AIR BAG PIN/LIGHT- THE AIRBAG PIN WAS REPLACED A LEAST FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS. I WAS CHARGED THREE TIMES FOR THIS SERVICE. THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS STILL ON AS OF THIS WRITING AND THE CAR IS ONCE AGAIN BACK WITH BIGELOW MOTORS CHRYSLER FIVE STAR DEALERSHIP (BELLEVILLE NJ). COLEMAN CHRYSLER (E. WINDSOR NJ) HAS ALSO WORKED ON THE VEHICLE. INVOICES REPAIR DATES SPAN FROM 4/05 TO 7/07. I RETURN THE VEHICLE ON 8/23/07 TO BIGELOW MOTORS BECAUSE THE AIR BAG LIGHT IS BACK ON AGAIN. CURRENTLY BIGELOW IS AWAITING A RETURN CALL FROM CHRYSLER TECH WHO IS AWAITING A CALL FROM THE CHRYSLER ENGINEER DEPT. WHEN RIDING MY VEHICLE I DON'T FEEL SAFE BECAUSE THE AIR BAG LIGHT INDICATOR IS ON WHICH I ASSUME THE AIR BAGS ARE DISABLED. I BELIEVE I'M ALSO DUE A REFUND TOTALING $ 428.93. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER CHRYSLER. PLEASE HELP. *TR
THIS VEHICLE (AS I UNDERSTAND, THIS AND MAY OTHERS) IS EXPERIENCING A PULL TO RIGHT. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAS HAD THE TSB (CAMB. BOLT) PERFORMED 2 TIMES. PURCHASED THIS CAR IN AUGUST AND HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM RIGHT FROM THE BEGINING...NOW WE ARE AT THE END OF APRIL AND IT IS NOT FIXED. WE HAVE HAD ALL TIRES REPLACED FOR WEAR (AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ALIGNMENT) THIS VEHICLE'S PRODUCTION DATE IS VERY EARLY. APPARENTLY CHRYSLER HAS SINCE FIXED THE PROBLEM ON NEWER 300'S BEING PRODUCED....BUT CAN SEEM TO FIX THE OLDER ONES. AT THIS POINT I AM QUESTIONING WHETHER THIS CAN BE REPAIRED.*AK
DT; CONSUMER BOUGHT A CHRYSLER 300 MODEL YEAR 2005. WHEN DRIVING FORWARD AT 5 MILES PER HOUR THE CAR TURNS OFF, ALSO WHEN DRIVING IN REVERSE IT TURNS OFF. EVERYTHING GOES OFF EVEN THE LIGHTS. AFTER PLACING THE VEHICLE IN PARK, IT STARTS AGAIN BUT DOES NOT TURN OFF. IN A TIME LAPSE OF 1 WEEK IT HAPPENED 3 TIMES. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER APRIL 9, 2005 AND IT IS STILL THERE. DEALER CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM. CONSUMER WAS TOLD TO COME AND PICK UP THE CAR. CONSUMER FEELS HE/SHE IS RISKING HIS/HER LIFE AND IS AFRAID TO PICK THE VEHICLE UP. *TT
SOMETIMES, MY '300 TOURING' (3.5 LITER HO V6) JUST 'LUNGES' FORWARD WHILE I'M STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON. THIS HAS OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS (ABOUT EIGHT TIMES NOW) WHETHER MY CAR IS 'COLD' AND/OR AFTER IT HAS 'WARMED-UP' FOR A WHILE. SOMETIMES, EVEN WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL FIRMLY DEPRESSED, IT'LL STILL 'LUNGE' FORWARD...FEELING AS IF MY CAR WILL FLY RIGHT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. ON 04/04/05, WHILE I WAS STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT BEHIND ANOTHER CAR, MY CAR 'LUNGED' FORWARD ONCE AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME CAUSING ME TO REAR-END THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME...CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF MY CAR, AS WELL AS TO THE REAR OF THE OTHER. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, I WAS ACTUALLY ENROUTE TO MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER TO HAVE A 'RECALL NOTICE' TAKEN CARE OF (FOR INAPPROPRIATE GAUGE CLUSTER READINGS). PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT, I HAD ADVISED MY DEALER ABOUT THE POSSIBLE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM, BUT EACH TIME I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR'S COMPLICATED ELECTRONICS/COMPUTER SYSTEM WAS IN FACT ACTUALLY JUST TRYING TO GET ACCUSTOMED TO THE WAY THAT I DRIVE, AND THAT IT WOULD ADJUST ACCORDINGLY. ON THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT AND DURING SUBSEQUENT VISITS, I ALSO HAD MY DEALER TRY TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF AND RECTIFY THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM; HOWEVER, EACH TIME, I WAS ADVISED THAT EITHER THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM NOR HAVE THEY HEARD ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. I HAVE READ ON SOME CHRYSLER 300 INTERNET FORUMS, THAT SOME OTHERS HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED THIS SAME PROBLEM, SO, I'M NOW SURE THAT MY PROBLEM ISN'T JUST A UNIQUE INCIDENT AFTER ALL. IF ANYTHING, I WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO RETRIEVE PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION FROM CHRYSLER IDENTIFYING THE ACTUAL EXISTENCE OF THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM, SO THAT I CAN PRESENT THIS DOCUMENTATION TO MY AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANY. THIS INCIDENT HAS NOW TARNISHED MY PERFECT DRIVING RECORD, AS WELL AS ALSO FORCED ME TO NOW PAY A HIGHER INSURANCE PREMIUM.
