TRANSMISSION COOLING HOSE FAILED. *BF *NM
DT: THE CONTACT STATED WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING, LOSES POWER, AND NOISE CAME FROM THE ENGINE. THIS OCCURRED AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE FIRST TIME THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FOR REPAIRS THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE SECOND TIME, THEY REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS, CLEANED THE FUEL SYSTEM ,AND THE VALVE. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE VEHICLE IN THE SAME MANNER WHEN THE PROBLEM RETURNED THE THIRD TIME. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT RECURRED. *AK
2005 CHRYSLER 300 WITH IGNITION PROBLEM. CONSUMER STATES THAT AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS COMPLETED. SHE CONTINUED TO HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE WITH THE EAS LIGHT INDICATOR. *NJ THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THERE WAS AN OPEN CIRCUIT IN THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE CONSUMER STATED THE PROBLEM BECAME MORE SERIOUS WHICH CAUSED THE STEERING WHEEL TO VIOLENTLY VIBRATE IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER INFORMED THE CONSUMER THE TIE ROD END WAS BROKEN AND THE STRUTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.*JB
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED VEHICLE TENDED TO VEER TO THE RIGHT. *AK
THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND STAYED ON . THE DEALER RESET THE COMPUTER AND A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER THE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AGAIN. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *JB
VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH OR MORE. VEHICLE HAD BEEN TO DEALER ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. DEALER INFORMED CONSUMER THAT WAS THE NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THAT VEHICLE.*AK VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. *TC
DT: THE CAR HAS BEEN IN REPAIR SHOP 7 TIMES FOR THE AIR BAG LIGHT BEING ON. DEALER CLAIMED AIR BAG LIGHT WAS FIXED. BUT AS SOON AS THE CONSUMER LEFT THE DEALERSHIP THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. DEALERSHIP KEEPS PUTTING THE CONSUMER ON HOLD, AND WILL NOT CALL BACK. IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS TILTED THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON. OWNER HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR SINCE HE BOUGHT IT. ALSO, BRAKES HAVE A BEEN A PROBLEM , AS WELL AS THE SUN ROOF. *AK
THE VEHICLE WOULD PULL TO THE RIGHT WHEN DRIVING (5-65 MPH). THE VEHICLE BOUNCED AND LOST STEERING CONTROL WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. DEALER HAD ROTATED THE FRONT TIRES AND TIGHTENED THE FRONT SUSPENSION. *JB MANY CONSUMERS OF THE SAME VEHICLE HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THERE VEHICLES PULLING TO THE RIGHT AS YOU DRIVE AND BRAKE. *TC
DT: THE CONSUMER OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300C. THE CAR SITS TOO LOW ON THE GROUND. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ALTER THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM THIS IS JUST THE WAY THE CAR IS MADE. WHILE GETTING OFF OF A TURN PIKE THERE WAS A TURTLE COMING ACROSS THE ROAD BUT IT WAS BETWEEN THE TIRES AND THE BOTTOM OF HIS CAR, THE VEHICLE SCRAPPED OVER THE TURTLE. AGAIN WHILE DRIVING IT WAS RAINING THE CONSUMER WAS IN THE MIDDLE LANE THE CAR IN FRONT RAN OVER SOMETHING AND HE HIT IT AND IT WEDGED UNDER HIS CAR HE COULD NOT TURN LEFT OR RIGHT HE HAD TO DRIVE A QUARTER MILE TO GET OFF THE ROAD AND HE COULD NOT GET UNDER THE CAR SO HE HIT IT WITH A GOLF CLUB AND LATER FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS A HARD HAT THAT GOT STUCK. *JB
VEHICLE VEERS TO THE RIGHT TAKING BACK FOR REPAIR. *AK
WAS PARKED IN POST OFFICE PARKING LOT AND OTHER PATRON BACKING OUT OF SPOT. WENT TO HONK HORN TO WARN THEM TO LOOK UP BUT THE HORN DID NOT WORK. RESULT WAS BUMPER SMASHING. IGNITION HAS TO BE ON FOR HORN TO WORK IN THIS CAR. IS CHRYSLER 2005 300C. *NM
CHRYSLER 300C . POOR HEADLIGHTS, UNABLE TO SEE HIGHWAY REFLECTORS NO ROAD ILLUMINATION. *AK
INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING ON CALIFORNIA FREEWAY BETWEEN 55 TO 65 MPH VEHICLE STALLED . THIS CAUSED LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKES. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES, BUT COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK
