My car cut off right as I was stopping at a stop sign. It wouldn't even let me turn off the car to try and restart. I couldn't steer the car either. It took a minute and then I was able to turn it off and then restart it. By the time I got to the third stop sign it cutoff again. The second time around it read to shift to park before restarting. Thank God I was in my subdivision! There was no warning or check e gone light on either. Please help! More importantly my airbag light is on again. I've even had my airbag replaced by Chrysler last year. This had been a recurring problem since I bought the car. I reported it back in 2016 as well. My car is a 2015 and should never have had the airbag problem. Please help! I hope and pray this get to someone that takes safety seriously! This is my only car and I transport my children in it.
Heated Seats over heating
While driving the car on the highway it completely shut off and would not start. My dashboard is black and flashes. This could have been worse and put our life at risk. I have had so many issues on this car ever since I purchased it. I have taken it to a shop before and this will be my third time.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the parking brake was independently activated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact stated that the failure intermittently occurred since purchasing the vehicle in 2015. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
The car gives an error message of "engine warming wait to start" It will not crank. I've spent money for a new battery and a starter and it wasn't the fix. Hundreds of other consumers have reported this issue in online forums and to the maker and still no resolve. They stopped production of the car for this reason. Something has to be done.
Vehicle leaking oil badly and continuously overheating. Vehicle shut off on me in traffic with my child in car. Oil in coolant reservoir. Mechanic could not figure out where oil was coming from, nor why it was in my reservoir. While checking vehicle it started overheating badly and mechanic severely burned (injury)! Find that it is the oil filter housing/oil cooler. This is a serious hazard. It’s bad enough the vehicle continues to stall out and has even stall out while on the highway. Vehicle still in shop. Will not be buying another Chrysler ever.
This car is totally unsafe and is going to cause serious injury. When initially trying to accelerate this car jerks uncontrollably and doesn’t go. It stalls something serious then all of a sudden propels itself forward into traffic!!! Making other ppl swerve around me frantically. I can’t come to a complete stop at a stop sign then go when it’s my turn without the car talking a big stalling leap of death. Not to mention when coming to a stop it often cuts off due to something being wrong with the oil system causing it to burn too much oil. I’ve never had a car that I had to put oil in continuously even though my oil changes (via Chrysler) are on time. Horrible thing is Chrysler says they know the car does this but won’t FIX IT!!! This lemon is going to take me out.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact became aware of a large puddle of oil on the ground. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the oil cooler housing had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then taken to Midas, where the oil cooler housing was replaced. Additionally, the mechanic replaced the gaskets. The contact stated that after an oil change was performed on the vehicle, there was a strong oil odor observed. The vehicle was taken to Goodyear Tires, where the contact was informed that the oil cooler housing had leaked a significant amount of oil onto the engine. The mechanic cleaned off the oil. The contact was able to drive to the residence. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that it was a known failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while parking the vehicle in his garage, he had not engaged the parking brake, but the vehicle was shifted into park(P) when the vehicle rolled forward. The contact stated that the garage had a slight downward slope. The contact stated that the vehicle was still in park(P), but he could physically push the vehicle forward. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the park rod needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The contact was advised by the dealer that the park rod had been inspected under NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V090000 (Power Train) and had been inspected and serviced, but not replaced in 2015. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 102,098. The contact stated that the recall on the vehicle was serviced for the recall on it when it was owned by the previous owners. A broken parking rod was not found at that time so it is unknown when the issue began.
Decelerating while approaching a stop sign the engine shut off and would not restart for approximately 10 minutes. No warning lamps or indicators were lit. The driver was in danger of rear collision while attempting to restart.
With cruise control on going down hill the cruise control will cause the RPM's to race and my 16 year old has the push hard on his brakes to get it to release. This could end up causing him to crash. Apparently it is an ongoing issue with this make and model. Please help. Thank you.

