WHILE DRIVING OR ACCELERATING, THE CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM LIGHT POPS UP ON DASH SCREEN AND WILL SHUT OFF, NOT BEING ABLE TO DRIVE. *TR
CAR WILL STALL OUT WHILE DRIVING AND CAR WILL REMAIN STUCK IN NEUTRAL. DASHBOARD LIGHTS WITH FLICKER OFF AND STAY OFF BEFORE STALLING. CAR WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF IN TRAFFIC WITH NO WARNING. I HAVE READ VARIOUS RECALLS ON SAME MAKE AND MODEL AND YEAR CAR. THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS TURNING A CORNER AND I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED BECAUSE I HAD NO TIME TO PUT ON EMERGENCY BLINKERS. WHEN THE LIGHTS COME BACK ON THE DASH IT SAYS POWER STEERING SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE. I CAN START THE CAR AGAIN BUT ABOUT ANOTHER 2-4 MILES IT REPEATS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR BOTH ME AND MY FAMILY. *TR

CAR RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AND WILL EITHER BE ABLE TO TURN BACK ON OR WON'T TURN OVER AT ALL FOR DAYS. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING MULTIPLE TIMES. BROUGHT IT INTO THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BATTERY. BATTERY REPLACED ISSUE IS STILL HAPPENING. VERY U SAFE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AT START-UP, THE AIR BAGS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THAT THE SEAT BELT WAS ENGAGED WHICH CAUSED A SEAT BELT WARNING MESSAGE TO DISPLAY ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT CONTACTED THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO SOLD HER THE VEHICLE AND WAS REFERRED TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO A LOCAL DEALER FOR ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT THEN REACHED OUT TO LANDMARK DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (6850 MT ZION BLVD, MORROW, GA 30260) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V114000(AIR BAGS, SEATS). THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,233.*DT*JB*DT*JB
I WAS DRIVING AROUND A CURVE GOING 15 MPH AND MY CAR JUST STALLED OUT ON ME. I TRIED TO RESTART MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T, JUST STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I TRIED TO START THE CAR AND UNABLE TO DO SO. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I WAS ABLE TO START THE VEHICLE AND GET BACK HOME. I TRIED TO DRIVE MY CAR A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER AND THR CAR STALLED ON MY AND THE STOP LIGHT AND THEN AGAIN AT THE STREET LIGHT. THANK GOD I DIDN'T HAVE MY KIDS IN THE CAR. THIS IS REALLY UNSAFE AND NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED.
JANUARY 13,2017 I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE FROM CARITE DEALERSHIP. ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE MONTHS LATER I HAD AN ISSUE COME SAYING SERVICE TRANSMISSION. MY CAR IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO STALL AND NOT SWITCH INTO GEAR WHILE ON THE FREEWAY. I HAD TO SWITCH LANES AND IT WASN'T EASY SEEING THAT CARS WAS GOING 70 MILES IN SPEED. EVENTUALLY I GOT OFF TO SIDE STREET THEN POWERED THE CAR DOWN. TRIED STARTING IT AND IT WOULDN'T MOVE. I WAITED AN HOUR BEFORE THE CAR STARTED NEXT DAY TO THE DEALERSHIP I GO TO ONLY BE TOLD THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. THIS ISSUE WILL HAPPEN OCCASIONALLY MORE SO DURING SUMMER. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP STILL THEY SEE NOTHING WRONG BUT A THROTTLE BODY LIKE SERIOUSLY. I COMPLAINED THAT IT WAS STILL AN ISSUE AND DEMANDED IT BE FIXED. THEY SAID IT'S NO PROBLEM. I HAVEN'T TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP SINCE BECAUSE I WAS TRIED OF THE RUN AROUND AND THEM SAYING IT'S NOTHING WRONG. MY CAR DOES THIS FREQUENTLY MAINLY ON THE HIGHWAY WHERE IT'S UNSAFE TO BE DOING SO. I'VE EVEN HAD PROBLEMS WHERE THE CAR DOESN'T START UP TILL THE NEXT DAY. I HAD PROBLEMS WHERE THE WHEN IT'S TIME FOR AN OIL CHANGE THAT IT EVENTUALLY SHUTDOWNS DOWN. WHILE DRIVING THAT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE JERKS WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS DEPRESSED BUT THE VEHICLE FAILS TO ACCELERATE. ALSO I NOTICED THE VEHICLE DIDN'T COME WITH RUBBER ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IT WAS COMPLETELY METAL AND MY FOOT WAS SLIDING WHILE DRIVING SO I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND TRIED TO GET IT REPLACED BUT THEY SAID THAT IS WAS A COST SAVING ISSUE AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT SINCE NONE OF THE CARS CAME WITH THIS SO I PURCHASED A STAINLESS STEEL PEDAL COVER KIT BUT I'M STILL HAVING ISSUES WHILE DRIVING WITH THE ACCELERATOR ON THIS VEHICLE WHILE ON THE FREEWAY BECAUSE IT HARD ACCELERATOR AT HIGH SPEEDS WITHOUT THE GRIP OF THE RUBBER.
