THIS VEHICLE TENDS TO STALL AT OR BELOW 35 MPH. HAVE BEEN TO INDEPENDENT MECHANICS AND CHRYSLER AND NO ONE CAN SEEM TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT STALLS. WHEN IT STALLS THERE IS A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE CAR AND IS VERY DANGEROUS ESPECIALLY WHEN IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. MY WIFE DRIVES THIS VEHICLE ALONG WITH MY 3 CHILDREN. I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THIS MATTER AND I AM QUITE SURPRISED THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL. *TR
WHEN WE EXIT THE HIGHWAY THE CARS STALLS AND SOMETIMES EVEN LUNGES. WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO 2 DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY SAY THERE ISN'T ANYTHING TO FIX. CHRYSLER EVEN SAID THERE ISN'T ANYTHING THEY CAN DO. I FEEL THIS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE WHEN THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME I'VE HAD MY GRANDSON WITH ME AND IT TOOK 4 TRIES TO GET THE CAR TO START AGAIN. ALSO WHEN DRIVING IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC THE TRAFFIC CAN STOP SUDDENLY WHICH WILL CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. CHRYSLER HAS FIXED THIS PROBLEM ON EARLIER YEARS OF THIS MODEL, I DON'T THINK THEY WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH REPAIRING A KNOWN ISSUE ON A VEHICLE THEY NO LONGER MANUFACTURE. *TR
WHILE COMING TO A STOP IN A PARKING LOT THE TIRE VALVE STEM BLEW OFF, COMPLETELY DEFLATING THE TIRE. SIX WEEKS LATER THE SAME THING OCCURRED TO ANOTHER WHEEL. IT APPEARS THAT VALVE STEM CORRODED JUST BELOW THE CAP. THE PRESSURE INSIDE THE TIRE THEN BLEW OUT THE SCHROEDER VALVE RESULTING IN A QUICK DEFLATE OF THE TIRE. IF THIS HAD HAPPENED AT HIGHWAY SPEED IT COULD HAVE RESULTED IN LOSS OF STEERING AND POSSIBLE ACCIDENT OR PERSONAL INJURY. BOTH TIRE VALVE STEMS HAVE BEEN REPLACED, BUT NOW WONDERING IF THE REMAINING TWO NEED TO BE REPLACED. SUCH A DESIGN OF THIS PRODUCT IS A POTENTIAL FATAL ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. *TR
I WAS DRIVING THE CAR TO THE GAS STATION TO PUT GAS IN IT AND THE CAR SHUT OFF AS I WAS PULLING UP TO THE GAS STATION AND THERE WAS A CAR COMING TOWARDS ME AND THE CAR HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY. I HAD TO LITERALLY STOP MY CAR AND RUN TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR THAT WAS COMING TOWARDS ME IN ORDER TO PREVENT AND ACCIDENT OF THE CAR RUNNING INTO MY CAR. I KNOW IT HAD ENOUGH FUEL I KEEP MY TANK FULL AND JUST WANTED TO FILL IT ALL THE WAY UP SINCE I HAD EXTRA FUNDS THAT WEEK. EVER SINCE THE SHUT OFF THE CAR HAD BEEN SPUTTERING AND HAVING TROUBLE SWITCHING GEARS. I JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR AND IT HAS BEEN A DISAPPOINTMENT, ONE AFTER THE OTHER!!!!! THEN THERE'S AN ISSUE WITH THE FRONT END WHERE YOU HEAR A POPPING SOUND IF YOU SHOULD HAVE TO UNEXPECTEDLY HAVE TO HIT THE BRAKES OR IF YOU GO OVER A SPEED BUMP. *TR
THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS OCCURRED SIX TIMES SINCE FEBRUARY 1, 2014 (A PERIOD OF ABOUT SEVEN WEEKS). EACH TIME I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO GUIDE THE VEHICLE OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, IN SPITE OF THE LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKING. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED WITH NO MAJOR PROBLEM EACH TIME. ALSO, THE ENGINE SPONTANEOUSLY REVVED AS THE VEHICLE LOST FORWARD MOMENTUM ON ONE OCCASION (ON A DATE PRECEDING THE FIFTH SHUTOFF EVENT), BUT REGAINED NORMAL OPERATION WITHIN SECONDS. ON THAT OCCASION I TOOK THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY TO THE DEALER FOR ANALYSIS; THEY UPDATED A COMPUTER MODULE. THE SHUTOFF HAS OCCURRED TWICE SINCE THE DEALER FIXED THE COMPUTER COMPONENT. ALL EVENTS OCCURRED WITHIN TWO TO FIVE MINUTES OF DRIVING THE CAR AFTER IT HAD BEEN SITTING FOR SEVERAL HOURS (COLD START?). MY RESEARCH SHOWS THAT THIS IS A FREQUENTLY REPORTED PROBLEM WITH THE 2007 PACIFICA, AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS RECALLED FOR THE PROBLEM IN MODEL YEARS 2004 - 2006. I PROVIDED A PRINTOUT OF MY RESEARCH TO THE DEALER, AND THEY HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR FIVE BUSINESS DAYS WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. I REPORTED THE PROBLEM BY PHONE TO CHRYSLER, BUT THEIR COMPLAINT LINE DOES NOT OFFER SOLUTIONS (AND APPARENTLY DOES NOT PROVIDE FEEDBACK). *TR
