I PURCHASED THIS CAR BRAND NEW FROM A CHRYSLER DEALER. SINCE I'VE HAD MY CAR ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ILL BE DRIVING ALONG AND THE VEHICLE WILL GET STUCK IN A NEUTRAL POSITION. ITS HAPPENED AT A VARIETY OF SPEEDS FROM 10 MPH TO 60 MPH. TWO OR THREE TIMES IT HAS DONE IT WHEN TRYING TO CROSS A BUSY ROAD ALMOST CAUSING ME TO BE HIT ON MY SIDE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. ONCE OR TWICE IT HAS EVEN CAUSED THE CAR TO STALL. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE AND GOING TO CAUSE MANY FATALITIES. IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. I'VE NEVER HATED A VEHICLE LIKE THIS ONE. *TR
[XXX]. REGARDING 200S...BUT. CAR 02/02/2015 W/444 MILES ON IT AND RETURNED 200S TO DEALERSHIP W/943 MILES ON THE AUTO. IT WAS UN-DRIVABLE IN SNOW APPROX. 2 TO 4 INCHES.THE CAR WOULD BECOME STUCK IN COMPACTED SNOW IN THE STREET AND WOULD NOT MOVE/ COMPACTED I MEAN WHICH ALL OTHER CARS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD COULD DRIVE ON INCLUDING THE PIZZA DELIVERY PERSON AND PEOPLE ON THE WAY TO WORK AND ECT ALL DAY LONG BUT NOT THIS 200S JUST SAT THERE IN FRONT OF OUR HOME. WHILE WE WAITED FOR HELP...WELL ONCE WE GOT THE CAR DOWN THE STREET ON 2 ON 3 INCHES OF SLUSH SNOW WHERE EVERYONE WAS DRIVING.THE CAR REAR END WANTED TO COME AROUND TO THE FRONT OF THE 200S AND SPIN US OUT OF CONTROL. YOU CAN NOT CONTROL THE CAR WITH OUT A FIGHT WITH THE GAS PEDAL AND BRAKE AND STEERING..THE CAR WANTED TO SPIN AROUND..BEING FROM MICHIGAN AND MINN.MY WIFE AND I KNOW SNOW. AND THIS IS THE FIRST AUTO WE HAVE EVER OWNED THAT WAS 100% UNSAFE TO DRIVE IN ANY AMOUNTS OF SNOW. AND FURTHER MOOR THE SERVICE MANAGER AT NICHOLASVILLE CHRYSLERSHIP HIS NAME IS [XXX] THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID HE WENT INTO THE DITCH WITH HIS BECAUSE THE 200 WAS NOT A CONTROLLABLE AUTO IN THE SNOW..WE TOOK THE CAR BACK AND THE OWNER AND PEOPLE THAT SOLD US CAR SAID IF THE CAR IS UNSAFE WE WILL SELL YOU ANOTHER AND SO IT WENT MY WIFE AND I GOT RIPPED OFF. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE AND BRAKES, THE DASHBOARD OVERHEATED, AND THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER:15V470000(ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 2,100.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE IN MY BRAND NEW CHRYSLER 200 (BARELY 6,000 MILES ON IT) AROUND 6:00 AM, GOING ABOUT 78 MPH, WHEN SUDDENLY THE PARKING BRAKE APPEARED TO ENGAGE, THE RADIO WENT OFF WHILE WARNING BEEPS WERE GOING NON STOP, AND EVERY WARNING ON THE DASH WAS LIT UP, THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE, AND SEEMED TO THINK IT WAS IN PARK WHILE IT WAS ACTUALLY IN DRIVE. IT STILL WOULD NOT DRIVE (WAS ACTING AS THOUGH BRAKES WERE ON WHEN THEY WERE NOT) WHEN THE TOW TRUCK CAME 2 HOURS LATER AND THE DRIVER WAS TRYING TO GET IT ONTO THE BED. AS I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN MY CAR WENT INTO A SWIFT AND SUDDEN DECELERATION I WAS ALMOST SERIOUSLY INJURED AND, POTENTIALLY, COULD HAVE INJURED OTHERS. I WAS LUCKY IT WAS SO EARLY IN THE MORNING AND NO ONE WAS HURT. I HAVE NOT YET HEARD FROM THE DEALERSHIP AS THIS ONLY HAPPENED THIS MORNING, BUT I AM TERRIFIED TO EVER DRIVE THAT CAR AGAIN. I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO BEFORE ANYONE IS INJURED OR KILLED DUE TO WHATEVER CAUSED THIS MALFUNCTION. *TR
