THE FRONT ARM CONTROLS GO OUT QUICKLY. WENT TO A WELL KNOWN MECHANIC SHOP AND WAS INFORMED THIS IS COMMON AND FREQUENT IN CHARGERS AND MY HEADLIGHTS HAVE BLOWN. EVERY OTHER CHARGER I SEE, 2016 AND ABOVE HAVEVAT LEAST ONE HEADLIGHT OUT OR BOTH. THE HEADLIGHT ISSUE IS TOO FREQUENT FOR THIS TO BE JUST WEAR AND TEAR ON SUCH A RECENT VEHICLE. THE SUSPENSION WEARS OUT TOO QUICKLY AND IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO HAVE REPAIRED. I OWNED A CAR FOR MORE THAN 5 YEARS PREVIOUSLY AND THE SUSPENSION DID NOT SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR UNTIL AT LEAST THAT 4TH OR MAYBE 5TH YEAR. THESE 2 ISSUES I TRULY FEEL ARE A DEFECT WITHIN THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE.
The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle exhaust fumes were present in the cabin of the vehicle causing the 6-year-old daughter to become ill. Also, the traction stability control warning light would illuminate while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who serviced the vehicle for the failures but the failures continued to occur. No further information was available. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 42,000.

THE HARNESS ON THE CAR IS DEFECTED AND THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF ON THE CAR.
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK WITH THE HEATED SEATS ON. WHEN I GOT TO WORK I NOTICED A PAIN FROM MY RIGHT BUTTOCKS PRESSURE POINT. I HAVE APPROXIMATELY A 3 INCH BURN BLISTER ON MY RIGHT BUTTOCKS.

I NOTICE WHEN I'M ON THE INTERSTATE OR DRIVE AT SPEEDS PAST 55 MILES AN HOUR WHEN I PRESS THENBRAKES TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP THE CAR BEGINS TO SHAKE. IT DOES THAT SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T.
INSIDE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR PANEL IS COMING OFF. SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR FRAME 5 DAYS AFTER BUYING THE VEHICLE.
THE WIRING HARNESS ABOVE THE FUEL PUMP BECAME HOT ENOUGH TO MELT A HOLE IN THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK COVER AND ALLOW FUEL TO ESCAPE OUT OF THE TANK, UNDER THE BACK SEAT, THROUGH THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. THIS WAS REPORTED TO A DEALER, 6/20/17, WHO REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS AND FUEL PUMP. THIS WAS THE SECOND OF NOW 7 CARS, THIS ONE BEING CALLED UNIT 258. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER INTERIOR WINDOWS PANEL PLASTIC SHRUNK AND DETACHED FROM THE FRAME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CENTRAL FLORIDA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM LOCATED AT 8675 COMMODITY CIR, ORLANDO, FL 32819, 321-445-8017, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE LOCAL DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. INVALID VIN. *BF
AFTER FILLING MY CHARGER UP WITH PREMIUM FUEL, IT IMMEDIATELY STALLS WITHOUT WARNING WHILE I AM DRIVING, I LOSE THE POWER STEERING AND I AM UNABLE RESTART IT RIGHT AWAY. IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I FILL UP, AND I HAVE PAID OVER $500 DOLLARS TO THE DEALERSHIP TO TROUBLE SHOOT IT, AND THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLUE. VERY DANGEROUS FEELING. SOMEONE WILL BE KILLED FROM THIS ISSUE, IT COMES AT VARYING TIMES.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. PULLED OFF HIGHWAY INTO GAS STATION AND GASSED UP. WHEN TRYING TO START ENGINE IT MADE A HEAVY, THUNKING SOUND WHILE TRYING TO TURN OVER. GOT IT TOWED TO A GARAGE WHERE THEY SAID THE ENGINE DROPPED A VALVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THEN HAD IT TOWED TO ANOTHER GARAGE AND GOT THE SAME EXACT DIAGNOSIS - DROPPED A VALVE, CYLINDER DESTROYED, ENGINE A TOTAL LOSS AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE OWNER OF THE SECOND GARAGE SAID DROPPING A VALVE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE V8 2006 CHARGER.
