TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEMS A MALFUNCTIONING TPMS LIGHT WILL NOT NOTIFY AN OWNER OF AN IMPROPERLY INFLATED TIRE. AN IMPROPERLY INFLATED TIRE MAY EXPERIENCE A COMPLETE LOSS OF TIRE PRESSURE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
HI ON NEW YEARS EVE MY BRAKES FAILED AND I HIT A DOG GOING 45 MPH THEN ON JAN 5 A 18 WHEELER CAME OVER ON ME AND I HIT MY BRAKES GOING 70 MPH ON INTERSTATE BUT NEVER SLOWED DOWN IT DID MAKE A MARK IN THE ROAD BUT NO.SOUNDS OR ANYTHING. I GOT OVER AS MUCH AS I COULD I HIT THE GUARDRAIL THEN SPUN IN TWO LANES AND HIT THE OTHER GUARDRAIL. NOT ONE AIRBAG CAME OUT. A FEW MONTHS BEFORE THAT MY BRAKE BOOSTER WENT OUT. ALSO I HAVE A RECALL ON MY TRANSMISSION BUT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PART TO FIX IT SO IT COULD BE THROWED I TO NEUTRAL WITHOUT A NOTICE.. I HAVE PICTURES OF THE CAR THE ACCIDENT THE BRAKE BOOSTER AND A POLICE REPORT . THE CAR ONLY HAS ABOUT 80,000 MILES ON IT AND THE 2013 AND 2014 ALL HAVE BRAKE PROBLEMS AND ONLINE ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT 2015 BRAKES AND AIRBAGS. I FEEL THESE CARS SHOULD BE PULLED OFF THE MARKET I STILL OWE ALOT OF MONEY ON THIS CAR AND.FORKING OUT OVER ANOTHER $500 OR MORE TO FIX IT SO I CAN DRIVE IT.
WELL FIST THING EVER WENT OUT WAS AC COMPRESSER THE DEAL SHIP WANTED OVER1,200 TO FIX THAT . THEN MY GEAR SHIFT WENT OUT . NOW MY BREAKS ARE MAKING A NOISE BUT THEIR NOT BAD . THEN WHEN YOU GET 20 MILES PR CAR WANT SHIFT UNTIL YOU TAKE YOU FOOT OF GAS THEN IT WILL CHANG GEARS .

THE FAILURE RECURRED WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 70 MPH. THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED TO THE SIDE AND CRASHED INTO A GUARD RAIL. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WAS NO INJURY REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED. HOWEVER, THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE CALLED AN UNKNOWN DEALER A WHILE BACK WHEN SHE EXPERIENCED A BRAKE ISSUE AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
I TURNED MY CAR OFF AND WALKED INTO WORK AND WHILE I WAS GONE AND MY CAR WAS OFF IT CAUGHT ON FIRE IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT AND IS NOW TOTALED.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 33,400.
WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, BUT MAINLY AT LOWER SPEEDS AND WHILE AT A STOP, THE ENGINE WILL STALL AND ALL POWER IS LOST TO STEERING AND BRAKES WHILE SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS THEN APPEAR ON THE DASHBOARD - I HAVE READ ON CHAT ROOMS OF HUNDREDS OF THESE OCCURRENCES, AND MOST SEEM TO PINT TO A LOW OIL CONDITION THAT DOES NOT FIRST LIGHT THE OIL LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD, BUT SOME INDICATE OTHER ELECTRICAL ISSUES.
