO STEER SAME AS COMPLAINT IN PICTURE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED DRAGGING AND SLIPPING INTO 3RD GEAR. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CONTINUED DRIVING TO HER DESTINATION. THE CONTACT CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER - ALL AMERICAN CHEVROLET, INC. (1255 NJ-35, MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ 07748, (732) 671-6200) AND MADE THE DEALER AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
The display on the speedometer is barely visible. It is called the Driver Information Center, but is attached to the speedometer. I am not able to see any information on it most of the time, particularly the day. The safety issue is I can not tell if my tires are to pressure, if my oil needs to be changed. I can not see the odometer. I have seen many people online have this issue. Someone's fix that seems to have worked for a few people is replacing the speedometer, which would be fine but then you have to get it reprogrammed by the dealer. Which is even more money for something that is essential to work in a car.
SERVICE AIR BAG MESSAGE ON DASH. IN MOTION, CITY STREET, HIGHWAY DRIVING. STOPPED, RESTARTED MESSAGE CAME ON.
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING WITH OUR THREE CHILDREN TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH. HER 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE SUDDENLY DROPPED TO APPROXIMATELY 5-10 MPH AND SHE WAS FORCED TO SWERVE OFF THE ROAD, NEARLY BEING REAR-ENDED AND SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AS WELL AS, THE ENGINE POWER REDUCED LIGHT. JUST AS SHE MADE IT TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD, THE CAR SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. SHE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO START THE CAR, BUT HAD NO SUCCESS. AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES OF BEING STRANDED ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WITH MY THREE CHILDREN, SHE WAS ABLE TO START THE CAR AND DRIVE TO THE NEAREST AREA TO SAFELY WAIT FOR A TOW TRUCK. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITHIN THE LAST FIVE MONTHS! WE HAVE TAKEN IT TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT MECHANICS, INCLUDING THE CHEVROLET DEALER, AND SPENT A LOT OF MONEY TRYING TO GET IT RESOLVED BUT HAVE HAD NO SUCCESS. WE WILL NO LONGER PUT OUR CHILDREN IN THE CAR WHICH WAS THE REASON WE PURCHASED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS CAR IS UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE AND NEEDS TO BE ISSUED A RECALL. MY ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL COMES ON AND OFF ITS LOOSE. I PUSH IT BACK IN POPS OUT. THE TCM FEMALE CONNECTOR/ADAPTOR IS FAULTY AND I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO BUY A COMPLETELY NEW HARNESS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. THE LOCKING MECHANISM DOESN'T HOLD IN PLACE SO IT LOSES CONNECTION TO THE TCM TRANS MODULE. AND WHEN I CONTACT MY LOCAL CHEVY DEALER THEY WANT ME TO BUT A NEW HARNESS WHICH I $600+++ AND THE CLIP/ADAPTER/CONNECTOR IS $22-$29. IF IM ON THE FREEWAY MY SPEED CAN DROP TO 20MPH. ON THE 215 FREEWAY. *TR
WAS AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT NEAR MY JOB WHEN MY CAR SUDDENLY SHUTS OFF, NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE SO AS I TRY TO RESTART IT WOULDN'T START AT ALL. I CAUSED A LOT OF TRAFFIC DUE TO THIS. LIVING IN NYC THAT'S A BIG NO NO. AS I LOOKED ON THE DASH WHILE KEEP TRYING TO GET IT TO START DIFFERENT LIGHT STARTED TO COME ON THE CAR WAS GOING OUT OF WACK. FINALLY A FOOD CART GUY SEEN ME AND HELPED ME OUT BY JUMPING MY CAR WITH HIS FOOD CART BATTERY TALK ABOUT EMBRASSING CHEVROLET NEEDS TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM, NEVER KNEW IT WAS A COMMON ISSUE UNTIL I GOOGLE AND THIS PROBLEM HAPPEN TO MANY PEOPLE BUT YET THERE'S NO RECALLS. there was a recall regarding air bags. was notified during COVID with part backordered. never heard back. I now have a warning on my dashboard that will prevent getting a new state inspection sticker. please advise
AFTER MAKING A RIGHT TURN WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC IN A SCHOOL ZONE TRACTION CONTROL WENT OFF THEN ON CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON SERVICE STABILITRAK FLASHED ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED FLASHED HAD TO PULL OVER AND RESTART CAR, ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ON ECM WAS REPLACED LESS THAN 3 YRS AGO FOR THE SAME THING AT ED MORSE SAWGRASS IN SUNRISE, FL
THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IN THE LAST 2 YEARS THAT THE AIRBAG INDICATOR HAS COME ON. VEHICLE JUST PASSED 60K MILES. THIS TIME THE ERROR CODE I WAS GIVEN B0022. ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS APPEAR TO BE DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE CONNECTORS UNDERNEATH THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS. I WILL NOW BE BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO BE RETURNED FOR THE 3RD AIRBAG PROBLEM. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF GM WOULD ADDRESS THIS.
