When i drive my 2011 Chrysler 200 , When i got weight or put passengers in the back seats or weight in the trunk the rear of car sways or make excessive jerks to the right and left, even on dry surfaces . Also , makes a loud cracking or popping sounds even when it is a small bump . It feels like the rearend is falling out . All i know is i've had it checked at 4 different places and they haven't been able to find any problems . This is a situation that could cause me to be in a serious accident or worse could cause fatalities !!!!!!!!! I 've also had this aligned and this still continues to happen everytime I drive this vehicle !!!!!
2011 Chrysler 200, 156k miles, Original owner. At Highway Speeds engine will shut off! Extremely dangerous as you lose power steering and brakes on a busy interstate. No warning lights. No check engine. Issue just started happening and has happened multiple times in last 3 weeks. Car is unsafe to drive. After occurrence car will restart after about 30 minutes. I do not know why NHTSA or Chrysler hasn't done anything to initiate an investigation and recall. This issue is widely reported on many forums. After second instance, a repair shop reproduced issue and saw U1403 so they updated PCM/ECU as they couldn't find anything else. It has happened since then and my scanner showed DTC codes P061C status code 30 and U0401 status code 20.
Approximately [XXX] on [XXX] I was driving from my home to a doctors appointment on [XXX] in Tampa Florida. Approximately 8 mins from my home. The roads were in desperate need of repair with patchy potholes uneven pavement. I was going approximately 30 to 35 miles an hour that is the speed limit for this road as I was going over I hit one of the shallow holes in the road when that happened. the car bounced, and the headset exploded into the back of my head.!! it startled me, but not enough to cause an accident. ABS, Parking brake and traction control systems error items showing on dash. These error items indicate that the ABS module needs to be replaced, however Chrysler can no longer supply this part and the dealer has said that they have tried unsuccessfully to install a used part and also am after market part which would not work.
While driving at high speeds 60 to 75 miles per hour and going up an upgrade, the transmission starts to buck violently which causes the driver lose concentration and possible control. I have to shift the transmission into manual mode and select a lower gear to gain control. Dealer service said software is up to date and transmission is working fine when reported after purchasing car. I have not been able to resolve this problem and feel it is a design issue. I am limited to slower speed driving due to this problem. Still have this problem and it occurs consistently and can be demonstrated.
I BOUGHT A 2011 CHRYSLER 200 SEDAN IN THE SUMMER OF 2021. IN DECEMBER OF2021, I TOOK MY CAR TO A DEALERSHIP BECAUSE MY HEATER DIDN'T WORK. UPON THEIR DIAGNOSIS, THEY SAID I HAD A BAD HEATER CORE. BECAUSE I HAD JUST PURCHASED THE CAR, THEY AGREED TO TAKE OFF $400 OFF THE REPAIR. IT STILL COST ME $1100.00. FAST FORWARD TWO YEARS AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. UNFORTUNATELY, THE WARRANTY EXPIRED 1 MONTH EARLIER. I BELIEVE THIS IS BAD DESIGNED UNIT. UPON RESEARCHING PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR, IT COMES UP AS A PRETTY COMMON OCCURANCE. I KNOW THEY DON'T BUILD THIS VEHICLE ANYMORE. I BELIEVE CHRYSLER SHOULD'VE COME UP WITH A DESIGN FIX FOR THIS.
The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the instrument panel went dim and the radio became inoperable. The contact also stated that the headlights were flickering while driving. The contact related the failure with the NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V282000 (Electrical System, Air Bags) however, the vehicle was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or local dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Car has been stalling during deceleration, braking and at stops. The issue was fixed only in one model when multiple years of this make and model was doing the same thing. The issue started in 2011 and was supposed to be addressed in 2012 but the actual recall to fix it was actually only for 2015 but I almost got into an accident by stalling. I bought the car & it started some days later in which the seller assumed it was fixed. After taking it to pep boys and getting other repairs it resulted in a $2k repair and its still stalling at stops and when slowing down. Why was the issue only fixed in 2015 models if it was made aware in 2011-2012? Those models would need that recall repair also. I have not been able to drive it continuously without it cutting off for a full day and nobody can figure out why because no codes are coming up. When researching I found a forum where it was suggested this was a major issue that was never rectified by Chrysler. They closed the investigation but did not service all cars with this issue.
