IN HOT WEATHER CAR IDLES WAY TOO FAST AND IS DIFFICULT TO STOP. *AK
CONSUMER HAD TAKEN VEHICLE TO DEALER SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO ERRATIC ENGINE BEHAVIOR, HOWEVER VEHICLE WAS NEVER CORRECTED, ON ONE OCCASION WHILE PULLING OUT OF A GARAGE, UP A RAMP, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION, CAUSING IT TO JUMP A CURB, HIT A TREE AND THEN HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE, THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONSUMER STATES THAT THE VEHICLE WILL ROLL WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE-2 TIMES/NO ACCIDENT OR INJURY. ON THE LAST INCIDENT, STOP AND GO, WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY PILED INTO A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM, CAUSING DAMAGE AND WHIPLASH, WILE CONSUMER'S FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE. THE CONSUMER MEASURED 2 INCHES BETWEEN THE BRAKE AND GRASP, THE OTHER VEHICLE MEASURED A 4 INCH SEPARATION. MOST BRAKE PEDALS ARE HIGHER AND AWAY FROM THE GAS PEDAL THERE ARE OTHER INCIDENTS *SCC
WHEN DRIVING AT 60 TO 70 MPH, CONSUMER STATES THE ENGINE WILL SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. CONSUMER HAS NO BRAKES AND STEERING IS VERY HARD. CONSUMER IS NOT ABLE TO RESTART VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. TS
THE DOOR PANEL SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR AND CAUSED INJURIES. *NLM
ALL FOUR OF THE VEHICLES DOOR HANDLES STARTED PEELING WHICH CAUSED INJURY TO THE CONSUMERS HANDS. *NLM
WHEN THE VEHICLE HIT A DIP IN THE ROAD THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. *NLM
THE ENGINE IS GONE OUT. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS. *AK
ENGINE FAILED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING. DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE CAUSE.*AK
CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION WHILE DRIVING AT 20 MPH AND THE FRONT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WAS NO INDICATION OR WARNING THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAGS BEFORE THE COLLISION. *AK *PH *NLM
WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED BRAKE PEDAL PULSATED. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, AND THE TECHNICIAN DETERMINED THAT BRAKE ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD ITS THIRD REPAIR IN THE LAST SEVEN MONTHS.*AK
