DRIVER SIDE VENTS BLOW HOT AIR AND ALL PASSANGER SIDE VENTS BLOW COLD AIR.
WHEN I USE THE HEATER THE PASSENGER SIDE VENT BLOWS FREEZING COLD AIR AND THE DRIVERS SIDE BLOWS HOT, AND IT DOESN'T HAVE DUAL CONTROL TEMPERATURE.
WINDOW DEFROST AND PASSENGER HEAT /AIR. WHILE EITHER IN MOTION OR WHILE DRIVING, NO HEATED AIR EXITS THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER, NOR THE PASSENGER WINDOW DEFROST, LOWER AND CENTER CONSOLE VENTS. HEATED AIR ONLY EXITS THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDSHIELD AND DRIVER'S SIDE DASH VENTS. PROBLEM PERSISTS THROUGH ALL CABIN AIR MODES, AND CIRCULATIONS. THIS SAFETY ISSUE EFFECTS VISIBILITY AND PASSENGER SAFETY BY FAILING TO DEFROST/DEFOG WINDOWS AND KEEPING CABIN TEMPURATURES NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING DURING COLD WEATHER (BLOWING COLD AIR INTO THE CABIN)
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED, BUT FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A TREE AND A TELEPHONE POLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY THE INSURANCE AGENCY. THE CONTACT CALLED HILL-KELLY DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (6171 PENSACOLA BLVD, PENSACOLA, FL 32505, (850) 972-2050) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS BEYOND REPAIR. THE CAUSE OF THE BRAKE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *TT*JB
HEATER AND DEFROST DO NOT WORK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR, LEAVING HALF OF THE WINDSHIELD FOGGED UP. THIS CAUSES BAD VISIBILITY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR. LOOKING ON THE INTERNET, THIS IS A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE (DODGE AVENGER)
THE HEAT ON THE DRIVER SIDE IS BLOWING OUT WARM AIR WHILE THE VENTS ABOVE THE RADIO AND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ARE BLOWING OUT COLD AIR. TURNING THE CAR OFF OR TURNING THE AIR FROM COLD TO HOT DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. DEFROST IS NOT GETTING WARM ENOUGH TO DEFROST THE WINDOWS
THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAT DOES NOT WORK. THIS JUST STOPPED ONE DAY AROUND 110,000 MILES. THE DEALERSHIP LET ME KNOW THAT THIS WAS A MANUFACTURES DEFECT WITH THE HEATER CORE. THE ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM IS BEING ADVISED TO BE REPLACED. THERE IS ALSO A GOD AWFUL TICKING NOISE COMING FROM BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX WHEN THE HEAT IS TURNED ON. DODGE, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH READING ALL THESE REVIEWS ON THE EXACT SAME ISSUES, THAT YOU ALL ARE NOT STEPPING UP AS A COMPANY AND CORRECTING THIS ISSUE. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE? SOMEONE WRECKING A DYING DUE TO THE UNSAFE CONDITIONS THAT YOU ALL KNOWINGLY PUT US INTO? I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER DODGE AFTER THIS CAR. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND A DODGE TO ANYONE EITHER.
MY 2012 DODGE AVENGER JUST STARTING BLOWING COLD AIR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, BUT HEAT STILL WORKS ON THE DRIVER SIDE.