My daughter rear ended a car and totaled my Chrysler 200. The front of the car is destroyed but the air bags never deployed. I allowed my daughter to drive this car thinking it had all the safety features and it did, they just don’t work.
I already have a compliant from back in January of 2022 and original incident date of December 2021. I am still having the same issue with the engine stalling while driving. This keeps happening on highways. At this point the government and Chrysler are a joke. This is supposed to be highway safety yet you guys are letting us with Chryslers deal with this and put our life at risk. Not everyone has the ability to have another car to drive, or just has money to trade their vehicle in. I dont get how this "problem" was so called fixed yet EVERYONE IS HAVING THE ISSUE STILL. Wasting thousands of dollar to not find a solution. If something happens to me because of this I promise you I will sue NHTSA and Chrysler Dealer and make sure I make you guys just a miserable as we Chrysler owners are.
I own a 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible. This vehicle has a huge problem with the convertible top latching system. When I try to close the top, the latches do not come out and therefore the top doesn't latch closed and there remains about a 2-3 inch gap that makes the car dangerous to drive in that position. Thereby making you have to drive with the top down. Then, when I called "ALL" my local Chrysler dealerships, they all say that they don't work on that specific problem. If not the dealership, then who? It's absolutely insane that Chrysler can straight up refuse to fix a known issue with one of their vehicles. I feel that this issue should be listed as a recall as hundreds, if not thousands, of customers have complained of the same issue.
The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle lost motive power. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle occasionally failed to start-up as needed. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 149,000.
2022 Winter - Had to spend 2,000.00 replace the Heater Core. This should of been covered in my books. I called Damion Chrysler to report this issue. They claimed they were not aware of such an issue. But if you look at all the reviews they say factory left extra gunck/sealer is why the heater quit blowing hot air on one side. 2023 Summer - Now my A/C isn't blowing cold air. But gargage was able to locate the leak and repair this. Have had both Drivers & Passengar Window Motors/Regulators replaced 2020 - 2022 Now in 2023 same issue with my back windows. Had power to it so replaced the Master Power Switch with a 200.00 new switch.
My car will die sometimes upon acceleration and does not restart for up to an hour sometime. No check engine light comes on. From my research online, a lot of people are having the same issue and are reporting it to be a faulty PCM (Powertrain Control Module). My RPM drops to zero and I have to coast to the shoulder of the road. It happens at least once a week.
The vehicle repeatedly stalls out when coming to a stop or when sitting at a stop light or in traffic, and has also shut off while driving at higher speeds on the freeway. This has put myself and passengers in danger, as power steering goes out when the engine is off and braking becomes much harder. The car will not turn back on if the problem occurs at higher speeds, but will turn back on if it occurs at lower speeds and stops. I have taken the car to several shops and they have confirmed this is an issue but cannot pinpoint what exactly is causing it, which has gotten to be very costly. I have yet to take it to the dealership for their insight into the issue. There are no warning lights on the dash, and the only slight codes I have in the system are unrelated to the way the car would drive as explained by the mechanics at the shops I have taken it to.
On 4 occasion my vehicle stopped running on the road with no warning. Was unaware anything even happened until i stepped in the gas. Light still on, radio still on, no power steering. Difficult to get off road. Unable to start again for about 45 minutes. Had serviced every time this happened, no codes noted for anything wrong. Had multiple things replaced without resolution. Started investigating my self and see that 6/2012 investigation opened due to faulty PCM and closed on 9/2012 by NHTSA after an update and customer service satisfaction program for 2011-2013 models with 3.6L. I have never received any recall. I am afraid to put my children in my car anymore because you have no control of your vehicle when this happens. Why is this recall not available when I search for it? Thank you.
i will be driving at the speed limit and the vehicle engine will turn off. power steering and control of the vehicle will stop. the car will not restart leaving me stranded on the road. this appears to be an issue that others are reporting. there is NO check engine light or any notification that the engine is about to stop.