LOUD NOISE IN REAR OF CAR EVERYTIME I ACCELERATE BETWEEN 30 & 50 MPH. REPLACED REAR DIFFERENTIAL BEARINGS TO TRY AND FIX PROBLEM AND IT DID NOT WORK. PROBLEM WAS 1ST REPORTED IN APRIL 2005 AND DEALERSHIP IGNORED UNTIL OCTOBER 2005. *JB
AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON OCCASSIOALLY.
I HAVE A 2005 CHRYSLER 300 MADE IN AUGUST OF 2004. IT HAS AN ISSUE, AS MANY OF THESE AND DODGE MAGNUMS DO, WITH PULLING TO THE RIGHT WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO! MY CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 3 TIMES AND I HAVE ONLY HAD IT FOR 2 WEEKS! MY CAR KEEP SWIRVING RIGHT AND I KEEP HAVING TO PULL IT BACK. THE DEALER KEEPS GIVING MY EXCUSES AND CHRYSLER IS DENYING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM. THIS IS A VERY REAL PROBLEM! IT ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT ON APRIL 2ND, 2005!*AK
WHILE DRIVING MY 2005 CHRYSLER 300 WITH THE HEMI MOTOR THRU MY SUBDIVISION AT 25MI PER HOUR THE RACK-N-PINION BROKE AND THE STABILIZER BAR BROKE, CAUSING A BADLY BENT RIM, THAT CAUSED THE BOLTS UNDER THE CAR TO BECOME SHEARED OFF, CAUSING A ACCIDENT. MY CHRYSLER 300 HAS 7000 MILES ON IT AND HAS BEEN TO THE SHOP 3 TIMES FOR A FRONT END ALIGNMENT PROBLEM,CAR PULLS TO THE RIGHT SHOP SAYS IT IS SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW THE CROWN IN THE ROAD ( I WAS BORN AT NIGHT BUT NOT LAST NIGHT ) COME ON CHRYSLER YOU CAN COME UP WITH A BETTER EXCUSE THAN THAT. THIS IS A RECALL PROBLEM THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO FIX THIS. ALL DEALERS ARE BEING TOLD TO USE THIS EXCUSE ,ABOUT THE CAR IS SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW THE CROWN OR IT IS A HECK OF A COINCEDENCE THAT THIS COMPLAINT KEEPS COMING UP.*AK
CONSUMER SEVERELY BURNED BY SEAT HEATER IN CHRYSLER 300C 2005. *BF THE CONSUMER IS A PARAPLEGIC AND COULD NOT FEEL THE SEAT HEATER WHEN IT WAS INADVERTENTLY ACTIVATED. LAWYER ON BEHALF OF CONSUMER *JB
2005 CHRYSLER 300 EXPERIENCING SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH STEERING.*MR DURING THE SUB ZERO TEMPERATURES THIS WINTER, THE CONSUMER STATED THE STEERING WOULD FREEZE. THE LOWER THE TEMPERATURE WOULD DROP THE HARDER THE VEHICLE BECAME TO STEER. THE DEALER SHOWED THE CONSUMER A SERVICE BULLETIN OUTLINING THE PROBLEM, BUT WAS NOT PROVIDED A SOLUTION. *JB
DT: THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT END SHOOK, MADE NOISE, AND PULLING TO THE LEFT. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY REPLACED THE TIRES. THE VEHICLE SHOOK FOR THE FIRST MILE AND A HALF. THE CONTACT STATED BECAUSE THEY WERE SELF SEALING TIRES THE MATERIAL INSIDE CLUMPED UP BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER. THE TIRE MANUFACTURER TOLD HER TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A TIRE DEALERSHIP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. AS A RESULT, THE PRESSURE FROM BEING STRAPPED DOWN DURING TOWING CAUSED THE UPPER CONTROL ARM BUSHING TO POP OUT. ALSO, THE TIE ROD END ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIRE DEALERSHIP TOLD THE CONTACT TO GET THOSE REPAIRED BEFORE THEY COULD ADDRESS THE TIRE PROBLEM. THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO PUT THE BUSHING BACK IN, BUT NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE VEHICLE. *AK THE CONSUMER HAD A TRANSMISSION LEAK. UPDATED 01/11/06. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE AND ENGAGING THE BRAKES, THE GEAR SHIFTER WOULD NOT MOVE FROM PARK . THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS THEN CONTACTED AND THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,320.
