TAKATA RECALL . I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND I NOTICED IT SMOKING I LOOK AND THE BACK WINDOW WAS ON FIRE SMOKING AND MY WIRING TO DOOR IS FRIED AND WINDOW SWITCH IS FRIED. *DT UPDATED 12/06/18*JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE BRAKES SEIZED AND THE ABS AND CHECK ENGINE INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JOHN HIESTER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (844-432-6794, LOCATED AT 940 N MAIN ST, LILLINGTON, NC 27546) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE AIR BAG INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, WHICH WAS A SAFETY CONCERN. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND AUTO ZONE ASSESSED THE VEHICLE AND RESET THE AIR BAG INDICATOR; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. TIM CASTELLAW CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP (900 US-51, DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE 38024, (731) 201-4855) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 65,000.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE PASSENGER HEADREST DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON. IT HIT MY FIANCE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. WE WERE SLOWING DOWN FOR A STOP SIGN ON A COUNTRY ROAD FROM APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH. WHEN WE GOT HOME WE EXAMINED THE HEADREST AND NOTICED BROKEN PLASTIC PIECES IN SIDE AND A METAL PIN LAYING IN THERE. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THIS VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT.
DRIVER'S HEADRERST DEPLOYED AND CANNOT BE PUT BACK TOGETHER, BUT THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT.
KEY FOB SHOULD NOT GO OUT SO SOON. CAR DO NOT START. I CHANGED BATTERY. IT WILL UNLOCK AND LOCK DOORS BUT DO NOT START. I CALLED DODGE 8004236343 AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I CAN START IT WITH THE KEY BUT THERE IS NO WHERE TO PUT THE KEY OTHER THAN THE DOOR. THEN THEY ASKED ME TO PUT THE KEY FOB TO THE PUSH START ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF WHERE I INSERT THE EMERGENCY KEY AND PRESS TO START AND THAT DID NOT WORK. THEY WALKED ME THROUGH STEP BY STEP AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. PLUS MY CAR SHAKES WHILE DRIVING.
GOING AT 45 MPH HIT FALLING TREE HEAD ON AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED
OUT OF NOWHERE, FOR NO REASON, OUR AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND IS NOW STUCK ON THE DASH. WE WERE JUST DRIVING WEST ON I70 TOWARDS WHEELING WV. LIGHT TRAFFIC OVERCAST BUT NO RAIN. NOW WE ARE BEING TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT OUR AIRBAGS WON'T GO OFF IN OUR FACE BUT THEY ALSO WON'T FUNCTION AT ALL WHEN NEEDED IN AN ACCIDENT.
MY AIR LIGHT CAME ON OUT OF NO WHERE.AND DOES NOT GO AWAY. I WAS NOTIFIED NO RECALLS ARE ON THIS VEHICLE BY MY DEALER SHIP AND WAS INFORMED THE AIR BAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY IF WE WERE TO GET IN A ACCIDENT.
MY SON WAS DRIVING IN HEAVY RAIN WHEN THE VEHICLE HYDROPLANED IN WHICH THE VEHICLE CRASHED AND HIT THE GUARD RAIL. DURING THE INVESTIGATION THE IT WAS ASKED IF THE THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING THE ACCIDENT. THIS WAS A VERY SERIOUS FRONTAL IMPACT WITH MINOR INJURIES. *TT *TR
ABS LIGHT ON
MY CAR WAS NOT RUNNING. I HAD JUST GOTTEN IN MY CAR AND THE HEADREST DEPLOYED AND HIT ME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD.