The car begins to buck hard and drive sluggish on the highway around 45 miles per hour. And when stopped idle at the light stalls regularly. I took it to the dealer and they had me replace the cam shift sensor. The repair did not work. It continues to stall
On multiple occasions, the car will stall while driving, locking up the whole system and forcing the driver to coast to the side of the road. The car will not restart for 30-40 minutes while you sit stranded on the side of the road. Searches on the car reveal this is not the only one it is happening to. This needs to be investigated as a car stalling on the freeway in 0 degree weather is a major hazard.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
Yesterday, when I was dropping Christmas, presents off to my son at his moms' house. My 2011 Chrysler 200, Convertible limited with 3.6L v6 Pentastar flex-fuel motor. temp gauge went all the way up into Red. Which had to cross lanes on highway so I could get off on the freeway ramp. which I made it a block and the car stalled in below-freezing temps with no heat figuring out what to do as I get out of the vehicle I noticed brown motor oil bubbling and gushing out a Coolant reservoir With oil streaks all the way down passenger side car including through rims. I researched flaws and issues that Chrysler acknowledges, like that class-action lawsuit for vehichlwes not covered under extended vehicles that have the same issue, and problems Also how come even tho my vehicle 2011 Chrysler is not covered when covered is 2012 - 2017 even thos my car motor is identical as 2012 - 2013 Which was the first generation with faulty Oil cooler. or when they used sand casting molds to make cylinder heads which some of the sand stayed and circulated through the system, Causing oil cooler lines and coolant passageways. Pretty much was left stranded in freezing below temps with a car where motor oil spueling out of coolant overflow tank, over the windshield where I could barely see when trying to pull over. also oil all down passenger side of vehicle wet from front to back . not to mention other faults with the multi systems. My engine is misfiring out of the clear blue. And when I say misfire I mean my vehicle will literally shut off mid-drive as you’re in traffic. Everything completely shuts off and the wheel will lock up. So if you’re not somewhere where you can pull over a pile up will ensue. I have taken it to a shop when the car cut off on the highway for the 3rd with what I thought was the issue. I spent large amounts of money for the shutting off to continue. When I picked it up from the shop the car shut off again about two weeks later or so. I brought it back to the same place and they took my car for the day to see what the issue could be. They gave it back and told me they have no idea why the car keeps shutting off and they have done all they possibly could. This problem could’ve have caused multiple accidents as most of the incidents have resulted of loss of power on the highway. To be going at a steady speed with other cars around you and suddenly shut off can cause everyone including myself to be injured if not worse. This is a common problem among these vehicles as I have read up on and no one has done anything about it. This is scary and something needs to be done. These brand cars are discontinued and I can only imagine why. This is ridiculous that I’m risking my life everyday because I don’t know if this will be the day an accident happens. Consumer stated on Feb 9th at 653am consumer was driving with my 3 year old nephew and the car was completely cut off in the middle of traffic. Unfortunately the car took over 3 hours to decide to start again. Happened again on Feb 17th, 2022.
Driving on highway when driver side seat head rest deployed and smached me hard on back of my head, almost caused an accident on freeway by me swerving into next lane without caution. No car accident. No one was hurt other than me the driver of this vehicle cause of the head rest that deployed on me while driving on freeway. There's a recall on this type of vehicle but not the same year as mine. Why not? Don't understand.
When I start my car the airbag, slippery or skid resistant and the anti-locking brake instruments comes on periodically and then goes out; the radio stop working, has no control of the steering wheel it wouldn't steered correctly yesterday and it wouldn't go in any gear except park. go in park.
