CAR WRECK DAMAGE IMPACT BY OTHER DRIVER HIT HEAD FRONT OF VEHICLE, CAUSED DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE DOORS TO NOT OPEN, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS AND REAR EXTERIOR LIGHTING RETAINED WATER EACH TIME IT RAINED BETWEEN THE BODY AND BULBS. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE WATER INSIDE THE LIGHT BULBS COULD CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BELLAVIA CHEVROLET BUICK (199 NJ-17, EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ 07073, (201) 355-2885) WHERE THE LIGHT BULBS WERE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED BEFORE THE CONTACT ARRIVED HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED BECAUSE THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 24,351.
I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT TODAY WITH 2 OF MY 5 CHILDREN NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED! AND WITH HOW HARD WE GOT HIT THEY SHOULD HAVE. WE WERE STOPPED GETTING READY TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ON A CITY STREET
AC STARTED BLOWING HOT AIR AT 36K MILES. WAS SITTING STILL IN PARK WHEN I NOTICED. MY GIRLS WERE CRYING AND I GOT OUT AND CHECKED THE REAR VENTS. SURE ENOUGH, HOT AIR. FRONT AC BLOWS COLD, BUT REAR BLOWS HOT AIR AND WHEN IT'S 90+ DEGREES OUT AND MY 3 DAUGHTERS ARE IN THE BACK SWEATING, ONE A NEWBORN, I THINK THAT'S PRETTY HAZARDOUS. YOU CAN'T LEAVE SOMEONE IN A VEHICLE WITH THE AIR OFF, LET ALONE BLOWING HOT AIR IN THE MIDDLE OF FULL BLOWN SUMMER. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, "THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE, BUT THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL, AND THEREFORE CHEVROLET, NOR GM WILL HAVE NO PART IN HELPING WITH REPAIRS AND/OR REPLACEMENTS". I'M DISGUSTED, AS, I HAVE ONLY HAD THE VEHICLE UNDER 4 MONTHS. MY WIFE AND I ARE LITERALLY HEARTBROKEN. WE POUR OUR LIVES INTO OUR JOBS, AND SPENDING IT ON A NEWER VEHICLE THAT HAS NO AC FOR OUR GIRLS. THIS WAS PART OF WHY WE GOT A CHEVROLET, BECAUSE OF THE RENOWNED NAME. THE FIRST TIME MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND THEN ONE DAY WAS NOT ON. JUST RECENTLY ON 5/15/19 MY SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AT ALL. MY WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID WILL NOT DISPERSE AS WELL WIPER ARM HAND WAS REPLACED LINES WERE CHECKED AND FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR AND STILL NO FLUID AVAILABLE WHICH AFFECTS VISIBILITY WHEN ANYTHING SPLASHING ON THE WINDSHIELD. THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON SUDDENLY ONE DAY WHEN I STARTED UP MY CAR.
ALL 4 TIRES SLOWLY LEAK AND HAVE TO BE FILLED BACK UP VERY OFTEN. WHEN I FIRST GOT IT THE TIRES WERE BRAND NEW AND I HAD TO FILL THEM EVERY MONTH NOW I HAVE TO FILL THEM EVERY 2 WEEKS OR SOONER.
A YEAR AGO, I WENT TO PERFORM THE YEARLY INSPECTION FOR THIS CAR AND IT FAILED THE READINESS TEST. THIS YEAR WAS THE SAME (REF. NYVIP2 RECORD NUMBER [XXX]- FACILITY-APPLE AUTO & TRUCK -#7098325-PHONE [XXX]. IT WAS SUGGESTED BY THE TECHNICIAN TO RUN THE VEHICLE FOR 70 MILES AT OVER 50 MILES AN HOUR STEADILY. I BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE A MORE EFFICIENT WAY TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION WITHOUT DOING THIS. FOR SAFETY REASONS, DOING THIS IN NEW YORK IS NOT AN EASY TASK. I NEED YOUR HELP. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR INTERMITTENTLY ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MALOUF CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 2060 US-130, DAYTON, NJ 08810, (732) 940-0400) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FLEMINGTON CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 211 US-202, FLEMINGTON, NJ 08822, (908) 782-3331) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FIRST MECHANIC FAILED TO PROPERLY INSTALL THE WIRING. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I HEARD A WHINE NOISE WHEN TURNING TO THE RIGHT TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THEY SAID IT WAS HARD TO FIND BUT THE POWER STEERING HOSE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 47000 MILES. THE NOISE ACTUALLY STARTED AROUND 37000 MILES BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS JUST MY IMAGINATION THEY COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM. NOW I DO SOME RESEARCH AND FIND IT'S A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH TRAVERSES AND THE DEALER STILL ACTS LIKE THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN IT HAPPEN BEFORE. JUST NEED TO GET IT ON RECORD IN CASE THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT ALL TOGETHER LIKE SOME OTHERS HAVE. A KNOWN PROBLEM I WOULD SAY.