1ST TIME: ON HIGHWAY AT 55MPH GOT AND ERROR ON DASH: SERVICE TRANSMISSION THEN PERFORMANCE SHIFTING NOT AVAILABLE 2ND TIME: AFTER JUST 4-5 MINUTES OF DRIVING THE CAR HAD SAME ERRORS AS ABOVE. AT THE NEXT LIGHT, PRESSED GAS AND THERE WAS NO REVVING OF ENGINE (RPMS DID NOT MOVE). PUT IT INTO PARK AND IT SAID CAR IS NOT IN PARK, USE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO PREVENT MOVEMENT." PUT BRAKE ON, THEN INTO D, THEN BRAKE OFF AND CAR WENT VERY SLOWLY AS IT WAS STUCK IN 4TH GEAR. WENT ONTO HIGHWAY AND STILL STUCK IN 4TH FOR A FEW MILES (REVVING AT 4,000 RPMS AT ABOUT 60MPH). SUDDENLY THE ENGINE BEGAN REVVING ITSELF UP TO 5.5K WITHOUT MY FOOT ON THE PEDAL, BUT THERE WAS NO ACCELERATION (LIKE CAR WAS NOT IN A GEAR). I PRESSED ACCELERATOR AND NOTHING HAPPENED, IT STAYED AT ABOUT 5.5K. I PUT CAR INTO N AND THE RPMS DROPPED TO ABOUT 1.5K, BUT CAR STILL NOT IN A GEAR SO IT WAS LOSING SPEED SO I MOVED TO BREAKDOWN LANE. PUT IT BACK INTO D AND IT AGAIN REVVED TO 5.5K, BUT STILL NO GEAR AND LOST SPEED. 3RD TIME: I WOULD TURN TO D AND IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3-5 SECONDS BEFORE IT CLUNKED INTO GEAR. CAR THEN SHUDDERED A BIT AS I PULLED OUT AND THEN IT GAVE THE SAME ERRORS AS BEFORE: SERVICE TRANSMISSION THEN PERFORMANCE SHIFTING NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DASH. IT ALSO GOT STUCK IN 4TH GEAR AGAIN SO I COULD NOT ACCELERATE PROPERLY. IT ALSO REVVED THE ENGINE RANDOMLY. IN FACT, I ALMOST SMASHED INTO MY GARAGE BECAUSE AS I WAS SLOWLY TURNING INTO MY GARAGE THE CAR SUDDENLY SURGED FORWARD (IMAGINE IN A MANUAL CAR, REVVING THE ENGINE AND THEN RAPIDLY LETTING OUT ON THE CLUTCH) AND I HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES TO PREVENT IT FROM GOING INTO THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE. IF THERE WERE PEOPLE WALKING IN FRONT OF THE CAR AT A CROSSWALK, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND NOT SAFE. JUST AS MUCH I COULD EASILY GET INTO AN ACCIDENT WITH ANOTHER CAR, THE WAY THIS CAR IS BEHAVING. *TR
THIS CAR BEEN MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSION JERKING.CAR HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING SEVERAL TIMES.VISBILTY IS 0 AT TIMES DUE TO CLIMATE CONTROLS NOT BEING FIXED PROPERLY,HAS BEEN IN SHOP FOR 36 DAYS FOR CLIMATE CONTROL,MATTER STILL EXISTED AND SAID TO BE FIX , BUT STILL MAJOR ISSUES.RATTLING IN DOOR ON PASSENGER SIDE.CAR HAS STOP RINNING AT ALL, SAID TO BE DUE TO LOW OIL, BUT NOT THE CASE, HAS DONE IT AGAIN AND OIL WAS DONE 1,000 MILES PRIOR TO BE DONE.CHRYSLER CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE JERKING THO THEY CLAIM. HAS FAILED TO ANSWER LAWYERS BACK OR 2 LETTERS SENT DUE TO IT BEING A LEMON AND NO REPSONSE FROM MANUFACTURER
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE HEADLIGHTS WERE ACTIVATED, BUT THE HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS FAILED. AS A RESULT, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED UNKNOWN INJURIES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. IN ADDITION, WHILE PARKED WITH THE VEHICLE STARTED, THE VEHICLE JERKED FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING AND CRASHED INTO A CURB. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
Ever since I first got the car, the moment I drove off the lot, the air bag system message popped up. I would take it back to the dealer, they would wiggle a few things around, I'd get it back, and the safety bag light STILL came on. I took it in about 5-6 times and still no fix. It was until my insurance expired that they said they could replace the whole thing for thousands of dollars. I still get the message on the car. If I crash, they bags will not go off, and the car company does not care. This happened with a family member of mine with the same car.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED AND TURNED TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT ON ITS OWN. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRONIC STEERING FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,500.