Car stalls when starting from a stop. If the outside air temperature is below 50 degrees F, it seems worse. There are no warning lights, no codes...it just stalls out. It will usually start after trying once (It takes at least 20-30 seconds of trying to start before it does). I was pulling from a redlight to a 4 lane road when it stalled. I had no where to go. When I first purchased the car, I took it to the dealership 3 times, they said it was a transmission problem at first, then spark plugs, and the third time they couldn't find anything. September 30th was the last time this has happened, but not the first. If I start the car 15 minutes before driving, it doesn't seem as bad
At 130,000 miles a oil leak became very noticeable. The rear main oil seal was destroyed. Due to the oil leak the front belly pan(68102931ab) became a dangerous hazard. The front belly pan became completely soaked in oil and was dragging under the car. Once the car was taken apart by the tech it was discovered that the oil cooling house (68105583af) was cracked.

The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
The car shuts off while driving. The screen says "Shift to P to start". This happens randomly, without any warning, in traffic. It started a little over two weeks ago, and it is getting worse. It was happening every few days, but now it happens every day, multiple times a day.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the check engine, ABS, traction control, and air bag warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the oil pressure sensor and housing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that while reversing into the parking lot, she heard a rattling noise under the hood of the vehicle. The contact also stated that while driving over any small bumps in the roadway, the engine felt like as if it would fall out of the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the shock and strut assembly, suspension strut, transmission, and motor mounts needed to be replaced. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed of a manufacturer Recall: W84 (Power Train Software Update). The failure mileage was 93,662.
Was in an accident and airbags did not deploy but the other driver who hit me,hers did
While driving vehicle lost power and began to show service transmission and park brake check signs. Vehicle lost power and was lucky we weren't rear ended on the road by the Cars behind or cause an accident. Looking at this is year there are several complaints with the same issue. Car only has 33k miles and is having transmission issues.
When in park with engine running indicator comes on and says put car into park before it rolls. Look down and see it shifted into neutral. Always after putting in park I have to engage my emergency brake to make sure it does not roll. Very sluggish when put into drive. Tells me to service transmission and this all started in September. Took it to a repair shop called Xtreme auto repair and was told it has a six page recall on the problem with my transmission. Emailed Chrysler headquarters and they said there was nothing they could do cause the warranty expired. Yes it expired back in 2020 and the problem just started in September of 2022. Was told “ so sorry I am having a bad customer day”. Bought the car used in October 2017. I fear for my life and others as well if something should happen while driving.
My service airbag light came on on Dash and I ran the code it says airbag circuit is open.
The contact's stepdaughter owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that upon start of the vehicle, the gear shifter failed to move out of neutral(N). My car stalls while driving go into limpo
The touchscreen radio will not load past the chrysler symbol. It is the only way to control air vents i.e. defrost and temperature. It occasionally loads to rear backup camera view and gets stuck there driving down the highway
Unknown. When stopped or while slow down to turn out after trarrfic is clear when I put my foot on the gas it doesn’t go, like the transmission is slipping. then after a while it allows me to put my foot on the gas and proceed driving

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who referred the contact to the dealer. I own a 2015 Chrysler 200S With 27,000 miles on it and I’m currently having the transmission completely replaced due to failure. The automotive shop that is working on the vehicle tells me that the transmission fluid is completely burnt and has metal in it. There was never any warning signs that there was a condition going on until the day that the car went in the shop and the transmission light came on. I have the car at the dealership in November 2021 and all they could tell me at the time was that this particular model car tends to shift hard When I complained to them about the issues I was having. I feel like the dealership should have looked further into the matter because now I am spending $6000 to replace the transmission.