CAR HAS BEEN OUT OF ALINEMENT SINCE DAY OF PURCHASE. HAVE HAD IT WORKED ON BY DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES, BY MULTIPLE DEALERS. WAS TOLD THAT WAS AS GOOD AS IT WAS GOING TO GET. *AK
MY CHRYSLER 300 HAS LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON IT AND I HAVE BEEN AT THE DEALER THREE TIMES FOR A FRONT ALIGNMENT PROBLEM, CAR PULLS TO THE RIGHT. DURING FIRST VISIT I WAS TOLD ALIGNMENT CHECKS OK, THEY ALL PULL TO THE RIGHT. DURING SECOND VISIT DEALER INSTALLED CHRYSLER BULLETIN (OFF SET BOLTS) TO CORRECT LEFT LEAD PROBLEM. ALIGNMENT IMPROVED BUT STILL PULLS TO RIGHT. DURING THIRD VISIT DEALER TOLD ME EVERTHING CHECKS OK NOTHING ELSE CAN BE DONE AND THE CAR PULLS RIGHT OR LEFT BECAUSE OF THE CROWN IN THE ROAD (WHICH IS BULL). I BELIEVE THIS TO BE A HAZARDOUS CONDITION BECAUSE CONSTANCE PRESSURE MUST BE KEPT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO KEEP THE CAR FROM DRIFTING INTO THE RIGHT FREEWAY LANES. CHRYSLER SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO REPLACE IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED/DEFECTIVE FRONT END COMPONENTS. *AK
THE HORN IS VERY HARD TO BLOW, AND WHEN THE KEY IS NOT IN THE VEHICLE THE HORN WON'T BLOW AT ALL. . CONSUMER IS CONCERNED IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY HE CANNOT USE THE HORN TO GET HELP.*AK.....THE THICK VINYL/RUBBER HORN PAD HAS SEVERAL AREAS WHERE THE HORN DOES NOT BLOW. ESSENTIALLY, THERE ARE ONLY TWO SPOTS ON THE ENTIR EPAD WHERE THE HORN ACTIVATES. IT IS POORLY DESIGNED. *AK
I FILLED UP THE GAS TANK AND WHEN I LEFT THE GAS STATION, ABOUT 1 MILE AWAY THE CAR STALLED AND I HAD TO DRIFT OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND GET IT STARTED AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER SHIP AND THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG. IT IS A CONTINUING PROBLEM. I FOUND OUT THAT IT IS A VALVE IN THE GAS TANK THAT WENT BAD. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED UNDER WARRANTY. IT SEEMS THAT IT SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL. IT IS DANGEROUS WHEN A CAR STALLS PULLING OUT ON TO A BUSY HIGHWAY.
CHRYSLER 300C PULL, DRIFT AND REAR END BANG ISSUE. *MR THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT AND WHEN IT WAS PLACED IN REVERSE, AT TIMES, A BANG NOISE AND OR GRIND WAS HEARD BEFORE IT WOULD LOCK AND BEGIN TO ROLL. THESE PROBLEMS WERE NOTICED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS FIRST PURCHASED. *SC *JB
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED VEHICLE HAD A TENDENCY TO PULL SEVERELY TO THE RIGHT. DEALER EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT A KIT WAS NEEDED FOR THE FRONT SUSPENSION. CONSUMER FOUND A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN OUTLINING THE PROBLEM. *AK *JB
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE RIGHT. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN TO THE DEALER FOUR TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE DEALER CLAIMED THAT THE VEHICLE'S ALIGNMENT WON'T ALLOW THEM TO ELIMINATE THE VEERING TO THE RIGHT. *AK *SC *JB
WHILE DRIVING, THE STEERING WHEEL PULLED TO THE RIGHT. THE DEALERSHIP TRIED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM THREE TIMES, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK *SC *JB
VEH PULLS TO THE RIGHT. BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ORDERED CAMBER BOLT PACKAGE, INSTALLED AND STILL PULLING TO THE RIGHT. HAD SERVICE MANAGER RIDE TO SEE FOR HIMSELF. HE AGREED PROBLEM STILL THERE. HEAD SRVC MECHANIC SAID ALL HE COULD DO IS "TWEAK IT" BY OVERCOMPENSATING FOR THE PULL, THERE IS NOTHING MORE THEY COULD DO. CAR WAS MFG 03.22.04 ACCORDING TO MANIFEST PAPERS. HAVE FILED CERT RET RECEIPT LETTER TO CHRYSLER AND MD CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY, BASED ON INFORMATION THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH CARS MFGED BEFORE APRIL 01, 2005. *AK
CAR VEERS TO THE RIGHT. BEEN TO THE DEALER(S) 5 TIMES. STILL PULLS EVEN AFTER CAM BOLTS INSTALLED. *JB
VEH PULLS RIGHT, STEERING WHEEL OFF CENTER TO THE LEFT. BEEN TO DEALERSHIP 5 TIMES. WAS TOLD ECCENTRIC BOLT KIT WOULD FIX PROJECTORAL ANGLE PROBLEM. VEH STILL PULLS RIGHT BUT NOT AS BAD. STEERING WHEEL OFF CENTER TO THE LEFT. DEALER CANNOT CORRECT. THEY SAY VEH IS IN SPEC. WAS TOLD BY DEALER THAT VEH'S BUILT BEFORE APRIL ALL HAVE THIS CONDITION.*AK