I HAVE NOT BEEN IN ANY FORM OF ACCIDENT AND THERE HAS BEEN NO DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE, YET THIS MORNING, I STARTED MY CAR AND IMMEDIATELY, THE 'SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM' WARNING WAS DISPLAYED AND MY AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE LIGHT DID NOT TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF, WAITING, AND THEN ON AGAIN, THE SAME ERROR WARNING AND LIGHT BOTH DISPLAYED AGAIN.
MY 2014 CHEVY TRAVERSE HAS BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE FOR MONTHS NOW. I WILL BE DRIVING AND MY SERVICE STABILITRAK, TRACTION CONTROL OFF, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL LIGHT UP, AND ENGINE POWER REDUCED WILL POP UP. I CAN NOT GO OVER 20 MPH. AT TIMES THE ENGINE WILL BECOME VERY STALLY, JERKY, MY STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKES WILL BE VERY HARD TO USE. THESE ARE VERY RANDOM AND NON PATTERNED I WILL HAVE TO SAFELY PULL OVER RATHER IT BE ON A BACK ROAD OR A HIGHWAY WHEREVER IT HAPPENS TURN THE ENGINE OFF FOR 5-20 MINUTES AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY CLEAR EVERYTHING BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT; WHICH WILL CLEAR WITHIN THAT DAY OR THE NEXT UNTIL THE NEXT TIME IT HAPPENS. IT HAS ALSO CAUSE MY KEY TO LOCK UP IN THE IGNITION. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND SCARY. THIS IS MY FAMILY CAR AND WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND HURT MYSELF, MY KIDS, OR SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU GOOGLE THE ISSUE THERE ARE TONS OF FORUMS, WEBSITES, BLOGS THAT HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH THIS CAR. I HAVE SPENT NUMEROUS HOURS INVESTIGATING THE ISSUE, LOTS OF MONEY REPLACING PARTS AS RECOMMENDED OR BY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND IT CONTINUES TO DO THIS. GM IS GOING TO HAVE A LAWSUIT ON THEIR HANDS WHEN SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT OVER THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

WHILE DRIVING THE CAR I RECEIVED A AIRBAG WARNING AND SPEEDOMETER WENT TO ZERO. IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY ENTIRE DASHBOARD WENT DARK. CAR CONTINUED TO DRIVE WITH WORKING HEADLIGHTS. IT APPEARED TO RESET SEVERAL TIMES AND THEN WOULD WORK FINE FOR A WHILE. BEFORE THE SAME PROBLEM WOULD COME BACK. THIS TIME WITHOUT THE AIR BAG WARNING. HAPPENED IN SNOWY WET CONDITIONS. BLIND ZONE SYSTEM NEEDS SERVICE, CAUSING BLINKERS TO NOT WORK, STEERING COLUMN FAILED AND RADIO QUIT WORKING
I HAD MY SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT COME ON AND HAS STAYED ON AND HAD A CODER RAN ON IT AT MY LOCAL CHEVY DEALER . THEY SAID THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE DRIVER SEATBELT TRIGGERING IT.