WHILE DRIVING I LOST COMPLETE USE OF BRAKES AND NEEDED TO USE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA AT NORMAL SPEED LIMITS. BRAKES COMPLETELY WENT DOWN TO FLOOR AND CAR ACCELERATED. I NOTICED A AIR SWOOSHING SOUND AS I ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO THEM. I WAS TOLD IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH VACUUM HOSE RUNNING TO VACUUM PUMP TO BRAKE BOOSTER THAT WAS/IS LEAKING THAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. THEY DEEMED CAR UNSAFE TO DRIVE UNTIL I PAY FULL PRICE FOR REPAIR ALTHOUGH I HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY. THERE WAS A RECALL ON 2013-2014 DODGE DARTS FOR THIS ISSUE. CAN IT BE POSSIBLE THE 2015 DODGE DART IS ALSO AFFECTED? I'M AT 47, 985 MILES. I AM THE ONLY OWNER.*DT REPAIRED *JB
MY 2015 DODGE DART HAS STARTED TO OVERHEAT WHILE SITTING IN LIGHT TO HEAVY TRAFFIC GOING THROUGH SEVERAL STOP LIGHTS AFTER DRIVING 30 MINUTES NON STOP. I DID HAVE THE RECALL DONE ON IT FOR THE THERMOSTAT WHEN IT CAME OUT. I HAVE MY CAR SERVICED AND EVERYTHING CHANGED LIKE YOUR SUPPOSE TO SO WHY IS MY CAR OVERHEATED BUT WHEN I TAKE OFF IT COOLS DOWN? THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE NOW!!
I HAVE TRIED TO SCHEDULE A RECALL FOR MONTHS. I RECEIVED THE NOTICE, CALLED JIM CLICK DODGE, WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR MONTHS. AFTER ABOUT 4 MONTHS OF THIS, THEY STARTED TELLING ME THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TODAY AND WHEN I ARRIVED, THEY SAID THAT THEY DIDN'T ORDER THE PART AND IT WOULD BE ANOTHER WEEK. I'VE CALLED LARRY H. MILLER AND WAS PUT ON A "LIST". I CONTACTED CHRYSLER AND THEY WEREN'T ANY HELP EITHER AND JUST KEPT SAYING "I'M SORRY". CHRYSLER NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW.
ON 10/24/19 WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SMOKE AND LOSE POWER. I HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY EXIT OF FREEWAY ONCE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT TURN OVER INSTEAD IT MADE A THUMP SOUND. THE VEHICLE SMELLED LIKE GAS AND OIL INSIDE. LEADING UP THE THIS EARLIER IN THE WEEK THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WHILE AT STOP SIGNS AND LIGHTS FEELING LIKE IT WAS GOING TO DIE. CAR WAS TOWED TO MY HOUSE THEN ON 10/25/19 VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DODGE DEALER WHERE IT IS CURRENTLY STILL AT.
DROVE TO WORK FINE. GOT INTO DART TO LEAVE, STARTED CAR. AFTER 2 SECONDS I FEEL THE BRAKE PEDAL PUSH OUT HARD AGAINST MY FEET WITH A HISSING SOUND. THE ALARM "SERVICE ELECTRONIC BRAKING SYSTEM" POPS UP. I'M THINKING IT'S JUST EXTRA PRESSURE LIKE OLDER VEHICLES, SO IT'S OK. BUT NO, I PULL OUT OF THE PARKING SPOT AND REALIZE I HAVE TO STOMP THE PEDAL WITH EXCESSIVE FORCE TO GET ANY STOPPING RESPONSE. I HAD TO DRIVE IT HOME VERY CAREFULLY, BUT THE BRAKING RESPONSE WHEN PRESSING THE PEDAL IS ABOUT 2 SECONDS OF SLOWING THEN A HISS AND YOU FEEL THE BRAKES LET GO, SO YOU EITHER HAVE TO KEEP DOING THAT OR STOMP WITH ALL OF YOUR MIGHT AND PRETTY MUCH LOCK UP THE BRAKES. I'M NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER, I GOT THE CAR ABOUT 1.5 YEARS AGO AT 48000MI, I'M NOW AT 64239MI AND VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY. IT'S A 2015, AND LOOKING UP RECALLS THE 2013 AND 2014 CARS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS SAME ISSUE, BUT FOR SOME REASON MY CAR (WHICH IS A 2.4L MANUAL, ALMOST IDENTICAL IF NOT THE EXACT SAME CAR TO PREVIOUS YEARS) WAS NOT. I DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS TO REPLACE A BRAKING SYSTEM AND REALLY DON'T FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO BECAUSE THE CAR ITSELF ISN'T OLD ENOUGH TO CONSTITUTE A BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE.