EXCESSIVE LEAKS IN POWER STEERING LINES. CAR IS 3 YRS/8 MONTHS WITH 65,000 MILES.
POWER STEERING PUMP - VEHICLE IS 4 YEARS OLD AND HAS ONLY 42,000+ MILES AND THE PUMP DROPPED FLUID AND QUIT WORKING. I WAS IN TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY DURING FAILURE AND IT POSED A DEFINITE SAFETY RISK AS IT MADE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER RESEARCHING THE ISSUE, IT IS APPARENT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THESE VEHICLES AND A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED.
THE LOW BEAM/DRIVING LIGHTS STOP WORKING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN. THIS OCCURS ALTERNATELY AND INTERMITTENTLY. THIS ISSUE CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH VISIBILITY FOR DRIVER AND OTHERS.
THE SERVICE AIR BAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON. I HAVE TO MOVE THE WIRING UNDER PASSENGER SEAT FOR IT TO RESET. WHEN EVER I START THE CAR, SOMETIMES IT GOES ON WHEN THE REAR LIFTGATE IS CLOSED.
THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID MECHANISM ON TOP OF THE HOOD ALONG WITH THE FUSE IS FAULTY. FUSE AS WELL AS MECHANISM MOTOR HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND STILL NO WATER WILL COME OUT TO CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD. THE AIR BAG LIGHT IS NOW ON ALL OF A SUDDEN STATING TO SERVICE AIRBAGS.
ACCELERATING UP A SMALL HILL GOING 45 MPH, VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE AND SLOW TO ABOUT 25 MPH, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS FLASHING, CHECK STABILITRAK SYSTEM MESSAGE SHOWED AS WELL AS "TRACTION CONTROL OFF". I PUSHED THE TRACTION CONTROL BUTTON UNTIL IT CAME BACK ON BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL FLASHING. AFTER A FEW MINUTES EVERYTHING WAS FINE AGAIN. COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DANGEROUS IF IT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE. AFTER SOME RESEARCH IT SEEMS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE TRAVERSE!
RECENTLY THE SERVICE AIR BAG WARNING CAME ON AND STAYS ON , I THINK I WAS JUST SITTING STILL WHEN IT HAPPENED,
MY SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON PERIODICALLY. AND STAYS ON FOR DAYS THEN STAYS OFF FOR DAYS.

THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY THE SAME DEALER JIM PRICE CHEVROLET, 2150 SEMINOLE TRAIL, ROUTE 29 N, CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA 22901, WHEN THE AIR BAGS WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED THE SUMMER OF 2019. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 109,000. VIN UNAVAILABLE.
AIR BAG SIGNAL AND HIGHWAYS PUSH ME TO RIGHT SIDE
WHEN PULLING INTO A GAS STATION DOING APPROXIMATELY 5MPH, THE DRIVER AND BOTH DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED UNEXPECTEDLY. THE DRIVERS SIDE SEATBELT ALSO LOCKED UP AND CAN NO LONGER BE USED. NOTHING WAS HIT IN ORDER TO CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN.
PURCHASED A 2015 CHEVY TRAVERSE THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND IT'S LEAKING. THIS VEHICLE IS ONLY 3.5YRS OLD THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! IT'S EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHEN YOU HAVE TWO CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE!! THE NOISE WAS GRINDING AND WHINING, YOU COULD NOT TURN THE VEHICLE IF YOU WERE REVERSING. AND TRYING TO DRIVE FORWARD AND TURNING ONTO ANOTHER ROAD WAS VERY HARD. THIS IS NOT NORMAL AND THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL!!