TAKATA RECALL THE DODGE AVENGER 2012 HAS MESSED UP HEATING SYSTEMS. THE LEFT DRIVERS SIDE IS HOT, THEN AS YOU GO TO THE PASSENGER SIDE IT IS ICE COLD. WHEN ON THE HIGHWAYS THE COLD DOESNT GO AWAY. IT STAYS COLD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THE WHOLE TIME. THE HOTTEST ONE IS LEFT OF THE WHEEL. THEN RIGHT OF THE WHEEL IS LUKEWARM. THEN PASSENGERS LEFT HEATER IS COLD AND PASSENGERS RIGHT HEATER IS FREEZING. DURING THE WINTER IT GETS TO BE -20 OUTSIDE. THERE IS NO WAY I AM ABLE TO DRIVE IN THAT SINCE MY CAR WONT HEAT UP CORRECTLY. NO AUTO SHOP IS ABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE. PLEASE ISSUE A RECALL SO WE ARE ABLE TO DRIVE IN COLD WEATHER AND HAVE OUR HEAT ON. PLEASE STABILIZE THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM TO WHERE IT IS ALL EVEN FOR EVERY HEATER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE HEATER WOULD NOT OPERATE AND THE WINDOWS COULD NOT BE DEFROSTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO FLUSHED THE HEATER CORE, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. IN ADDITION, WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. DURING THE FAILURE, THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE AND ESP ACTIVATION MALFUNCTION INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURES WERE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000. *BF. CONSUMER STATED MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED ON THE SAME DAY. *JB
VEHICLE HEATING SYSTEM FAILS TO PRODUCE HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. PROPER OPERATION OF COOLING SYSTEM CHECKED: FAILED THERMOSTAT REPLACED, COOLANT FLUSH PERFORMED, AIR BLED FROM SYSTEM PROPER COOLANT LEVEL CHECKED. HEAT IS PRODUCED ON DRIVERS SIDE, BUT STILL NOT ON PASSENGER SIDE. VENTILATION FANS CHECKED AND ARE FUNCTIONING AND BLOWING AIR. FAILED AIR BLENDER MOTORS REPLACED, ALL WORK PROPERLY AGAIN. CABIN AIR FILTER REPLACED. CAR STILL ONLY BLOWS COLD AIR ON PASSENGER SIDE. WAS INFORMED THAT THIS IS A KNOWN HEATER CORE ISSUE. VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 90,000 MILES
THE HEAT HAS STOPPED WORKING ON THE PASSANGER SIDE MAKING THE DEFROSTER NOT TO WORK. THOS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO ADDRESSED.
WHEN USING HEAT/DEFROST COLD AIR BLOWS FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS. THIS CAUSES PASSENGER SIDE OF WINDSHIELD TO FOG OVER WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE. ALSO, THE COLD AIR BEING BLOWN FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS WILL NOT MELT/DEFROST ICE AND SNOW ON PASSENGER SIDE IF WINDOWS. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL CAR, BUT DIDGE WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE ISSUE AFTER WARRANTY IS EXPIRED.
WHEN HEAT OR AC IS TURNED ON EITHER IN MOTION OR NOT THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE COMING FROM THE PASSENGER DASHBOARD ABOUT FIVE CLICKS AND THE CLICKS WILL STOP AND THE HEAT WILL COME OUT OF DRIVER SIDE, BUT COOL AIR ON PASSENGER SIDE. IF TURNED OFF AND BACK ON IT WILL REPEAT THE FIVE CLICKING NOISE AND THE HEAT WILL KICK ON. ALSO THIS "HEAT" IS LUKEWARM AT BEST.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFROST SYSTEM FAILED TO OPERATE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFROST SYSTEM FAILED TO CLEAR THE WINDOW ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, WHICH AFFECTED HIS VISION WHILE DRIVING. UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT SAND ENTERED THE COOLANT SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
SINCE OCTOBER 2015 IVE HAD ISSUES WITH THE DEFROSTING OF THE FRONT WILDSHIELD IN COLDER WEATHER. THIS REDUCES VISABILITY AND WITH SAFELY OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THE LEFT OR DRIVERS SIDE GETS WARM BUT THE RIGHT OR PASSENGER SIDE BLOWS ONLY COLD AIR. THIS DOES NOT ALLOW THE REMOVAL OF ICE OR FOG OFF THE WINDSHIELD THUS NOT ALLOWING YOU TO SEE COMPLETELY WHILE IN MOTION. IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE MANUFACTURER DUE TO POOR DESIGN AND A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIR. IT IS A VERY COSTLY FIX AND I FEEL MANY LIKE MYSELF CANNOT AFFORD TO REPAIR AND WILL ONE DAY IF NOT ALREADY COST IN HUMAN LIFE. MY VEHICLE STARTED WITH THESE ISSUES AT AROUND 30,000 MILES BUT DUE TO TIME RESTRICTIIN OF VEHICLE WARRANTY IT IS NOT A COVERED REPAIR. VEHICLE IS NOW AT 60,000 AND ISSUE SEVERLY AFFECTS VISIBILITY AND SAFE OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL AS IT SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THE MANUFACTURE ON VARIOUS MODELS AND YEARS.

HEATER CORE ISSUES LEAD TO INABILITY TO DEFROST WINDOWS AND EXCESS FOG IN THE CABIN.
ACTUATOR TICKING NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE
DODGE LEFT RESIDUAL MACHINING DEBRIS IN THE AVENGER ENGINE BLOCKS THAT FLOWS WITH COOLANT INTO THE HEATER CORE AND RADIATOR CAUSING THE HEATER CORE TO CLOG UP AND BLOCKS HEAT TO PASSENGER SIDE IN THE WINTER CAUSING UNSAFE OR UNFIT TO OPERATE IN COLD WEATHER.