WHEN PULLING INTO THE STORE A WARNING CAME ON MY SCREEN STATING THAT MY TURN SIGNALS WERE OUT WHEN THEY WEREN'T. ALSO STATED THAT MY LOW BEAMS WERE OUT, THEY WEREN'T. WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC A METALLIC BURNING SMELL CAME THROUGH THE AIR VENTS EVERY COUPLE MILES.
2015 DODGE DART. THE FUEL LEVEL SENDER HAS STOPPED WORKING. IT AFFECTS THE MILES TO EMPTY, THE FUEL GAUGE, ALSO THE GAS TANK LIGHT IS ON. IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX. AT THE DEALER JUST TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM (WHEN YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT IS) COSTS $175.00. LABOR COSTS ARE ESTIMATED BETWEEN $61 AND $78 WHILE PARTS ARE PRICED BETWEEN $647 AND $1294. ESTIMATE DOES NOT INCLUDE TAXES AND FEES.
CLUTCH STICKS TO THE GROUND AND LOOSES PRESSURE, WILL NOT SHIFT, FAILS TO ENGAGE AND DISENGAGE GEARS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE DART. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR SUDDENLY ILLUMINATED, WHICH MEANT THAT THE ENGINE OVERHEATED. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS NO COOLANT IN THE COOLANT RESERVOIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT COOLANT WAS LEAKING FROM THE THERMOSTAT. THE THERMOSTAT WAS REPLACED AND THE FAILURE WAS REMEDIED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000.
BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON. RECALL FOR SHIFTER WAS FIXED, BUT THE FUSE BOX IS NOW BURNT. IT'S IS A SPECIAL PART. I THINK THAT THERE IS A CORRELATION BETWEEN THE RECALL THEN PART IS INTER THE BATTERY AND NEAR FUSE BOX,
CAR ENGINE TENDS TO IDLE FAST IN PARK AND ENGINE LIGHT READING FUEL CAP. I HAVE HAD THE CAR CHECKED AND PURCHASED FUEL CAP BUT INSPECTION IS READING AS FUEL LINE PROBLEM.
The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the gear shifter failed to function as intended. The contact stated that the key failed to release from the ignition. The contact stated that it took five hours to get the key out of the ignition. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that an unknown recall repair was performed in September of 2019, which involved the replacement of the shifter bushing cable. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

WHILE DRIVING WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ON THE CAR WILL JERK, THE CRUISE CONTROL WILL TURN OFF AND THE DASH WILL LIGHT UP SAYING ELECTRIC BRAKE SERVICE, I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE PANEL IF NEEDED, ALSO THE CAR WILL NOT ALWAYS START WHEN THE CLUTCH IS DEPRESSED, TRACTION CONTROL ALSO LIGHTS UP FOR NO REASON, THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE OCT, 3 2019
THE CAR WILL RANDOMLY DIE WHILE DRIVING. WHILE PERFORMING A TURN AND THE CAR DIES IT LOCKS THE STEERING AND NO USE OF BRAKES. NOW THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START AT ALL. ALTERNATOR, BATTERY AND STARTER HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND STILL NOTHING. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. IT HAS ALWAYS EVENTUALLY STARTED UP UNTIL RECENTLY.
