WHEN THE TRANSMISSION IS COLD THE VEHICLE STALLS HAVING NO CONTROL OVER FORWARD OR REVERSE MOTION WITH DANGEROUS SIDE BOUND TRAFFIC INSTANCES WHILE REFUSING TO SHIFT WITH RWD REAR AXEL SEVERE VIBRATION SENSITIVITY CAUSING TOTAL RWD REAR AXEL POWER LOSS & COICIDING TRANSMISSION ABNORMALITIES. POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTIONS/DYSFUNCTIONS RESULTING IN A DANGEROUSLY FAULTY SUSPENSIONS STABILITY & BRAKING PRESSURE STRENGTH CAUSING PULL IN PASSENGER SIDE DIRECTION WHERE VEHICLE SEEMS DANGEROUSLY THE WEAKEST & EXHAUST FUMES ABNORMALLY RECYCLING INTO VEHICLE CAB SYSTEM. ONLY HAS 140K ORIGINAL MILES. MANUFACTURE DEFECTS NOW BECOMING DEATH TRAP & SAFETY DISASTER TO POTENTIAL LIVES OF OTHERS.
I HAVE HAD CONSTANT ISSUES WITH THE CONTROL ARMS, TIE RODS, AND THE DOOR HANDLES ARE ALL BROKEN. I HAD TO REPLACE MY RADIATOR TWICE NOW. I LOVE MY CAR, BUT I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE COSTS THAT I HAVE HAD WITH THIS CAR. THE RADIATOR ISSUES HAVE COME WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION. MY ENGINE DIED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I NEVER HAD ANY WARNINGS PRIOR TO THE MOTOR BLOWING. I HAVE REGULAR MAINTENANCE DONE TO MY CAR, BUT A NEW ENGINE, 2 RADIATORS, TIE RODS, AND CONTROL ARM REPAIRS/CHANGES SEEM TO BE THE CONTINUUM FOR MY CAR. THE DOOR HANDLES ARE COSMETIC AND HAVE NOT BEEN REPAIRED. I HAVE RECORDS FROM MY DEALERSHIP AND ANOTHER PLACE I ENTRUST WITH MY VEHICLE.
I HAVE A CHRYSLER 300 C 2006 I'VE HAD IT FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW IT'S DEFINITELY BEEN CAUSING MY A LOT OFF ISSUES AND I'VE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS CAR A LOT OF OTHERS HAVING SAME ISSUES AS SUCH AS ME . THE FRONTEND HAS DEATH WOBBLE GOING ON THE HIGHWAY MORE THAN 65MPH I'VE HAD THE WHOLE FRONT END REPLACED WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM, THE MOTOR ALSO WAS REPLACED DUE TO ONE OF THE CYLINDER GOING RIGHT THREW THE MOTOR AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN AFTER MOTOR OVER HEATED A YEAR LATER

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH AND MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE OIL AND ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE OIL SWITCH. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE AXLE AND THE LOWER CONTROL ARM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE JERKED ABNORMALLY AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ROCKER ARM ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300C. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH OVER A ROAD BUMP, A LOUD ABNORMAL NOISE WAS HEARD FROM THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED IN ANY DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER SEVEN TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE RACK AND PINION AND THE FRONT STRUTS WERE REPLACED AT DIFFERENT TIMES BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000.

A SNAPPING NOISE WAS HEARD ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS PLACED ON THE LIFT AND LIFTED INTO THE AIR. THE TRAILING ARM ON THE REAR SUSPENSION SNAPPED. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MANUFACTURER BEGAN TO USE A STRONG TYPE OF METAL DURING MODEL YEAR 2009 DUE TO THIS COMMON FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. 1. DRIVING ON AN OVERPASS. MADE A LEFT TURN TOWARD RAMP TO GET ONTO I5 NORTH. 2. DURING THE TURN, I HEARD AND FELT A HUGE "CLUNK" SOUND FROM THE RIGHT FRONT OF CAR. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE THINKING I MAY HAVE JUST RUN OVER A ROCK OR SOMETHING. AFTER A FEW WEEKS THE CAR BEGAN PULLING TO THE RIGHT WHILE DRIVING AND EVENTUALLY BEGAN VIBRATING HARSHLY WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. 3. BEING A "SHADE TREE" MECHANIC, I PULLED THE WHEELS AND CHECKED THE SUSPENSION. I NOTED THAT THE TIE ROD ENDS SEEMED TO BE SHOT. THIS IS A 2006 CHRYSLER 300 TOURING WITH ONLY 62,000 MILES! I PURCHASED THE PARTS AND REPLACED THE OUTER TIE ROD ENDS. I TOOK NOTE THAT THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIE ROD ENDS DID NOT HAVE ANY WAY OF LUBRICATING THE TIE ROD BALL JOINT. THERE WERE NO GREASE POINTS THAT WOULD ALLOW PROPER MAINTENANCE OF THIS PART. I REMOVED THE BOOT FROM ONE OF THE OLD ENDS AND NOTICED THERE WAS VERY LITTLE GREASE IN THE JOINT AND THERE WAS SCARRING ON THE BALL WHERE THERE HAD BEEN METAL TO METAL CONTACT BETWEEN THE BALL AND THE HOUSING. THIS CAUSED THE BALL TO WEAR PREMATURELY AND EVENTUALLY CAUSED THE PART TO FAIL COMPLETELY. A PART OF MY OIL CHANGE RITUAL IS TO HAVE THE LUBRICATION POINTS GREASED. TIE ROD ENDS ARE MOVING PARTS WHICH NEED LUBRICATION IN ORDER TO REMAIN IN GOOD CONDITION. THE FACT THAT CHRYSLER IS USING PARTS WITH NO PROVISION FOR LUBRICATION IS INSIDIOUS AND SMACKS OF EXTORTION.

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING AND VEERED TO THE LEFT WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THE REAR PASSENGER LOWER CONTROL ARM FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
RADIATOR FAN WENT OUT,I REPLACED AT MY OWN EXPENSE,AS OF 2/25/2012 WAS NOTIFIED BY CHRYSLER TO BRING TO DEALER TO HAVE REPLACED ? IN PROCESS NOW OF BEING REIMBURSED,HAVING TROUBLE WITH POWER WINDOW CONTROLLER ON DRIVER DOOR,NOW THE AUTO RETURN FOR THE SEAT AND STEERING WHEEL DOES NOT WORK,U NO WHAT CHRYSLER JUST FIX THE PROBLEM OR PAY THE BILL, YOU'RE OWNED BY THE SAME PEOPLE THAT OWN OUR COMPANY WHICH IS FIAT!
