THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THAT ALL THE IDIOT LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD COME ON AND THEN WE PROCEED TO LOSE THE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES. CHRYSLER'S LEMON LAW DIVISION STATES THAT THEY WILL FIX IT AND THAT MY ISSUE IS NOT A LEMON LAW CASE. I SIMPLY HAVE REQUESTED THEM TO TAKE THE CAR BACK AND HAVE THEIR ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TAKE IT APART TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON WITH I AND TO GIVE ME A NEW VEHICLE. EACH OF THE THREE TIMES THIS HAS OCCURRED, WE HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY FORTUNATE TO BE IN A PARKING LOT ONLY TRAVELING A COUPLE MILES PER HOUR. THIS ISSUE WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN RESOLVED ALREADY AND HAS NOT APPARENTLY. I NO LONGER TRUST MY SAFETY AND LIFE NOR THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF OTHERS ON THE ROAD IF I WERE TO DRIVE THIS CAR AGAIN. THE ONLY REMEDIES THAT ARE ACCEPTABLE TO ME ARE TO REMOVE ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRING AND COMPUTERS AND REPLACE THEM WITH NEW OR TO EXCHANGE THE VEHICLE. I FEAR FOR MY SAFETY WITH THIS CAR. PLEASE NOTE THAT I ALSO HAVE A 2011 CHRYSLER 300C THAT HAS BEEN FINE WITH NO MAJOR ISSUES. *TR
I HAVE REPLACED THE PASSENGER HEADLIGHT BULB 6 TIMES IN THE YEAR I HAVE OWNED THE CAR. OBVIOUSLY IT IS NOT THE BULBS, NOR IS IT A FUSE. FACTORY WARRANTY JUST RAN OUT ON THE CAR. BEFORE WHEN I WOULD REPLACE A BULB THE LIGHT WOULD WORK FINE. BUT AS THE LIGHT WOULD GO OUT SOONER AND SOONER EVERYTIME IT SEEMS AFTER I WOULD REPLACE IT. THIS LAST TIME I REPLACED IT, IT WORKED BUT WAS OUT BYT HE TIME I GOT HOME FROM THE AUTO PARTS STORE. I DID NOTICE IT COMING ON AND GOING OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGH WAY. HOWEVER 95% OF THE TIME THE PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON. *TR
TREAD CRACKING AND COMING OFF OF TIRE ON THE INSIDE. *TR
CRACKING ALL AROUND THE INSIDE OF TIRE THE TREAD IS COMING OFF THE TIRE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHT BULB CONTINUOUSLY OVERHEATED AND CAUSED THE WIRING HARNESS TO BECOME MELTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN VERIFIED THE FAILURE AND NOTIFIED HER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V042000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM , EXTERIOR LIGHTING , SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS SPORADICALLY FAILED. THE CONTACT HAD THE BULB REPLACED MORE THAN TWICE BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER MORE THAN ONCE AND THE FAILURE WAS NOT ABLE TO BE REPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 14V101000 (LOSS OF LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS) BUT HAD EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TO BE DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38000.
CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO POLICE DODGE CHARGER. SUPERINTENDENT STATES A BURNING WIRE TYPE OF ODOR AND VEHICLE FILLED WITH SMOKE, WHICH WAS DETECTED FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. FIRE AND EXPLOSION INCIDENT REPORTED *TGW THE FIRE QUICKLY SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE AND AN OXYGEN CYLINDER EXPLODED AND BLASTED APPROXIMATELY 50-75 FEET AWAY. THE TRUNK LID BLASTED OFF, RESTING APPROXIMATELY 75 FEET FROM THE VEHICLE IN THE BACKYARD OF A RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED.
2011 DODGE CHARGER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DEFECT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS A 2ND AND 3RD DELAY UPON ACCELERATION AT CERTAIN SPEEDS. THE DEALER PERFORMED A FLASH ON THE TRANSMISSION AND HE WAS INFORMED THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO RE-LEARN HIS DRIVING HABITS. AFTER DRIVING OVER 700 MILES, THE 3 SECOND DELAY WAS AND STILL IS CONSTANT, THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2012, AND HE RECEIVED A CALL THE FOLLOWING THE DAY, AND WAS INFORMED THE TRANSMISSION WAS OPERATING WITHIN PARAMETERS. IMMEDIATELY,UPON LEAVING THE DEALER, THE CONSUMER NOTICED THE VEHICLE WAS RIDING VERY ROUGH. THE TIRES WERE RE-BALANCED AND AN ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED. THE CONSUMER ALSO NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT CENTERED PROPERLY, AND THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT.