CAR STALLS WHILE DRIVING
SMELL COMING OUT BLOWER FROM COMING UNDER HOOD. DEALER CAN NOT FIND A PROBLEM IS BURNT SMELL WHEN HAVE BLOWER GOING WHEN DRIVING THE CAR. I HAD THREE DIFFERENT TIMES THIS HAPPEN.I DO NOT I KNOW WHAT TO DO. I REACH TO DODGE AND IT IS NOW HAS RECORDS OF IT. I FOUND OIL UNDER ENGINE COVER WHICH THEY HAVE SAID ENOUGH ABOUT!!!!!!!! SO IF THIS CAR CATCH FIRE OR BLOW UP DO TO DEALER WAS AWARE OF ISSUES. *TR
I BOUGHT A CAR DODGE CHARGER 2016 SRT FROM SAUDI ARABIA ALKHOBAR UMC (UNITED MOTORS COMPANY) DODGE DEALER SHOW ROOM I RECEIVED THE CAR ON 23RD MARCH 2016. ALL REGULAR MAINTENANCE ARE DONE IN UMC CENTER SINCE THEN. - IN APRIL 2016: HEARD STRANGE SOUND FROM THE FRONT WHEELS: FIRST TIME I GAVE THE CAR UMC SERVICE CENTER AND THEY CHANGED THE RIGHT WHEEL BEARING HEARD SAME SOUND AGAIN FROM FRONT WHEELS THE SECOND DAY: SECOND TIME I GAVE THE CAR TO UMC SERVICE CENTER AND THEY CHANGED THE LEFT WHEEL BEARING IN DECEMBER 2016 AFTER 37000 KM I STARTED SEEING THE FOLLOWING: 1- MESSAGE IN THE DASHBOARD "TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH" 2- STRANGE SOUND COMING FROM THE GEARBOX 3- STRANGE SOUND AND VIBRATION COMING FROM THE ENGINE THIRD TIME: I GAVE THE CAR TO UMC SERVICE CENTER AND IT STAYED FOR THREE DAYS THEN THEY SAID NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CAR, SO I ASKED THEM TO HAVE AN ENGINEER TO TEST IT, THE ENGINEER DROVE THE CAR AND SPEED UP TO 200 KM/HR AND HE HEARD STRANGE SOUND FROM THE CAR AND ACKNOWLEDGED THE CAR PROBLEM FORTH TIME: I GAVE THE CAR TO UMC SERVICE CENTER, THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEMS WITH GEARBOX AND ENGINE, AND THEY KEPT THE CAR NOW FOR ALMOST ONE WEEK. THEY INFORMED ME TWO DAYS AGO THAT THEY HAVE TO REPLACE THE GEARBOX AND ALSO THEY HAVE TO DISASSEMBLE THE ENGINE AND CHANGE THE 16 HYDRAULIC VALVES OF THE ENGINE, DUE TO MY COMPLAINT THEY TOLD ME TODAY THAT NO GEARBOX REPALCEMENT WILL BE DONE I AM NOT ACCEPTING TO BUY TOP END CAR SRT FROM DODGE THEN I HAVE ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS IN THE CAR. THE DEALER IN SAUDI IS REFUSING TO DO THE ABOVE AND REFUSING TO HELP OR SUPPORT BY EVEN RAISING IT TO USA HEAD QUARTERS SO I TOOK THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS: 1- SENT MULTIPLE EMAILS TO DODGE FCA GROUP MANAGEMENT 2- CONTACTED THE USA CUSTOMER SERVICE HOT LINE TO FILE A COMPLAINT 3- I FILED A COMPLAINT IN THE SAUDI CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY AGAINST UMC
AFTER FILLING UP THE GAS TANK, THE VEHICLE WILL STALL FOR NO APPARENT REASON. IT WILL RESTART BUT IMMEDIATELY STALL AGAIN CAUSING ME TO RESTART IT AGAIN. IT WILL DO SO 5 TO 10 TIMES BEFORE RUNNING NORMALLY AGAIN. IT DOESN'T SEEM TO MATTER AT WHAT SPEED BUT MOSTLY AT SLOWER SPEEDS. I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN LANES ON THE FREEWAY AND IT COULD LEAD TO A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION ESPECIALLY HERE IN CALIFORNIA. THIS CAR HAS BEEN BABIED AND HAS LESS THAN 25,000 MILES ON IT.

DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, BECAME NAUSEATED AND DIZZY FROM FUMES COMING FROM A/C VENTS. DEALER FOUND LEAKING HEATER CORE. CAR WAS NEW WITH LESS THAN 100 MILES. NOTICED SLIGHT SMELL AT PURCHASES, SALESMAN SAID IT WAS JUST "NEW CAR SMELL". CAR PRESENTLY IN DEALERS REPAIR SHOP. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE CHARGER. WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND RELEASED, AN ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED FROM EITHER THE BRAKE BOOSTER OR THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE TO BE DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200.
VERY DECREASED VISIBILITY IN WINDSHIELD WHEN SUN HITS IT. LOOKS LIKE MICRO SHATTERS IN THE WINDSHIELD. UNABLE TO GET TO IT, LIKE THE "MILLIONS OF SPARKLES" ARE INSIDE THE GLASS. UNABLE TO MAKE OUT ANYTHING IN FRONT OF THE CAR EXCEPT BIG SHAPES (CAR, TRUCK, ETC). THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE SUN IS IN FRONT OF YOU, MORNING AND EVENING COMMUTE IS WHEN IT HAPPENS TO ME EVERY DAY. THE CAR CAN BE IN MOTION OR SITTING STILL, WHEREVER YOU ARE.
THE LED LIGHTS ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE ARE VERY BRIGHT AT NIGHT. DUE TO THE CONTINUOUS BAR WITH NO BREAKS, IT IS DIFFICULT FOR OTHERS TO JUDGE DISTANCE AND SPEED. THIS IS VERY EVIDENT WHEN DRIVING IN MIXED TRAFFIC. VEHICLES WITH TWO SEPARATE LIGHTS ARE EASIER TO JUDGE DISTANCE AND SPEED DIFFERENCES. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH STEREO VISION LIMITATIONS AT NIGHT.

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SWITCH FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL TO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE STEERING COLUMN UNDERCARRIAGE TRAPPED THE CONTACT'S FOOT ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,950.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. A POLICE AND A FIRE REPORT WERE FILED. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT DETERMINED THE ENGINE WAS THE RESULT OF THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,200.
STRONG SMELL OF RAW FUEL AFTER CAR WAS DELIVERED ON MARCH 4, 2016. THERE IS A LEAK IN THE FUEL SYSTEM WHICH HAS NOT YET BEEN RECTIFIED BY THE DEALERSHIP AS OF MARCH 17, 2016. WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING, YOU CAN SMELL FUEL (RAW GAS). IT ACTUALLY WAS COMING IN TO THE CABIN VIA THE FRESH AIR VENTS ON THE DASH. IT'S WORSE WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED OR AT A STOP LIGHT. I DETECTED WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A LOOSE FUEL LINE BUT DEALERSHIP HAS NOT YET STATED WHETHER THAT IS THE PROBLEM. THEY REPLACED A FUEL RAIL BUT FUEL SMELL DID NOT GO AWAY. THIS WAS A SERIOUS FIRE HAZARD.
BURNT PLASTIC AND CHEMICAL SMELL, EXHAUST FUMES IN CABIN CAUSING MIGRAINE, VOMITING,DIZZINESS IN FACT CAUSED SKIN TO TURN GREY. DEALERSHIP WAS NO HELP SO WE CONTACTED DODGE CORPORATE AND SERVICE APPOINTMENT WAS MADE AFTER 2 WEEKS AND DODGE HAVING AN INTERNAL INVESTIGATION OF VEHICLE WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE 2016 DODGE CHARGER RALLY EDITION IS UNSAFE AND WAS PLACED FOR BUYBACK.WE ONLY HAD POSSESSION FOR 14 DAYS. THE DEALERSHIP THO IS REFUSING TO DO THE BUYBACK EVEN THOUGH THY HAVE 100% POSSESSION AND CONTROL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RELEASE THE SEAT BELT CLIP FROM THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE. ON ONE OCCASION, THE CONTACT BECAME TRAPPED DUE TO THE CLIP NOT RELEASING FROM THE BUCKLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BRIGGS DODGE RAM FIAT (3001 S. KANSAS AVE, TOPEKA, KS 66611, (785) 246-8019) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE SEAT BELT CLIP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT CLIP WAS REPLACED SIX TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000.