AT 40,899 MILES (I PURCHASED THIS CAR NEW) I HAVE NOW HAD TO REPLACE THE THREE ENGINE MOUNTS TWICE (FIRST TIME AT 20,000 MILES - UNDER WARRANTY). I AM A MATURE DRIVER WHO DRIVES THIS CARE GENTLY. *TR
WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE JUST STOPPED/STALLED. STEERING, BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS STOPPED FUNCTIONING. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE CAR FULLY STOPPED. SCARY AND FEELS SO HELPLESS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD! *TR
THE FUEL PUMPS IN THE GAS TANKS STOP WORKING. THEY WONT PUMP FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO THE OTHER. MY GAS GAGE SHOES FULL THEN WHEN IT GET A LITTLE BELOW HALF IM OUT OF GAS BECAUSE THE PUMPS ARE NOT PUMPING GAS FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER SIDE. I HAD NEW PUMPS PUT IN 2,000 MILES AGO AND THE WENT OUT ALREADY. CHRYSLER NEED TO RECALL THIS PROBLEM. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM. WE AS CHRYSLER OWNERS CANT AFFORD TO PAY FOR THIS ALL THE TIME. I KNOW FOR A FACT THERE IS A CHRYSLER DEALER THAT SAID HE HAS THEM COMING IN LIKE A REVOLVING DOOR. I BOUGHT THIS CAR ALMOST NEW (IT WAS NEVER TITLED - CHRYSLER HAS USED IT AS A CORPORATE CAR), WITH 15,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE REPLACED THE ENGINE MOUNTS FOUR TIMES (THE FIRST TWO TIMES UNDER WARRANTY). ON THE LATEST INSTANCE, THE MOUNTS HAD BEEN ON THE CAR FOR ABOUT 15 MONTHS AND 28,000 MILES. THEY FAILED AND DAMAGED THE RIGHT FRONT AXLE, WHICH ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED, FOR A TOTAL COST OF ABOUT $2,500. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD EITHER SHIFT UPWARD OR DOWNWARD INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY FAILED TO SHIFT INTO GEAR AND IT STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WERE 97,000.
PURCHASED THE PACIFICA TOURING AWD IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER, 2013. IT WAS IN FABULOUS CONDITION. A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER, I EXPERIENCED MY FIRST OF EIGHT OCCURRENCES WHEREIN THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. ONCE THE ENGINE SHUT OFF, POWER BRAKES AND POWER STEERING DIDN'T FUNCTION PROPERLY, LIKELY BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS NO LONGER RUNNING. FIVE OF THESE EIGHT OCCURRENCES HAVE BEEN WITHIN ONE MILE OF MY RESIDENCE. ADDITIONALLY, IT OCCURRED ONCE IN A PARKING LOT, ONCE IN AN INTERSECTION, AND ONCE AS I WAS GETTING ONTO AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. A FEW OF THE OCCURRENCES ALMOST RESULTED IN ACCIDENTS. I WAS AT THE MERCY OF THE OTHER DRIVERS IN THOSE CASES. I HAVE SIX GRANDCHILDREN. I'M HESITANT TO TAKE THEM ON TRIPS BECAUSE I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN MY PACIFICA'S SAFETY AND RELIABILITY. MY VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLAINT SEEMS EERILY SIMILAR TO NUMEROUS OTHER OWNER'S 2007 PACIFICA SAFETY COMPLAINTS. I PRAY CHRYSLER WILL INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE TO DETERMINE WHAT IS CAUSING THE ENGINE FAILURE BEFORE A PRECIOUS LIFE IS LOST. CHRYSLER, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE CAUSE AND NOTIFY THE OWNERS OF THE FIX SOONEST. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO CONTINUE NEGLECTING THESE SAFETY CLAIMS. I'M CERTAIN $$$ IS CAUSING YOUR HESITATION TO INVESTIGATE; HOWEVER, IT WILL SEEM LIKE PENNIES COMPARED WITH THE COST YOU WILL UNDOUBTEDLY PAY DUE TO NEGLIGENCE IN THE EVENT OF INJURY OR FATALITY. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR HEARING MY CONCERN, DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, IDENTIFYING THE SOLUTION, AND QUICKLY IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN TO REPAIR THE AFFECTED VEHICLES. SAFETY HAS A PRICE, BUT HUMAN LIFE IS PRICELESS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED DIFFICULTY IN ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION POWER. THE VEHICLE WOULD RESPOND TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS WITH A DELAY. ADDITIONALLY, THE CHECK ENGINE, EPS AND BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NEITHER DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000. *TR
THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS MOSTLY IT HAPPENS WHEN GOING AROUND CURVES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT THEY JUST SAID THEY COULD REPLACE THE 2 FUEL PUMPS FOR $900 BUT COULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. I DID NOT HAVE THE PUMPS CHANGED. WHEN THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF LOSS OF POWER ASSIST STEERING IS LOST AND POWER ASSIST BRAKES MAKING IT DANGEROUS TO NAVIGATE TO A STOP TO RESTART IT. *TR
MY CHRYSLER PACIFICA HAS A POWER STEERING PROBLEM. POWERSTEERING GOES OUT WHILE DRIVING EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE. NOW IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING DAILY. THERE SEEMS TO BE A LEAK AND ON ONE OCCASION SMELL OF BURNING FROM THE ENGINE. I HAVE SEEN THAT THIS HAS BEEN A ISSUE WITH 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICAS AND I HAVE CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE. IT IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED! ALSO CAR SHUTS OF WHILE DRIVING WHICH IS ALSO VERY DANGEROUS!!! *TR
WHILE DRIVING FROM COLD START VEHICLE DIES EVERY MORNING AT LEAST ONE TIME LOOSE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES MAKES IT HARD TO COME TO A STOP OR TURN THIS I SEE IS A PROBLEM WITH OTHERS SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET THIS CHECKED OUT. NO CHECK ENG LIGHT OR ANY WARNING I'M ABLE TO POP IT INTO NEUTRAL AND RESTART BUT AM AFRAID TO LET WIFE DRIVE DUE TO HER LACK OF EXPERIENCE.. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 129,000.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES PER HOUR AND LOST THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AND THE CAR DROVE NORMALLY FOR ABOUT A MILE, AND THEN BEHAVED THE SAME WAY. I WENT TO THE DEALER FOR AN INSPECTION A MONTH AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THE PERFORM SERVICE INDICATOR WAS DISPLAYED, THE ONLY SUGGESTION WAS TO FIX MOTOR MOUNTS. THE BATTERY DIED ON ME A WEEK LATER, AND NOW THE CAR IS LOSING POWER WHILE I'M IN TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE IS TURNING INTO A MONEY PIT. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT THE TIPM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH WHEN THE FUEL GAUGE METER DISPLAYED AN ERRONEOUS FUEL LEVEL READING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE METER SHOWED THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS HALF FULL AND AFTER DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES THE GAUGE INDICATED THE FUEL TANK WAS EMPTY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE DEFECT WAS NOT REMEDIED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT SURE OF THE EXACT REPAIRS MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STOPPED ACCELERATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS PROGRESSING AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V432000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
AFTER MY 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA FUEL GAUGE GETS BELOW 1/2 TANK, THE GAUGE STARTS DROPPING AT AN ALARMING RATE. IF I DRIVE 1 MILE IT REACTS INDICATING AS MUCH AS A 10 MILE DROP. WHILE SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT THE GAS GAUGE JUMPS AROUND BETWEEN 2 AND 3 MILES DIFFERENCES. I DO NOT GET A FULL 20 GALLON DRIVE FROM MY VEHICLE. I CAN FILL UP THE CAR BUT ONCE THE GAUGE INDICATES IT'S EMPTY THE CAR WILL NOT START. I LOGGED IT AS ONLY SHOWING 320 MILES AND GOING EMPTY, WHEN FULL THE GAUGE INDICATES 400 MILES. THIS READING IS CHANGING NOW ON A WEEKLY BASIS. I HAVE LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR. *TR
VEHICLE IS PARKED IN THE GARAGE AND UNABLE TO PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE TO BACK OUT. AFTER GOOGLING THE PROBLEM ,IT SEEMS THAT MANY OWNERS HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE AND DISCUSSING WITH CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE THEIR ANSWER WAS TO ENGAGE THE PINK PLASTIC BUTTON INSIDE SHIFTER CONSOLE WHICH I'M AFRAID DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I'VE SINCE RELEASED THE CABLE INSIDE THE HOOD TO FREE UP THE SHIFTER AND NOW IN THE SHOP FOR REPAIR. CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND MADE CORRECTIONS FOR THE 05-07 300'S &CHARGERS BUT NEGLECTED THE PACIFICAS,FOR WHAT REASON I DON'T KNOW. *TR