AS I WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND THEN WENT AWAY AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS. JUST RECENTLY THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON AFTER A LITTLE OVER A MONTH.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle speed unintendedly decelerated to 25 MPH. During the failure the message "Traction Off", "Engine Power Reduce" and "Stabili-trac" were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who replaced the accelerator pedal sensor on several occasions, but the failure had eventually reoccurred. The vehicle was recently taken to the local dealer who was unable to reproduce the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 67,206.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, I NOTICED MY SEATBELT SUDDENLY FELT LOOSE ON THE LAP PORTION. I REACHED DOWN TO ADJUST AND THE PORTION THAT CONNECTS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEAT WAS SPLIT IN HALF.
THE ENTIRE POWER STEERING SYSTEM FAILED WITH LEAKS IN THE RACK AND PINION BOX, THE PUMP AND THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE. THE CAR IS ONLY 3.5 YEARS OLD AND HAS 40,000 MILES.
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED GOING ABOUT 50MPH AND HIT A TREE IN MY YARD, THEN THE FRONT END LIFTED OFF THE GROUND AND THE CAR RACED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO MY FRIEND'S CAR. THEY BOTH HIT MY PICKUP TRUCK ALSO. ALL 3 VEHICLES ARE A TOTAL LOSS. FROM THE NEIGHBORS WHO OBSERVED THIS, IT'S A MIRACLE I WASN'T BADLY INJURED. ALSO I HAVE A TEAR IN MY ACHILLES TENDON ON RIGHT FOOT SO IN NO WAY COULD I HAVE MASHED ON ACCELERATOR
I WAS SLOWLY BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY 2015 TRAVERSE ACCELERATED TO 40-50 MILES PER HOUR TO MY HORROR. I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE INDY 500. THE CAR BACKED INTO A TREE IN MY FRONT YARD, THEN AT THE SAME HIGH SPEED LIFTED OFF THE GROUND AND RACED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO 2 PARKED CARS IN MY BACK YARD. HAD THE 2 PARKED CARS NOT STOPPED ME MY NEIGHBORS FEEL I WOULD HAVE GONE INTO THE LAKE IN MY BACK YARD. MY AIR BAG DID NOT GO OFF, YET THE ONE IN THE EMPTY PARKED CAR DID GO OFF. ALL 3 VEHICLES WERE A TOTAL LOSS.
LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE POWER STEERING AREA WHEN I ACCELERATED AND TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL . THIS HAPPENS WHEN I WANTED TO PARK MY CAR. I JUST CHANGED WATER SENSORS , AND NOW IT HAS THE EVAPE ERROR . THAT NOT REALLY GOOD FOR UNDER 60000 MILE CAR, ITS NOT NORMAL

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
EVERYTIME I PUT FUEL IN MY 2015 TRAVERSE.. THE VEHICLE HESITATES TO START. IT'S A SCARY FEELING WHEN MY 3 CHILDREN ARE IN THE CAR, SO I NEVER PUMP FUEL WITH MY KIDS JUST INCASE I HAVE TO WALK HOME.
TRACTION SERVICE / STABILITRAK SERVICE LIGHT COMES ON. ENGINE POWER REDUCED. DRIVING AROUND AT FULL SPEED ON THE HIGHWAY. IT CUTS ME BACK TO 25MPH. I DRIVE MY SIBLINGS ON THE CAR. IT'S REALLY NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT HAPPENING ON A PRETTY RECENTLY NEW CAR.
MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION GOING 40 MPH ON THE I-17 FREEWAY AND WAS REAR ENDED BY A VEHICLE GOING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH UPON IMPACT ALL SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS AND DRIVER SEAT AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED AFTER DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGERS WERE THROWN FORWARD DURING THE ACCIDENT UPON OUR BODIES BEING THROWN BACK AGAINST THE SEATS THE SEATS BOTH FELL INTO RECLINE POSITIONS ON TOP OF OUR TWO CHILDREN IN THE CENTER ROW BUCKET SEATS. OUR SEATS FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE IMPACT OF OUR BODIES AND KEEP US UPRIGHT PROTECTING US FROM INJURY AND NECK AND BACK WHIPLASH.
