For the last few weeks my car has been stalling when I come to a complete stop or as I am breaking. Sometimes it takes as many as 7 tries of putting it in park, turning it off and turning it back on. The check engine light is not on. Mechanic cannot determine problem. I have found hundreds of other claims saying the same thing with no resolution found. This has been a reoccuring problem and is inconsistent. Can happen 5 times in a 5 mile trip and 0 times in a 50 mile trip.
ticking started in the engine, idle is rough most times, #2 cylinder misfire and does not accelerate when gas pedal is pressed. occasional cut off while driving or stopping at a light. mechanic checked codes to verify. In september of 2023 transmission was replaced by a certified shop after the same similar issues. keep dumping money into a car that i am still paying on and maintain according to the maintenance schedule.
I WAS DRIVING IN A RESIDENTIAL STREET SUDDENLY MY VEHICLE MADE A NOICE WHEN O DROVE...I DROVE SLOWLY UNTIL I DROVE THE NEXT DAY, IT WONT AT ALL EVEN ON DRIVE SHIFT.
CRUISE CONTROL PERIODICALLY WILL NOT TURN ON AND NOT SET.
AFTER ENGAGING CRUISE CONTROL, THE VAN CONTINUES TO GAIN SPEED UNTIL THE CRUISE CONTROL IS TURNED OFF.