WHEN CORNERING AT LOW SPEEDS THERE IS A LOUD RUBBING NOISE (LIKE A TIRE RUBBING IN THE WHEEL WELL) COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. I CAN FEEL IT BOTH IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKE PEDAL. WHEN I GOT NEW TIRES, I HAD THE MECHANIC CHECK THE WHEEL WELLS FOR RUB MARKS AND HE DID NOT FIND ANY. HE STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT RUBBING ANYWHERE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA IT WILL STALL. THIS OFTEN OCCURS AT SPEEDS LESS THAN 40MPH. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND WHEN I CALLED THE DEALER THEY DID NOT SEEM FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM. THIS COULD VERY VELLUM RESULT IN A FATALITY SINCE THERE IS NO WARNING. THE CAR WILL LOOSE STEERING FUNCTION AFTER THE STALL AND I WILL NEED TO ATTEMPT TO PULL OUT OF TRAFFIC TO RESTART THE CAR. I AM UNCOMFORTABLE THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT RECALLED THIS OR ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM, WHICH SEEMS FAIRLY COMMON. *TR
POWER DOOR LOCKS UNEXPECTEDLY UNLOCKED WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH. *TR
WHEN I STARTED THE CAR, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE WORD 'GASCAP' APPEARED IN PLACE OF THE CAR'S MILEAGE. I READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL AND FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS TO RESET THE MESSAGE AFTER TIGHTENING GAS CAP. IT HAD NO EFFECT. I WENT TO AUTOZONE AND HAD THEM RUN A FREE DIAGNOSTIC SCAN WHICH RETURNED THE DIAGNOSIS OF: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK. I INSTALLED A NEW GAS CAP AND FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS TO RESET MESSAGE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND 'GASCAP' MESSAGE REMAIN. *TR
THE VEHICLE DIES--ESPECIALLY WHEN COASTING TOWARD A STOP SIGN OR LIGHT, OR DOWN HILLS--USUALLY AT LOWER SPEEDS, THOUGH SEVERAL TIMES AT SPEEDS OF 40 MPH. THE POWER BRAKES AND POWER STEERING CEASE. THE ONLY OPTION IS TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND RESTART THE CAR. GOING AROUND CORNERS AT SPEEDS HIGHER THAT 25 IS DIFFICULT, THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE SAME THING; THEY CAN'T REALLY FIND ANYTHING WRONG BUT HAVE CHARGED ME OVER $2500 THIS YEAR ALONE. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS AS THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ON NEARLY A DAILY BASIS. AND TAKING IT TO THE DEALER SEEMS FUTILE. IS THIS PART OF THE RECALL? THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER, A SMALL PLASTIC PART WITHIN THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY OF CERTAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES OF THE CHRYSLER MARQUEE HAS A HOOK TO WHICH A SPRING IS ATTACHED. WHEN THE HOOK BREAKS, THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE MOVED BECAUSE THE SHIFTER LEVER WILL BECOME LOCKED IN THE "PARK" POSITION. THE CHRYSLER CORPORATION, IN AN AGREEMENT WITH NHTSA (AS I HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE) VOLUNTARILY RECALLED SEVERAL CHRYSLER PRODUCTS WHICH SHARED THIS PART, UNDER THEIR "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION K39". THOSE VEHICLES, CHRYSLER 300, DODGE MAGNUM AND CHARGER (2005-2007), PROBABLY MANY THOUSANDS, WERE ALL REPAIRED AT NO CHARGE TO OWNERS. YOU MUST BE AWARE THAT THIS IDENTICAL PART, INTERCHANGEABLE WITH THE ABOVE-MENTIONED VEHICLES, IS INSTALLED IN CHRYSLER PACIFICA VEHICLES. BUT THE "VOLUNTARY" RECALL EXCLUDED ANY PACIFICA VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING ALONG AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT SOUNDED LIKE MY TIRED POPPED AND THE CAR JERKED AND THAN FELT LIKE IT WAS DRAGGING ALONG AND KEPT MAKING A POPPING NOISE UNTIL I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE WE WERE LATER INFORMED A ROD HAD COME LOOSE AND PUT A GASH IN THE ENGINE AND OIL PAN. CALLED IT A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE AND ONLY FIXED AT ENORMOUS COST.