2014 TRAVERSE WILL SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN AND NOT MOVE. FLASHES SERVICE STABILITRAC, TRACTION CONTROL OFF, REDUCED ENGINE POWER. MY VEHICLE HAS SHUT DOWN MULTIPLE TIMES INCLUDING DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WITH MY TWO CHILDREN IN THE CAR. AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF AND FINALLY BEING ABLE TO TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN, I AM ABLE TO GET THE TRACTION CONTROL TO SAY ON AND TO MOVE MY CAR. THIS LAST TIME THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND MY CAR WOULDN'T START FOR ALMOST 10 MINUTES, WITH ME AND MY CHILDREN SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION.
IT KEEPS SAYING SERVICE AIRBAGS THE FIRST TIME IT DID THIS TWO WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE WE TOOK IT BACK TO DEALER IN SIKESTON AND THE REPLACE CONNECTOR UNDER SEAT WHICH COST US 800 DOLLARS NOW FOR MONTHS LATER LIGHT IS BACK ON AND WITH THIS LIGHT ON THE AIRBAGS ARE DISABLED WHICH IS A BIG SAFETY PROBLEM FOR MY FAMILY THE ISSUE NEEDS BE FIXED BECAUSE OF SAFETY REASONS ALSO A COSTLY REPAIR BILL CAR HAS ONLY 70 THOUSAND MILES WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED WITH MY VEHICLE IT HAPPENED IT SEPTEMBER AND NOW IN DECEMBER BOTH TIMES YOU START THE VEHICLE IT COMES ON AN WILL NOT GO OFF WITHOUT COSTLY REPAIR THAT SHOULD NOT BE CHARGE FOR SAFETY ISSUES WITH VEHICLE
THE STABILITRAK SERVICE WARNING FLASHES. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, IT REDUCES THE POWER OF THE ENGINE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHUT DOWN. THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION AND NOW IT WON'T START AT ALL.

THIS HAPPENS FREQUENTLY AT ANY MOMENT AND NOW I AM UNABLE TO START IT BACK UP. I WAS TOLD BY PEP BOYS THAT IT IS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, WITH CODES READING A SHORTAGE IN THE FUSE BOX. I CHECKED THE WEB FOR ANY RECALLS AND SAW THAT OTHERS WERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES, YET NO RECALLS. THIS IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE MY VEHICLE STOPS AT ANY MOMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF A DRIVE, EVEN ON THE HIGHWAY. NOW I AM WITHOUT RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IN MY 2014 TRAVERSE. I LOVE MY VEHICLE, BUT GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE.

THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND STAYED ON
DRIVING THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND THE VEHICLE JUST CUT OFF ON THE INTERSTATE AND THE TRACTION CONTROL TURNED OFF. I WAS ABLE TO CATCH THE EXIT AND MAKE IT TO THE SIDE. IT WOULD NOT START. IT FINALLY STARTED AND I WAS ABLE TO GO TWO MILES WHERE IT CUT OFF AGAIN, HOLDING UP MORNING SCHOOL AND WORK TRAFFIC ON THE TWO LANE ROAD. THERE WAS NO SHOULDER TO PULL OFF TO. I JUST READ WHERE THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH A SHORT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM THAT CAUSES THE CAR TO JUST SHUT OFF. I PUT MY VIN NUMBER IN THE RECALL DATABASE TO SEE WHAT TO DO AND IT TELLS ME MY CAR IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND I FEAR FOR MY FAMILY KNOWING THESE TYPES OF ISSUES EXIST.

CODE P16820. 2ND TIME IT HAPPENED AT A STOP LIGHT. CAR WILL NOT GO MORE THAN 10 MILES AN HOUR. ENGINE RUNS CHOPPY LIKE IT'S GOING TO STALL. AFTER CAR WAS SHUT OFF OVERNIGHT, IT RESET AND RAN NORMAL EXCEPT ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. DEALER CAN'T FIND ANY ISSUE. CAN'T RECREATE. SEE ON YOUTUBE THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY OTHERS.
