WHILE STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT I PUT THE CAR IN PARK. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN THE SHIFT LEVER WOULD NOT LEAVE PARK. THE CAR BECAME AN INANIMATE OBSTACLE TO FLOW OF TRAFFIC THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. *TR
BOUGHT THE 2006 SEBRING WITH 32,000 MILES ON IT, JUST BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. IT NOW HAS 62,000 MILES ON IT, AND IT LEAKING OIL PROFUSELY. I HAD MY MECHANICALLY INCLINED FATHER LOOK AT IT, AND IT APPEARS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE CRANKSHAFT. AS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ONLINE, THIS APPEARS TO BE A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES, AND WORSE YET, IF IT STARTS TO BECOME A PROBLEM BEFORE THE WARRANTY IS UP, DEALERS ARE SIMPLY REPLACING THE SEAL, ESSENTIALLY PUTTING A BAND-AID ON THE BIGGER ISSUE AND LEAVING THE EXPENSE UP TO THE CONSUMER TO DEAL WITH. AT THIS TIME I THINK I CAUGHT IT BEFORE IT GOT THE CHANCE TO LOCK MY ENGINE UP, I JUST THANK MY LUCKY STARS THAT I HAD TO DROP MY SON OFF TO SCHOOL ON A COLD DAY AND HAD LEFT THE ENGINE TO IDLE WHILE I WALKED HIM TO THE DOOR, AS THE ENGINE ONLY LEAKS WHILE RUNNING. HAD THIS NOT HAVE BEEN THE CASE, I WAS ABOUT TO TRAVEL TO A TOWN THAT TAKES OVER AN HOUR TO GET TO, TAKING A ROAD WITH VIRTUALLY NO GOOD PLACES TO STOP, AND MANY "DEAD-ZONES" WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE GETTING ASSISTANCE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT BE CHOOSING CHRYSLER FOR ANY FUTURE VEHICLES, UNLESS THIS PROBLEM IS RECTIFIED.
HORN DOES NOT SOUND UNLESS IT IS PRESSED WITH EXTREME FORCE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN MESSED UP SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR- DEALERSHIP NEVER FINDS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. REMOTE FOR HORN QUIT WORKING ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO- CAR IS A 2006. *TR
