WE WERE PARKED AND UNLOADING OUR LUGGAGE AT THE AIRPORT. WE'D BEEN THERE APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES WAITING TO CHECK IN ON CURBSIDE. ALL OF A SUDDEN, OUR CAR STARTED ROLLING BACKWARD AND CRASHED INTO A CAR APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET BEHIND US. MY HUSBAND WAS RUNNING TRYING TO STOP THE IMPACT, THERE WAS NO REASON THAT THIS CAR SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS. IT WAS IN PARK FOR OVER 20 MINUTES!
"TAKATA RECALL" I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TWICE TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE PROBLEM RECTIFIED AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN MY NAME COMES UP ON THEIR LIST. IT'S ALMOST A YEAR THAT HAS PASSED AND I AM STILL WAITING.
MY CAT STALLED AT A RED LIGHT AFTER FUELING UP MY GAS TANK
WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE OUT OF PARK, THE SHIFTER WOULD NOT MOVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A FAULTY SHIFTER MECHANISM THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE COST WAS $468 AND THE PART ONLINE CAN BE REPAIRED AT NO COST OR REPLACED FOR $15 TO $30. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THESE COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET FOR MORE THAN JUST 2006 300C AUTOS. IF CHRYSLER DOES NOT ADMIT TO THE FLAW WHY DOESN'T THE GOVERNMENT MAKE THEM STEP UP AND REPAIR OR REIMBURSE CONSUMERS WHO WILL NO DOUBT NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLE? THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL OR AT LEAST CHRYSLER SHOULD PAY WHEN THE PART FAILS.
THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME FOR THIS INCIDENT MY CAR GAVE NO INDICATION IT WAS ABOUT TO STALL NO LIGHTS ON DASH BOARD .IT APPEARED THAT SOMETHING SWITCH THE IGNITION TO THE ACCESSORY POSITION. UNABLE TO STEER, OR USE THE BREAKS THE CAR STOP IMMEDIATELY CAN NOT GET TO A SAFE PLACE..HAS BEEN TO THE CHRYSLER DEALER FOUR TIME THIS YEAR FOR OTHER RELATED PROBLEMS. BUT CHRYSLER WAS NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSIS OR REPAIR THIS PROBLEM. WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT READ A CODE.IT WAS INTERNAL PROBLEM. FOR 21DAYS THEY KEPT MY CAR WITHOUT REPAIR..SECOND VISIT WAS 9-10 DAYS WITH APPROXIMATELY FIVE DAY WITH THE OWNER MY LATEST STAY WAS 4DAYS. MY CAR DROVE APPROXMATE; 50 MILES BEFORE STALLING AGAIN. FOR THE FIRST TIME I USE ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP OTHER THAN CHRYSLER. THE WORKER SEEM WELL PLEASED WHEN I STATED I WOULD NOT RETURN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I SPOKE WITH THE MANGER AND COULD NOT GET THE PROBLEM SOLVED.

WHEN I FILL THE GAS TO FULL, THE ENGINE STALLS AND IT HAPPENED IN AN INTERSECTION ON A YELLOW LIGHT. VERY SCARRY. HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE BUT THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED

I WANT TO COMPLAINT ABOUT HOW IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM CHRYSLER REGARDING THE RECALL 15V-313 THAT IS IN REGARDS TO THE AIR BAG. I'M CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY DRIVING THIS CAR. I HAVE CALLED CHRYSLER VARIOUS TIMES AND THEY KEEP SAYING THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS YET TO REPAIR THE ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAG. THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND RESTARTED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. STALLED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AFTER FILLING THE TANK UP. ALSO WHILE GOING AT LOWER SPEEDS. HESITATION AND LOST OF POWER AFTERWARDS. SINCE MY LAST FILL UP, THE CAR WON'T START NOW. I READ THAT HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM DUE TO A FLOAT SWELLS UP INTO A STUCK OPEN POSITION, ALLOWING AN OVERFILL CONDITION. *TR

I HAD HALF A TANK OF GAS. I STOPED AT THE GAS STATION AND FIILED MY CAR UP. WHEN I PULLED OUT OF THE GAS STATION AS IM RIDING DOWN THE RODE MY CAR FELT AT IT WAS JERKING ARE AS THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING THEN THE OIL LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RODE. I PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND CRUNK IT BACK UP AND DROVE INTO A NEARBY PARKING LOT AND AS SOON AS I PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT IT SHUT OFF AGAIN. I THEN AGAIN PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND CRUNK IT AGAIN. IT SHUT OFF AFTER A MINUTE. I THEN REPEATED THOSE STEPS AND JUST SET THERE FOR THIRTY MINUTES OR SO AND LET IT RUN AND IT DIDN'T CUT OFF AFTER THAT. EVERY TIME I FILL MY TANK UP I HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. MY CAR RUNS FINE LONG AS I DONT FILL MY TANK UP.