I have had my car since March 2020 and have continuously had to have my car in shop for o2 sensor, or camshaft sensor #6 This is causing safety issues and concern with engine as the light has been on but the only issue is while driving and my children are in vehicle will it just stop working on me in mid-traffic? I’ve asked several times over years and dealership cannot pinpoint recall yet my mechanic has been able to identify specified recall it’s just not assigned or tied directly to my VIN

CROWN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP (3710 W. WENDOVER AVE, GREENSBORO, NC 27407) WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS NEEDED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SEEN BY A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE BUT, WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. MY CAR JERKS WHEN ACCELERATING SINCE 2017 OIL CONSTANTLY LINKING FROM OIL COOLER AND FILTER ASSEMBLY HESITATE DURING ACCELERATION. *TR
WE TURNED ONTO A MAIN ROAD AND WE WERE IN FRONT OF TRAFFIC DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. WE HAD TO APPLY THE BRAKES DUE TO SOMEONE CUTTING US OFF, THEN WHEN WE TRIED TO ACCELERATE AGAIN IT SHUT OFF AND SAID SHIFT TO PARK WHILE WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD. THE CAR BEHIND US ALMOST CRASHED INTO US AND HAD TO SWERVE AWAY FROM US. WE HAD NO CONTROL OVER OUR VEHICLE, ALL WE COULD DO IS TRY TO GET THE CAR TO TURN BACK ON, TO GET OUT OF TRAFFIC. HOWEVER, WE TRIED TO AND THE CAR WASN?T FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. THE D FOR THE DRIVE POSITION WAS BLINKING. WE HAD TO COMPLETELY STOP THE CAR, IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC, AND HOPE THAT WE DIDN?T GET HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC COMING FROM BEHIND US DUE TO HAVING TO CONTROL OVER OUR VEHICLE. WE PUSHED THE BUTTON TO THE IGNITION/START TO START IT AND IT WOULDN?T START IT. IT SOUNDED LIKE IT HAD NO POWER AT ALL AND THEN AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS, WHILE EXPOSED AND DEFENSELESS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH MY FAMILY, IT FINALLY STARTED AND WE GOT GOING AGAIN. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, HOWEVER, IT?S THE FIRST TIME IT HAS WITH MY FAMILY IN THE CAR. MAY 5, 2020. I WENT TO START MY CAR & IT SAYS THE ENGINE IS TOO HOT TO START. STRANGE. THE NEXT DAY IT SAYS THE SAME THING SO I CALL A TOW TRUCK TO TAKE IT TO PEP BOYS. THE CAR WAS STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WOULDN'T RELEASE SO THEY WERE UNABLE TO TOW IT. THEY GIVE ME A JUMP START & I TAKE IT TO PEP BOYS. THEY TEST THE BATTERY & SHOWED IT WAS JUST FINE. I SEEMED TO HAVE NO PROBLEMS SOON AFTER LEAVING. LATER THAT NIGHT, I WENT OUT TO CHECK ON IT JUST TO MAKE SURE IT WAS WORKING. ONCE AGAIN IT WOULDN'T START. THEN I NOTICED THE DASHBOARD MENU HAD A BLACK SCREEN & WOULDN'T TURN ON. I KEPT TRYING TO TURN THE CAR OFF & GIVE IT A FEW MINUTES BEFORE TURNING IT BACK ON. THEN THE AIR CONDITIONER STOPPED WORKING CORRECTLY ONCE I TURNED IT ON. THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE THE CAR WAS 100 DEGREES I THOUGHT THIS WAS CAUSING A PROBLEM FOR THE ENGINE SO I TRIED TO TURN IT OFF. IT KEPT BLOWING ONTO THE WINDSHIELD & WOULDN'T SHUT OFF UNTIL I TURNED THE CAR OFF. I TRIED TO START THE CAR & THE BATTERY WOULDN'T CRANK. IT JUST WAS STUCK ON RUN WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING. SO I WAS OFFICIALLY STRANDED AT HOME, BUT I'M GLAD IT HAPPENED AT HOME INSTEAD OF SOMEWHERE ELSE. I DON'T HAVE AAA SO I WASN'T SURE HOW I