1) The engine suddenly cut off, power braking and power steering were gone. This happens randomly under any circumstances, with absolutely no precursors. The car will not start for about an hour, and after that time it starts with absolutely no issues, no check engine light, nothing. Yes, it is available for inspection upon request. 2) While driving on the highway at about 65mph, all power was lost, and ability to control the car was extremely limited, and this happened multiple times. Only by pure fortune I avoided a fatal crash when the car died in rush hour. 3) After the first time this has happened the car was taken to a mechanic, and they were not able to replicate the issue under any circumstances that they tried, and there was nothing wrong with the car that would warrant this, as it has never been in an accident, and was well maintained. 5) No, has not been inspected by anyone besides the standard state inspection and the mechanic that attempted to fix it. 6) There was never and still isn't anything wrong with the car that I know of, no weird noises, no engine light, no issues whatsoever besides it randomly dying and then coming back to life like nothing happened. ------------------------- As you may see, there are multiple cases of this happening and it was never adressed: https://www.carcomplaints.com/Chrysler/200/2011/engine/engine_dies_while_driving.shtml
THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING. FIRST TIME IT STARTED BACK UP AFTER 5 MINUTES. SECOND TIME STARTED BACK UP AFTER BEING JUMPED EVENTHOUGH THE BATTERY HAD CHARGE. THIS LAST TIME THE CAR WOULD NOT START. IT HAS THE POWER IT WAS TURNING OVER BUT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT START. POWER STEERING TURNED OFF IN BOTH OCCASIONS. I HAD TO HAVE ME VEHICLE TOWED AND IT STILL WILL NOT START. I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH ON A PAVED HIGHWAY ROUTE 244, IT TURNED OFF ON A STRAIGHT AWAY, NO HILLS OR TURNS.
MY TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING ALL OF SUDDEN
HEATER CORE PLUGS FROM THE DEXCOOL BRAKING DOWN, THEN FINALLY STARTS TO LEAK CAUSING LACK OF HEAT, EVENTUALLY FOGGING THE WINDOWS SO YOU CAN'T SEE CAUSING MULTIPLE SAFETY HAZARDS. COMMON PROBLEM FROM WHAT I SEE ON LINE! YOU DON'T REALIZE IN SUMMER WHEN YOU BUY THE CAR TILL YOU GO TO USE IT IN THE SPRING AND IT'S NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!
DRIVING ON THE ROAD IN MOTION, THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN WITH NO WARNING. HAD IT TOWED TO SHOP WHERE IT STARTED UPON ARRIVAL (APPROX. 1 HOUR). NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME. RAN ENGINE SCAN AND NO CODES CAME UP. DIAGNOSTIC PROVIDED NO INFORMATION. CONDITION COULD NOT BE REPEATED. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. HAPPENED SEVERAL MORE TIMES WHILE IN MOTION OVER THE NEXT 2 MONTHS. SOMETIMES ON THE FREEWAY, SOME ON A ROAD. ALWAYS STARTS AGAIN AFTER 45 MINUTES. HAS BEEN TO MULTIPLE SHOPS WHERE NOTHING IS DIAGNOSED. PROBLEM PERSISTS TO THIS DAY. WE INSTALLED AN ENGINE SCANNER TO DETECT ANY CODES GIVEN WHEN ENGINE QUITE. CODES ARE AS FOLLOWS: ANTI LOCK BRAKES CODE U0401 - ACTIVE/MIL - IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM ECM/PCM AND POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE CODE P061C ETC LEVEL 2 RPM PERFORMANCE
WHILE TRAVELING ON M59 IN OAKLAND COUNTY MY DRIVERS SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT CAUSING THE CAR TO HIT THE CONCRETE MEDIAN AS STEERING WOULD NOT FUNCTION. MY CAR DAMAGE RENDERED IT A TOTAL LOSS AND CAUSED PHYSICAL INJURY TO ME. THE OAKLAND SHERIFF DEPT RESPONDED AND I WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO THE TROY BEAUMONT HOSPITAL. THIS HAPPENED 10/10/2020. I REMAIN IN GREAT PAIN IN AREAS OF HEAD AND TORSO.
NO HEAT COMING OUT OF PASSENGER SIDE VENTS AND REDUCED HEAT COMING OUT OF DRIVER SIDE VENTS. I HAD THE SYSTEM REVERSE FLUSHED AND REPLACED WITH NEW COOLANT AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM CAUSES REDUCED VISIBILITY DUE TO INEFFECTIVE DEFROSTING OF WINDSHIELD AND SIDE WINDOWS.
