TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE ROD DISCONNECTED FROM THE LEFT FRONT TIRE AND CANNOT STEER THE VEHICLE. SHE STATED THAT THE PART IS NON-SERVICEABLE. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE TIE RODS ARE MEANT TO FAIL AND ARE NORMALLY SELF-GREASING, HOWEVER THE TIRE RODS ARE NOT. SHE NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THERE IS NO RECALL AND THE PART IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO STATED THAT THE PART IS USUALLY NOT DUE FOR INSPECTION UNTIL 90,000 MILES. SHE ALSO NOTIFIED THE LOCAL DEALER AND ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE REGIONAL SALES MANAGER. THE REPRESENTATIVE HAS YET TO RESPOND. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 82,580 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,500. DASHBOARD CRACKING AND FALLING TO PIECES. CONCERNED ABOUT DAMAGING OTHER PARTS OF THE CAR IF CAVE-INS HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING. *TR
THE FRONT HUBS AND BEARINGS ON THE 2001 PT CRUISER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 54000 MILES. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THIS WAS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS CONDITION. AFTER SOME RESEARCH ONLINE I DISCOVERED THAT MANY PT OWNERS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, SOMETIMES REPEATEDLY. THIS MAY BE RELATED TO A DESIGN DEFECT AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.*AK
PT CRUISER DASHBOARD CRACKED. *AK
I OWN A 2001 PT CRUISER AND THE DASHBOARD CRACKED AND APPEARED TO BE COLLAPSING IN THE VENT AREA. THIS STARTED ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND WAS GETTING WORSE FAST.*AK
PREMATURE FAILURE OF FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS. THIS VEHICLE HAD 37,000 MILES WITH BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT BUSHINGS FAILED. WITHOUT REPLACEMENT, THIS CAN LEAD TO ADDITIONAL SUSPENSION WEAR AND IN AN EXTREME CASE, LOSS OF CONTROL. BUSHINGS OF THIS TYPE IN TYPICAL VEHICLES LASTS THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE. ACCORDING TO MY INDEPENDENT GARAGE THIS COMPONENT SHOWS AN INORDINATELY HIGH FAILURE RATE, AS EVIDENCED BY THEIR EXPERIENCE IN REPLACING THEM IN MANY PT CRUSIERS. THEY SEE THEM AT A RATE OF ONE EVERY TWO WEEKS, AND THIS WAS AN INDEPENDENT GARAGE, NOT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. THIS PROBLEM WAS CAUGHT AT PENNSYLVANIA ANNUAL STATE INSPECTION.*AK
THE DASHBOARD IS CRACKING ON THE 2001 PT CRUISER ,AND I CONTACTED THE CHRYSLER CORPORATION ,AND THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT GOING TO HELP IN FIXING THE PROBLEM. CRACKING DASHBOARD. *AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE DOORS ATTEMPTED TO AUTOMATICALLY RE-LOCK IN INTERVALS OF 20 SECONDS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON FOUR OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY CONCLUDED THAT THE FAILURE WAS UNRECOGNIZABLE AND DISCONNECTED THE AUTOMATIC LOCKING SYSTEM. HE STATED THAT MANUALLY LOCKING THE DOORS WORKED FOR A MONTH, HOWEVER, THE DOORS FAILED TO LOCK ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS SHUT OFF, THE DOORS FAILED TO UNLOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE COMPUTER SECURITY SYSTEM PREVENTED THEM FROM ACCESSING THE COMPUTER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
THE DASHBORAD IS BROKEN AND FALLING IN. *AK
THE FOG LAMPS ON THE 2001 PT CRUISER COME ON AND STAYED ON THEIR OWN ACCORD. THIS CAUSED A DEAD BATTERY 3 TIMES. WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR THE ALARM WENT OFF. SOMETIMES THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WORKED CORRECTLY, SOMETIMES IT DID NOT. SOMETIMES THE KEYLESS ENTRY WORKED AND SOMETIMES IT DID NOT. WHEN IT DID WORK, I COULD NOT GET THE DOOR TO UNLOCK WITH THE KEY, IT RELOCKED BY ITSELF, LEAVING ME LOCKED OUT OF MY OWN CAR AND STRANDED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. I COULD NOT LOCK THE DOOR ON DRIVER'S SIDE WITH ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK. MUST INDIVIDUALLY LOCK ALL DOORS. SMOKE CAME FROM THE TOP OF THE STEERING COLUMN , THROUGH HAZARD LIGHT SWITCH ON TWO OCCASIONS. DEALER SUGGESTED $200. REPLACEMENT OF MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH - BUT RESEARCH SHOWED THISWAS NOT A REMEDY TO THE PROBLEM. I LIVE IN A REMOTE, RURAL AREA, AND DO NOT FEEL SAFE OR SECURE WITH THIS VEHICLE. *AK