WHILE MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN VEHICLE STALLED. CONSUMER PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.*AK UPDATED 12/14/2005. THE SUNROOF SHATTERED WHEN THE CONSUMER CLOSED HIS DOOR. THE DEALER CLAIMED THIS OCCURRED BECAUSE THE GLASS WAS BINDING IN THE TRACK. THE HEADLINER WAS COMING DOWN IN THE REAR. . *NM
THIS IS MY SECOND NEW CHRYSLER 300 PASSENGER VEHICLE THAT HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN THE CAR IS PUT INTO THE REVERSE POSITION. ONCE, YOU START TO BACK-UP THE CAR CUTS OFF. THE FIRST CAR WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND EXCHANGED FOR A SECOND NEW CHRYSLER 300. THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS. THE DEALERS MECHANIC SAID THE PROBLEM WAS THE "THROTTLE". I BELIEVE THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM, BECAUSE IF IT CONTINUES TO CUT OFF -- ANOTHER CAR MAY HIT ME AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *JB
DT: CONSUMER STATES THAT THERE IS A SAFETY DEFECT IN THE AIR BAG DISBURSEMENT MECHANISM. THE CLOCK SPRING HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES, AND THE RED AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON. THE LIGHT BEING ON CAUSES THE AIRBAGS NOT TO WORK. THE WARNING LIGHT HAS COME ON EVERY TIME THE CLOCK SPRING HAS BEEN REPLACED.*AK THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THE UNDER WIRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE MATERIAL WAS OF POOR QUALITY. *JB
THERE WAS AN OIL LEAK AT THE REAR OF VEHICLE AND THE DEALER REPLACED THE REAR AXLE PINION SEAL AND YOKE. ALSO ON THIS DAY THE TRIM PIECE AROUND THE DRIVERS SEAT CAME LOOSE AND THEY REPLACED THE SIX (6) SCREWS THAT HAD FALLEN OUT. NEXT THE DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR CLIP BROKE AND THEY REPLACED IT. AS OF THIS REPORT, JUNE 6, 2013, BOTH VISOR CLIPS ARE BROKEN. LASTLY, THE CARPET ON THE FLOOR BOARD FRONT PASSENGER SIDE IS COMING UP. 02/17/05, THERE WAS A RECALL ON VEHICLE D29 REPROGRAM PCM AND TCM08-D2-91-82, RECALL ON VEHICLE D28 BATTERY CABLE STUD FASTENERS RECALL D28 INSPECT BULKHEAD STUD 08-D2-81-82 ; RECALL ON VEHICLE D50 RADIATOR ISOLATOR BRACKETS. THE BOLTS WERE BROKEN AND REPLACED WITH RAD SUPPORT BRACKETS 07-30-10-50 07-D5-01-82. I WAS CHARGED 32.05 FOR LABOR, G.O.G., EPA PLUS TAX. 08/24/07, SLACK IN LEFT OUTTER TIE ROD END. THE SEEING OIL LIGHT WAS REPLACED ON 05/22/09 FOR $166.63 AND IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT THE BLEEDER HOUSING (LEAKING) $197; WATER PUMP & THERMOSTAT $854.00. REPLACED THROTTLE BODY ON 07/02/12. THE KEY COMES OUT OF IGNITION SWITCH WHILE CAR IS IN MOTION, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON 8/7/13 . THE ECU REPLACED ON 8/22/12, CAR WOULDN'T GO OVER 25 MPH AND RPM STUCK @ 1000. THE RADIATOR WAS REPLACED ON 05/13/13, HAD A LEAK. THE TIMING CHAIN, WATER PUMP AND PLENUM GASKET WAS REPLACED ON 06/03/13 AND MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THAT ETC