THE RIGHT WINDOW NO LONGER WORKS AS WELL AS THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. THE TRUNK IS ALSO NOT WANTING TO OPEN. KEY GETS STUCK IN IGNITION EVERY TIME I TRY AND TURN THE CAR OFF. SHIFT CABLES ALSO BROKE, I WAS JUST GETTING HOME WHEN IT HAPPENED I HEARD SOMETHING SNAP BUT DIDN'T THINK MUCH THEN I PARKED AND TRIED TO DRIVE OFF AGAIN AND THE CAR WOULDN'T SHIFT TO DRIVE I COULD MOVE THE STICK.BACK AND FORTH STILL,HAD IT REPLACED A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER THEY SAID THE WHOLE ROD HAD COME OUT AND SHOT INTO SOMETHING ELSE IN THE VEHICLE HAD SHIFT FIXED. ALSO HAD MOTOR MOUTHS FIXED THE MOUTHS BECAME LOSS WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW I BELIEVE THE AC COMPRESSOR IS MESSING UP AC KICKS ON BUT NO AIR COMES OUT, BUT IT ONLY HAPPENS ONCE IN A WHILE CAR ALSO STAYS COLD FOR A LONG WHILE AND MAKES A WEIRD CLICKING NOISE WHEN I START IT UP. ALSO SMELLS LIKE OIL. PASSAGE SEAT ALSO IS STUCK. THIS ALL HAPPENED WITHIN 2YEARS IVE HAD THE VEHICLE.
WHEN I'M DRIVING, MY CAR HAS COMPLETELY LOST POWER AND WOULDN'T MOVE. THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON, ALTHOUGH I HAVE A BRAND NEW BATTERY THAT I GOT A YEAR AGO, AND WHEN I TURN THE CAR COMPLETELY OFF TO RESTART IT, IT WILL NOT TURN BACK ON. I FOUND A RECALL AND HAD THE RECALL FIXED AND IT IS NOW WORSE WITH SHIFTING THAN IT WAS BEFORE, AND IT'S STILL STALLING AND LOSING COMPLETE POWER. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY RISK AS IT CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR DEATH, IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY OR TURNING AT AN INTERSECTION. FORTUNATELY ENOUGH, I WAS AT THE END OF MY STREET, STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND WENT TO DRIVE AGAIN AND THAT'S WHEN IT LOST POWER.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED THE SAME INFORMATION AS THE DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.

THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD CURRENTLY ACTIVATE CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT INCREASING SPEED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WIPERS DID NOT MOVE FAST ENOUGH TO SEE THE ROAD CLEARLY DURING HEAVY RAIN. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THE SAME AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,870.
I GO TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND IT THE SHIFTER SAYS PARK, BUT ONLY DOES REVERSE IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE I AM AND PARK!! I HAVE ROLLED INTO TRAFFIC. HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO ON ON THE RD WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I HAR TO DRIVE IT IN REVERSE TO A SAFE PARKING SPOT AND UTILIZE THE EMERGENCY BREAK.IT WILL NOT GIVE ME MY KEY BACK OR TURN THE IGNITION INTO THE OFF POSITION. NOW MY BATTERY IS ALSO DEAD.
REAR VIEW CAMERA WENT OUT ON MY 2015 DODGE DART... THIS CAME RIGHT AFTER A RECALL AND MY TRANSMISSION CABLE BUSHING SNAPPED.

VEHICLE IS UNDER RECALL ALREADY, ITS STUCK IN NEUTRAL, THE GEAR SHIFT MOVES BUT THE TRANSMISSION ISN'T CHANGING GEAR. TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP AND THEIR GIVING ME PROBLEMS EVEN LOOKING IT UP TO VERIFY THE RECALL AND TO INSPECT IT. THEY AGREED TO GIVE ME A RENTAL CAR AFTER THEY VERIFY THE RECALL BUT TOLD ME IT COULD BE WEEKS TILL THEY HAVE TIME TO EVEN LOOK AT IT. THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE MANY OTHER CARS THAT NEED REPAIRED AND THIS WASN'T A TOP PRIORITY. SO MY CAR IS AT THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP TO WHERE I BROKE DOWN, WAITING FOR THEM TO HAVE THE TIME TO EVEN VERIFY THE RECALL? VEHICLE IS MAKING A RATTLING SOUND WHEN TURNING AT A SLOW SPEED. SOUNDS LIKE METAL SCRAPING. HAPPENS WHEN TURNING BELOW 10MPH ON A SLANTED OR STRAIGHT ROAD. AND SHIFTER CABLE BRUSHING IS WEARING. ACTIVE RECALL BUT NO REMEDY AVAILABLE.