NO HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF CAR, COME FROM THE DEFROSTER AND HEATER VENTS. ONLY COLD AIR, FINE ON DRIVERS SIDE.THIS IS THE SECOND TIME

PASSENGER SIDE DEFROST VENTS DO NOT BLOW HOT AIR, RESULTING IN POOR FORWARD VISIBILITY DUE TO FOG OR FROST.
THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE HEATING SYSTEM MALFFUNCTION, SO THE PASSAENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD DOES NOT DEFROST AND IT CAUSES A SERIOUS VISIBILITY/SAFETY HAZARD DURING THE COLD SEASON, THE WINDSHIELD REMAINS FOGGED UP WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE TO PULL UP SEVERAL TIMES ON THE FREEWAY TO MANUALLY SCRAPE FROST OFF THE OUTSIDE OF THE PASSENGER SIDE AND MANUALLY WIPE THE MOISTURE OFF THE INTERIOR. THE MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM CAUSED DUE TO FAULTY MANUFACTURING PROCESS WHICH LEFT END PRODUCTS THAT RAPIDLY CLOGS AND DESTROYS THE HEATING SYSTEM. DEALERS WHO WERE CONFRONTED WITH COMPLAINS ADMITS TO THIS. DODGE AVENGER 2012 OWNERS COMPLAINED THAT THEY HAD TO REPLACE HEATER CORES AND RADIATORS, SOME AS EARLY AS 12000 MILES AND THE COST RUNS FROM $1200 TO $3000. THE PROBLEM OFTEN REOCCURS WITHIN MONTHS BECAUSE EITHER THE DEALER USES THE SAME FAULTY PARTS OR THERE IS REMAINING RESIDUE IN THE SYSTEM. DRIVING IN COLD WEATHER IS NOT ONLY UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNHEALTHY, BUT CAUSES A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINS IN SEVERAL AUTO FORUMS. MANY REPORTED TO THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALERS WHICH ARE OVERLOOKED AND NEGLECTED. OWNERS WHO LIVE IN WARMER CLIMATES DON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM OR THESE COMPLAINS WOULD OF BEEN MORE ENORMOUS. DODGE AVENGER 2000,S SHOULD BE RECALLED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, OR THESE VEHICLES SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD DURING THE COLD SEASON FOR SAFETY REASONS. SOME DRIVERS MENTIONED HAVING TO HAVE A BLANKET FOR RIDERS IN THE PASSENGER SIDE TO USE WHILE TRAVELING WHICH ADDS TO THE HAZARD. NOTE: A DATE ENTRY IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THIS COMPLAIN BUT THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM EVERY FALL AND WINTER.
THE HVAC SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. WHEN THE HEAT IT TURNED ON, IT WILL BLOW HEAT OUT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE BUT NOT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, THE AIR FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE IS COOL AIR. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM ACCORDING TO RESEARCH I'VE DONE ON THE WEB, AND MOST PEOPLE SEEM TO THING THIS IS A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT THAT SHOULD REQUIRE A RECALL.
MY HEAT ALL OF A SUDDEN STOP BLOWING HOT OR EVEN WARM. I AM UNABLE TO DEFROST MY CAR IN THE VEHICLE OR KEEP MY CHILDREN AND I WARM AND I AM EXPECTING A INFANT ANY DAY. I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ISSUE WAS FROM CASING SAND CLOGGING THE RADIATOR, HEATER CORE AND THE OIL COOLER. THIS IS A MANUFACTURES DEFECT. A FLUSH OF THE RADIATOR AND HEATER CORE WILL NOT FIX THIS ISSUE. THE COST IS $1200 AND I DON'T THAT KIND OF MONEY RIGHT NOW AND IT IS TO NO FAULT OF MY OWN. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO THIS WINTER.
PASSENGER SIDE HAD KNOCKING AFTER USING AC. COLD WEATHER CAME AND NOW MY HEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOES NOT WORK. I'VE LOOKED THIS UP AND SEE LOTS OF OTHERS ARE HAVING THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND PEOPLE ARE PAYING WELL OVER $1K TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. I CANNOT AFFORD THAT ESPECIALLY WHEN THIS SEEMS TO BE A DEFECT FOR THE DODGE. I WOULD LIKE FOR THIS TO BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

HEATER AND DEFROSTER ON PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE HAVE STOPPED WORKING. MECHANIC STATED IT WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ISSUE WITH THE HEATING CORE AND RADIATOR, BUT DODGE WILL NOT COVER REPAIR EXPENSES. LACK OF DEFROSTER ON PASSENGER SIDE POSES SEVERE SAFETY RISKS DUE TO LACK ON VISIBILITY, ESPECIALLY DURING COLD WEATHER.
NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. DOESNT MATTER IF THE CAR IS MOVING OR NOT. DOESNT ALLOW DEFROSTING VERY WELL.
CONTINUOUSLY NO HEAT FROM ANY OF PASSENGER VENTS, INCLUDING THE REAR VENT BELOW THE PASSENGER SEAT FOR PASSENGERS IN BACK SEAT & A STRONG SMELL OF ANTI-FREEZE WHEN THE HEAT IS TURNED ON TO THE POINT OF NAUSEA, X2 WINTERS NOW, EST. 62,000 MILES, MAY HAVE BEEN THAT WAY AT 50,000 MILES WHEN I BOUGHT IT, BUT DIDN'T NEED HEAT THAT TIME OF THE YEAR OF EARLY SPRING.
MY CAR IS BLOWING COLD AIR OUT OF THE PASSAGE SIDE VENTS, THEN WARM ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, WHEN I RUN THE AC, AT IDLE OR DRIVING. THE AC NOW ONLY BLOWS COOL AIR OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE, AND WARM OUT THE DRIVER'S SIDE. WHEN I TURN THE CONTROL KNOBS, THE FAN WILL BLOW HIGH ON NUMBER 1. I BELIEVE THERE IS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE AS WELL, WHEN I HAVE ON THE HEADLIGHTS, AND ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW, THE LIGHTS DIM, THEN RETURN TO REGULAR BRIGHTNESS. THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS IN THE PASSENGER SIDE DASH FOR THE FIRST 10 SECONDS, WHEN STARTING THE CAR. MY BEST GUESS IS HEATER CORE OR ACTUATOR ISSUES. I KNOW THAT THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THESE CARS, PLEASE RECALL THE 2012 DODGE AVENGER SXT PLUS, TO FIX THE ISSUES AT HAND. THANK YOU
THE PASSENGER SIDE HEATER DOES NOT BLOW HOT AIR. HALF OF THE CAR IS COVERED IN FROST/CONDENSATION MAKING VISIBILITY ALMOST NON EXISTENT. IN HUMID OR COLD CLIMATES, THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD AS PASSENGER SIDE WILL NOT DEFROST/DEFOG AT ANY POINT, MAKING DRIVING THE VEHICLE DANGEROUS. COSTS TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE COST ALMOST $3000 DOLLARS AND IS CAUSED BY A DEFECT WHEN MANUFACTURING THE VEHICLE. DODGE INTENTIONALLY ALLOWS THIS PRODUCT ON THE MARKET WITHOUT CLEANING THE METAL SAND FROM THE HEATING SYSTEM DURING PRODUCTION, KNOWING THAT THIS WILL BE AN ISSUE DOWN THE ROAD AFTER THE VEHICLE IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. AFTER FUELING THE VEHICLE AND DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 3 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JIM COGDILL DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (8544 KINGSTON PIKE, KNOXVILLE, TN 37919) WHERE IT WAS INITIALLY DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. AFTER REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 92,000. *DT *JB
THE FRONT OF THE HOOD ON THE AVENGERS HAS CORROSION. CHRYSLER REPLACED SOME OF THEM BUT NOT MINE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STILL UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. THEY SAID IT HAD TO BE CLAIMED THE FIRST YEAR. I THINK CHRYSLER SHOULD RECALL ALL OF THE HOODS BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL CORRODED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE DEFROST WAS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY FOR THE CENTER AND PASSENGER VENTS. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MADDOX MOTOR COMPANY (LOCATED AT 564 GLOVER RD, SIDNEY, NE 69162, (308) 254-5577) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEATER CORE NEEDED TO BE FLUSHED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; BUT CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
HEATER CORE ISSUES FROM FACTORY FAIL BECAUSE OF SAND BUILT UP IN HEATER CORE SO NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE AND CAUSES WINDSHIELD TO FOG UP IMPAIRING VISSION
2012 DODGE AVENGER. 80K MILES. HEATING ISSUE: MY HEAT ONLY BLOWS "WARM" AIR OUT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE VENT. IT IS NOT EVEN HOT AIR, JUST WARM. THE OTHER VENTS ARE BLOWING COLD AIR. THE HEATER ACTUATOR DOOR HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE - NO IMPROVEMENT. THE THERMOSTAT HAS BEEN REPLACED - NO IMPROVEMENT. THE HEATER CORE HAS BEEN FLUSHED - NO IMPROVEMENT. AFTER DRIVING FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES IT WILL WARM SLIGHTLY, BUT STILL VERY COLD IN THE CAR DURING THE WINTER.