THE 2001 PT CRUISER FOG LIGHTS CAME ON BY THEMSELSVES WHEN THE SWITCH WERE IN THE OFF POSITION, DRAINING THE BATTERY WHEN THE CAR WAS PARKED. IF THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL WAS TURNED ON THE FOG LIGHTS WENT OFF. I HAD TO PULL THE FOG LIGHT FUSE TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM.*AK
MY 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER'S FOG LIGHTS WILL NOT GO OFF EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING UNLESS THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL IS TURNED ON. IF THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH IS NOT TURNED ON THE FOG LIGHTS DRAIN THE BATTERY LEAVING ME STRANDED AND REQUIRES RECHARGING OR REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY. MULTIPLE FORUMS I'VE READ LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THIS IS A MASSIVE PROBLEM WITH THE PT CRUISER. IT REQUIRES REPLACEMENT OF A MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH AT A COST OF OVER $200. *JB
TL*- THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT 3 OUT OF HIS 4 TIRES WERE LEAKING. HE TOOK THE 2001 PT CRUISER TO A TIRE SHOP AND AT THE TIRE SHOP THEY STATED THAT THE BRIDGESTONE FUSION TIRES WERE FINE, THE FAILURE WAS ON THE METAL INSIDE THE RIMS THAT WAS COMING APART. THE CONTACT CAN PROVIDE PICTURES IF NEEDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 118000.
2002 PT CRUISER DEVELOPED CRACKS IN DASHBOARD- FROM WINDSHEILD TO DASHBOARD GRILL AND FROM DASHBOARD GRILL TO GLOVE BOX PANEL. *AK
(1) PROBLEM OCCURRED UPON PARKING VEHICLE (2001 PT CRUISER) (2) FOG LIGHTS COULDN'T BE TURNED OFF, SMOKE AND PUNGENT ODOR EMANATED FROM STEERING COLUMN (3) FUSE WAS REMOVED DISABLING CIRCUIT. *JB
(1) LOSS OF TIRE AIR PRESSURE NOTICED ON TWO DIFFERENT WHEELS, THREE WEEKS APART. (2) PRESSURE LOSS DUE TO CORROSION ON CHROME-PLATED ALLOY WHEELS ON 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. (3) TEMPORARY CORRECTION WAS TO GRIND CORROSION AND SEAL THE BEAD WITH TRUCK WHEEL SEALER. UPON CONVERSATION WITH A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD THAT ULTIMATELY THE WHEELS WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED, AS THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE. I WAS FURTHER TOLD THAT, IN FACT, THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED TOTAL WHEEL FAILURE DUE TO CORROSION (HOLES ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE WHEEL). UPON FURTHER RESEARCH, I FOUND THAT THIS HAS ALSO BEEN THE CASE WITH CHRYSLER 300S AND DODGE DURANGOS. *JB
CONTROL SWITCH FOR 2001 PT CRUISER HEADLIGHTS AND FOGL IGHTS HAD INTERMITTENT SHORT, CAUSING REPEATED BATTERY DRAIN. EXACT SAME PROBLEM NOTED BY 20 OTHER PT CRUISER OWNERS THIS YEAR ON WWW.TOPIX.NET. SOME SUGGESTED A FUSE REPLACEMENT FOR $200 MAY FIX THE PROBLEM. NO WORD FROM CHRYSLER ON THE SUBJECT. WHY WAS THERE NO RECALL?*AK
TIRES ARE GOING FLAT. HAVE REPEATEDLY TAKEN TO TIRE DEALER TO FIX TIRES. YESTERDAY WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM IS THE WHEELS AND NOT THE TIRES. *JB
I BOUGHT A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER IN FEBRUARY 2007. WHEN I BOUGHT IT THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE DASHBOARD,THAT BECAME QUITE LARGER IN JUST A FEW MONTHS, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THE CRACK/SPLIT WAS GROWING. SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE USED I FIGURED IT WAS MY PROBLEM, BUT I KNEW OF OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS WAS A DEFECT IN THE VEHICLE THAT COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT A DASHMAT COVER TO HELP SO THE DASHBOARD WON'T GET AS HOT, BUT IT STILL GREW. WHAT COULD I DO ABOUT THIS? *AK
AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON ALL WINDOW & AIRCONDITION & REAR DEFROSTER STOP WORKING DEALER SAID UNDER DASH WIRING HARNESS. *JB