THE RACETRACK TAIL LIGHT ON MY 2015 DODGE DART HAS HAD A SEAL ISSUE CAUSING WATER TO GET BEHIND THE LENSE AND CAUSING THE LED LIGHT TO BURN OUT. NOT ALL OF THEM. I'VE SEEN MULTIPLE DODGE VEHICLES WITH THE SIMILAR ISSUE. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN GET THEM MOTIVATED TO GET IT FIXED.
I WAS NOTIFIED ON 04/18/2019 OF THE MANUFACTURER SAFETY RECALL ISSUED NHTSA #19V-293 #V34 2013-2016 DODGE DART PF SHIFT CABLE BUSHING. IT IS NOW 08/18/2019 4 MONTHS LATER AND THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY AVAILABLE. WHILE I HAVE NOT HAD A MISHAP AND THE PART HAS NOT FAILED YET I FEAR IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME. MY SON IS NOW AT COLLEGE ON HIS OWN WITH THE 2015 DODGE DART AND I HAVE TO REMIND HIM TO TRY AND BE GENTLE WITH THE SHIFTER AND MAKE SURE THAT HE SETS THE PARKING BRAKE IN CASE THE BUSHING FAILS AND THE VEHICLE DOESN'T GO INTO PARK. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM FIAT/CHRYSLER SINCE THE INITIAL RECALL NOTIFICATION. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THEY OWE US ANSWERS OF WHEN OUR VEHICLES WILL BE FIXED OR THEY SHOULD START A VEHICLE BUYBACK PROGRAM IF THEY CAN'T FIX THE PROBLEM.
THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE ON MY CAR STOPPED WORKING WHEN I WAS LEAVING MY GARAGE TO GO IN A ROAD TRIP. THIS PROBLEM ALREADY HAVE A SAFETY RECALL ISSUED, HOWEVER A REMEDY FOR THIS CONDITION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. THE CAR HAS BEEN TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP, AND THEY ADVISED THAT A PART HAS BEEN ORDERED TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND I HAVE CONTACTED FCA THAT ADVISED ME THAT THEY WOULD SEND APPROVAL TO THE DEALERSHIP TO PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS FROM ME AND FROM THE DEALERSHIP, FCA STILL HAVEN'T GIVEN THE APPROVAL TO THE DEALERSHIP TO PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR.
MY CAR CUT OFF TWICE THIS MORNING, AND ALMOST DIDN'T CRANK BACK UP. THEN MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, SO I TOOK IT BY O'REILLY TO GET THE ENGINE TESTED. IT SHOWED THAT MY THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL WAS BAD. PRIOR TO THIS IT SEEMED LIKE SOMETIMES WHEN I TRIED TO CHANGE GEARS THAT IT WAS STICKING OR SOMETHING. IT WAS ALMOST AS IF IT WAS SWITCHING GEARS PROPERLY. TO TOP IT OFF, I'VE HAD TO REPLACE ALL OF MY TIRES ONCE, AND A COUPLE OF THEM TWICE. NOW TODAY IT APPEARS I'LL HAVE TO REPLACE THE BACK TWO A THIRD TIME. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I'VE BEEN WONDERING IF THEY JUST DIDN'T LET ME KNOW THAT THE TIRES THEY WERE PUTTING ON WERE BAD TIRES, POSSIBLY RECALL TIRES. I'M WONDERING BECAUSE I'VE REPLACED TIRES WAY TOO MANY TIMES, AND ONE OF THE LAST TIMES I WENT THEY TOLD ME THEY NO LONGER HAD THE TYPE OF TIRES THAT WERE ON MY CAR, BECAUSE THEY DECIDED TO STOP BUYING THAT BRAND. POWER TRAIN RECALL....I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY INTO THE ROAD AND THE RECALL ITEM FOR TRANSMISSION. THE ELECTRONIC DEVICE CAME OFF AND THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR AND I GOT STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD I LIVE ON WHILE TRAFFIC WAS TRYING TO GET THROUGH. MY CAR WOULD NOT GO IN REVERSE OR DRIVE. I GOT IT PULLED BACK INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND A NICE GENTLEMEN THAT HELPED LOOKED AT MY CAR AND REALIZED THAT THE POWER TRAIN WAS NOT ATTACHED.