Lights keep popping up on the dash but disappear. No one can figure out why the car pretty much shuts down when you take go to accelerate it shudders extremely hard and doesn’t go.
We purchased our vehicle brand new in 2015 with 6 miles on it. 1. The vehicle has always shifted hard, but every time I brought it up at the dealership I was told that "the car is just learning my driving habits" Here we are 10 years later and my car is still shifting hard and it still won't fall into gear like it's supposed to. 2. Within the first 6 months the airbag light came on and would throw a warning message on the display, to have it checked. Even after acknowledging that I had seen the message it would beep at me and come on almost immediately. I took it in to the dealership on 3 different occasions while it was still under the 3 year warranty. The first two times I asked about it the dealership told me that they found a water bottle stuck under the passengers seat and that it was causing the wires to not stay connected. They claimed that it fixed the problem each time. The third time I took it in I made sure there was no trash under the seat and reset the light. After a day or so the warning light came back on. This time they said they would replace the parts under the seat, but I went to pick up my vehicle the dealership seemed confused about what was supposed to have been done. Then they said it was all fixed and hustled me out the door. I've asked about the issue at least 2 more times since being out of warranty. The dealership wants me to pay nearly $2,000 to have it fixed even though they say there's a known issue. And when my son and I were hit from the side in 2022 the airbags didn't deploy and I'm guessing it has to do with that light being on still to this day.
While vehicle is in driving mode it shuts off. I complained to East Hester chrysler 3 months ago and they were unable to diagnose the issue. It was doing it at least 3x a week, now it's happening daily and it has happen on the highway 2x which was a scary moment. I need some assistance, I notified Chrysler corporation and they reported the situation and refer me to a chrysler service center. I read that there has been a recall on my vehicle for the same situation (stalling while driving) I am having my vehiclencheck now at Central Ave Chrysler to see what they find. I hope the issue can be fixed and corrected and if there is a recall for this issue please help me. Thank you
The car keeps turning off when driving and I was looking into it and it says it had a recall can you help me out with this issue please since is my only transportation to work
The car says service transmission while driving and automatically shuts down while still in drive you can’t put the car into any other gear and actually have to shut the car off while still in drive . The car when restarted is stuck in park . Extremely dangerous situation when traffic is directly behind you and the car just stops . Car has been taken to the nearest repair shop and I’m waiting on inspection
It’s starting up but won’t drive and light smoke come from the car overheating a lot it’s just a big mess not holding any fluids waste money trying to keep it with Fluids
The car stalls while driving. I try to restart it and it try’s to start but takes a couple try’s. This has happened 3 times in the last week or two. The battery was replaced in April 2021 and was tested yesterday and checked ok.

As I’m approaching a steeper hill I go from 25 to 20MPH as I try to turn the corner of the hill I feel the speed of the vehicle picking up as I’m trying to slow down without slamming on the brakes the vehicle takes off hits the curb then a utility pole before coming to a complete stop
Car frequently stalls and shuts off while driving. Only has 80k miles. Almost had an accident today.
The vehicle is having an error and will not come out of park.
I was driving to take my vehicle to the car dealer that I bought it from and started having problems with the car. As I was driving the car started smoking really bad, and soon as I pulled into the the car dealer lot the bottom of my car was in flames. I had to hurry put the car in park jump out and grab my daughter out the car. Every since my daughter has been having really bad coughing issues. I took my car to have it looked at and checked and the dealer let me know that it was nothing they can do that they would not switch me to another car. I feel it’s unsafe and unfair for my children as well as my self to continue having to drive in and pay for a car that has caught on fire. Every since I have been having unstoppable problems with the car, from a starting issue, air bag issue, engine issue and so many more problem.
Let me start by saying I was in love with my 200S but lately she been acting up. 1) I was driving on multiple occasions now when I’ll hear a chim sound(Warning light with nothing laminated on the dashboard) car loses all power and shuts off completely no matter where on the freeway and surface streets 2mins later car starts up. The latest incident came a week ago when I was pulling in a drive way car shut off completely while traffic was coming almost causing a major crash (Thank God Nobody didn’t get hurt) other motorists got out to help push it to safety. There’s been multiple occasions while driving the car starts shaking bad as if it’s going to stall check engine light comes on..I pull over scan for codes nothing pops up ,I then check connectors and fluids etc unscrewed the gas cap Redo it ,car starts up I drive home safely (No more stalling feeling or bad shaking) Mechanic run diagnostics No Error codes appear . 2) Airbags senor come on and off for no reason which scares the heck out of me to drive it not knowing if they’ll actually protect me or not if I need it too. It’s been almost 2 car payments since I drove it.Due to safety fears because I travel with Kids 3) it’s hard to pick up speed when trying to accelerate My car is now at 99K miles and I have been going through these issues probably since 73K miles
I have had my 2015 Chrysler 200 for about a year now and ever since I have had it. it has acted weird. Evetime I am driving down a hill at a slow pace, i loose power as if my car just switched to Neutral. It also jerks a lot when I am stopped on a hill going up and I start to go, then it will jerk like its delayed in the gears. I am very concerned for my safety. I have seen other recalls similar to this and I am hoping we can get this one on a recall as well. I have not had my car inspected yet because I cant afford it.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would hesitate upon the depression of the accelerator with the check engine warning light illuminated.