I WILL BE DRIVING AND THE CAR WILL SHUT OFF WITH OUT WARNING. WHEN I TURN THE CAR OFF SOMETIMES IT WILL START BACK UP. DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR WITH OUT 2 YEAR OLD SON. IT HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES
I HAVE A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY THAT HAS HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH IT. BEFORE THE CAR WAS EVEN A YEAR OLD IT WAS TAKING INTO THE SHOP FOR TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF ON ME WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION WHILE I WAS TURNING LEFT. THE CAR WOULD NOT RESTART AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. AT THAT POINT, THE SERVICE WAS ESCALATED TO A HIGHER DEPARTMENT AND A HIGH LEVEL REPAIR PERSON WAS BROUGHT IN. LESS THAN 15,000 MILES LATER, THE CAR BEGAN HEAVILY SHAKING EVERY TIME IT WAS DRIVEN. THE FIND WAS THAT THERE WAS A MISSING BOLT IN THE TIE ROD. THE SERVICE MAN SAID THERE WAS NO REASONABLE EXCUSE THAT COULD EXPLAIN HOW THIS WOULD EVEN OCCUR. TODAY, THE CAR IS IN THE SHOP FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THREE DAYS. INITIALLY FOR THE BATTER LIGHT COMING ON WHILE DRIVING. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A LOOSE WIRE AND SOME CORROSION ON THE BATTER BUT THAT IT WAS REPAIRED. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER THEN LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN WHILE DRIVING THIS TIME WITH THE WARNING ON THE PANEL THAT READ BATTERY SAVING MODE. I IMMEDIATELY RETURNED THE CAR TO THE SHOP. WAITED ALL DAY YESTERDAY ONLY TO BE GIVEN THE SAME EXPLANATION THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY GIVEN. UPON FURTHER PROBING I DISCOVER THE CAR HAD NEVER EVEN BEEN RE INSPECTED. THE CAR CONTINUES TO BE IN THE SHOP HAS HAS BEEN UNDRIVABLE FOR 4 DAYS NOW. I HAVE A 6 YEAR OLD SONE WHO IS TRANSPORTED IN THE VEHICLE DAILY. I'M BEGINNING TO FEAR FOR HIS SAFETY IN THE CAR GIVEN ITS HISTORY AND WILL NO LONGER PLACE HIM IN HARMS WAY BY DRIVING IN THIS CAR. THE UNBELIEVABLE SERIOUS PROBLEMS THAT HAVE OCCURRED WITH THIS VEHICLE ARE ALARMING. ESPECIALLY, GIVEN THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO CLEAR EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THE ISSUES ARE ARISING. THESE ARE NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR COMPLICATIONS. THESE ARE SERIOUS MANUFACTURING ISSUES.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 17V432000 (AIR BAGS), 18V332000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL), AND 15V675000 (ELECTRICAL STABILITY CONTROL, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. KENDALL CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF SOLDOTNA (44055 STERLING HWY, SOLDOTNA, AK 99669, (866) 387-9070) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT. *TT CONSUMER STATED IN SUMMARY, IT APPEARS TOUS THAT THE RANGE OF VEHICLES ADDRESSED INTHE RECALL IS TOO NARROW. OUR VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 5 DAYS OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF THE RECALL, YET DISPLAYED THE SAME PROBLEM AND DEALERSHIP WAS NOT WILLING TO REPAIR UNDER THE GENERAL WARRANTY. UPDATED 10/16/18*JB
1. THE DRIVER SEAT BELT DOES NOT STAY LOCKED IN. PERIODICALLY I WOULD PUT THE SEATBELTS ON AND IT WILL UNBUCKLE AS IF IT WASN'T SECURED IN. I HEARD IT CLICK. IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. LUCKILY I WAS NOT MOVING AT THE TIME. 2. I RECEIVED AN TUNE UP AT APPROXIMATELY 95K MILES. ONE IF THE PISTONS WAS MISFIRING. I BELIEVE THE 6TH ONE WAS. BRAND NEW PARTS AND WAS INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC. THERE IS A KNOCKING NOISE THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY. THE BELTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. 3. WHILE OUT OF TOWN I WAS PARKING AND WHILE IN REVERSE IT BECAME HARD TO TURN. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS NO FLUID IN THE POWERSTEERING. THERE WAS A LOW FLUID INDICATION. .I IMMEDIATELY FILLED THE CAR UP WILL POWER STEERING FLUID. SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN HARDER TO TURN MY WHEEL. IT STARTED OFF I COULD NOT TURN RIGHT WITHOUT A STRUGGLE. THEN IT WAS THE LEFT SIDE . THE ONLY WAY TO TURN IS TO ACCELERATE AND TURN. THIS CAME OUT OF NOWHERE. THE AGGRESSIVE PROGRESS IN THE LOSS IF STEERING ABILITY IS TROUBLING ESPECIALLY WITH SMALLER CHILDREN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY EQUIPPED WITH KUMHO SOLUS KH16 TIRES, SIZE: P225/65 R17. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO EXECUTIVE DODGE JEEP (406 S ORCHARD ST, WALLINGFORD, CT 06492, (203) 599-0470) FOR A TIRE ROTATION AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE REAR TIRES WERE WEARING UNEVENLY AND AN ALIGNMENT WAS NEEDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000.
