FIRST I RECEIVED THE WHEEL SENSOR WARNING. THEN THE AIR BAG WARNING. THEN A VAPE LEAK ISSUE, AND NOW MY DASH LIGHTS ARE GOING COMPLETELY OUT MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DETECT SPEED. MY CAR HAS APPROXIMATELY 140,000. MY VEHICLE IS IN MOTION WHEN THIS ELECTRICAL ISSUE OCCURS. I HAVE BEEN ON BOTH A HIGHWAY AND INTERSTATE, AND DRIVING STRAIGHT DURING THE BLACKOUT. IT HAS OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE LAST FEW DAYS. THE ELECTRICAL ISSUE MAY BE RELATED TO THIS RECALL: CHRYSLER (FCA US LLC) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2015 CHRYSLER 200 VEHICLES MANUFACTURED JANUARY 7, 2014, TO SEPTEMBER 23, 2014. THE AFFECTED VEHICLES MAY HAVE A POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER (PDC) ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR THAT MAY CAUSE INTERMITTENT POWER FAILURES TO CERTAIN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS.
SHORTLY AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE AFTER START UP, IT STALLS AND BEGINS TO QUICKLY SLOW DOWN. NO WARNING LIGHTS, OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. ONCE YOU GET IT STOPPED AND RESTART IT, IT DOES THE SAME THING ABOUT 3-7 MILES DOWN THE ROAD. THEN IT WON'T DO IT AT ALL FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. THIS HAS CAUSED DANGEROUS SITUATIONS. NO CODES TO GO ON FOR A POSSIBLE PROBLEM. THIS MODEL HAS HAN MANY MANY COMPLAINTS FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM, AND I BELIEVE RECALLED BEFORE FOR IT, BUT A CHECK OF RECALLS FOR THIS VIN SHOWS NO UN-REPAIRED RECALLS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT. VEHICLE HAS JUST UNDER 60,000 MILES AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. DEALER HAS STATED THAT WITHOUT CODES SHOWING UP, AND OR WITNESSING THE PROBLEM THEY REALLY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THIS HAS HAPPENED DURING BUSY TRAFFIC AND CAUSED CARS TO ALMOST HIT ME FROM BEHIND WHEN MINE STALLS AND SLOWS DOWN FROM NO POWER. LUCKILY I HAVE BEEN IN AREAS THAT HAVE A SHOULDER TO MOVE ONTO. I HONESTLY DO NOT THINK I AM BEING TOLD EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM FROM THE DEALERSHIP, BECAUSE FROM RESEARCHING IT ON LINE, I HAVE FOUND THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS THIS VERY SAME PROBLEM, AND NOBODY SEAMS TO HAVE A CLEAR ANSWER FOR IT THAT I CAN FIND. I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS. THANK YOU
VEHICLE HAS SHUT OFF THE LAST TWO MORNINGS WHEN STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN. MESSAGE SCREEN SAYS TO SHIFT TO PARK TO START.
WHILE DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING LOT TO GET ONTO A MAIN STREET, WHEN ACCELERATING TO PICK UP SPEED, THE CAR BEGAN TO LOSE CONTROL AND FELT AS IF THE CAR SLIPPED INTO NEUTRAL. A SCREEN POPPED UP ON THE DASH STATING "SERVICE TRANSMITION" AND "ENGAGE PARKING BREAK TO PREVENT ROLLING". WHILE THE NOTIFICATION WAS ON THE DASH, THE GEAR SHIFTER BLINKED ON "D" AND LOCKED UP. UNABLE TO ALLOW US TO SWITCH TO ANY OTHER GEAR. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO MIKE TOLER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT DEALERSHIP LOCATED AT 5340 HWY 70 W, MOREHEAD CITY, NC 28557. THE SERVICE AREA DIAGNOSED IT AS NEEDING TO REPAIR THE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY. WE DID NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE FOR THIS DIAGNOSES, BUT I CAN CALL AND ASK FOR ONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS TOMORROW. WE RESEARCHED MAKE AND MODEL FOR RECALLS, AND OUR PERSONAL VIN NUMBER. OUR MAKE AND MODEL HAD 8 RECALLS, ONE INCLUDING RECALL 16V529000 FOR NHTSA AND S55 FOR CHRYSLER. AFTER ASKING THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP TO MAKE SURE THESE DID NOT APPLY TO OUR CAR, THEY WERE NOT ACCOMMODATING. THEY STATED THAT IF WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS A RECALL TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. WE CALLED CHRYSLER CORPORATE, WHERE THEY MADE A CASE NUMBER OF 77342048 AND INFORMED US TO CONTACT NHSTA DUE TO THE ISSUE BEING WHAT THE RECALL STATES, BUT THE VIN NOT HAVING A RECALL.