TAKATA RECALL - MY AIRBAG LIGHT HAS COME ON AND WILL NOT GO OFF. ALONG WITH THE SWIGGLY ROAD LIGHT. NO ONE UNDERSTANDS WHY THEY ARE ON. THE OTHER ISSUE BEING THE SHIFTER CABLE OF THE CAR, I HAVE USED MY SHIFTER AND THE CAR DOES NOT ACTUALLY SHIFT IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY. MY BREAKS, HOWEVER, DID WORK SO I USED THEM. I BELIEVE THIS WAS UNSAFE BECAUSE ON THE HIGHWAY PEOPLE DRIVE VERY FAST. IF I WAS TRYING A MANUAL DODGE DART I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO STOP. AFTER THIS HAPPENED I STOPPED USING THE MANUAL SHIFTER WHILE DRIVING. WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN PARK OR REVERSE HOWEVER IT SHIFTS VERY ABRUPTLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOR A WHILE NOW BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE MY FOOT WASN'T ON THE BRAKE HARD ENOUGH BUT IT CONTINUED TO HAPPEN.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000.

I WAS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AT A COFFEE SHOP AND MY CAR STALLED AND WOULDN'T SHIFT GEARS. FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET IT TOWED DUE TO A RECALL ON THE VEHICLE AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE A WEEK TO GET IT BACK. RECEIVED A PHONE CALL EXACTLY AT ONE WEEK AND FOUND BUT IT WILL BE 1 MONTH BEFORE THE PART WILL COME IN. THAT DOESN'T EVEN INCLUDE THEM FIXING THE ACTUAL CAR. DIDN'T EVEN OFFER ME A RENTAL. IT'S BEEN GREAT.

MY PROBLEM PERTAINS TO RECALL 19V-293 MY SHIFT CABLE BUSHING BROKE TODAY WHILE I WAS SHIFTING FROM DRIVE TO PARK IN A PARKING GARAGE AND ACCORDING TO THE DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP DEALERSHIP IN TALLAHASSEE, FL CHRYSLER HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY PARTS OR REMEDY FOR THE ISSUE WHICH WAS RECALLED IN APRIL. THEY TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE THAT THEY WOULD CHARGE ME AT LEAST $450 TO REPAIR THE ISSUE AND THAT THEY COULD NOT GIVE ANY ESTIMATE AS TO HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PERSONALLY SEEK REIMBURSEMENT FROM CHRYSLER AFTER THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. I FEEL THAT THIS IS COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE GIVEN THAT A RECALL WAS ISSUED NEARLY THREE MONTHS AGO AND AM REPORTING WHAT I BELIEVE IS A FAILURE TO ADEQUATELY PROVIDE REMEDY FOR THE ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
CLUTCH PEDAL GETS STUCK CLOSE TO THE FLOOR UPON START UP AND CLUTCH MAY NOT RE-ENGAGE WHEN UP SHIFTING. HAPPENED ON A BUSY CITY STREET AS WELL AS ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN TRYING TO MERGE INTO THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL, AS THE SECOND OWNER I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED AND THE TIME OF THE WARRANTY EXPIRED ALTHOUGH I AM STILL UNDER THE MILEAGE BUT THEY REFUSE TO HELP ME. I WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS NOT JUST DRIVER ERROR WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED SUMMER OF 2019 IF I HAD BEEN PROPERLY NOTIFIED. INSTEAD IT WAS NOT UNTIL SEPT 27 2020 WHEN THE CLUTCH PEDAL STARTED STICKING THAT I RESEARCHED AND FOUND THE INFO OF THE SERVICE BULLETIN. 4 DEALERSHIPS HAD MY CAR MULTIPLE TIMES AND NONE OF THEM MENTIONED THIS EITHER.