CAR WENT INTO BATTERY SAVER MODE, RADIO SHUT OFF, TRIED TO MAKE IT HOME HAD TO PULL OVER AND HAVE TOWED, ALTERNATOR WAS OUT. WE JUST HAD TO PUT ANOTHER ALTERNATOR ON IN MAY OF YEAR 2014, SAME THING, RADIO OUT, MADE IT TO AUTO REPAIR SHOP, THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER BECAUSE THERE IS SUCH A HIGH DEMAND, WE WERE TOLD THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM IN THIS CAR. *TR

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 12V197000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS) AND CONTACTED THE DEALER TO SECURE AN APPOINTMENT FOR RECALL REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR HAD NOT BEEN AVAILABLE FOR APPROXIMATELY FIVE MONTHS. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED WITH DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITHOUT HAVING THE SAFETY DEFECT SERVICED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
HEADLIGHT HARNESS BURNS OUT THE BULBS. THIS ISSUE WAS PART OF THE CHRYSLER M10 RECALL. THE RECALL WAS DONE ON MY VEHICLE BUT THE ISSUE CONTINUES. I WAS ALSO CHARGED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR A NEW HEADLIGHT HARNESS. *TR
UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS, THE AUTO LIGHT CONTROL WAS ON FOR THE VEHICLES LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT USE. AS TIME WENT ON, AND A FEW STOPS WERE MADE, A PLASTIC AROMA WAS NOTICED SEVERAL TIMES DURING FREQUENT STOPPING BETWEEN TRAFFIC LIGHTS. THE VEHICLE'S EVIC MESSAGING SYSTEM WAS CHECKED FOR ANY OVERHEATING ISSUES DUE TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURES OF THE DAY. NOTHING WAS OUT OF THE ORDINARY. SEVERAL ONCOMING VEHICLES WERE FLASHING THEIR HEADLIGHTS TOWARDS OUR WAY IN ORDER TO WARN US OF AN ISSUE WITH OUR HEADLIGHTS, WHICH WE COULD NOT SEE FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME. AND IT WASN'T DARK ENOUGH TO SEE THIS ISSUE OCCURRING. WE PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO INSPECT, ONLY TO FIND OUR DRIVER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT FLICKERING AND STROBING. I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE YET ANOTHER HEADLIGHT LOW BEAM FROM THE LOCAL WALMART STORE, THAT WAS SPEC'D AS AN OEM REPLACEMENT FROM SYLVANIA. THIS WAS THE 2ND TIME THE LIGHT HAS BEEN REPLACED, BUT FIRST FOR ME TO DO SO. I TRIED TO REPLACE THE BULB, ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THE LOW BEAM CONNECTOR WAS MELTED ON THAT SIDE OF THE CAR, WHICH WAS ENCASED BY IT'S OWN PROTECTIVE HOUSING. UPON CLEANING UP THE CONNECTION THE BEST I COULD, WE GOT THE LIGHT TO WORK. THE NEXT FEW MILES WERE OK, BUT THEN NOTICED THE SMELL AGAIN. THE OCCURRENCE IS NOW HAPPENING EVERY DAY, AND WE TRY TO CATCH IT BEFORE THE CONNECTOR MELTS. THE CAR MUST STAY AT HOME UNTIL THE DEALER CAN LOOK AT THIS AND SOLVE THE ISSUE. THE ISSUE OCCURRED AFTER A RECALL ON THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER WAS COMPLETED A FEW WEEKS AGO, RECALL M10 WAS COMPLETED, AND NOW SEVERAL ELECTRICAL ISSUES HAVE FOLLOWED. TO NOW END, THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD OVER 26 ISSUES IN A SPAN OF 16 MONTHS NOW. AND WE'VE DEEMED IT UNFIT FOR DRIVING SAFETY, TO INCLUDE, BRAKE, ABS, STRUT, SWAY BUSHINGS, ROTOR, STARTING, POWER DRAINS, ETC. THIS LIST IS LONGER THAN MENTIONED ABOVE. WIRING IS EXTREMELY HOT AROUND THERE. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CHARGER EQUIPPED WITH FIRESTONE FIRE HAWK GT-V TIRES, SIZE 245 45 R20. THE CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 2 MPH WHEN THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT AND REAR TIRES SLIGHTLY CRASHED AGAINST THE CURB, CAUSING THE EXTERIOR RUBBER TO DETACH FROM THE TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE DOT NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 17,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE SPEEDOMETER BEGAN TO DISPLAY INACCURATE READINGS, THE AIR CONDITIONER BEGAN TO TURN OFF AND ON, AND THE RADIO WOULD PLAY CONTINUOUSLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE UPGRADED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE UNRELATED RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 12V197000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS). AS A RESULT, THE DRIVER WAS DRIVING 25 MPH AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE THEN CRASHED INTO A GUARD RAIL. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS AGAIN INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NECESSARY TO REPAIR THE RECALL WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER SENT AN ENGINEER TO EXAMINE THE VEHICLE. BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT AN AFTER MARKET PART BULB FAILED AND MELTED THE CONNECTOR FOR THE LOW BEAMS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN FAILED TO QUALIFY FOR REPAIRS UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER :12V042000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 32,500.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS HAD A SHORTAGE IN THE WIRING HARNESS. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE PASSENGER SIDE AND THREE MONTHS LATER THE DRIVER SIDE STARTED SHORTING OUT WITH THE SAME ISSUE. A FRIEND OF MINE HAD THE SAME EXACT ISSUE IN A BRAND NEW 2011 CHARGER AND REPLACED BOTH LAMPS IN A SIMILAR FASHION. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT THIS ISSUE WAS A PROBLEM FOR A FEW MORE CUSTOMERS. IT IS A RECALL FOR A POLICE CHARGER, BUT NOT A REGULAR CHARGER. *TR
THE FIRST TIME THE INCIDENT HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING DOWN LIVERNOIS AND THE HURLED THEM IT SHUT DOWN AND THE SERVICE POWER STEERING CAME UP AND THE THROTTLE LIGHT AND IT WOULD NOT START FOR ABOUT AND HOUR AFTER IT STARTED IT SHUT DOWN 10 MORE TIMES BEFORE WE WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME THIS WAS A SATURDAY NIGHT AT ABOUT 9:30 THEM WE TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY KEPT IT FOR 2 DAYS GAVE IT BACK AND IT DID IT AGAIN ON THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY TOOK IT BACK ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY AND THEY KEPT IT FOR A WEEK AND A HALF THEN I RECEIVED IT BACK AND IT DID IT AGAIN AD I TOOK IT BACK THEN IT DID IT AGAIN THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY AND I TOOK IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP THEY SAY THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED SO THEY GAVE IT BACK SO IT HAPPENS GAIN THIS PAT MONDAY MAY 11,2012 AN IT IS NOW AT THE DEALERSHIP THY STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG BUT IT HAS BEEN 4 TIMES AND I'M TERRIFIED TO DRIVE IT I HAD TO CHILDREN AND WHEN THE CAR CUTS OFF IT GIVES NO WARNING SO THE CARS BEHIND ME DO NOT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON I'M SCARED. *TR