CAR BATTERY DIED AND WAS REPLACED. CAR WILL NOT SHIFT OUT OF NEUTRAL.
ON SEPTEMBER 17TH, 2020 I WAS DRIVING MY GREAT NIECE TO DAYCARE AND WHEN I PARKED THE CAR AND CUT IT OFF, IT WOULD NOT START BACK UP OR ALLOW ME TO SHIFT AT ALL. A NEW BATTERY WAS PURCHASED WHICH DID NOTHING, A TOWING SERVICE WAS CALLED AND IT WAS FLATBED DELIVERED TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE COMPUTER BRAIN IS GONE AND THE CAR WILL NOT CUT OFF WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON TO CUT IT OFF, THEY HAD TO DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL. THIS IS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 LIMITED WITH ONLY 53,000 MILES AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE POWERTRAIN OR ANYTHING BECAUSE THE BRAIN IS GONE. THEY BUILT THESE CARS WITH NO SAFETY IN MIND. I AM JUST THANKFUL IT DIDN'T STOP ON THE HIGHWAY WITH MY BABY INSIDE. AND NOW THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WANTS TO CHARGE THOUSANDS TO REPAIR IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THE VEHICLE SHUTOFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE COASTED DOWN THE ROAD WITH THE POWER STEERING INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD TO THE SHOULDER. THE CONTACT WAITED FIVE MINUTES AND THE VEHICLE EVENTUALLY RESTARTED AND WAS DRIVEN HOME. THE VEHICLE STOPPED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE GETTING THE RESIDENCE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED OR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,730.
I HAVE EXPERIENCED HARSH AND ERRATIC SHIFTING IN LOW SPEEDS AND GEARS SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING. I WAS TOLD IN THE TEST DRIVE IT WAS THE NEW GENERATION TRANSMISSION LEARNING MY DRIVING STYLE. AFTER TAKING IT BACK TO THE DEALER A FEW WEEKS LATER, THEY SAID THE SAME THING, THAT IT WAS A "LEFT FOOT SHIFT" (WHATEVER THAT IS) AND STILL LEARNING HOW I DRIVE BUT THEY WENT AHEAD AND DID A TCM AND PCM UPDATE. THIS DID NOT HELP. IT HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED ODD SHIFTING PROBLEMS WHEN IN SPORT MODE USING THE PADDLE SHIFTERS. WHEN YOU ARE IN 3RD AND GO TO UPSHIFT INTO 4TH, IT DOWN SHIFTS INTO 2ND! SEVERAL TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED ON CURVERY ROADS WHERE A DOWNSHIFT AT THAT SPEED COULD THROW YOU OFF. FAST FORWARD A YEAR LATER ALL THE WHILE IT IS STILL SHIFTING HARD AND HAVING ISSUES WITH THE PADDLE SHIFT MODE, I AM NOW GETTING A "SERVICE PARKING BRAKE" AND "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" CODE IN THE DASH IN ADDITION TO THE ENGINE LIGHT POPPING UP AND THE CAR NOT GOING INTO GEAR VIA THE ELECTRONIC SHIFT KNOB. THIS ISSUE HAS LEFT ME STRANDED FROM TIMES RANGING FROM 30 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR. WHILE A CASE IS STILL ONGOING WITH CHRYSLER, I HAVE SOME OTHER INFORMATION TO BE NOTED. THIS CAR WAS A PART OF THE RECALL R08 (TRANSAXLE PARK ROD), R24 (POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR), AND S55 (TRANSAXLE RANGE SENSOR WIRE HARNESS), WHICH WERE ALL REPAIRED. I AM NOW A YEAR OUT OF POWERTRAIN WARRANTY WITH THIS 2015 CHRYSLER 200S THAT HAS 96,500 MILES ON IT. HOWEVER, I HAVE PAPERWORK (WHICH CAN BE PROVIDED) THAT I TRIED TO HAVE THIS CAR FIXED BEFORE THE POWERTRAIN WAS UP BUT INSTEAD I WAS SENT ON MY WAY. AFTER TAKING IT TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS, IT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED THAT IT HAS A "CLUTCH PACK FAILURE" WHICH WOULD REQUIRE AN ENTIRELY NEW TRANSMISSION. INTERESTINGLY, ONCE YOU GET IT INTO GEAR, IT DRIVES JUST FINE. BUT WHOSE TO SAY IT WON'T JUST QUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT?
WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AFTER A CERTAIN DISTANCE THE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION SWITCHES GEARS FROM DRIVE TO PARKING TO WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP THE VEHICLE DOESNT LET ANY GEARS TO BE SHIFTING BEING STUCK IN THE PARKING GEAR COMPUTER THEN SAYS "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" AND "SERVICE PARKING BREAK" AS WELL AS "SWITCH TO PARKING THEN SELECT DESIRED GEAR" TO WHICH NO MATTER WHAT GEAR ITS SHIFTING TO IT SAYS "SELECT PARKING GEAR THEN DESIRED GEAR". NO MATTER WHAT THE VEHICLE STAYS LIKE THAT UNTIL EVENTUALLY IT WILL MOVE BUT UNTIL IT REPEATS THE SAME THING AGAIN AFTER MOVING AGAIN AT A CERTAIN DISTANCE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME MULTIPLE TIMES I A RESIDENTIAL STREET, AND A STORE PARKING LOT.
AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2020, I NOTICED THAT MY STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO TURN SUDDENLY AND MY GAS PEDAL AND BRAKE PEDAL WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE MUCH AND IT WOULDN'T STOP PROPERLY. SOME LIGHTS LIT UP ON MY DASH BOARD. I BROUGHT MY CAR INTO THE SHOP A FEW DAYS LATER. THE MECHANIC HOOKED MY CAR TO A MACHINE AND NOTHING WAS REALLY SHOWING. HE DID SOMETHING TO RESET MY DASHBOARD ALERTS AND SAID THAT IF IT CONTINUED TO BRING IT BACK. IT DID CONTINUE, SO HE ORDERED NEW COILS FOR MY CAR. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK IN ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2020 FOR REPAIR. THE MECHANIC RECHECKED MY CAR AND HE FOUND METAL FLAKES IN THE OIL THAT HE DRAINED FROM MY TRANSMISSION. HE SAID THAT IS NOT NORMAL FOR REGULAR WEAR AND TEAR.
I WAS SITTING AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT WHEN MY CAR STALLED . WHEN I CRANKED IT BACK UP NONE OF THE TOUCH SCREEN WORKS AND THE ODOMETER FLASHING STARTED SO CAR HAS NO BACKUP CAMERA, NO COMPASS, NO CLIMATE CONTROL, NO RADIO, NO TRACTION CONTROL, NO HILL ASSIST, DEFROST IS BARELY WORKING.
MY HUSBAND DRIVES THIS VEHICLE PRIMARILY ON THE FREEWAY TO AND FROM WORK 5 DAYS PER WEEK. HE STATES THAT THE VEHICLE WILL LOOSE ALL ACCELERATION AND SHUT DOWN UPON TRYING TO MERGE ONTO FREEWAY REQUIRING THE VEHICLE TO BE SHUT OFF. I HAVE CHECKED THE KBB DATABASE FOR ANY SUCH RECALLS FOR THIS MAKE & MODEL AND THERE IS ONE FOR THIS ISSUE; HOWEVER, OUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE COMES UP AS NOT PART OF THIS RECALL. WHAT CAN WE DO FROM HERE SINCE THIS APPEARS TO BE THE SAME REPORTED RECALL. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE PAST WEEK OR SO.
WHILE DRIVING ON EXPRESSWAY FROM MICHIGAN TO NEBRASKA CAR WAS MAKING LOUD NOISES FROM SUSPENSION/TIRE AREA AND TOOK CAR INTO REPAIR SHOP FOR INSPECTION BEFORE DRIVING ANY FURTHER. WAS TOLD THAT CAR HAD 4 BLOWN OUT STRUTS AND FRONT RIGHT WHEEL BEARING. THEY SAID THIS WAS UNUSUAL SINCE THE CAR ONLY HAD AROUND 47,000 MILES ON IT AND A NEWER VEHICLE FOR SUCH EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AND TOLD MUST REPAIR AS CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. REPAIR WAS $2,000 FOR PARTS THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BAD ON A CAR UNDER 50,000 MILES. SEARCHING VEHICLE ONLINE AND SAW THAT CHRYSLER HAD RECALLED 700,000 OF THE SAME MAKE/MODEL IN 2015 FOR FAULTY/DEFECTIVE STRUTS AND FRONT WHEEL BEARING. I CHECKED MY VIN AND THERE WERE NO RECALLS LISTED. I FIND IT STRANGE THAT 700,000 VEHICLES WERE RECALLED FOR THE VERY SAME ISSUE WE HAD WITH OUR CAR FOR THE SAME MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR. I CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY ONLY SAID MY VIN DID NOT HAVE ANY RECALLS AND I COULD REPORT IT ON THIS WEBSITE. THIS IS NOT RIGHT THAT OUR VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AS THIS COULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT AND ALSO SHOULD NOT BE OUR FAULT TO REPLACE ON A NEWER VEHICLE IF THE PARTS WERE KNOWN TO BE BAD. I HAVE ALSO SEEN OTHER RECALLS LISTED FOR SAME YEAR/MAKE/MODEL WITH TRANSMISSION WHICH ONCE AGAIN OUR VEHICLE HAS SYMPTOMS YET NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL EITHER. IT SEEMS LIKE AN ERROR HAS BEEN MADE HERE AND NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED.