TL* - THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD GOODYEAR EAGLE TIRES, 205/55 R16 EAGLE LS. AT 31,000 MILES THE CAR WAS PULLING TO THE LEFT, AND HE TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND FOUND THAT THE BELTS ON THE TIRE SEPARATED, CAUSING THE TREAD TO SHIFT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AT 41,000 MILES THE BACK OF THE CAR BEGAN SWAYING SIDEWAYS TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT, AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE BELTS ON THE TIRE SEPARATED AGAIN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TREAD WAS FINE, THE BELT IN THE TIRE WAS FAULTY. *AK THE VEHICLE HAD A SLIGHT OIL LEAK. THE DEALER REPLACED TRANSMISSION SOLENOID PACK. UPDATED 03/19/07. *JB
RECENLTY ON MY LOCAL NEWS THEY HAD A STORY SAYING THAT 2001 DODGE VEHICLES WERE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH DASHBOARDS CAVING IN ON THE DRIVING WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE A 2001 CHRYSLER P.T. CRUISER (CHRYSLER IS A DODGE) MY DASHBOARD HAS A CRACK IN IT AND I'M CONCERNED THAT THIS IS NOT A ISOLATED PROBLEM AND MY DASH BOARD COULD SIND AT ANY MOMENT. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY WHEEL SPLIT. IT WAS THE ORIGINAL RIM ON THE 2001 PT CRUISER. I HAD TO REPLACE ALL FOUR RIMS, AND WENT WITH NON ORIGINAL BECAUSE I WAS TOLD THAT CHRYSLER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM. *AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. WITHIN THE LAST 6-7 MONTHS, THE DASHBOARD HAS STARTED TO CRACK. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THAT IT COULD BE DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS APPLIES A SUNSHIELD ON THE INTERIOR WINDSHIELD. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT HAD MUCH EXPOSURE TO THE SUN. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. APPROXIMATELY SIX MONTHS AGO, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS CRACKING. THE CRACK BEGAN FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE DASHBOARD ABOVE THE VENT AND IS APPROXIMATELY 14 INCHES LONG. SHE USES A SUN PROTECTOR FOR THE WINDSHIELD WHEN SHE CAN, BUT ADMITS THAT THE DASHBOARD IS EXPOSED TO A LOT OF SUNLIGHT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 35,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,000.
THE DASHBOARD OF MY 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER IS CRACKING IN MANY PLACES THROUGH THE MIDDLE SECTION. I'M AFRAID IT MAY COLLAPSE AS OTHERS HAVE. THE CRACKS ALSO RUN THROUGH THE TOP AIR VENT. I'VE RESEARCHED THE WEB AND FOUND MANY OTHER CASES OF THIS HAPPENING WHICH SOME HAVE CAUSED ACCIDENTS. HAS CHRYSLER ACKNOWLEDGED THIS PROBLEM AND IS THERE A RECALL POSSIBILITY? THIS IS THE FIRST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED THAT HAS DONE THIS. *TR

AFTER THE CRASH THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS BLINKING, AND WOULD NOT GO OFF. THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG ALARM. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE TO A REPAIR SHOP. THE REPAIR SHOP STATED THEY WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE REASON THE LIGHTS CONTINUED TO BLINK, AND WERE UNABLE TO MAKE THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 148500 MILES.*AK
2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER TAILLIGHTS CAME LOOSE AND OUT OF THE BODY OF THE CAR DUE TO CRACKED PLASTIC IN TAILLIGHT HOUSING. TAILLIGHT SECURED BY ONE SCREW AND ONE METAL CLIP THAT FITS IN A CHEAP, FLIMSY PIECE OF PLASTIC INSIDE THE TAILLIGHT HOUSING. ONE PUSHES DOWN ON THE CLIP TO SECURE IT TO THE BODY OF THE CAR. THE PLASTIC PIECE INTO WHICH THE CLIP GOES CRACKED AND BROKE OFF ON BOTH TAILLIGHTS. CAR IS GARAGED 90% OF THE TIME ELIMINATING EXPOSURE TO THE SUN WHICH MIGHT CAUSE THE CRACKING. A RATHER SIGNIFICANT DESIGN FLAW AS ONE COULD EASILY COMPLETELY LOOSE THE ENTIRE PHYSICAL TAILLIGHT(S)! *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE REPAIR SHOP FOR REGULAR MAINTENANCE, WHO DETERMINED THAT THE HEAD GASKET WAS SLOWLY LEAKING COOLANT. THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER STATED THAT THERE HAD BEEN OTHER VEHICLES WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. A SERVICE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED.