LIGHT ARE STILL FLASHING IN THE DASH. THE REASON "SUPPOSEDLY" NOW IS THAT CHRYSLER ISSUED A BULLETIN FOR MECHANICS TO HAVE CAR OWNERS TO RETURN THE VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND PAY TO REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSORS AND THIS IS AS OF JUNE 6, 2013. I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE MONEY, TIME NOR PATIENCE FOR THIS VEHICLE! OBVIOUSLY, IT IS A LEMON, BY NO STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. THE COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE OBVIOUS FRAUDULENT ADVERTISEMENT OF THEIR PRODUCTS. I AM SEEKING TO SUE THE COMPANY. THEY KNEW VEHICLE WAS NO GOOD. *TR
HORN IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO WORK, ONLY A SMALL AREA SEEMS TO WORK. IN AN EMERGENCY IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO FIND THIS "SPOT". *NM
THE VEHICLEWAS BROUGHT TO FREEHOLD CHRYSLER FOR SERVICE FOR THE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON, NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY, HESITATION, LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE MOLDING COMING OFF, TRUNK LATCH BROKEN AND CAR PULLING TO THE RIGHT. FREEHOLD CHRYSLER STATED THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEMS AND FOUND NO CODES AND THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS DONE AT A COST TO ME OF $95.00,MOLDING AND TRUNK LATCH WAS REPLACED. WE THEN BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AGAIN FOR PULLING TO THE RIGHT ABOUT 1 WEEK LATER AND AGAIN THE TOLD US IT WAS FIXED.THE VEHICLE WAS NOT PULLING AS MUCH BUT STILL WAS. ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER THE CAR WAS RED LINING, NOT SHIFTING AND STALLING ON HER. WE BROUGHT THE CAR TO EATONTOWN CHRYSLER IN WHICH THEY FOUND A TRANSMISSION SOLENOID TO BE BAD AND REPLACED IT. WE THEN STARTED TO EXPERIENCE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS REAR WINDOW NOT WORKING ALL THE TIME AND AIR BAG LIGHT SOMETIMES FLASHING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING AND AGAIN HESITATION WHEN STATING FROM STOP. ALSO THE MOON ROOF INTERIOR SHADE OPENS TO ABOUT AN INCH AFTER DRIVING TO VEHICLE FOR ABOUT A WEEK. WE CONTACTED FREEHOLD CHRYSLER ABOUT THESE PROBLEM AND THE PREVIOUS WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MAY 3, 2005. NOW ITS MAY 8TH AND WE HAVE APPROX. 20,000 ON THE VEHICLE AND WE ARE BEING TOLD THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS COMPLETED BASED ON A SERVICE BULLETIN AND AT NO COST TO US, EVEN THOUGH WE PAID $95.00 ORIGINALLY, AND THE REST OF THE PROBLEMS CANNOT BE DUPLICATED AND THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO. I CONTACTED THE CHRYSLER CORP. SERVICE CENTER AT 18009921997 AND SPOKE TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE IN REFERENCE TO THESE PROBLEMS AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE THE CAR TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THAT THEY COULD DO.