MANY OTHER 300S HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS, BUT BECAUSE OF WHERE THE ONE IN MY CAR WAS MADE, I AM NOT "ELIGIBLE" FOR A RECALL. HAS IT OCCURRED TO ANYONE AT CHRYSLER THAT PERHAPS THE DESIGN OF THE PART, AND NOT WHERE IT IS MANUFACTURED IS FAULTY??? *TR

2006 CHRYSLER 300. BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO DRIVE. THE CAR STARTING STUMBLING AND STALLING AT RANDOM TIMES, AND SPEEDS, ONCE WHILE DRIVING AT 80 MPH THE RPMS DROPPED TO 0 AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHED; IT ALWAYS JUST FLASHES. THEN JUST AS FAST AS THE RPMS DROPPED TO ZERO IT CAME RIGHT BACK UP. THE CAR JUMPED FORWARD LIKE I FLOORED THE PEDDLE. I HAVE MANAGED TO CAPTURE THIS ON VIDEO, BECAUSE IT WENT ON ACTING THIS WAY FOR SEVERAL MILES. THEN IT WAS FINE FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 150 MILES. THEN. IT RETURNED. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES AND THEY SAY NO CODES NO PROBLEM, THE FORTH TIME IT HAPPENED I GOT A CODE U0100 AND P0700. WITH MY SCAN TOOL BUT AGAIN DEALER SAYS THEY CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND THERE IS NO CODES. WHEN ASKED HOW WAS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON IF THERE WERE NO CODES. THE ANSWER WAS THEY DID NOT KNOW. THIS PROBLEM STILL IS PRESENT TO THIS DAY. IT STILL STALLS AND SHUTS DOWN AT ANY GIVEN SPEED. RATHER ITS PARKED OR RUNNING 80. THE CAR USE TO RESTART OK BUT NOW THE RESTARTING IS BECOMING AN ISSUE. I JUST MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT ON IT A FEW DAYS AGO. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A DODGE DEALER. HERE'S WHAT I AM GOING TO DO. ITS WELL DOCUMENTED (BY ME AND THE DEALER) THAT THIS CAR HAS A PROBLEM. THEY SAY ITS SAFE, THEY SAY NO CODES NO PROBLEMS. SO IM GOING TO CONTINUE DRIVING IT AND IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG (HEAVEN FORBID) CHRYSLER WILL BE FUNDING MY RETIREMENT. SO THANKS CHRYSLER. AS A RESULT, THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK, BACK, SHOULDER, ARM, LEG, AND FOOT INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. AFTER TOPPING OFF THE GAS TANK THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TWO BLOCKS WHERE IT WAS THEN PULLED ONTO A BUSY ACCESS ROAD IN TOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS SLOWING DOWN TO A RED LIGHT WHEN THE ENGINE STALLED FOR A MOMENT, THE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON, THEN IMMEDIATELY CUT OUT AND WOULD NOT RESTART. AFTER PUTTING ON HAZARD LIGHTS AND ATTEMPTING TO CALL FOR A TOW ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO RESTART THE CAR AND AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES OF WAITING THE ENGINE TURNED OVER AND IT WAS POSSIBLE TO PULL THE CAR OFF THE ROAD TO A MECHANIC A BLOCK UP. THE CAR WAS SCANNED AND NO ENGINE CODES WERE FOUND AND OIL PRESSURE WAS FOUND TO BE FINE. THE CAR WAS GIVEN A VALVE FLUSH AND STARTED UP FINE AFTER THAT. THE INCIDENT REPEATED ITSELF ON 3/29/15 ONCE MORE AFTER FILLING UP THE TANK, AFTER GOING TO BLOCKS THE CAR ONCE MORE STALLED AND SHUT DOWN. AT THIS POINT I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY WITH THIS VEHICLE IF THIS IS WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME THE CAR NEEDS GAS AND THIS SHOULD BE ADDRESS WITH A RECALL AFTER SEEING SO MANY COMPLAINTS. *TR
SOME TIME AGO- ABOUT FIVE YEARS ,I PURCHASED A 2006 CHRYSLER 300 TOURING FROM FRANKLIN AUTOMALL- MALL IN FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -WHAT I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING ENDLESS TIMES AND CONCERN THAT THE LUG NUTS THAT HOLD THE WHEELS ON ARE (DEFECTIVE) I HAVE PURCHASE A SET OF NEW LUG NUTS IN THE PAST LAST SET WAS 2013. WHAT IS HAPPENING IS THAT I WENT FOR MY BRAKES TO BE LOOKED AT A PEPBOYS ON 3016-2015IN POMTON PLAINS NJ,THE PROBLEM WAS THERE LUG NUTS COULD NOT BE REMOVED. THESE TYPE LUG NUTS- THE OUTER CASING SEPARATES FROM THE LUG NUT ITSELF, AND SPINS AROUND AND AROUND, DIFFICULTY TO REMOVE LUG NUT(S). ANY KIND OF BRAKE REPAIR OR REMOVING OF A WHEEL.IN EVENT OF A FLAT (I WOULD CERTAINLY BE STUCK.) AND AGAIN PAY FOR NEW STUDS TO BE PUT IN.CHRYSLER HAS NOT CHANGED THESE LUG NUTS THAT I AM AWARE OF- TO BETTER AND MORE EFFICIENT ONES, THAT HAS NO OUTER CASTING THAT SPINS -PREVENTING LUG NUTS TO BE REMOVED. REPLACEMENT SETS-- WERE ANOTHER SET OF LUG NUTS FROM THE CHRYSLER DEALER FROM FRANKLIN SUSSEX COUNTY AUTO MALL,I WAS TOLD AT THAT TIME THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENTS !!!!!!!...ON THURSDAY 3-25-2015 MY CAR IS GOING TO ANOTHER PEPBOYS FOR BRAKES TO BE LOOKED AT IN VERONA NJ. I WAS DRIVING MY CAR TO WORK AND I STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN. I MADE AN ATTEMPT TO MAKE A SMOOTH MERGE INTO TRAFFIC BUT MY CAR MADE LITTLE EFFORT TO MOVE. I STEPPED ON THE GAS AND IT STRUGGLED TO SPEED FORWARD AS IF IT WAS STUCK IN A HIGH GEAR.