WOULD GET MY CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHICH IS AN HOUR FROM ME. THANKFULLY A RELATIVE CAME THROUGH & HELPED. BUT WHEN I INITIALLY WENT TO PICK UP THE CAR ON 5/13, ONCE AGAIN IT DIDN'T START. SO THEY KEPT IT FOR A FEW MORE DAYS TO SEE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM. IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM LIKE I THOUGHT. I NOW HAVE THE CAR TODAY & SO FAR ALL IS GOOD. HOWEVER I AM UPSET NO ONE TOLD ME THIS CAR HAD 8 RECALLS. BEFORE SELLING IT TO ME & I'M A NEW DRIVER! THIS HAS BEEN A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE & I FEAR THIS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. I'D LIKE TO HAVE IT RECALLED & REPLACE THIS WITH A NEW VEHICLE COMPLETELY. WHEN AT A STOP SIGN THE AND THE VEHICLE IS IN DRIVE THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES RAPIDLY. TURN IT IN A DIFFERENT GEAR IT STOPS. WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE IT HAS A DELAY; RPM WILL JUMP AND NOTHING HAPPENS. YOU RELEASE THE GAS AND THE CARS RPM DROPS AND CAR JERKS YOU INTO NEXT GEAR. WITH THIS THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE WHEN TRYING TO RAPIDLY ACCELERATE. THIS COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A WRECK OR A FATALITY DUE TO THE JERKING MOTION AND UNAWARE OF THE PROBLEM COULD CAUSE MAJOR INJURIES
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, a rattling and creaking noise was present coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the front passenger’s and driver’s side struts had fractured and needed to be replaced. The struts were replaced and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
QUITE A FEW TIMES NOW I HAVE BEEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD COMING TO A STOP AND MY VEHICLE JUST SHUTS OFF. OIL LIFE SAYS 30% BUT THE CAR STILL STALLS AND RUNS ROUGH. I'VE ALMOST BEEN IN 2 COLLISIONS BECAUSE OF THIS, AND I'VE PAID FOR 3 OF THE TOWS. THEY REPLACED MY ECU BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL HAPPENING.

ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS SINCE I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE IN 1/2018 I'VE EXPERIENCED ISSUES. WHEN PUTTING THE VEHICLE IN DRIVE IT WANTS TO STALL AS SOON AS I PRESS THE GAS AND PUTTERS ALONG UNTIL IT GETS ENOUGH ENERGY AND WHEN TRYING TO GAIN SPEED THE VEHICLE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH JUICE TO GO SUCH AS GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY, I NORMALLY HAVE TO DRIVE IN THE MEDIUM TO GET ENOUGH SPEED TO MOVE INTO THE TRAFFIC OTHERWISE I'M BOUND TO GET REAR ENDED. THE SLIGHTEST BUMP IN THE ROAD CAUSES MY AIRBAG LIGHT AND NOTIFICATION TO COME ON. WHILE PULLING AWAY FROM STOP SIGNS AND TRAFFIC LIGHTS THE VEHICLE TURNS OFF AND TAKES ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES TO START BACK UP , UNABLE TO MOVE STEERING WHEEL TO MOVE VEHICLE OUT OF TRAFFIC. LIGHTS ON THE INSIDE ( DASH, RADIO) DIM EXTREMELY LOW DURING DAYLIGHT UNABLE TO SEE ANYTHING. I'VE LEFT MY VEHICLE WITH A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP FOR 2 WEEKS TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC AND THEY COULDN'T REPLICATE OR FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND STILL CHARGED ME. WHEN THE PROBLEMS PERSISTED AND WERE MORE NOTICEABLE AND MORE OFTEN THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN WITH NO RESULTS. NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND VEHICLE JUST STAGGERS INSTEAD OF GAINING SPEED. *TR

AND HAS DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES.