I WAS PULLING IN AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WENT ON BY ITSELF
TWO DAYS AGO MY CAR RANDOMLY TURNED THE BREAKING BREAK ON GOING IN REVERSE I THOUGHT I HIT SOMETHING BUT REALLY MY CAR TURNED ON THE PARKING BREAK I DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING OF IT BUT IN THE SAME DAY BUT DIFFERENT TIME IT DID IT AGAIN ALSO WHEN I MEAN TURNED ON THE PARKING BREAK I MEAN IT WAS COMPLETELY ON AND STOPPED MY CAR FROM MOVING. NOW TODAY I WAS DRIVING I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WENT TO GO PULL OFF AND MY BREAKING BREAK CAME ON AND I COULDN'T MOVE MY CAR UNTIL I TURNED IT OFF SAME WITH WHEN I WENT IN REVERSE. I'M CURRENTLY ON VACATION 33 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME IN CALIFORNIA AND I'M SCARED I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET MY CAR BACK AND MYSELF AND FAMILY HOME SAFELY IN THIS CAR COME SATURDAY AND HONESTLY I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE IT NOW BECAUSE IT DOES IT RANDOMLY WITH ZERO WARNING.
WHEN I PURCHASE THE VEHICLE THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ON AND HAVEN'T WENT OFF YET AND I HAD THE VEHICLE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020. ALSO WHEN IT RAINS FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND I USE MY WIND SHIELD WIPERS THEY WILL NOT GO OFF I HAVE TO TAKE THE FUSE OUT FOR THEM TO STOP FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. I'VE SPOKE WITH THE PLACE I GOT THE CAR FROM AND THEY STARTED THAT THE WARRANTY DOESN'T COVER THE ISSUES THAT THE CAR PREVIOUSLY HAD BEFORE I PURCHASED IT WITHIN THE 30 DAYS I PURCHASE THE CAR AS WELL.
Misfire on #6 cylinder only has 85,000 miles. Mechanic said my engine needs to be replace with new engine
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, THE TRANSMISSION SEIZED IN NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
ON AUGUST 23RD, I WAS TAKING MY SISTER IN LAW BACK HOME FROM OUR HOUSE. ON THE WAY BACK FROM HER HOUSE I DECIDED TO WASH MY 15 CHRYSLER 200. WHEN I AS DONE WITH THAT TASK AND GOT BACK IN THE CAR. I NOTICED MY BRAKES WOULDN'T DISENGAGE. I TRIED TO DO THE MAINTENANCE RELEASE THROUGH THE CAR'S RADIO AND IT WOULDN'T LET ME DO IT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. SO I THEN TRIED TO TURN OFF AND ON THE CAR AND THAT DIDN'T WORK. SO THEN I THOU MAYBE IF I DROVE IT, THEY WOULD RELEASE AND JUST AS I HIT 45MPH, THEY DID. AND STARTED TO PREFORM NORMALLY. AN HOUR LATER, I STOPPED BY MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HOUSE TO TAKE CAR OF HER DOGS LIKE I'VE BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS AND WHEN I WAS READY TO LEAVE. THE CAR BATTERY DIED. I'M NOT QUITE SURE HOW CAUSE I DON'T LEAVE MY LIGHTS ON EVER. AND I SAT THERE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO TOW IT TO THE STORE WITH CAR BATTERY AND HAD THEM SWITCHED. THEY CAME TO TELL ME THAT THEY COULDN'T GET THE CAR OUT OF GEAR. SO I WENT OUT THERE TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG AND THEY WERE RIGHT. THE CAR WAS RUNNING FINE BUT I COULDN'T GET IT TO CHANGE GEARS. ON MY DASHBOARD. MY SMALL SCREEN SAID TO SERVICE THE PARK BRAKE AND I THOUGHT, WHAT THAT THE BRAKES GOT TO DO WITH IT'S TRANSMISSION. I LOOKED AND SAW MY MILEAGE, 93,568, WAS BLINKING AND MY GEAR INDICATOR AS N. I'M PRETTY SURE THAT THE CAR WAS IN PARK THE HOLE TIME THEY WHERE CHANGING OUT THE BATTERY. THE SHIFTER NOB WAS ABLE TO TURN BUT I WASN'T CHANGING THE GEAR EITHER. SO AFTER THAT, I RELEASED THE PARKING BRAKE, THAT'S SOMEHOW MADE THE CARE SHOW IT WAS IN DRIVE, AND HAD IT TOWED BACK TO MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HOUSE.