TAKATA RECALL. MY PASSENGER AIRBAG RATTLES LIKE THERE ARE PARTS LOOSE INSIDE OF IT. CHRYSLER JUST KEEP SAYING THAT THE PARTS AREN'T AVAILABLE AND THAT I MUST UNDERSTAND THAT IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO MANUFACTURE PARTS AND DISTRIBUTE THEM EVERYWHERE. WITH ALL OF THE RATTLING INSIDE THIS AIRBAG DEVICE I'M FAIRLY SURE IF I HAVE AN ACCIDENT MY PASSENGER WON'T SURVIVE. IN REGARDS TO THE ELECTRICAL OFTEN WHEN I TURN MY VEHICLE OFF LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD RADIO AND CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL STAY ON EVEN IF THE DOORS OPEN. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND THESE ARE NOT LIGHTS OR FEATURES THAT SHOULD BE ON WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF SUCH AS THE AIR CONDITIONER LIGHT. THE PROBLEM BEGAN SOMEWHERE AROUND THE END OF 2013 BEGINNING OF 2014 THERE HAVE EVEN BEEN A FEW TIMES WHEN WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ALL OF THE INTERIOR LIGHTS INCLUDING THE DASHBOARD GO OUT. I'VE REPORTED IT TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS AND SHOWN PHOTOS TO THE DEALER WHEN REPORTING THE PROBLEM, THEY DON'T SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND OR HAVE TOLD ME THERE IS NO PROBLEM. *TR
WHILE TURNING LEFT TO CROSS MULTIPLE LANES ON THE HIGHWAY, I ACCELERATED TO GO AND THE CAR BEGAN COASTING. I PRESSED ON THE GAS AND NOTHING! I PUT IT IN NEUTRAL, HEARD IT REV AND PUT IT INTO DRIVE..STILL NOTHING! THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. WITH ON COMING TRAFFIC AND CARS SWERVING TO KEEP FROM PLOWING INTO ME, I QUICKLY PUT THE CAR IN PARK, SHUT IT OFF, TRIED TO RE-STARTED IT (X3)AND PUT IT IN DRIVE. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET IT TO GO. THE NEXT DAY, MY CAR WAS HARD TO START (X3). AFTER WARMING UP FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINS, I LEFT FOR WORK. LOW & BEHOLD, THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED AT THE SAME EXACT SPOT EXCEPT THIS TIME MY CAR SHUT OFF DURING THE TURN. ONCE AGAIN, WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND SPEEDING CARS DODGING MY STOPPED VEHICLE, I IMMEDIATELY THREW IT INTO PARK, TRIED TO RESTART IT X2, THEN PUT IT IN DRIVE AND WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE TRACTOR TRAILER WHO WAS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO STOP! ON THE WAY TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT HAPPENED TWICE TO MY HUSBAND BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAYS "THERE IS NO CODE, IT HASN'T HAPPENED TO US AND THUS NO PROBLEM" I CAN ASSURE YOU, AS A DEPUTY SHERIFF, THIS PROBLEM ISN'T JUST DANGEROUS, IT'S DEADLY! *TR
SAFETY CONCERNS THAT EFFECT VEHICLE CONTROL, EGRESS AND VALUE. STEERING HAS LOUD GRINDING SOUND AND BECOMES HARD TO TURN. UCONNECT AND ELECTRICAL OCCASIONAL PROBLEMS; TRUNK OPENS BY ITSELF, YOU CAN HEAR THE RELAY CLICK AND RELEASE THE TRUNK, DOOR HANDLES DO NOT UNLOCK THE CAR, AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON AND GOES OFF AFTER RESTARTING, UCONNECT CONTROL TOUCH SCREEN NOT FUNCTIONING, DASH LIGHTS STAY ON EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS LOCKED AND ALL OTHER LIGHTS OFF. *TR