DRIVER SIDE CONTINUES TO BLOW HOT AIR WHILE THE PASSENGER BLOWS COOL AIR WHILE THE A/C IS RUNNING. TOLD IT WAS THE BLEND DOOR MOTOR AND GOT IT FIXED. A FEW DAYS LATER, THE SOME PROBLEM BEGAN AGAIN.
THE ABS WARNING LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED, BUT THERE IS NO TROUBLE CODES. THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ALERT, ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY OF SUCH I FOUND ONLINE.
VEHICLE STALLS AFTER COMING TO STOP AND ATTEMPTING TO RESUME. IT STARTS BACK UP AFTER BEING PUT INTO PARK AND PUSHING IGNITION BUTTON.
STEERING SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS OUT. A FEW DAYS LATER THEY CALLED (CAR WAS STILL AT THE SHOP) AND SAID THAT THE PUMP GOING OUT CAUSED A RUPTURE IN THE RACK AND PINION.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
DODGE RECALL R61 WELL I HAVE A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY AND I WAS HAVING TORQUE CONVERTER PROBLEMS IN WHICH THE DEALER COVERED BUT WHILE THEY WERE IN THERE THEY ALSO DISCOVERED THERE WAS AN ENGINE WIRING HARNESS IN WHICH WATER LEAKED ON FROM A MANUFACTURER MADE HOLE WHICH HAD A SCREW THAT GOT LOSE AND CORRODED MY WIRES WHICH CONTROLLED THE ABS DASH COMPONENTS LIGHTS REFERENCING TO RECALL # R61.. I'M SURE THAT THIS VEHICLE AND MAYBE OTHERS HAVE BEEN AFFECTED OUTSIDE OF WHICH THEY CLAIM. I'M NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY MY CAR WASN'T RECALLED ON THIS MATTER?! WHEN THE PROBLEM IS IDENTICAL TO RECALL R61 ... PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.. IT'S REALLY ASHAMED THAT ONLY SOME CARS ARE GETTING FIXED AND OTHERS ARE OUT $2000 AND MORE BECAUSE OF DATES I WHICH I KNOW NOT ABOUT BUT PROBLEMS ARE IDENTICAL.. I FEEL THIS IS VITAL FOR INVESTIGATION FOR THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF DODGE CUSTOMERS. LITHIA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT OF BRYAN COLLEGE STATION (301 N EARL RUDDER FWY, BRYAN, TX 77802, 979-213-5361) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE REGARDING THE LACK OF VOICE RECOGNITION AND BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONALITY. AS A RESULT, THE PHONE WAS UNABLE TO CONNECT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
WHILE DRIVING (IN MOTION) ON THE HIGHWAY, STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AS IF THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, AND THE ENGINE WAS OFF. I HAD JUST 5 MILES PREVIOUSLY TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL TO GET ON THE HIGHWAY. I HAD TO COME TO A STOP, PLACE VEHICLE IN PARK AND TURN THE CAR OFF. ONCE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED, I WAS ABLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL...*BF.. CONSUMER STATED DEALERSHIP WILL BE REPLACING THE STEERING GEAR,RACK,AND MODULE. *JB
WHEN ACCELERATING VEHICLE PULLS MORE ONE WAY (RIGHT). WHEN AT STEADY SPEED VEHICLE HOLDS DIRECTION BUT IF GETTING ON THE FREEWAY OR ACCELERATING AFTER STOPPING, I HAVE TO STRONGLY CORRECT THE VEHICLE'S DIRECTION. CONCERNED THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF BRAKES NOT FULLY RELEASING AFTER STOPPING AND IS ONLY NOTICEABLE BECAUSE OF THE SPEED (ENTERING THE FREEWAY) OR FULL STOP WAS MADE.