PUSH BUTTON IS NOT WORKING CAR STARTS SOMETIME MESSAGE ON DASHBOARD SAYS CAR IS WARMING WAIT TO START WHEN YOU PUSH THE BREAK IN TO START THE CAR THE BRAKE IS SUPER HARD LIKE THERE IS NO POWER GETTING TO IT
INSTRUMENT PANEL INCLUDING ALL GAUGES FLASH AND THEN TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. AFTER A LITTLE WHILE THEY COME IN ON BUT WHILE THEY ARE OFF, THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW HOW FAST THE VEHICLE IS MOVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION WHILE IN A RURAL AREA, ALSO ON A HIGHWAY AND IN THIS INSTANCE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS OFF FOR 2 MINUTES AND IT HAS HAPPENED ON A REGULAR ROADWAY. I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE ISSUE IN ACTION IF NEEDED BUT I HOPE THE PICTURE HELPS AS WELL. THE MOST RECENT TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED ARE AUGUST 6TH, AUGUST 13TH, AND AUGUST 15TH. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED JULY 20TH, 2020.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON STATING THAT I NEED TO SERVICE MY AIRBAG SYSTEM. IT WILL STAY ON FOR AWHILE, AND THEN SHUT OFF FOR APPROX 2-4 WEEKS, AND THEN TURN BACK ON AGAIN. TODAY I WAS DRIVING MY CAR, AND WHEN I GOT TO A STOP SIGN MY CAR KIND OF SPUTTERED, AND THEN TURNED OFF STATING I NEED TO PUT MY CAR IN PARK, AND PUSH THE START BUTTON. THIS SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN MY CAR SAYS "OIL CHANGE REQUIRED". PRETTY SCARY, BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL HAPPEN WHEN IM DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY.

THE CAR SHIFT TO NEUTRAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING AND SLOWS DOWN. THE LIGHT COMES ON IN STATES THAT SERVICE TRANSMISSION SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM SERVICE PARKING BRAKE. WHEN YOU PUT THE DB SCANNER ON IT IT SAYS THAT A WHEEL SENSOR IS THE ONLY PROBLEM. WHEN A NEW WHEEL SENSORS PUT ON THERE THE SAME PROBLEM RECURRS.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC A FORTH TIME AND WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT CALLED DOTHAN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT (4074 ROSS CLARK CIR, DOTHAN, AL 36303), AND INFORMED THE DEALER OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.

THE ELECTRIC PART KEEPS GOING OUT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. I AM NOT ABOUT ABLE TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE CAR, UNABLE TO LET THE WINDOWS UP OR DOWN AND UNABLE TO ADJUST THE SIDE MIRRORS. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS HOME TRYING TO LET THE WINDOW UP AND IT WOULD GO UP. THE NEXT TWO TIMES IT STOPPED AT WORK AND WOULDN'T GO DOWN WHILE I WAS TRYING TO BADGE IN. I HAVE REPLACED THE PART THREE TIMES AND NOW IT IS BACK NOT WORKING

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 77,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS DEFECTIVE. THERE IS AN ACTIVE LAWSUIT PENDING REGARDING RECALL BUT MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED.
BASED ON EXPERIENCE, THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE WITHIN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE CAR WILL SHUT OFF FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE MIRRORS AND LOCKS HAVE STOPPED WORKING. IT SEEMS THE PROBLEM MAY BE THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER (PDC) ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR THAT MAY CAUSE INTERMITTENT POWER FAILURES TO CERTAIN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS.