I PURCHASED A 2005 CHRYSLER 300C ON DEC 9 2004 FROM WARNOCK OF NJ. NOTICED RIGHT AWAY PULLING IN FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. BROUGHT THE CAR BACK INTO THE DEALER ON 12/12/05. THE DEALER STATED THERE WAS NO PROBLEM BROUGHT THE CAR BACK IN ON 3/22/05 THE DEALER STATES NO PROBLEM. BROUGHT IT BACK IN ON 6/24/05 FOR THE STEERING WHEEL BEING CROOKED THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. HAD TO BRING THE CAR BACK IN ON 6/30/05 FOR MOANING IN THE STEERING THE TIRES WERE WORN DOWN ALREADY AFTER 2 ROTATIONS. THEY DID AN ALIGNMENT AND FIXED THE MOANING. BROUGHT THE CAR TO CHRYSLER OF PARAMUS ON 9/8/05 FOR THE PULLING AGAIN IN THE FRONT END. THEY FIXED THAT.HAD THE CAR BACK INTO WARNOCK CHRYSLER 11/10/05 FOR THE RIMS ON MY CAR WERE RUSTED. THEY WOULDNT REPLACE THEM I HAD TO FIGHT WITH CHRYSLER. 12/24/05 TOOK CAR TO WESTWOOD CHRYSLER FOR PULLING IN THE FRONT END AND SUNROOF LEAKING.THEY FIXED THE ROOF AND THE FRONEND.2/22/06 TOOK CAR BACK TO CHRYSLER OF WESTWOOD FOR REPLACEMENT OF MY RIMS THAT WERE RUSTED. ALSO HAD THEM CHECK THE PULLING AGAIN IN THE FRONTEND. THE SUNROOF WAS STILL LEAKING THEY HAD TO FIX IT AGAIN. WHILE IT WAS LEAKING INTO MY CAR ALL ALONG. 5/06 TOOK CAR TO WESTWOOD FOR NEW TIRES. CONTINENTAL WOULDNT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WEAR OF THE TIRES. WHILE ALL ALONG THEY COULDNT FIX THE PULLING IN THE FRONTEND.9/06 TOOK CAR BACK TO WESTWOOD FOR THE TIRES WEARING OUT AGAIN I PURCHASED ANOTHER SET OF TIRES NOT THE CONTINENTALS THEY WERE OFFERING. HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET AGAIN. 9/06 TOOK CAR BACK FOR STEERING & RATTLING IN FRONTEND. COULDNT FIND THE PROBLEM. 11/06 HAD A TRANSMISSION LEAK IN MY DRIVEWAY THEY FIXED THAT. JAN 07 HAD TO PAY FOR NEW UPPER BALL JOINTS ON THE CAR AND STRUTS CHRYSLER WOULDNT TAKE ON RESPONSIBILITY GO FIGURE WHEN ALL ALONG I COMPLAINED OF THE PROBLEM. TRIED TO TRADE CAR IN LOST THE VALUE OF CAR. PEOPLE WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER AND GO AFTER CHRYSLER THEY PRODUCED A CAR NOT WORTH DRIVING AND WERE PAYING FOR THE MISTAKE. ANYONE INTRESTED IN CLASS ACTION. *NM
WHEN I TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS, THE HEADLIGHTS AND INTERIOR LIGHTS FLASH IN INTENSITY, AND BRIGHTNESS. THE RESULT OF THIS HAZARD IS THAT IT DISTRACTS THE DRIVER OF MY CAR, AND ANY DRIVER ON THE ROAD WHO COME INTO VIEW OF THE CHRYSLER 300. THIS CONDITION IS AMPLIFIED BY SWITCHING HEAD LIGHTS FROM LOW TO HIGH BEAM. THE CHRYSLER CORPORATION HAS BEEN AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM SINCE JANUARY12, 2005. THIS IS A SERIOUS HAZARD AND AFFECTS THE SAFE OPERATION OF THIS VEHICLE. WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN A RECALL TO GIVE RELIEF AND SAFETY IN THIS MATTER????????????????????????????????????????