THE CAR DIES WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY
WHILE DRIVING, USUALLY DECELERATING OR GETTING READY TO STOP OR ALREADY STOPPED AND GETTING READY TO ACCELERATE THE ENGINE WILL STALL OR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF, WILL BE COMPLETELY HOT, WILL TAKE ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES AND THEN WILL START AGAIN. THIS HAS CAUSED MY SON SAFETY ISSUES WHERE HE'S COMPLETELY STOPPED RUNNING ON A BUSY ROAD AND THEN HAD TO PUSH THE CAR INTO EITHER A PARKING LOT WITHOUT POWER STEERING (HARD TO DO BY HIMSELF AT 18 YO) OR INTO A DRIVEWAY. THIS HAS ALSO HAPPENED IN THE COUNTRY AT NIGHT. NO LIGHTS COME ON EXCEPT ONCE WHEN THE ABS AND TRACTION LIGHTS CAME ON. THE VEHICLE WILL VIBRATE SLIGHTLY BEFORE EACH EPISODE. THE LAST EPISODE WE HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED. HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 6 TIMES. NOW NO LONGER DRIVING DUE TO SAFETY!!
WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE LOSES ALL POWER. JUST SHUTS DOWN. NO WARNING. NO WARNING LIGHTS. NO CODE. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.
THE CHRYSLER 200 WILL STALL OUT OF THE BLUE AND THE ENGINE WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. IT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES WITHIN THE PAST MONTH. IT ALWAYS HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET UP ON THE ACCELERATOR. ALL THE TIMES IT HAPPENED WAS WHILE IN THE CITY. IT HAPPENS WHILE ALWAYS IN DRIVE AND ON THE ROAD. 3 TIMES HAD TO GET IT TOWED. AND EVERY TIME AFTER WE GOT IT HOME IT WOULD START UP LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. PLEASE HELP. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION WITHOUT WARNING SMOKE APPEARED UNDER THE HOOD. THE CONTACT GOT OUT THE VEHICLE TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON HOWEVER FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. NO DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS TAKEN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 183,790.
A FOLLOW UP TO ADD ON TO MY INITIAL COMPLAINT. I HAVE A SCREENSHOT SHOWING HOW DANGEROUS THIS ISSUE CAN BECOME IF NOT RESOLVED. MY WIPERS AND HORN ARE A SAFETY CONCERN SINCE THEY AREN'T WORKING DUE TO A DEFECTIVE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE. PLEASE ADVISE BEFORE ANOTHER CHRYSLER OWNER HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AND COULD POSSIBLE HARM THEMSELVES IN A CRASH OR OTHERS.
MY WIPERS HAVE STARTED TO NOT EXACTLY STOP WORKING BUT THAT STOP THEN START UP AGAIN WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN THEM ON AS IF THEY ARE GLITCHING. THEN MY HORN STOPPED WORKING SO I WENT TO GET MY CAR INSPECTED. THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE WAS NOT WORKING APPARENTLY, A $1300 FIX. THIS CAR HAS BEEN A PAIN. HAVE REPLACED PART AFTER PART. HAVE HAD 3 RECALLS AND TRULY BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL DUE TO IT BEING SUCH A DUMB THING. EVEN THE MECHANIC WAS LIKE THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE FIX FOR A HORN THAT I'VE EVER SEEN!!
** Occasional stalling, when stopped or when driving normal speeds, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes longer. Fuel pump was replaced, problem continued, 2nd fuel pump installed, problem continues. Mechanic believes it is the TIPM, Totally Integrated Power Module. ** Headlights sometimes turn off while driving when totally dark. Not an issue of any ambient triggering headlight to turn off. I had headlights replaced, problem continues. It can only be resolved by turning headlights off, then back on. I suspect TIPM controls headlights set to AUTO, as headlights have a delay turn off when exiting the car. ** Horn turns on intermittently, when car is on or off. It will have short beeps or stay on for long periods. It may happen every few minutes, or days apart. As part of the alarm system, I suspect this could be another TIPM issue. Only resolution was to disconnect and drive without horns. Other randomly occurring issues that are likely due to TIPM: ** Smart front passenger window is erratic. The window should drop down 1/4 in when the door handle is pulled and as long as the door is open. When the door is open, the window will usually go back up (it shouldn't) but sometimes it works properly, and sometimes it keeps going up and down continuously, then stop, then start again. **Convertible top operation is erratic. It has many interlocks and sometimes it gets stuck 1/2 or 3/4 while opening, sometimes it may or not respond when closing. These problems have happened over the last year or so.