THE ENGINE TURNS OFF DURING OPERATION WITH NO WARNING. STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP AND BRAKES ARE HARD TO APPLY. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO WARN OF A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE. PROBLEM IS RANDOM AND IS HAPPENING DURING VEHICLE OPERATION AND MAY CAUSE ACCIDENT IF ON THE HIGHWAY.
TAKATA RECALL AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ON
CAR SUDDENLY TURNED OFF WHILE IN MOTION CAUSING WHEEL AND RIM DAMAGE AS WELL AS BACK NUMBER DAMAGE. REPLACED BATTERY AFTER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AT WHICH TIME THE VEHICLE OPERATED FINE THE PREVIOUS DAY AND HAD BEEN SITTING OVERNIGHT(DIAGNOSED BY AUTO ZONE), REPLACED ON 6-JUL-18. TODAY 18-JUL-18 ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHTS OR POWER TO THE VEHICLE. I HAVE TRIED JUMPS AND CAR IS STILL INOPERABLE. IT GETS SO HOT IN HERE THAT THE INTERIOR SURFACES ARE MELTING AND CHIPPING OFF.
2015 DODGE JOURNEY. CONSUMER WRITES SEEKING REIMBURSEMENT FOR TIRE PURCHASE FOR VEHICLE. *LD *JS
MY HEADREST ON THE PASSENGER SIDE POPPED OPEN AND CAN'T BE RESET. LOOKS LIKE A PLASTIC PIECE BROKE ON THE INSIDE. THE VEHICLE HAD A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT. WE WERE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET, STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT.
ABS RECALL, MY DODGE JOURNEY FITS THE SAME DESCRIPTION FOR AN ABS RECALL, HOWEVER MY VIN NUMBER DOESN'T SAY THAT IT IS AFFECTED. I AM OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY SO THE DEALERSHIP WON'T TOUCH IT. DISPLEASED MAJORLY!!
THE VEHICLE WILL LOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND SIMULTANEOUSLY THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ACTIVATES FOLLOWED BY THE CAR LAUNCHING FORWARD AND THE SERVICE AWD AND ABS LIGHTS ACTIVATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A CHRYSLER GARAGE WHICH DUPLICATED THE PROBLEM AND SAW THE FAULTS IN THE COMPUTER. HOWEVER THE GARAGE WAS UNABLE TO FORMULATE A SOLUTION. THEY STATED THEY CHECKED ALL THE CONNECTIONS AND RAN THE VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY 160 MILES WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL OCCURRENCES AND RELEASED THE VEHICLE WITHOUT ANY FURTHER REPAIR. 4 DAYS LATER AND APPROXIMATELY 150 MILES THE PROBLEM RECURRED IN A PARKING LOT WHILE BACKING UP WITH THE LIGHTS ACTIVATING IN THE SAME SEQUENCE.
MY CAR HAS 64,000 MILES ON IT AND THE ABS LIGHT, TRACTION LIGHT, BRAKE LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON FRIDAY TO GET IT DIAGNOSED. AT 32,000 MILES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON UPON STARTING AND MY CAR WOULD NOT GO OVER 30 MILES PER HOUR. A FUEL INJECTOR SENSOR WENT OUT.