Car randomly accelerates on it's own. Typically when I am trying to come to a stop. Happened to the mechanic when he test drove it. Did not know what to do about it. Service airbag light also on for seemingly no reason.

SHIFTING IN MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200C AWD IS HORRIBLE. THE ROUGH SHIFTING IS USUALLY HAPPENS BETWEEN 3RD OR LATER GEARS. THE ROUGH SHIFTING HAS CAUSED ME TO THINK THAT I WAS REARED ENDED BUT ITS JUST THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTING. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE ROUGH SHIFTING OCCURS, I MUST BE EXTRA CAREFUL BECAUSE MY CAR WILL JERK WHILE ON GOING OVER 50 MPH WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS. THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN NO HELP AS NO LIGHT WAS ON. I HAVE OWED MY VEHICLE FOR JUST OVER 3 YEARS NOW AND THIS WAS ALWAYS A PROBLEM. IT WAS SHIFTING ROUGH WHEN I BROUGHT IT WITH 10K MILES ON IT BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS A NEWER VEHICLE AS IT WAS MY FIRST NEW CAR PURCHASE. I AM CURRENTLY AROUND 57500 MILES NOW AND IT STILL OCCURS. I HAVE READ MANY CHRYSLER 200 OWNERS COMPLAIN OF THE ROUGH SHIFTING ON THE NEW 9 SPEED TRANSMISSION.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.

A LIGHT IS ON THAT IS CALLED SERV AWD. I LOOKED IT UP WHICH MEANS SERVICE THE AWD. I NOTICED IT BEFORE I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP JULY 2020 FOR MY YEARLY INSPECTION AND EMISSIONS STICKER AS REQUIRED BY MY STATE. THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT MENTION TO ME THAT THE SERV AWD WAS ON. I KNOW THAT MY AWD IS CURRENTLY DISABLED.
ON MAY 15, 2020 WHILE ATTEMPTING TO BACK OUT OF A PARKING SPOT AT THE POST OFFICE MY CAR DINGED AT ME. THE DASH NOTIFICATION TOLD ME TO PULL OVER IN SAFE SPOT, PARK CAR, AND SHIFT INTO PARK, AND SERVICE SHIFTER LIGHT CAME ON. I WAS ONLY 2 MILES FROM MY HOME SO I PROCEEDED HOME AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER. I EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN. I ASKED IF IT WAS OKAY TO DRIVE AND THEY SAID YES. I SCHEDULED TO TAKE IT IN THE FOLLOWING MORNING. THE MECHANIC LOOKED AT IT AND ASKED ME IF I HAD CHANGED THE TRANSMISSION. NO SAME TRANSMISSION AS WAS IN IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT. THEY TRIED TELLING ME THAT THE SOFTWARE DID NOT MATCH THE TRANSMISSION AND NEEDED A SOFTWARE UPDATE, WHICH THEY DID AND ALLEGEDLY RETESTED IT. EVERYTHING FINE NOW THEY SAID. YESTERDAY, JUNE 9, 2020, I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND THE CAR STARTED DINGING AT ME. THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON AND DASH NOTIFICATION TO SERVICE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR STARTING LOSING POWER AND DID NOT WANT TO MOVE WITH THE TRANSMISSION WANTING TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL. CAME TO STOP LIGHT AND CAR DID NOT WANT TO MOVE. I HAD CARS BEHIND ME THAT ALMOST HIT ME BECAUSE MY CAR SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL. IT STARTED MOVING THEN SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT HOME (ONLY 1 MILE) AND TRIED TO BACK IT INTO DRIVEWAY. DASH SAID TO SHIFT INTO PARK AND THEN DESIRED GEAR SO I DID. NOTHING!!!! IT WOULD NOT REGISTER REVERSE. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET BLOCKING AN ONCOMING CAR. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT REGISTER NEUTRAL AND IT ROLLED BACK SO THE CAR COULD GET PAST ME. AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON IT FINALLY REGISTERED REVERSE AND I GOT IT IN THE DRIVEWAY. CALL DEALERSHIP TO TELL THEM. THEY SAY NO RECALL, NOTHING WRONG. SERIOUSLY??? THIS IS A RECALL ISSUE EVEN IF MY VIN ISN'T LISTED AS THEY CLAIM. THE CAR SHIFTS TO NEUTRAL AS YOU ARE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. FIX THIS ISSUE AND RECALL ALL OF THEM. *TR