I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF 2001 PT CRUISER WITH 55,000 MILES. BABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO WHEN DRIVING I WOULD HEAR A CRACKING AND POPPING SOUND. THE DASHBOARD BEGAN CRACKING AND HAS NOW CRACKED COMPLETELY THROUGH, AND WAS BEGINNING TO CAVE IN. THE LOCAL NEWS CHANNEL HAS DONE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING ON THIS PROBLEM. VARIOUS CHRYSLER AND DODGE VEHICLES WERE EXPERIENCING THIS DANGEROUS FAILURE ACROSS THE NATION.DEALER WAS NO HELP.*AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. THE TIRES WERE CONTINUOUSLY FLAT AND THE CONTACT HAD TO ADD AIR IN THEM EVERY OTHER DAY. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CHROME WAS FLAKING INSIDE THE WHEELS AND DAMAGED THE TIRES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY COULD SCRAPE THE INSIDE OF THE WHEEL, BUT WERE UNSURE IF THAT WOULD CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 49,000.

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, THE DRIVER FRONT TIRE WAS FLAT. THE TIRE WAS INFLATED AND THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED ALL THE RIMS WERE CRACKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE WAS HARD TO STEER AND A BUMPING NOISE WAS HEARD. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED THE AIR PRESSURE WAS LOW IN TIRES AND ALL FOUR RIMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.

THE CONTACT WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE FUSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, WHICH WAS BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. IN ADDITION, THE HORN AND INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD ALSO FAIL SPORADICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH WAS REPLACED TO NO AVAIL. THE CONTACT WAS EXTREMELY CONCERNED WITH THE FACT THAT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE ENGINE RESTARTED AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS AND AN EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER WHO DETERMINED THE POWER CONTROL MODULE OF THE POWER TRAIN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER THE REPLACEMENTS, THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. ADDITIONALLY, ALL FOUR TIRES SLOWLY DEFLATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THE WHEEL RIMS NEEDED THE CHROME PLATE GROUND AND OIL APPLIED. THIS WAS DONE HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALERTED. UPDATED 10/25/2006 - THE RIMS ARE ALUMINUM CHROME PLATED. *NM
2001 PT CRUISER WITH 16 INCH CHROME WHEELS. CHROME IS FLAKING ON THE BEAD EDGE OF THE WHEELS CAUSING THE TIRES TO LOOSE PRESSURE. MINE HAVE BEEN SLOW LEAKS, BUT LEAKS COULD BE FAST. TIRES GO DOWN UNEXPECTEDLY, CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTS. TIRE REPAIR SHOP SAID COMMON FAILURE. SEES IT REGULARLY.*JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TRANSPORTED FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO THE DEALER, ADHESIVE TAPE WAS AFFIXED TO THE REAR BUMPER TO SECURE THE COVERING DURING DELIVERY AND THEN REMOVED. HOWEVER, OVER A PERIOD OF TIME THE TAPE RESIDUE CAUSED THE PAINT COLOR TO FADE. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE WHO WERE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE TIRES LOST AIR WITHOUT INCIDENT. AIR NEEDED TO BE ADDED EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS. AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP DETERMINED THE WHEEL WAS FLAKING OFF AND WAS NOT PROPERLY SEALED. THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED. THE RIMS WERE FLAKING AROUND THE VALVE OUTLET. UPDATED 10/04/06. *JB
IN 2001 BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2001 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. IN THE LAST 2 YEARS THE DASHBOARD HAS STARTED COLLAPSING ON ITSELF. THIS HAS EXPOSED THE WIRING HARNESS IN THE DASH TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND I AM AFRAID WILL MELT THE WIRING. I HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM. CHRYSLER SHOULD REPLACE THIS. *TR
OVERHEATING, STEAM ROLLING OUT FROM UNDER HOOD AND STALLING. REPAIRED 9/2006 AT THE COST OF $379.38. PROBLEM HAS STARTED AGAIN, 10 MONTHS LATER. *TR
CRACKS IN DASHBOARD AT CENTER VENT (IN 3 LOCATIONS), ALL EXCEED 4 INCHES IN LENGTH. *TR
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A PUDDLE OF FLUID WAS NOTICED UNDER THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. ALSO, WHILE REVERSING OUT OF THE GARAGE, THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THE POWER STEERING FLUID RESERVOIR HAD A PIN-SIZED HOLE. THE RESERVOIR WAS REPLACED.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE FOG LIGHTS WOULD NOT TURN OFF. THE NEXT DAY, THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AND THE FOG LIGHTS WORKED FINE. ON THE FOLLOWING DAY THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN IN EARLY MORNING WITH THE FOG LIGHTS ON HOWEVER THEY WOULD NOT TURN OFF AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED SOME WIRES IN THE WIRING HARNESS WERE MELTING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE COST OF THE REPAIRS THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.