THIS HAPPENS REPEATEDLY EVERY MORNING BEFORE GOING TO WORK. I WILL LET IT RUN FOR A MINUTE AND THEN DRIVE OFF BUT IT WILL STILL STALL ONCE I PULL UP TO THE STOP SIGN. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SCARY. I AM AFRAID IT MAY STALL AND I MAY GET HIT FROM BEHIND. I HAVE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURE FOR A RECALL BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE ON OUT THERE. THE ALTERNATOR HAS BEEN CHECKED BUT THE NOTHING SHOWS ANYTHING WRONG.
MY CAR HAS STARTED TO STALL RECENTLY. IT IS USUALLY WHEN COMING TO A STOP OR DECELERATING ALTHOUGH IT IS ALSO WHILE IN COMPLETE MOTION BUT COASTING. THERE IS NO WARNING SOUND, LIGHTS OR INDICATION. ONE MUST FIND A WAY TO GET OFF THE ROAD (IF POSSIBLE). THE CAR DOES NOT RE-START IMMEDIATELY. THE ONLY LIGHT ON DURING THIS TIME IS THE BATTERY LIGHT. HOWEVER, THE RADIO IS STILL PLAYING AND THE 'START' BUTTON SHOWS THE CAR IS IN THE 'RUN' POSITION. POWER STEERING IS ALSO LOST DURING THIS TIME. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS!
PURCHASED THIS CHRYSLER 2015 IN MARCH 2016. ODOMETER READ 28350. OCTOBER 2017 HIT A BUMP GOING TO WORK, AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT TURNS ON. HAD A LITTLE ANXIETY BUT W JUST THE RIGHT BUMPS LIGHT WOULD GO OFF FOR A PERIOD OF TIME. THIS CONTINUES UNTIL FEB OF 2020 WHEN I SEND THE CAR TO MY MECHANIC TO HAVE A THERMOSTAT HOUSING REPLACED AS WELL AS THAT DASH WARNING LIGHT THAT COMES AND GOES. MECHANIC REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT AND INFORMS ME THAT THE AIRBAG WARNING IS UNDER RECALL AND CHRYSLER WILL PAY FOR THAT. OK. I MAKE AN APPT AT THE DODGE DEALERSHIP IN GRESHAM OREGON AND THEY TELL ME AFTER A 4 HR DIAGNOSTIC THAT THE AIRBAG SAFETY HARNESSES UNDER THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS MAY NOT DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT. THAT I NEED TO REPLACE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE COST WILL BE $2705. HELLO CHRYSLER??? THIS SHOULD NOT BE MY PROBLEM OR AT LEAST MY SOLE PROBLEM. VEHICLE HASSTARTED STALLING IF I DO NOT LET IT RUN FOR 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO DRIVING. I HAVE HAD THE ALTERNATOR, STARTER, AND BATTRY CHECKED. EVERYONE SAYS THEY ARE FINE. AFTER MY BATTERY DIED FROM THE COLD AND MY ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND SEE EVERYONE ELSE HAS AS WELL. I WANT A RESOLUTION IMMEDIATELY ASS IT HAPPENS MOSTLY AS I AM ACCELERATING TO TURN CORNERS OR GO AT LIGHTS WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
AS I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE VEHICLE WILL COMPLETELY STALL OUT. THE FIRST TIME IT JUST SEEMED TO HAVE HAD A DEAD BATTERY. I GOT A JUMP IT WAS FINE. AFTER THAT THE TRANSMISSION DIED SO I HAD TO STOP THE CAR TURN IT BACK ON AND MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ON BUT IT DROVE FINE. THREE DAYS LATER, IT DIES AGAIN WHILE DRIVING. BOTH TIMES IT HAD DIED WHILE BEING DRIVEN ELECTRONICALLY WERE ON 55MPH ROADS. THE TIME MY TRANSMISSION DIED IT WAS RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM MY HOUSE SO I WASN'T GOING TOO FAST.