I OPENED MY POWER LIFT GATE USING MY KEY FAB. AFTER PUTTING ITEMS IN THE BACK, I PUSHED THE CLOSE BUTTON LOCATED ON THE LIFT GATE. I THOUGHT I HAD LEFT MY KEYS LAYING INSIDE WITH THE ITEMS I HAD JUST PLACED IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE. KNOWING THAT THE SENSORS WOULD READ THAT MY ARM WOULD BLOCK THE DOOR FROM CLOSING, I COULD RETRIEVE MY KEYS. AS IT CONTINUED TO CLOSE, I REALIZED THAT IT WAS NOT RECOGNIZING MY ARM. AS I TRIED TO PULL MY ARM AWAY FROM THE DOOR, IT CAUGHT MY THUMB AND CRUSHED IT. IT REMAINED CLOSED IN THE BACK HATCH UNTIL HELP ARRIVED TO OPEN IT WITH THE KEYS. I WENT TO MY DR AND RECEIVED XRAYS. I FRACTURED MY THUMB AND AM CURRENTLY RECEIVING PHYSICAL THERAPY TREATMENT. I AM CONSTANTLY IN PAIN. WHEN I CONTACTED GENERAL MOTORS, I WAS BRUSHED OFF.
I BOUGHT A CERTIFIED CHEVROLET TRAVERSE AND THE POWER STEERING PUMP WENT OUT AT 59,520 MILES AND COST ME WITH HOSES AND FLUSH OF FUEL SYSTEM FROM KUNI CHEVROLET 3,051.85. I BOUGHT THE CAR MAY 7, 2016. POWER STEERING PUMP SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY BUT THEY STATED WARRANTY RAN OUT AT 45,183 MILES. THIS HAS BEEN A COMMON ISSUE WITH CHEVY TRAVERSE AND NEEDS TO BE SET AS A RECALL. CAR WAS SQUEALING AND MAKING GRINDING NOISES
VEHICLE WILL SUDDENLY DECELERATE, WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND NOTIFICATIONS THAT TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF, AND STABILITRAK IS OFF. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE ONCE WHILE DRIVING (STRAIGHT ON 25MPH ROAD) ONCE-MOST RECENT- WHILE IDLING AT A STOP LIGHT. AFTER FIRST TIME, HAD VEHICLE SERVICED AND HAD A PURGE VALVE REPLACED PER COMPUTER ERROR CODE. VEHICLE IS AWAITING SERVICE AGAIN. TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE, SHUT OFF IS REQUIRED (TWO TIMES) BUT ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 36,000 MILES. WEATHER WAS FAIR BOTH DAYS-OVERCAST, BUT ROADS WERE DRY. VEHICLE HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO A VERY WET SUMMER, PREVIOUSLY A WINTER WITH A LOT OF SALT AND ANTI-SKID TREATMENTS. VEHICLE DOES NOT TRAVEL MUCH OTHER THAN TO MY CHILD'S SCHOOL AND BASIC ERRANDS. ONLY IN MY POSSESSION 2 YEARS AS OF JULY.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRICAL STEERING SYSTEM FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TAKEN TO FERMAN CHEVROLET OF TAMPA (LOCATED AT 9751 E ADAMO DR, TAMPA, FL 33619, (813) 623-2411), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 8-4636845588. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
TAKATA RECALL. MY AIRBAG SENSOR WILL COME ON AND STAY ON FOR A FEW DAYS. THEN AFTER A FEW DAYS IT WILL ONLY COME ON ONCE IN A WHILE AND A FEW DAYS AFTER THAT IT WON'T COME ON ALL. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF I AM DRIVING OR STOPPED ON ON ANY SURFACE AT ANY SPEED.
AIR BAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON EVEN AFTER TAKING IT TO DEALERSHIP TO GET THE RECALL FIXED. DEALERSHIP TEAM SAYS IT IS FIXED BUT LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON. I'M NOT SURE IF THE MAINTENANCE TEAM HAS REALLY FIXED THE RECALL OR THEY ARE JUST RESETTING THE ALERT.

THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS SERVICED BY THE DEALER ON FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
THE AIR CONDITIONER BEGAN EMITTING COLD AIR ON DRIVERS SIDE, AND WARM AIR ON PASSENGER SIDE AUG 2018. DEALER SAID REAR EVAPORATOR COIL LEAKING DUE TO CORROSION. CAR ONLY 3 YEARS OLD. REPLACEMENT PARTS $1,254 AND REPLACEMENT PARTS ONLY GUARANTEED FOR 2 YEARS. GM NEEDS TO USE METAL PARTS THAT DON'T CORRODE, AS COIL IS LOCATED UNDER THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF THE REAR PASSENGER WHEEL. POOR ENGINEERING AS IT WILL GET LOTS OF CORROSIVE SPRAY WITH NO WAY TO CLEAN IT AS IT IS SURROUNDED BY A METAL PLATE WITH SMALL HOLES. THIS PART SHOULD BE ENCLOSED SOMEHOW AWAY FROM CORROSIVE ROAD SPRAY. I THINK A RECALL IS IN ORDER, AND REIMBURSEMENT FROM GM TO ME BECAUSE OF POOR ENGINEERING DESIGN.