CAR AT 55 MPH DROPS OUT OF DRIVE AT SPEEDS UP TO 55 MPH DROPS INTO NETURAL. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM LOCKS UP PREVENTING CAR TO START HAD TO BE TOW. *TR
I WAS ON A SLIGHT HILL (APPROX 10-15 DEGREES) STOPPED THE CAR AND PUT IT INTO PARK, PRESSED THE ENGINE START BUTTON TO SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND OPENED THE DOOR TO EXIT. AS I LIFTED MY WEIGHT OUT OF THE CAR, IT BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARDS, MY FOOT SLIPPED UNDER THE CAR BUT I WAS ABLE TO HIT THE BREAKS WITH MY OTHER FOOT. THINKING IT WAS SOMETHING I DID WRONG, I PULLED THE CAR BACK UP AND REPEATED THE SAME STEPS AND IT DID THE SAME THING AGAIN (THIS TIME WITH OUT MY FOOT). I WAS THEN THINKING, THIS IS A BRAND NEW 31K+ CAR - IT CANT BE DOING THIS SO I REPEATED A THIRD TIME AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I CALLED MY DEALER WHO INSTRUCTED ME TO SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ON PARK SELECTION ON MY RADIO AND TO BRING THE CAR IN IMMEDIATELY! ITS NOW IN THE DEALERS SHOP AS THEY ARE GETTING THE HEM AND HAW FROM CHRYSLER ON WHAT TO DO. I WANT THIS FIXED ASAP AS I AM LUCKY THE CAR DID NOT RUN OVER ME AND CRASH INTO THE CARS BEHIND ME. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 C EQUIPPED WITH NEXEN TIRES, TIRE LINE: CP671 AND TIRE SIZE: 235/40/R19 N/A. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATED AT HIGH SPEEDS, IT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT DEPENDING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SWAY WAS NOT DUE TO THE VEHICLE BUT THE ISSUE WAS PROBABLY CAUSED FROM THE TIRES SIDEWALL. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE TIRES WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 14,000. THE VIN AND DOT NUMBER WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
STARTING BACK IN JANUARY I HAVE HAD MY ENGINE LIGHT COME ON 5 TIMES ALL FOR A "FUEL ISSUES", ACCORDING TO THEM. I HAVE HAD THE ESIM SWITCHED TWICE NOW AS OF JUNE 2015. THE CAR DOES NOT GET THE MILES PER GALLON AS STATED, I BELIEVE BECAUSE OF THESE ISSUES AND TRANSMISSION ISSUES. MY ENGINE LIGHT WENT OFF AGAIN ON AUG 23, BUT THIS TIME IT WAS FOR A UPDATE THEN IT LEAD TO NEEDING A NEW TRANSMISSION. THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 15 TIMES NOW FOR VARIOUS ISSUES SINCE PURCHASE IN SEPT 14' AND GOING BACK IN AGAIN IN A COUPLE DAYS.