WHILE SITTING IN THE STATIONARY VEHICLE THE DRIVER SIDE ACTIVE HEADREST DEPLOYED WITH OUT BEING IN A COLLISION.
I BOUGHT THE CAR USED AND HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 9 MONTHS. EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE, WE KEEP REGULAR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND THE HEAT STOPS WORKING THE IN THE CAR ENTIRELY. THE VENTS BLOW COOL AIR NO MATTER THE SETTING WHICH MEANS THE WIDOWS DO NOT DEFROST AT ALL. THIS IS DANGEROUS IN THE WINTER TIME CONSIDERING I CANNOT SEE. I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM.
HEAT BLOWS OUT DRIVERS SIDE VENT. BUT BLOWS COLD OUT PASSENGER SIDE VENT. HAVE CHANGED THERMOSTAT AND ACTUATOR DOORS. HAVE FLUSHED SYSTEM SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL NO CHANGE. GARAGE ESTIMATED ME 1400 TO CHANGE OUT RADIATOR AND HEATER CORE BUT NOT GUARANTEED THIS WILL HELP MATTER. APPARENTLY THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE 2012 DODGE RAM.
HEATER ON PASSENGER SIDE STARTED BLOWING COLD AIR WHILE DRIVER SIDE BLOWS WARM
MY DODGE AVENGER RECENTLY STARTED STALLING/SHUTTING DOWN WHILE IN MOTION. IT HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS. I LOOSE ALL POWER TO THE STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKES, I CANNOT CONTROL THE CAR. THANKFULLY THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED ON LOCAL ROADS. I AM TERRIFIED IF IT HAPPENS WHILE I AM ON THE HIGHWAY WHICH I TRAVEL EVERYDAY ON MY WAY TO WORK AND BACK.
HEATER CORE LEAKING ABOVE GAS PEDAL. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IT'S GOING TO NEED TO BE REPLACED SINCE OWNING THE VEHICLE.
I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH MY HORN SOUNDING WHILE DRIVING AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THE HORN CONTINUED TO SOUND WHILE DRIVING AT DIFFERENT TIMES WITHOUT WARNING AND ON AUGUST 1, 2018 I WAS DRIVING AND IT WAS RAINING AND MY HORN STARTED SOUNDING AND I HAD MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON AT THE TIME AND WHEN THE HORN SOUNDED THE WIPERS STOPPED WORKING FOR A FEW SECONDS AND WHEN THE HORN STOPPED SOUNDING THE WIPERS BEGAN WORKING AGAIN. I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET AT THE TIME.I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY KEPT IF FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND THEN DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AS TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE UNKNOWN.
THE THROTTLE BODY CONTROL LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON WITH THE ABS LIGHT. HAD IT AND THE SENSOR CLEANED. TWO DAYS LATER THE SAME LIGHTS AND THE ENGINE LIGHT ARE COMING ON.
TAKATA RECALL MY CAR HAD BEEN HAVING THIS KNOCKING SOUND, AND THEN DEVELOPED THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING WAS STRETCHING INSIDE THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE BATTER LIGHT CAM ON BUT THE CAR WAS OK. THE NEXT DAY IT CAME BACK ON THE AIR CONDITIONING CAME ON THEM WENT OFF ALL THE OTHER LIGHTS ON THE DASH KEPT COMING ON AND OFF. K STOPPED AT AN AUTO PARTS STORE TO HAVE THEM CHECK IT, AND IT WOULD NOT START ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH WERE ON THE FRITZ AND RESET. WHEN DRIVING ON THE ROAD IT WOULD NOT LET ME GO ABOVE 40 MPH AND THE RPM WENT UP TO LIKE 4.
THIS CARS HOOD HAS FLOWN UP AND HIT THE WINDSHIELD ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, EVEN AFTER GETTING THE SAFETY LATCH REPLACED IT IS STILL FLYING UP WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH TO LOW SPEEDS.