THE NEW 300'S ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE PEDAL TO SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SITS TOO CLOSE TO THE DOOR OPENING. WHILE DRIVING OR PARKED IF YOU TOUCH, BRUSH OR NUDGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL IT SETS THE SENSOR AS IF THE BRAKE HAS BEEN SET. THE MANUFACTORER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AS OF YET, THE DEALER STATED THAT THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE BRAKE AND THAT THE SENSOR IS VERY TOUCHY. AT THIS POINT MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIR 3 TIMES. I PURCHASED A NEW CHRYSLER 300 ON 11/03/04 AND EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY WITH THE VEHICLES LIGHTS BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR. CALLED GROGAN DEALERSHIP ON 11/9/04 TO ISSUE THE COMPLAINT. WAS TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO THE SHOP AT THE DEALERSHIP ON 11/30/04 AND WAS RETURNED TO ME ON 12/02/04 WITH AN INVOICE STATING THERE IS NO FIX AT THIS TIME. MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS SINCE THEN ABOUT THE SAFETY CONCERN RELATED TO THIS VEHICLES LIGHTS FLICKERING CONTINUOUSLY. THEN ON 12/17/04 THE VEHICLES LIGHTS WENT COMPLETELY OUT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WITH AN INJURY. THE ACCIDENT RESULTED IN AN INJURY AND SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR INDIVIDUALS IN THE VEHICLE AND ANY ONCOMING TRAFFIC. CHRYSLER WAS CONTACTED AND THE DEALERSHIP AND NEITHER ARE OWNING UP TO THE SAFETY CONCERN. NEGLECT IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN AND HAVE BEEN BLESSED THAT THEY WERE NOT IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY BEFORE A FATALITY OCCURS FROM SOMEONE'S NEGLECT. 2005 CHRYSLER 300 TOURING PURCHASED ON 11/4/2004 BEGAN MAKING A LOUD MOANING, STRAINING NOISE WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONING IS TURNED ON, THE DAY AFTER PURCHASE. THERE IS ALSO A VERY NOTICEABLE VIBRATING SENSATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKE. DURING A/C USE, THE ENGINE HAS AN IRREGULAR IDLE TO AN ALMOST STALL WHEN MAKING TURNS DURING BACKING AND FORWARD MOVEMENT OF VEHICLE AT VERY SLOW SPEEDS SUCH AS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. TOOK IT TO DEALER IN SAN DIEGO, CA AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOTICE THIS STRANGE, ONGOING PROGRESSIVE CONDITION BUT SAID THEY COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THERE HAD BEEN NO MANUFACTURER RECALL. WHEN STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT IN GEAR OR IN NEUTRAL, THE AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR CYCLES ON FOR 15 SECONDS AND THEN OFF FOR 5 SECONDS. EACH TIME THE AC CYCLES ON THERE IS A CLUNK AND VIBRATION & GRINDING THRU THE STEERING COLUMN AND BRAKE PEDAL. THE DEALER INSTALLED AN AC COMPRESSOR PULLEY KIT. CONDITION STILL PERSISTS. (3) WHEN THE VEHICLE SLOWS DOWN FROM 12 MPH TO 3 MPH WHETHER IN DRIVE OR NEUTRAL WITH OR WITHOUT APPLYING THE BRAKES THERE IS A VIBRATION AND WHINE NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT THRU THE STEERING COLUMN. THE DEALER SAID IT WAS FROM THE TIRES AND ROTATED AND BALANCED THEM SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONDITION STILL PERSISTS.

PICK UP CAR ON NOV 1, CAR DRIVES GREAT, BUT FOR ONLY ABOUT 300 MILES AND STARTS TO PULL RIGHT AGAIN. RETURNED TO DEALER NOV 9TH, AND ON NOV 12TH DEALER TELLS ME CAR IS IN SPEC AND OFFERS ME A SIMILAR CAR TO TEST DRIVE AND COMPARE. TEST DRIVE 300C MADE IN SEPTEMBER- CAR DRIVES PERFECT. DRIVE MY CAR AND STILLS PULLS TO RIGHT. HAD TECHNICIAN JAMES DRIVE MY CAR AND HE AGREED IT PULLS AND SAID THIS TO THE SALESMAN. CAR IS NOW AT DEALER AND STILL NOT REPAIRED. I HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR ABOUT 1200 MILES AND IT ONLY DROVE WELL FOR ABOUT 300 OF THESE. SECONDLY 210 MILES WERE PUT ON DRIVING THIS CAR BACK AND FORTH TO DEALER. *JB

I AM THE OWNER OF A 2005 CHRYSLER 300C. I NOTICED THAT MY HORN IS INOPERABLE UNLESS THE KEY IS IN THE IGNITION AND TURNED ON. IN TALKING TO OTHER OWNERS, IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS A COMMON TRAIT ON THIS NEW VEHICLE. I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERS ATTENTION WHEN I HAD IT IN FOR SERVICE. THEY CHECKED OTHER NEW VEHICLES IN THEIR INVENTORY IN STATED THAT THEY WERE ALL LIKE THAT. THEY THEN CONTACTED CHRYSLERS HELP LINE AND WERE INFORMED THAT "UNBELEIVABLE AS IT IS, THAT IS THE WAY THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED". IN MY OPINION, THIS COULD POSE A SAFETY ISSUE. IF I AM SITTING IN MY CAR WITH THE IGNITION OFF AND THE POSSIBILITY OF SOMEONE BACKING INTO ME IS IMMINENT, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WARN THEM WITH MY HORN.
