EVERY TIME I START MY CAR CANT TAKE KEY OUT IT TAKES FOREVER OR IT DOES NOT SO I HAVE TO OPEN TRUNK DISCONNECT NEGATIVE TO BATTERY AND PLUG BACK ON THEN THE IGNITION SWITCH MAKES A CLICK NOISE THEN I CAN TAKE KEY OUT ITS BEEN 5 MONTHS AND NO PART YET. THE SWITCH IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, SEVERAL TIMES I HAVE TURNED THE SWITCH ON AND IT WILL POP BACK TO THE OFF POSITION,ONE TIME I WAS DRIVING ACROSS A PARKING LOT AT MAYBE 15-20 MPH AND IT POPPED BACK TO THE OFF POSITION AND SHUT THE CAR OFF WHILE IN MOTION,ALL I HAVE ON THE THE KEY RING IS THE KEY ITSELF NOTHING ELSE SO IT CANT BE THE WEIGHT. I FEEL THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WOULD PERSIST UNTIL A NEW MANUFACTURED IGNITION SWITCH MODULE WAS INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MY WIFE HAD TAKEN OUR 2008 CHRYSLER 300 IN FOR SERVICE WHEN WHILE SITTING IN THE SERVICE LANE AWAITING A SERVICE ADVISOR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AT IDLE ONE OF THE FAN BLADES BROKE AND WENT INTO THE RADIATOR. WE FOUND A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN # CSN-L08. WE COMPLIED WITH SENDING ALL OF THE DOCUMENTATION PER THE SERVICE BULLETIN TO CHRYSLER AS INSTRUCTED. AFTER NOT HEARING ANYTHING FOR MORE THAN 60 DAYS AFTER SENDING THE DOCUMENTATION INTO CHRYSLER, WE CALLED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE REIMBURSEMENT WAS DENIED DUE TO SOME KIND OF SALES CODE. WHEN WE ASKED WHAT THAT WAS WE WERE NEVER TOLD AND KEPT BEING TOLD THE SERVICE BULLETIN WAS DENIED DUE TO A SALES CODE, BUT THEY WOULD NOT TELL US WHAT THAT WAS AND THERE IS NO SUCH SALES CODE MENTIONED ON ANY OF THE PAPERWORK AND THE SERVICE BULLETIN DOES NOT ADDRESS ANY SALES CODE. THIS SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF DOUBLE TALK SO IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REIMBURSED. WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED THAT THE REQUEST WAS DENIED. WE ALSO HAD IGNITION PROBLEMS PER CHRYSLER RECALL # P57. THIS WAS STILL NOT FIXED. WE WERE TOLD THAT WAS DUE TO NO PARTS AVAILABLE. WE ARE BRAND LOYAL CUSTOMERS BUT THIS IS CHANGING OUR OUTLOOK FOR THE CHRYSLER BRAND. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH CHRYSLER'S REACTION TO THIS ISSUE.

HEATER CORE BLEW IN THE CAR. FORTUNATELY, THE CAR WAS PARKED WHEN IT HAPPENED, BUT IF I'D STILL BEEN DRIVING, THE FLUID THAT DISPELLED WOULD HAVE BURNT MY LEGS AND FEET AS I WAS WEARING SHORTS AND FLIP-FLOPS. THIS INCIDENT WAS FURTHER EXASPERATED BY THE FACT THAT THE CAR HAD BEEN IN & OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP (PRESTIGE IN LAS VEGAS) MARCH, APRIL, MAY & JUNE OF 2014 FOR SEVERAL ISSUES AND A LOT OF THEM HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH TEMPERATURE SENSORS, GAUGES, WATER LEAKAGE, ETC. I FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND HOW IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ALL THAT HAD HAPPENED WITH THE CAR DURING THOSE TIMES. AT ONE POINT, THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 33 DAYS TRYING TO FIND THE PROBLEM!! HAVING THE HEATING CORE WHERE IT IS AND HAVING IT BLOW THE HOT FLUID OUT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FROM UNDER THE DASH IS THE MOST LUDICROUS THING I'VE EVER HEARD. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I HAD GOTTEN OUT OF THE CAR OR I'M SURE I WOULD HAVE HAD 3RD DEGREE BURNS FROM MY KNEES DOWN OR WORSE. *TR

WE ARE HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION KEY WHEN YOU START THE CAR. IT TAKE 5-10 SECOND FOR THE CAR TO RESPOND AND START THE CAR. ON AUGUST 16,2014 WE TOOK THE CAR TO CARL BURGERS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. THEY SAID THE ISSUE IS WITH THE KEY AND NEW KEY IS NEED TO BE PURCHASED AT 226.66 SO WE DID. AFTER THE SERVICE WAS DONE 24 HOURS AFTER WE STILL HAD THE SAME ISSUE. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP ON 9/27/2014 CONCERNING A RECALL CURRENTLY HAVE ON CHRYSLER VEHICLE WITH SAME ISSUE. THEY TOLD ME THIS CAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL. THAN I CONTACTED THE CHRYSLER COMPANY ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS AND THERE RESPOND WAS YOU CAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BUT THEY MIGHT EXPAND THE RECALL TO DIFFERENT MODEL WHICH WILL INCLUDE YOUR VEHICLE. SO AS A CONSUMER WHAT DO WE DO DRIVE THE CAR WITH ALL THESE FAULTS AND TAKE RISK FOR OUR FAMILY'S BECAUSE CHRYSLER DON'T HAVE THE PEOPLE TO FIX THE ISSUE. PLEASE ADVISE. *TR