FRIDAY MORNING ON FEBRUARY 28TH 2020 I WAS DRIVING MY CHRYSLER 200 TO WORK. I WAS ON A BUSY STREET THAT NAVIGATES THROUGH DOWNTOWN WHERE I WORK AT. THE SPEED LIMIT IS 35MPH. AS I WAS CONTINUING TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD MY CAR SHUT OFF MID DRIVE . I LOST CONTROL OF MY POWER STEERING AS WELL AS MY BREAKS. A CAR THAT WAS DRIVING BEHIND ME ALMOST REAR ENDED ME DUE TO THE LACK OF WARNING FOR THE ABRUPT STOP . THIS WAS A VERY TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE, GOING FROM 35 MPH TO 0 MPH , WITH NO CONTROL OF THE WHEEL OR BREAKS , I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT LET THE CAR COAST AND WAVE MY HANDS OUT THE DRIVERS WINDOW TO SIGNAL CARS BEHIND ME TO SLOW DOWN AND NOT HIT ME. MY CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION, WHERE I BLOCKED BUSY TRAFFIC FOR OVER 45 MINUTES WAITING ON THE TOW TRUCK I HAD TO CALL . THE CAR WOULDN'T START BACK UP WHEN I TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO RESTART IT AS THE CAR WAS STUCK IN NEUTRAL WITH BLINKING LIGHTS APPEARING ON THE DASHBOARD TELLING ME TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK , WHICH I COULDN'T BECAUSE THE GEARS LOCKED UP AND WOULDN'T MOVE. AS A CONSUMER THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IT'S UNSAFE . I WAS 1 HOUR LATE TO WORK AND I TRAVEL WITH MY CHILDREN IN THIS CAR . I LOVED MY CHRYSLER AND I'M VERY SAD THAT I NOW HAVE TO LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT CAR SINCE I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CHRYSLER 200, THINGS LIKE THIS MAKES THE VEHICLE SEEM VERY UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE.
THE CAR WILL SWITCH INTO NEUTRAL WITHOUT NOTICE WHILE DRIVING OR JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO IT STALLED OUT ON THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT NOTICE JUST DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR ENGINE WAS OFF AND ITS TELLING ME TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK TO START IT. I WENT TO START THE VEHICLE AND IT JUST RAPIDLY SHUTTERS AND TRIES TO START FOR ABOUT A MINUTE THEN STOPS AND DINGS AT ME.
CAR CONSTANTLY STALLS OUT AND OR SHUTS OFF WHILE IN IDLE. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS SEEING HOW IT DOES IT IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY TRAFFIC.
MY CAR HAS BEEN HAVING ELECTRONIC PROBLEMS. I TRIED TO START IT AT MY HOUSE AND IT WOULDN'T START. AFTER JUMPING IT, IT STARTED BUT IT WOULDN'T SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS THE PARKING BRAKE, TRACTION CONTROL, AND PERFORMANCE SHIFTING UNAVAILABLE. I UNHOOKED THE BATTERY IN HOPES IT WOULD HELP SOMETHING THEN WHEN I RESTARTED IT IT'S STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND WON'T SHIFT INTO PARK.
VEHICLE SHAKES WHEN IDLING,PARKED,STOPPED OR WHEN NOT IN MOTION. RPMS DROPS BELOW 1 WHEN IN PARK AND THIS BEGINS THE VEHICLE TO SHAKE. VEHICLE STRUGGLES TO GAIN SPEED IN WHICH, IT STAYS MODERATED THEN ACCELERATES AT ONCE. AS WELL AS, AT RANDOM TIMES VEHICLE WILL JERK UNEXPECTEDLY WHILE IN MOTION. ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER A PERIOD OF A YEAR AND JUST RECENTLY, SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT HAS FINALLY CAME ON. I HAVE HAD MAINTENANCE DONE ON MY END TO HELP FIX THE ISSUES AND NOTHING CAN BE RESOLVED.
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200 ABRUPTLY LOSES ALL POWER IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD. THE BATTERY HAS BEEN TEST AND WAS FULLY CHARGED, THE ALTERNATOR IS COMPLETELY FINE. ALSO WHEN THE CAR SHUT OFF THE HAZARDS WOULDN'T EVEN WORK..AND LEAVES ME TO BELIEVE IF I WERE TO HAVE GOTTEN INTO AN ACCIDENT THAT DAY THE AIRBAGS WOULDN'T HAVE DEPLOYED. I AM HONESTLY TERRIFIED TO GET BACK INTO THAT CAR FOR SAFETY REASONS..THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. ONE WEEK AFTER BUYING THE CAR THE LOW BEAMS WORK WHENEVER THEY WANT TO. TOO MANY PROBLEMS!!

THE VEHICLE RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. I CAN WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND IT STARTS BACK AND RUNS FINE.