WHILE DRIVING IN SOME RAIN ENGINE 5.7HEMI STALLED ,CRANKED IT BACK UP BUT ENGINE HAD A NOISE .PULLED IN TO STORE PARKING LOT CALLED WRECKER TO TAKE BACK TO DODGE DEALER (UNDER WARRANTY) THEY TELL ME IT HAS A BAD CONNECTING ROD AND THE WARRANTY NOR THE EXT WARRANTY COVERS THAT ,IT WILL TAKE 8K DOLLARS TO FIX ,LETS SAY I NO LONGER HAVE OR WILL DRIVE OR BUY ONE EITHER A DODGE. *TR

DRIVING AT 70MPH SPEED LIMIT,A CAR CAME OVER INTO MY LANE,AND I HAD TO SLOW DOWN. I THEN PUSHED DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR TO GET BACK UP TO SPEED,AND NOTHING. THERE WAS NO ACCELERATION AT ALL,EVEN AFTER I KEPT PUSHING ON THE PEDDLE. I HAD TO TAKE A FAST LOOK BEHIND ME,AND GO ACROSS 3 LANES OF TRAFFIC,ALL GOING 70MPH AND MORE,TO GET THE CAR TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. WE WERE LUCKY THE 4 OF US WERE NOT KILLED. THE CAR WENT DOWN TO BELOW 30MPH,EVEN THOUGH I KEPT PUSHING ON THE GAS. THEN IT TOOK OFF. THIS HAPPENED 2 TIMES,AND NOT QUIT SO BAD A FEW OTHER TIMES. WE WERE ON A 1 MONTH TRIP,AND WHEN WE LEFT THE CAR HAD JUST OVER 6,000 MILES ON IT,AND WAS 6 MONTHS OLD. WHEN WE GOT HOME IT WAS 7 MONTHS OLD WITH 12,000 MILES ON IT. AT ONE POINT CHRYSLER CORP.TOLD ME IT FITS INTO THE CAR BUY BACK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM. THEY DID NOT HELP ME.I GOT A 2012 CHARGER BECAUSE I DID NOT TRUST THE 2011. IT COULD KILL SOMEONE. CONSUMER EXPRESSES DISCONTENT CONCERNING CHRYSLER CORPORATION *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AND CHRYSLER WAS AWARE THERE WAS AN ISSUE AND NEVER INFORMED HIM. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE VEHICLE HAS A TERRIBLE BLIND SPOT, WHICH WAS RESTRICTIVE, AS HIS BODY TRANSGRESSED HIGHER TOWARDS THE BACK MAKING IT DIFFICULT SEEING LOW HOODS. ALSO, THE REAR WINDOW VIEW WAS HIGHER, APPARENTLY TO ALLOW MORE TRUNK SPACE, WHICH BLOCKED THE CONSUMER FROM SEEING, THE HOOD WHEN BACKING OUT OF PARKING SPACES. THE CONSUMER STATED HE COULD BARELY SEE THE SPEEDOMETER, THE NUMBERS WERE A LOT SMALLER AND DIFFICULT TO READ. ALSO, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO ADJUST THE TILT WHEEL. THE CONSUMER STATED HE HAD TO USE EXTRA STRENGTH TO PULL THE WHEEL UP OR DOWN. THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS A DRAG IN THE VEHICLE, WHEN HE REMOVED HIS FOOT FROM THE ACCELERATOR, THE VEHICLE WOULD SLOW DOWN MORE RAPIDLY. WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT A CONTINUOUS SPEED OF 70+ MILES PER HOURS, THE CAR DRIFTS IN THE LANE. I CAN HOLD THE STEERING STRAIGHT AND THE CAR CONTINUES TO BE A PROBLEM. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY AND I DON'T FEEL SAFE IN THE CAR. WITHIN ONE MONTH OF PURCHASING MY VEHICLE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON AND AFTER BRINGING THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER 3 TIMES IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THEN MY EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHT AND MY ABS LIGHT RANDOMLY STARTED COMING ON. I BROUGHT IT INTO THE DEALER AGAIN AND THEY SAID THEY HAD TO ORDER A PART. THEY "THINK IT IS ELECTRICAL" AND WOULD CALL ME WHEN THE PART CAME IN. TWO MONTHS LATER...NO PHONE CALL FROM THE DEALER. MY CAR WOULD NOT START TWO TIMES SINCE THE LAST VISIT TO THE DEALERSHIP. I WALKED INTO THE DEALER TO SHOW THEM THAT THIS LARGE LIGHT WITH AN ELECTRICAL SIGN AND BATTERY FLASHED ON AND MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT START JUST 15 MINUTES AGO. THE SERVICE MANAGER WENT OUT TO MY VEHICLE AND SAID MY ABS IS NOT WORKING. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALER THIS MORNING. AMONG THE ABOVE ISSUES THERE IS NOW A HEADLIGHT SAFETY ISSUE. THE FIRST WEEK I GOT MY CAR THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING. MY CAR WAS ORDERED FOR ME AND TOOK A LITTLE OVER TWO MONTHS TO BE DELIVERED. THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON, FLASHES AND THEN GOES OFF AT UNPREDICTABLE TIMES. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES BUT THEY NEVER PUT THAT COMPLAINT ON MY SHEET. FIRST ISSUE(S) OCCURED IN MAY OF 2011 AND HAVE CONTINUED TO DATE. OVER 25 VISITS TO 2 DEALERSHIPS FOR FIXES, AND NO ONE CAN GET A FIX ON IT. FIRST, IT WAS THE PASSIVE ENTRY DOOR HANDLES, WHICH HAVE OCCURRED 5 TIMES AND 5 FIXES SINCE LAST YEAR. SECOND ISSUE WAS THE POWER SHUTDOWN FOR THE CAR, 3 DEAD BATTERIES, AND SEVERAL ISSUES CONCERNING THE UCONNECT SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN DURING DRIVING. THERE HAS BEEN A RELENTLESS AMOUNT OF SUSPENSION AND BRAKING ISSUES OCCURRING. THE ISSUES INCLUDE HAVING TO REPLACE WARPED ROTORS, UNEVEN BALDING TIRES(TWICE NOW), ABS FAILING AND TRACTION CONTROL FAILING, UNEVEN DOOR SEAMS, FLAKING AND CHIPPING PAINT(ESPECIALLY BETWEEN BODY PANELS), AND NOW BRAKES AGAIN GRINDING SIDEWAYS IN THE CALIPERS. THERE HAS BEEN SO MANY ISSUES, THAT I HAD TO CONTACT A LAWYER, WHICH IS NOW PRESENTLY ON IT'S 97TH DAY OF SUBMITTAL TO GET THIS VEHICLE RECTIFIED. I'VE ALSO HAD THE VEHICLE IN THE CHRYSLER STAR CUSTOMER SATISIFACTION PROGRAM SINCE JAN. OF 2012 AT 8,012 MILES AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO WARRANTY THE ROTOR ISSUE, WHICH HAS FORCED US TO HAVE THE ROTORS CHANGED IT AT ANOTHER SERVICE, NOT BEING A DODGE DEALER. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY BEING LOOKED AT FOR BAD SWAY BAR LINK BUSHINGS AND SEVERAL OTHER BUSHINGS SHOWING DRY ROT PREMATURELY. I'VE ALSO EXPERIENCED THE TRUNK POPING OPEN IN MID DRIVING, WHICH HAS BEEN THE ONLY THING BESIDES THE 5TH DOOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT THAT HAS WORKED SINCE PURCHASING IT. RECENTLY, THE CARS TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 2ND GEAR AND WAS FORCED TO PULL OVER AND RESTART IT ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY.

THE DODGE CHARGER IS THE VEHICLE THAT HAS ACCELERATION PROBLEMS. SO FAR I HAVE COME CLOSE TO THREE ACCIDENTS DUE TO LACK OF ACCELERATION. THIS CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME AND NOTICEABLE WHEN YOU NEED TO ACCELERATE. I HAVE GONE TO A DEALER TO REPAIR THIS BUT THEY CANNOT FIX IT SINCE THIS IS AN INHERENT PROBLEM IN THE VEHICLE AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO FIX IT. UNDER PASSING CONDITIONS WITH HARD AND FAST ACCELERATION THE CAR DOES NOT MOVE AND IT FEELS LIKE IT IS DEAD THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND ON MANY OCCASIONS I COULD HAVE BEEN HIT. THIS IS REALLY A BAD SITUATION. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN AND THEY DO NOT BELIEVE ME THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE. THIS HAPPENS ANYTIME THAT THERE IS A STEADY OR CRUISING AND A NEED ARISES FOR PASSING OR GETTING OUT OF TROUBLE. THE GAS PEDAL WOULD BE DEPRESSED QUICKLY AND HARD BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. THE CAR SEEMS LIKE IT DIES AND THEN IT COMES BACK AND STARTS ACCELERATING. THIS TAKES ABOUT A SECOND OR TWO. OTHER TIMES IT GROWLS AND IT DOES NOT MOVE.