VEHICLE ENGINE CYLINDER WALLS SUFFERED FROM EXCESSIVE SCORING DURING THE TIME IT WAS MANUFACTURED. THE CAR CONSTANTLY STALLS, SHAKES, AND JERKS WHEN DRIVING AND DURING IDLE PERIODS. THIS VEHICLE IS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE, DUE TO THE FACT THAT CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE IS LIMITED BECAUSE OF THECONSTANT SHAKING AND RUMBLING OF THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE DRIVING. WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE CHRYSLER CAR ON THE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE ALMOST SHUT OFF COMPLETELY, SUBSEQUENTLY PUTTING ME AND MY NEWBORN BABY AT RISK OF A FATAL ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE HAS ALSO BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH MANY OTHER ISSUES WITH THE POWER TRAIN COMPONENTS OF THE ENGINE. ONE MORNING IN MY GARAGE, THE 200 WOULD NOT CRANK WHEN PRESSING THE PUSH BUTTON IGNITION AND AFTER THIS, THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO BE TOWED. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW IN 2015, AND CHRYSLER HAS FAILED TO FIX OR ACKNOWLEDGE THESE ISSUES.
MY CHRYSLER 200 WAS IMPACTED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE LEFT FENDER AND DRIVER'S DOOR. THE IMPACT WAS HARD ENOUGH IN MY OPINION FOR THE SIDE AIRBAGS TO RELEASE BUT NOTHING HAPPEN MY WIFE'S HEAD HIT AGAINST THE DRIVER'S DOOR. I HAVE PICTURES BUT DO NOT SEE A PLACE TO UPLOAD. THANKS *TR
WHILE DRIVING ON I95 AT 60 MPH IN THE CENTER LANE, THE CAR COMPLETELY LOST POWER. NEAR THE 216 ON RAMP TO I95N. ONLY BECAUSE I WAS AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER WAS I ABLE TO RECOGNIZE WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND SAFELY GET OVER AND OFF ON TO THE SOFT SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND AVOID A FATAL ACCIDENT. CAR STILL SAID "RUN" AND I HAD TO GET OUT ON SHOULDER AND WALK FAR AWAY FROM CAR TO DISENGAGE THE KEY FOB AND THEN RETURN TO THE CAR AND TURN IT OFF. AFTER TURNING OFF AND LEAVING OFF FOR 5+ MIN, ATTEMPTED TO RESTART. TOW TRUCK HAD TO BE CALLED. AFTER 4 DAYS AT DEALER, THEY ARE STILL UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM. ALL WE HAVE BEEN TOLD IS THEY ARE UNABLE TO GET THE 4 COILS TO FIRE AT THE SAME TIME. THIS IS SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM! *TR
FINANCED THIS CAR BRAND NEW OFF THE LOT IN AUGUST 2015. SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN IN THE REPAIR SHOP 4 TIMES AND THE CAR IS STILL JERKING. THE 3RD TIME I TOOK IT IN THE SHOP THEY CLAIMED THEY PUT A NEW TRANSMISSION IN. AFTER DRIVING FOR A FEW MINUTES THE CAR WAS DOING THE SAME EXACT THING. I THEN TOOK IT TO A WELL KNOWN MECHANIC AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND THAT I NEEDED A NEW ONE. I FELT LIED TO AND KNEW THEY SOLD ME A LEMON. THEY STILL HAVE MY CAR AND I'M STILL PAYING FOR THIS CAR I DON'T EVEN HAVE, PLUS SPENDING MONEY ON A LOANER CAR. I FEEL SO HUMILIATED AND SICK TO MY STOMACH. I HAD TO MISS HOLIDAYS BECAUSE THE CAR WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE ANYWHERE IN THAT CONDITION. PLEASE HELP ME.