I HAVE HAD TWO HEAD REST AIR BAGS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON AND WITHOUT WARNING. FIRST IT WAS THE DRIVER SEAT IN WICH DODGE REPLACED AFTER WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED NOW THE PASSENGER SEAT HEAD REST AIR BAG HAS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON AND DODGE IS REFUSING TO REPLACE THIS ONE. DODGE WAS UNABLE TO TELL ME IF THESE AIR BAGS WERE MADE BY THE TAKATA COMPANY. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPEN MY WIFE HAD JUST PULLED INTO THE GARAGE AND WAS SETTING IN THE CAR TALKING ON THE PHONE WHEN IT DEPLOYED HITTING HER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD. THE SECOND TIME THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS NOTICE DEPLOYED WHILE GETTING IN THE CAR IN THE GARAGE.
I HAD MY VEHICLE FOR A YEAR AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY VEHICLE WILL NOT STEER CORRECTLY. IT WONT TURN RIGHT AT ALL IT JUST GOES STRAIGHT. I FEEL THE SAFETY FOR MY CHILDREN AND I ARE AT RISK. SOMETHING ABOUT A RACK & PINION NOT WORKING DUE TO POWER STEERING FAILURE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE SHIFTED TO THE LEFT AND THE CHECK ENGINE, BRAKE, AND ABS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM AND ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE REPAIRS WERE NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

NOW MY VEHICLE JERKS WHEN SWITCHING GEARS AND STALLS RANDOMLY WHEN I COME TO A STOP. I AM AT 76K MILES. THIS NEW TRANSMISSION IS STILL UNDER WARRENTY SINCE IT HAS NOT BEEN A YEAR. THIS CAR IS A LEMON!!! I WILL BE GETTING RID OF IT SOON. I WAS HOPING TO KEEP IT AFTER I PAID IT OFF, BUT I DON'T THINK IT WILL LAST FOR ME TO SEE IT GET PAID OFF! I HAVE ALSO HAD A SEAT TRACK FIXED AND THE RADIO AND NAVIGATION REPLACED, AS WELL AS THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE STEERING WHEEL AND CRUISE CONTROL. ALL DURING WARRENTY THANKFULLY. MAKES ME ANGRY BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO START OVER ON A LOAN AND I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY AT THE SAME INTEREST RATE.

WHILE DRIVING MY VEHICLE, IT SHUTS DOWN ON ME, STEERING WHEEL LOCKS AND IT STOPS ACCELERATING. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS, AS IT JUST STOPS ON ME. IT HAS LEFT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY STREET, AND ITS BEEN A FEW TIMES NOW. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, ALTHOUGH, IN TWO OCCASIONS, WHEN THE CAR STARTED BACK UP, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOES AWAY. IT'S NERVE WRECKING AND SCARY TO KNOW THAT IT WILL SHUT DOWN ON ME JUST LIKE THAT, WHILE IN MOTION. I DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY, I JUST HOPE, NEXT TIME, IT DOESN'T SHUT DOWN ON ME IN THE HIGHWAY. THE DRIVERS SEATBELT DOES NOT LATCH PROPERLY AND WILL COME UNDONE WHILE DRIVING. SINCE NOTICING THE ISSUE I WILL TEST THE LATCH EACH TIME I PUT ON THE SEATBELT AND I HAVE TO RE-BUCKLE THE LATCH 3-5 TIMES SOMETIMES TO GET IT TO LATCH PROPERLY.

MY DODGE JOURNEY HAS LESS THAN 70,000 MILES ON IT. AT THIS POINT THE ENTIRE REAR DRIVE SHAFT AND ALL MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION MOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THEY WERE ALL SEVERELY DAMAGED. TIRES SHOW SIGNIFICANT WEAR EVEN THOUGH VEHICLE IS WITHIN ALIGNMENT STANDARDS. THE FAR LEFT VENT (DRIVER'S SIDE) BLOWS COOL AIR, BUT THE OTHER THREE FRONT VENTS ARE BLOWING HEAT. THERE IS A SEVERE, LOUD ROARING SOUND THAT HAS YET TO BE DIAGNOSED. THIS IS A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF PROBLEMS IN SUCH A SHORT TIME OF VEHICLE USAGE.