BOTH HEADREST DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDES HAVE NOW OPENED BY THEMSELVES.THANK GOODNESS I'M SHORT OR I COULD OF HAD AN CONCUSSION. DON'T SEE A RECALL,BUT THIS SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE MAKER. WOULD LIKE TO GET FIXED BY CHRYSLER AT THEIR EXPENSE.
THE CAR STALLS WHEN IT SLOWS DOWN OR COMES TO A STOP (FOR EXAMPLE AT A RED LIGHT). SO FAR, IT STARTS UP WITH NO PROBLEM. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE HYDROPLANE AND LANDED IN A DITCH. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT HE WAS EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL PRIOR TO THE COLLISION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JAMES COLLINS DOWNTOWN FORD LOUISVILLE (809 S 5TH ST, LOUISVILLE, KY 40203) WHERE THE FAILURE CAUSE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED AS THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED TOTAL LOSS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 74,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE CAR HAS STARTED TO OVERHEAT AND HEATER DID NOT WORK BUT THAT HAS SINCE STARTED WORKING ON ITS OWN. NOW CAR OVERHEATED AND WHEN DRIVING IT SOUNDS AS IF WATER OR SOMETHING IS TRYING TO GO THROUGH PIPE BUT MAYBE ISNT ALSO STARTED TO LEAK ALL COOLANT. AND BATTERY IS BEING DRAINED. HAD THE CAR CHECKED AND REPLACED THERMOSTAT BUT THAT DIDNT FIX ISSUE.ALSO WHEN DRIVING ALL LIGHTS ON DASH TURNED ON AND STARTED TO BEEP. WAS JUST ARRIVING AT A STORE AND WHEN I CAME OUT CAR DID NOT TURN ON. HAD A TOW TRUCK COME OUT AND THEY JUMP STARTED ME AND SAID SOMETHING WAS DRAINING MY BATTERY. ALSO WHEN PUMPING GAS IT CONSTANTLY STOPS AND YOU HAVE TO KEEP PRESSING HANDLE OR MOVE IT AROUND.
THE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM KEEPS COMING ON AND THE BRAKES SQUEAL. I WAS COMING UP TO A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT. BRAKES HAVE BEEN CHANGED OUT. IT JUST KEEPS HAPPENING.
PASSENGER HEADREST DEPLOYED ( POPPED OPEN) BY ITSELF CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN A ACCIDENT.
VEHICLE ENGINE DIES WITH NO WARNING OR INDICATION THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM. WILL NOT RESTART FOR 15-30 MINUTES. JUST STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHERE IT STOPS. HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY MANY MECHANICS. NO ERROR CODE IS DISPLAYED. HAVE HAD MULTIPLE SENSORS REPLACED BUT PROBLEM PERSISTS. SIMILAR PROBLEMS IN OTHER CHRYSLER MODELS HAS RESULTED IN A SAFETY RECALL BUT NOT THIS MODEL.
DRIVING A VEHICLE WHEN THE ENGINE SHUT OFF GOING APPROXIMATELY 35 MI THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE MANY TIMES
I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AND LIGHT TURNED GREEN WENT TO PRESS GAS AND CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF NO WARNING AT ALL NO LIGHTS ON DASHBOARD I PUT IT IN PARK SHUT IT OFF AND STARTED IT RIGHT BACK UP WITH NO PROBLEM THIS HAS HAPPENED TWO TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK ALSO NO CODES COMING UP ON SCANNER

WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SAFFORD CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT OF WINCHESTER (1659 BERRYVILLE PIKE, WINCHESTER, VA 22603, (540) 667-5532) FOR INSPECTION, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS CONTAMINATED WITH SLUDGE IN THE SYSTEM. ALSO, THE DEFROSTER WAS INOPERABLE, AND THE HEATER CORE, ENGINE OIL, COOLANT, AND RADIATOR CAP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,210.