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INSTANCES THAT HAVE INVOLVED SERVICE STABILITREK/SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS COMING ON ALONG WITH ENGINE POWER REDUCING WARNING. I'VE LOST POWER AND HAD SPEED DRAMATICALLY REDUCE PUTTING ME IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS. WHEN THIS HAPPENS I AM NOT ABLE TO ACCELERATE AND VEHICLE SLOWS TO A STOP. FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED I WAS ON A CITY STREET GOING ABOUT 40 MPH, SECOND TIME I HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF THE FREEWAY AND WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN. I LOST STEERING IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER PROBLEMS MENTIONED. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES FOR THIS ISSUE AND IT WILL BE GOING BACK TOMORROW AS MY HUSBAND HAD THIS HAPPEN AGAIN TONIGHT WHEN EXITING THE FREEWAY. THE THINGS THE DEALERSHIP HAS DONE HAVE NOT RESOLVED THE ISSUE. FIRST TIME I TOOK IT THEY SAID A HOSE HAD COME LOOSE AND ENGINE MOUNT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE SECOND TIME I TOOK IT THEY REPLACED A SENSOR. THIRD TIME I TOOK IT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY CODES INDICATING WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND THE CAR DID NOT ACT UP WHEN THEY TOOK IT OUT FOR A DRIVE. CAR IS ALSO SHIFTING FORCEFULLY WHEN I AM TRAVELING ON THE FREEWAY GOING AROUND 65 MPH. IT ALSO DOES THIS WHEN CRUISE CONTROL IS ON.
AS I WAS DRIVING MY CAR STARTED TO STUTTER AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT AND SOMETHING ABOUT THE STABILIZER NEEDS FIXED, REDUCED ENGINE POWER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
MY POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING WHILE DRIVING, I MANAGED TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. I TURNED BACK ON AND POWER STEERING WAS BACK. THE FOLLOWING DAY I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER BECAUSE THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS LEAKING AND SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. UNFORTUNATELY THE DEALER TOLD ME IT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND I HAD TO HAVE IT REPLACED. I PAID FOR THE REPAIR AND NOW JUST A FEW WEEKS LATER THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING. I HAVE THE VEHICLE SCHEDULED TO GO INTO THE SHOP AGAIN ON MONDAY.
WHILE DRIVING, THE INTERIOR LIGHTS SHUT OFF AND MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOSES POWER. NO MATTER HOW HARD I PRESS ON THE GAS, THE VEHICLE DOES NOT RESPOND. CERTAIN SERVICE SIGNS ALSO APPEAR AND THEY ARE 'SERVICE STABILITRAK,' SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL,' 'TRACTION CONTROL OFF,' AND 'PARK ASSIST OFF.' THIS IS DANGEROUS AS I WAS DRIVING THROUGH A FAIRLY BUSY STREET WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND HAD TO PHYSICALLY NOTIFY THE DRIVER COMING TOWARDS ME TO STOP. OTHERWISE, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN T-BONED! THIS HAPPENED TWICE. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED, THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE APPEARED, THEY CLEARED IT AND TEST DROVE IT AND IT WAS FINE. HOWEVER, A MONTH LATER, IT DID IT AGAIN. HUGE LIABILITY HERE! DURING BOTH INCIDENTS, I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE, GOING STRAIGHT AHEAD.

DRIVER SIDE REAR BRAKE PAD RETAINER DEFECTIVE. PART IS MADE SO THAT THE BRAKE PADS DO NOT MOVE SO THAT YOU GET SEVERE PAD WEAR, SAME AS IF YOU HAD A FROZEN CALIPER. DEALER DID NOTHING TO FIX IT. MY BROTHER HAD A 2016 AND THE OTHER SIDE DID THE SAME THING. I ALSO NOTICED MY FRIENDS 2019 BLAZER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN'T FIND ONE TO REPLACE IT SO I GROUND THE ENDS OF THE PADS SO THEY COULD MOVE FREELY. OTHER INDICATION IS SPONGY FEEL STOPPING THE CAR.