DURING THE PAST 2 MONTHS THE CAR STARTED TURNING OFF JUST MINUTES AFTER WE DROVE IT OFF THE PARKING LOT. AT NIGHT THE CAR WOULD BE LEFT OVERNIGHT PARKED LIKE ANY OTHER REGULAR CAR. THEN ME AND MY SPOUSE WOULD WARM UP THE CAR BEFORE WE WOULD HEAD TO WORK AND THEN WE WOULD DRIVE OFF. THE CAR WOULD WARM UP AFTER WE TURNED IT ON AND IT WOULD WORK GOOD, IT WOULD NOT DIE. UNTIL WE ACTUALLY CHANGED GEARS AND TURNED TO DRIVE IT OFF THE PARKING LOT WE WOULD DRIVE OFF A FEW STREETS AND IT WOULD COMPLETELY DIE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREETS ATLEAST A F3 OR 4 DAYS OUT OF THE 7 DAY WEEK. WE CHANGED THE BATTERY ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND WE WENT BACK TO AUTOZONE BUT THEY TESTED THE BATTERY AND SAID IT WAS 100% CHARGED SO THE ISSUE WASN'T THE BATTERY. WE WENT TO THE DEALER BUT THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE US OVER 1,000 BECAUSE OF A VACUUM CHANGE IN THE SYSTEM THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAR DYING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. IT'S BEEN 2 MONTHS ALREADY AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. USUALLY IT SHUTS OFF WHEN WE DECELERATE THE CAR NOT ACCELERATE
THE EMERGENCY BRAKE RANDOMLY SETS ITSELF WHEN THE CAR IS IN SLOW DRIVE; SUCH AS BACKING UP OR SLOWLY MOVING FORWARD. LAST INCIDENT WAS 2/18/2020; HOWEVER, IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY.

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REAR LOWER CONTROL ARMS WERE DEFECTIVE. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE BENCHMARK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE LOCATED AT (1837 GRANTS MILL RD, BIRMINGHAM, AL 35210 (205) 957-1313) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE REAR LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND BUSHINGS WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THERE WAS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
ABOUT DEC. 20, 2019 I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH OF MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200 WHEN I STARTED IT. I WENT TO A MECHANIC TO FIX IT; BUT HE DIDN'T DO THAT KIND OF WORK AND RECOMMENDED ANOTHER MECHANIC IN A NEARBY TOWN. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY (FEB. 17, 2020). THE TROUBLE-CODE WAS: B0020-13. HE CALLED TO GET THE REQUIRED PARTS, AND WAS QUOTED $1,074.00 PLUS 7% TAX AND LABOR OF $100.00. HE LOOKED ON COMPUTER AND FOUND THAT BOTH SIDES OF THE SEAT-SENSOR-HARNESS SHOULD BE CALIBRATED TOGETHER. IN OTHER WORDS, THE PRICE DOUBLES TO $2.500.00 FOR BOTH SEAT-SENSOR-HARNASSES! IT IS A "SAFETY ISSUE" THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IN A CAR THAT IS ONLY 5 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS OLD (THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE IS APRIL 2015). WE LOOKED-UP THE PROBLEM ONLINE AND FOUND RECALL # 16V114000 WHICH STATES THAT IF ONE SEAT HARNESS NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, THEN, BOTH MUST BE REPLACED AND CALIBRATED AS A SINGLE UNIT, THEREBY DOUBLING THE COST! I CALLED CHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403 WITH MY VIN NUMBER AND SHE SAID THAT MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT INCLUDED (ACTUALLY, THE RECALL ONLY APPLIES TO ONLY 78 VEHICLES). BUT AFTER TELLING HER THAT IT WAS A "SAFETY ISSUE" THAT I COULDN'T AFFORD TO PAY FOR, SHE GAVE ME A "GOODWILL ASSISTANCE CASE NUMBER". I WAS TOLD THAT THEY "MIGHT" HELP; AND TO CALL MY CHRYSLER DEALER AND GIVE THAT NUMBER TO THEM. I DID SO AND THEY SAID THEY WILL CALL ME 'SOON'. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.. THEY DON'T LIKE TO TELL YOU MUCH; BUT I'M HOPING TO HAVE IT FIXED QUICKLY, IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THAT MIGHT DISABLE, OR KILL, ME! THANK YOU!

TOOK MY VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO HAS SHOWN ME PROOF MY VEHICLE STILL HAS A RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE. WHENEVER I WOULD START IT AND SHIFT TO DRIVE OR REVERSE I CAN NO LONGER SHIFT INTO BACK INTO PARK. I HAVE TO ENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE, PUSH THE START/STOP BUTTON TO KILL THE ENGINE WHICH GOES INTO THE RUN POSITION THEN PUSH IT AGAIN WHICH GOES TO THE START POSITION, FINALLY THE THIRD PUSH TURNS THE CAR OFF.
