The contact was informed that the air bag sensor had failed; however, due to the age of the vehicle and the equipment not being available, the air bag sensor would fail. The failure persisted, and the vehicle remained at the residence unrepaired. The vehicle was no longer driven out of safety concerns. The failure mileage was approximately 13,400.