WITHOUT NOTICE THE CAR DID NOT WANT TO PICK UP SPEED GOING UP HILL - NJ ROUTE 280 WEST. ALMOST GOT REAR ENDED. ALSO WHEN TRYING TO STOP THE CAR - IT JOLTS FORWARD BEFORE SLOWING DOWN. THIS IS DANGEROUS - I WAS TOLD BY AN EMPLOYEE OF THE RENTAL AGENCY THAT 2 OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE SAME INCIDENT HAPPEN TO THEM AND THEY RETURNED THE CARS. I FEAR SOMEONE WILL GET SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES BEFORE PRECIOUS LIVES ARE LOST OR PERMANENTLY INJURED. *TR

THIS CAR FROM THE TIME I BOUGHT IT HAVES ISSUES WHEN TAKING OFF IT STALLS DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE OFFOR IT WILL TAKE OFF FAST WITHOUT REALLY HITTING GAS IT CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT I'VE CALLED THEY DID A RECALL ON IT THAT CAUSES THAT PROBLEM BUT IT'S STILL A PROBLEM OR SHUTS OFF
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FROM THE DEALER FOUR MONTHS AGO. IN THAT TIME I HAVE HAD SOME UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCES. AT FIRST IT WAS LITTLE THINGS, SUCH AS NOT BEING ABLE TO START THE CAR, OR THE KEYFOB DIDN'T WORK CORRECTLY. ALTHOUGH THOSE WERE NAGGING THEY WERE EASILY DEALT WITH. LAST WEEK I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET DOING ABOUT 40MPH, AND THE CARS DISPLAY STARTED THROWING ERROR MESSAGES, SUCH AS SERVICE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR FELT LIKE IT HAD STALLED AND I HAD NO POWER TO THE GAS, BRAKE OR STEERING WHEEL. LUCKILY I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THIS HAPPENED OR THE LIKELIHOOD OF ME GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT WOULD BE VERY HIGH, BEING THAT THIS WAS IN THE EVENING. SO, I AM STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH A CAR THAT STILL HAS ACCESSORY POWER, BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO SHIFT THE CAR INTO PARK, OR DRIVE. I WAS ABLE TO SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTART IT FINE, BUT AGAIN COULDN'T SHIFT. AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES THE CAR SHIFTED INTO GEAR, AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT, ALBEIT VERY SLOWLY SINCE THE ENGINE WOULD NOT REV PAST 2000 RPMS. I CHECKED FOR ANY SERVICE BULLETINS AND SEE THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR SEVERAL PEOPLE. THERE WAS NOT A FIX ASSOCIATED WITH THIS. I BROUGHT THE CAR IN TO YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO RECREATE THE ISSUE. SO, NOW I AM STUCK WITH A BRAND NEW CAR WITH ROUGHLY 2200 MILES THAT I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE. IF/WHEN THIS HAPPENS AGAIN I HOPE I'M NOT ON THE HIGHWAY OR ANY ROAD ACTUALLY AS THE CHANCE OF AN ACCIDENT IS VERY HIGH. I DON'T FEEL SAFE. I ORIGINALLY ATTEMPTED TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL, BUT IT HAD NO IMPACT ON THE VEHICLE AT ALL. I MOVED TOWARD THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO A STOP, SHUT IT DOWN AND RESTARTED. IT STARTED BACK UP WITHOUT A PROBLEM. I SCHEDULED THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO THE DEALER ON THE FIRST AVAILABLE DATE. THE DEALER CLAIMED IT WAS A "SOFTWARE UPDATE" ISSUE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE GEAR SHAFT INDEPENDENTLY SHIFTED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO JERK AND STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION MODULE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,900.
THIS INCIDENT HAS HAPPENED ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS AROUND 60 TO 70 MPH, MY CAR WILL SUDDENLY STALL, AND I AM UNABLE TO ACCELERATE. MY ELECTRONIC DASH DISPLAY WOULD BEGIN BLINKING, AND I HAVE NO POWER TO THE PEDAL AT ALL. ON BOTH OCCASIONS, I WAS IN FACT ABLE TO PULL OF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO AVOID ANY KIND OF CAR ACCIDENT, HOWEVER THE SECOND INCIDENT NEARLY CAUSED A CRASH BECAUSE THE TRAFFIC VOLUMES AT THE TIME WERE QUITE HEAVY. I WAS NEARLY REAR ENDED DUE TO MY SUDDEN DECELERATION. AFTER THE SECOND INCIDENT, I DECIDED TO TAKE THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE. AS OF TODAY (3 DAYS IN THE SHOP) I HAVE NOT HEARD A REASON AS TO WHY THIS IS OCCURRING. I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR ROUGHLY 4 MONTHS, AND THIS STALLING HAS HAPPENED TWICE. I AM WORRIED THAT IT WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT ON THE ROAD. *TR

THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
